Donair Cafe in Chilliwack

I dont like leaving bad reviews, but the food is terrible. Too overcooked, falafels are too spicy and also overcooked. And all this is very expensive. Guys, for such prices I would try very hard to get people to come to you.

Update: prices changed, more expensive, quantity seems to have increased though. Would still recommend over donair affair or McDonald s. Was around. 15-20$ though but the portions were big and filling. I d say it s still fair. Although I liked it more earlier. I ordered a chicken donair and enjoyed it. In this economy the price is great. 10$ for a donair currently. And to top it all off Best donair in chilliwack. Better than tulip donair nowadays. This place is awesome. Can t recommend it enough. Definitely the stop to make before a movie. Wouldn t surprise me if it s healthier than subway. Dunno how subway can compete with this one. So good.

Used to be best donair in chilliwack now they want to charge you for cheese after you have already paid for a donair...... If I felt like being ripped off I would have just gone to donair affair in the first place.

Amazing donairs! I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight after reading others reviews. I was greeted by the owners with a big smile and a welcome. Their food did not disappoint! We ordered a super beef and a super beef/lamb. The portions were huge, meat was deliciously seasoned and the tzatziki was so yummy! The tzatziki was all throughout the donair so every bite was well sauced. We will definitely be back! Also, I used their Clover site to order online - super efficient and the food was hot and ready exactly on time!

One of the best donairs Ive ever had. Its a family owned business, and the owner is a great guy. All the veggies were crisp fresh, and the Lamb was juicy and delicious. 5 stars for sure. This place is going to be a regular for me. Part 2: Never siezes to impress. Just went back again, and it was just as good as the first time. God this place is awesome. I get the Mixed super doniar with everything on it, and its always insanely good.

My favourite place to eat in Chilliwack. Amazing donairs and the sauces are on point. The cilantro sauce is so delicious. Ive also tried the spinach and feta pies and they are as good as the ones I used to enjoy in Bosnia. The people are friendly and kind. The person who runs it definitely cares about quality and flavour. This is a must visit.

My wife and I tried Donair Cafe for the first time last weekend, and the food is amazing! Weve already gone back a couple of more times. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are quite generous - very good value for the money. The owner and staff are friendly as well. Id highly recommend giving Donair Cafe a try if youve never been.

Went here the other day for a quick lunch. The donair platter was awesome. Chicken was great, salad was awesome! Ordered the pita and hummus side as well. Large portion of VERY fresh hummus, and it was fantastic! Best Ive had in a long while. Highly recommend. Will be back soon!

Got the falafel rice platter. Asked for sweet sauce and garlic. Got it togo. When I got home my rice platter was covered in hot sauce (which I did not ask for) making it close to impossible for me to eat. The falafel was awful. Extremely bland and so dry, as if it was sitting around all day. Ive had better store bought falafel. We tried this place because of the stars, but we wont be going back.

Abdul is a gracious host. The men have been raving about these donairs since we landed here ..you cannot get a fresher meal for the price ..I will no longer eating burgers in chilliwack fresh veg pickled veg and fresh meat in a wrap for under 10 dollars!!

The chef is an absolute wizard. Everything from donairs to rice platters are always on point and consistent! Go to place for sure.

5 stars for this newly opened Donair cafe. I enjoyed my lamb and beef donair, the toppings were very generous and it was a large amount of protein for the cost . My only complaint is the brand of pita they use is one i have also bought in the past but i find it tends to tear or fall apart easily. So when loaded with so much amazing toppings i found my donair did start to fall apart. i will for sure come back and try the lamb shank next ! 5/5 as the pita is not the cafes fault it is just the brand of pita.

Host was lovely. Super clean restaurant. Great prices. Meat and sauces did lack some flavour but I see they are taking all review comments into consideration so I think they will improve with that. My only complaint, which could be personal preference, is that the meat is cut thick. I prefer it more shaved so it s crispy on the outside. Overall great place. Will defenitly try again .

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! I had the chicken Donair wrap and my husband had the beef kebab platter. The toppings on my wrap were fresh and the chicken was fantastic. My husband loved the beef and said the hummus was amazing. Well be back for sure!

When traveling in the Fraser valley, Donair Café in Chilliwack is my favourite dinning spot. The Lamb shank is favorable and the chicken and beef equally as tasty. Reminded me of my last visit to Turkey. Well worth a visit!

Was greeted by a friendly man who put my donair together with great care and precision. Once I tasted it, I could confirm that the care paid off. Already they have provided the option to have a simple Lamb Donair, rather than Lamb/Beef combined. So I tried the simple Lamb. It was delicious. Ill see you again soon.

When I was looking for places to eat in the vicinity, Donair Cafe came up. I dont usually write reviews, but I feel forced to do so because the cuisine was outstanding. I must add that I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of the meal, and the pricing is reasonable. They provide the most delicious baklava Ive ever tasted! The location is lovely, and the staff Are quite pleasant. This eatery comes highly recommended from me.

Stopped by for late breakfast, place was extremely clean and the Lamb+Beef Donair wrap was great! Plenty of options for toppings, everything tasted great and the people running it are very friendly and welcoming! Also on Skip the Dishes, but its better to eat in when its freshly prepped!

Omgosh, 1st time customer and it was amazing, I went in to order for my family of 8 for lunch and everyone loved everything lamb, chicken, all the sauces and the customer service was an 15 out of 10 . Got the Lamb & Beef Wrap, was a great portion size. Enjoyed it till the very last bite! Great taste and quality. However seating area is small, also the washroom could use a little bit of sprucing up. Other than that the place is fantastic spot esp. in the valley area! Keep up the awesome work!

Came in at closing time and still received a very friendly greeting. I ordered the lamb and beef donair platter. Great food, best hummus I ve tasted in a while. Rice was still warm and not dried out, even out at the end of the day. Restaurant was clean and I would recommend this place to anybody in or out of town.

Came in ten minutes before closing, the owner was such an awesome host - he chatted with us while making the donairs and after a bit he was actually surprised that we were taking the food to go - like he would have fully been okay with us staying there until we finished our food (which was a pretty big, delicious donair). I appreciate the shop is very clean and the owner is very nice. The donair was large and good however I do prefer my meat shaved as it s easier to eat than chunks, also more spicing in the meat a little bland (salt pepper?). If that changes it could be a 5!

Great donairs at this place! Lots of different toppings, though I chose the traditional combination of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, pickled radish, taboulleh, hot sauce, and garlic sauce. The donair (lamb and beef) was substantial, a great value for the price ($8.99), and tasted great. The baklava was great too, a nice sweet treat to end the meal. Service was prompt and friendly. This is our new go-to place for donairs in Chilliwack (though admittedly, we have not tried Donair Affair yet).

I love Middle Eastern food and have had my fair share of shawarma and donair wraps and plates growing up. This is a quaint little place with a friendly owner. I had the beef and lamb plate for takeout. It came with a small salad, hummus, pita, rice, and two kinds of meat. The hummus was a bit grainy but had a nice flavour. The Greek salad was fresh and crisp. The pita was a nice added touch to eat with the hummus. There was a good amount of beef and lamb meat but it was quite dry. I did notice that some of the meat had been pre-cut already and then heated up in their oven which may have not helped the meat. The sauces did help liven up the dish and were delicious.

I was looking for a shawarma place in chilliwack as I was in town for a visit, this little place is as rated 4.9 stars out of 5, so I had to give it a try, to mu Muslim brothers and sisters this place serves halal food. The food was delicious and loved the customer service as well.

I have been to the donair cafe multiple times and have always been blown away by the great food, huge portions and amazing service.

On our way to the movies, we decided to try out this new restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious! Authentic and made with love, it is a family run restaurant. We both had the mixed platter which costs $16; their basmiti rice is so flavorful, the meats are all tender and have that crisp from being on the rotating spit *and SO MUCH OF IT*, the hummus is creamy, and the 4 different sauces are YUM! Tzaziki, hot sauce, garlic sauce, and a sweet sauce It also comes with Greek salad and a pita. Honestly, we could have split one meal between the two of us. Theres nothing fancy for decor yet, but you go for the food, and this hits the spot!! We will be coming back for sure...and you should too. We saw the size of the donair pitas and they are HUGE! The owners are very nice, and we let them know how impressed we were with our meals.
