Good food and an amazing wine list. Really cool place to go and enjoy the atmosphere. Its definitely worth checking out.

Delicious food, great wine selection, amazing service!

We haven t been here in a while and with the new dinner menu we were pleasantly surprised. Wine and meals were amazing. We definitely will be back. Dietary restrictions: My wife loved your quinoa salad as she said it looked small but was packed with flavour.

We loved the service and the food was mint. I ordered the blue cheese stuffed figgies. I cant help thinking they would be really good in a fresh fig, lightly baked, then stuffed with the prosciutto wrapped blue cheese (awesome!) and lightly broiled. We have such nice fresh figs here! Again, no fault, and the food was amazeballs, just an idea Ive had, after drinking a flight of delicious red wine.

Well, I try my best to be objective with all my reviews. The place was nice, the food was okay . The service was okay until it wasn t. My wife and I went there for the first time, we were looking for something new and the place looked nice, the service was good at the beginning. We ordered a plate to share and my wife ordered an entree, I thought I was going to be good just with the shareable plate but half way I decided to order an entree for me, I told the waitress ONLY if what I requested was going to be ready at the same time than my wife s dinner I would order it, to what she responded that it should be okay, and i thought it was very doable because it was just a pulled pork sandwich, so they brought my wife s plate, 10 minutes went by and my wife was trying to wait for me eating slow, I called the waitress and asked her again that if they hadn t started preparing my plate I would like to cancel it, to what she responded that it should be almost done, I told my wife not to wait anymore, ten more minutes later she brought my plate, I couldn t tell her that i didn t want it anymore because she left really fast , my wife was already done eating and I didn t want to eat it anymore, a few minutes later she came and asked gow we were doing so I told her that I didn t want it, she said but you ordered it! And I said yes but only if I could get it at the same time than my wife s, she didn t look to happy but she took it back. We weren t upset, we left 20% tip. In my way out, I se her behind the bar at the entrance so I approached her, there was a guy next to her, with a smile I told her that my wife and I have been in the restaurant business for some time, (my wife is a sous chef that has worked in very high class restaurants) and if she allowed me a little advice, when I ordered my dinner even though it was late she could ve very easily told the cook that it was a rush ordered and it would ve taken 5 minutes to prepare, right there the other guy interrupted me and told me that he was the manager and he heard everything, that they canceled my order (with a tone like if it was a big deal) and that i didn t have to say anything else, basically telling me to leave, I still tried to explain to him that it wouldn t have affected anything if he would ve put my order as a rush but he told me that it wasn t fair for the other customers that had orders before mine and told me again that it was it, then my wife told him that he was being rude and we left. They were nice at the beginning, I won t deny it, but they really have no idea how to make customers happy when there is a special circumstance, what I tried to tell them it was good advice, they would ve made me happy and for 5 minutes that another order would ve have to wait it wouldn t bother the other customer. But the way this guy came out was very rude, unless he is the owner I guess he can do whatever he wants but if not, the owner should send him to take a course. That place looked like a high class place, at least that is how they pretend to present themselves, if they focus in wines and cheese s you ll think that at the very least they can handle a simple situation like having to rush n order, it won t mess up anything, the really nice restaurants do it all the time. So bottom line, if you go there you might have a good time IF you don t ask for anything special. Once again, the waitress was nice but since the beginning she should ve told me that my plate wasn t going to be ready at the same time than my wife s and then clearly get upset when i rejected it. But that guy, the manager , he has no idea how a real restaurant should be managed, he might be good working for a fast food restaurant but not for a place like that. Fabulous selection of wines, delicious food, and knowledgeable, personable staff.

Nice place, great wine list, limited but tasty & interesting menu of mainly appetizers and shareable s. However even though it was a Saturday evening, the service was very slow. Took about 90 minutes to get our first item. For the cost, would not go back.

The server was nice and not pushy at all. They knew when to ask and when to leave customers alone. Would visit again.

Had a nice visit with a friend! The server was fairly prompt. We seemed to have no server for a bit and then were notified someone else was taking over so that made sense. We came for the end of happy hour so our food and drinks came quite quickly. The patio is a little small but its expected based on the location of the establishment- I just wish there was more space outside! Overall, I definitely will come back again.

Had a lovely evening there. Found a fabulous wine I loved. As a colleague in the industry I always appreciate the hard work that goes into menu design. Two thumbs up from Ripples Winery and New Wave Distilling.

Food is always amazing. The wine flights are my favourite. Was wonderful having my birthday dinner here.

Everything was delicious, and the wine was simply amazing. They have a very good wine list, on Thursdays they have a 50% discount on a whole bottle of wine

Been here a few time and overall me and the wife have been happy. We enjoy wine and frequent the wineries in the oakanagan. They are very educated in wine so its refreshing for suggestions. They have a certain day which I Beleive is Thursday they have half price bottles. This would certainly keep me coming during a weekday, great value.

Grilled Caesar salad was the thing I always go for. Went to happy hr ordered it as usual. Was totally different. No taste dab of mayo on top and dried chick peas Used to be with toasted capers and olive paste on the side. Was so tasty and amazing. I told the waiter. He admitted that s not the usual way but also said no more olive paste All I got was a discount on the salad. I had one glass of wine. Wouldn t you think that the whole salad should have been erased, and just charge me for my wine. Or say wine is on the house, to go the extra mile. Bad business not going back

Really like the place. Friendly service. Love the platters . Wine is great as well . One of my favourite in Chilliwack

This such such a great place to bring out of town guests! The ambiance is so nice and the staff is really good. I recommend everyone who loves to have a cocktail or wine with a friend to visit this spot! Located in the hip new district 1881!

Amazing wine bar!! The service is top notch. The staff are very informative on the different wines they have and extremely accommodating. The appies are delicious. I have never had a full meal so I can t comment on that. The vibe and decor and great. Highly recommend. So nice to have somewhere like this in Chilliwack.

First time experience here and it was very, very good! The flights are definitely worth a try! The flavoring of the food compliments the different wines perfectly. The server knew what she was talking about and was very friendly and energetic. Would go again to try a different combination of flights/food :)

Came on my birthday to have some dessert and some wine with some friends. The host was not very kind. She was quite snappy and a bit hostile with us. She made sure we knew that there was a very long wait and we were not going to be guaranteed a spot. We then noticed that some employees were sitting at the bar, and asked if the bar would open soon - but told they ll be a while. We had no problem waiting, the host, however, did not create a very welcoming environment for me and my group to want to actually stay and wait for the table.

Great place to wine and have some appetizers with friends. Time goes by so fast when youre here. Such a relaxing atmosphere with a fantastic array of wines to choose from. If unsure of which bottle or glass to have, recommend the wine flight and an appetizer to help you find a new favorite

Absolutely perfect spot, so happy to go each and every time.

Impressive wine list. Menu somewhat limited. Food excellet -- fresh ingredients! If it is cold outside, suggest that you go to the second floor. Met at the door (no waiting) and server was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We shared butternut squash soup which was thick, flavourful and HOT (this is highly desireable). It tasted almost like pumpkin soup. We also shared a bruschetta which was very fresh with red onion, and basil/parsley. Also shared the crab croustini and stuffed pasta. finished with lemon tarts which included a strawberry sorbet which was fantastic. We went up to the second floor as it was cool outside. This provided a great view of Thunderbird Lane outside. Parking: Street parking if you can find it. The store is off Young Road but a parking lot is close by. Limited parking and you have to walk about 5 minutes. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor access and outdoor only

Unbelievable meal! I am gluten free and it is hard to find a restaurant that offers a variety of gluten free. Not only did they have tons of gluten free options, the gluten free was unbelievable. You would never know it was gluten free. The custom wine tasting was fabulous too! Cody was fantastic and knowledgeable! Highly recommend to anyone! Especially the gluten free community!

Parking: District 1881 makes no sense in a community where walkability is almost non existent. Food

Beautiful place! Food was ok but dissapointed in the service. I reserved a birthday table weeks ago for 2 but we were 15 min early. The place was maybe half full n our table they made for us was going to be longer then our reservation time. The main entrance lady that took us to our table reminded us that we only had 1.5 hr at most now with this other table. Found that rude considering there was numerous tables open the whole time we were there.

2nd visit. Sad they had run out of items on the menu and it was only 4:30 pm Our server was delightful The bright chandelier was a tad disturbing? Too bright. Maybe lower it But still a lot of fun and will definitely return Food : 5/5 |

As usual we had walked past this place many times. We went for an afternoon of tasting and some fantastic food. They made up some specific wine flights for us. They were great covering international and BC wines. We will be back as it was a fun but relaxing and laid back place.

In a word FANTASTIC!!!

I planned a retirement party for my co-workers here yesterday. There were 21 of us upstairs. The space was intimate, private, and perfect for our purpose. Everyone was impressed by the service, food and atmosphere. Vanessa was a dream to work with planning it. Cody was an amazing host, he went above and beyond! Thank-you all for making this such a great event. We will be back for our Christmas party this year.

Nice cozy little joint. Service was fast friendly and efficient. So the location and set up I give 4 stars, as the lower level is a bit small but nice in the same breath. However the food ( bruschetta and charcuterie board ) horrible. Being a foodie I have to say by far the worst charcuterie board I have ever tasted. If I made one it home it would not have been half as bad or basic. So not a chance i suggest ordering it as it was a big big disappointment. The bruschetta was ok didn t like it didn t hate it but again would not order it so if drinks is your intention check it out but for the food that I tried never again so disheartened by it I don t think I would go back even for a drink.

Very knowledgeable staff

First time coming here and I didn t make reservations. They were more than happy to seat me at the bar and was I ever in for a treat. The wine flights Cody chose were nothing less than incredible, the food was so good I threatened to go back and kiss the chef. Everything was nothing less than amazing. Just found my new favourite place for dinner and drinks.

What a beautiful addition to the new development in downtown Chilliwack! The food was delicious, the service was great, the wine flight was balanced. Their wine flights are the short cuts to their extensive wine list of 60 something wines. Can t wait to come back!

Food wasnt bad. Service was good. Prices are on the high side for what you get. Tried a flight of wine which tasted great but very pricey.

Amazing place. Service was top notch. Our server took the time to make us feel welcome and helped explain the wine menu and flights. Food was delicious, from the warm olives to the chocolate pave I found my self savoring each bite. Will be sure to stop by again soon and recommend this place to others!

Fortitude Wine Bar is a delightful and refreshing surprise. It is now my favorite place in Chilliwack. The wine selection is very good and improving. I especially liked the warm crab and artichoke crostinis. Check this place out. It is awesome!

Our first time here and the experience was great! We enjoyed the vegetable flat bread, excellent by the way, along with a flight of wine, which included a few selections I had never had the pleasure of tasting before. In fact, I have found a new favorite as a result, a 2018 Amarone from the Tedeschi family. Outstanding.

Dont know what is up with the owner. Blocked me because I private messaged her that all happy hour wine in the area is about $6 and she set her price at $9. Owner does not have a good attitude at all. They know nothing about organic wines, the food is rich and I did not find a wine I liked after numerous visits. Will not be back which apparently was what the owner was going for. Good luck staying in business with that attitude.

Great addition to chilliwack. The space is great. I enjoyed being able to get higher end wines by the glass, but there s plenty of affordable options as well. The Food was excellent and the price point is actually quite a bit lower than I expected based on other reviews. Overall a very fun place to go. I will definitely be back.

Had an amazing first experience at Fortitude! We requested a very last minute reservation for a table of 4 - the lovely staff made certain that they could accommodate us. To start, we ordered two flights of wine. Our waitress explained each wine to us in detail AND added in some very interesting backstories to some of the wines we had ordered - she was very knowledgeable and very pleasant! We also ordered a couple of shareables as well as one of the flatbread options (chef s choice). Everything was incredibly delicious! Overall, the environment was lovely, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the wine and food were top notch. Loved every second of our experience. Would absolutely recommend!

Hubby and I went there for a nice Saturday lunch. The ambiance was wonderful, we really enjoyed the wine selections on our flight and couldn t believe the fantastic wine selections in general. Our food was fantastic so yummy!! Without a doubt we ll be back!

The wine was delicious but the food should be a bit more for the amount of money it costs. We took 2 platters and there was nothing to eat even if it would be for a one person. If you want to have a good meal eat somewhere else as there is not a lot of options, and the portions are very small. 2 Platters for 3 people plus sharable and we went home hungry :( .... But the wine is really good. I do recommend to taste the wine.

Terrible service Felt rushed to leave and was told they were closing 8 times after spending 400 dollars in 1.5 hours It was just coming up to 9 pm and the lights were turned off while we were still dinning They were Annoyed that we wanted our bill split at the end Not to mention some of the wine given to us had gone bad and was spoiled Do not recommend

Lovely little new spot in chilliwack. I had the Gnudi and the flatbread and both were excellent. They re also a deft hand with the cocktails, and made an Old Fashioned I will be using to compare others in the future. Service was attentive and on point. I ll happily eat here again.

Went here for a girls night a little while ago. Everyone enjoyed their food for the most part . Lots of drink options , i enjoyed the non alcoholic Paloma . The atmosphere is beautiful and the server was very kind . I think it s a great new addition to Chilliwack and I like that they have a rotating feature menu .

Renata is very engaging and knows the wine menu very wile and suggested the multitude of all the options of what we all preferred. Definitely a great server to have!

If you are looking for a place to drink and eat delicious in downtown, this is it!, we really like it, it was out first time in chilliwack at district 1881, the restaurant is really well decorated, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, we didn t have reservation but we don t wait to be seated, is a perfect plan for the afternoon and the walk all over the district. Used to LOVE this place. Wine and an appy. Lunch. Perfect. Not so much a fan of entries dinner option. Had a 5pm reso which was not ready. Ordered a bottle of wine but came as 1 glass? Not told that the entries offered were sold out. Veg cold. Moms pork tough. Thought it was a yorkshire pudding! Nope thier schnitzel!? The wine was so good! Mt. Boucherie Pinot Gris. And a PInot Fra nk! Manager did give us a discount on the food but her approaches felt like a brush off and slightly rude. Even with the discount we spent $200! I have worked in the hospitality industry for decades and I would never treat my guests that way. Vanessa...

DO NOT BOTHER WALKING IN AND LEAVING YOUR NAME DOWN. The Asian host will take your name down and say she will call you when ready. I told the host I will be outside and she continued to seat people walking in without reservations if a table was available. Guess I was just unlucky no one was leaving at the exact time I entered. Taking your name down is for fun in her eyes, she clearly doesn t know how to do her job. Completely disrespectful and disgusted with her lack of knowledge.

We were a table of 8. Menu was varied and food delicious. Kudos to the chef. Also a decent list of wines. This restaurant was having it s soft opening that day so they did not have their complete wine menu. Also beer lovers have a choice. Service was outstanding.
