Really enjoyed my stay at Preston,food accommodation &Staff

Breakfast so amazing Wonderful staff. Next time Im meeting the Chefs! Forgot our amazing morning servers name. Ill just call her my hollandaise gal. Lol Tonight was The utmost amazing Meatloaf. Put it this way.. so thought mine was good.. still is But this is waaayyy betters!!! Thank you all I so shouldnt be posting this... I want ya all to ourselves. Muchos Gracias to Ashley Thanks girl, you also made us feel so at home.

This is a great place to dine,service is excellent ,food is great, Ashley our server is awesome, she gives great customer service and she s the reason ,we keep going back to eat there. I highly recommend this spot.

A great place with a great atmosphere. Ashley is fantastic and is the reason that I continue to come back, she gives amazing service and has great personalized attention to detail. The food is also excellent no matter what time of day.

Ashley and Renee are absolutely fantastic, been here enough times they know my drink and food order without skipping a beat, no less are always ever friendly and chatty as youd expect. Id give more than 5 *s but the reviews are lame and dont let me, thanks again ladies.

I tried the burger and my daughter had the Thai chicken. Both were amazing and we had our own candle lit table in this cool geodesic dome/igloo thing outside, overlooking the lake, lit up with cool lights and a little electric fireplace keeping us toasty. Renée was our server, and she was fantastic! Definitely going back. Two thumbs up. Thanks Renée, Ashley and Jen!

The xmas buffet was disgusting. The beef, ham and turkey was way over cooked, tough and tasteless, the salmon was white, Im sorry the food was not even close to OK. Our server was fantastic. Never and I repeat never again!!!

New years eve with only one other table . Service was terrible food was worse . Server never came back . Left a 50 dollar tip anyway as it was New Years on a 150 dollar check . Went back in the am to get a dinner receipt from the night before as our server didnt return to our table . The same server was working the next morning and gave me 1/ 2 dozen excuses why she could not give me a receipt for last nights dinner . I left my email so as not to hold up another party waiting for seating . I made it clear that after she got the mangers PERMISSION to give my receipt to please send it via email . That was Jan 1 2019 it is now Feb 3 2020 . Never going back . Have had better meals at any IHOP or Dennies . -1star .

So I left a very polite review on Prestons fb page . I received a follow up message soon after asking me how they could improve and I shared my thoughts. I realize it their advert on fb and they have the right to remove my disappointment. It was removed right away and I guess I should have known better . They have my cash and that was their goal nevermind the food and drinks . My wife and I had discussed going out since I had been cooped up for quite awhile after surgery. We both do not drink alot but realize that it is a treat to go somewhere at happy hour . We did a search online to try something new and decided on Prestons. Never again . The barely soup was cold and tasteless the clubhouse sandwich was lacking . We ordered a large salad that had 1 baby tomatoe a few onions and a greens and a couple of rings of onion . The wings my wife ordered were not hot but tasted like they just come out of the microwave . As I said in my previous post , I am not one to keep my mouth shut but I did for her sake. I dont do this review thing at all but if you feel you need a great dining experience, I would not recommend this establishment. When the bill came and even though we were there during happy hour , we were charged full price for something that had been advertised as almost half price . I will share one of their adverts and then walk away . Never going back . Cheers .

Great food and service. I go here twice a month and have never had any thing I didnt enjoy. Vegetarian options: They have beyond meat options on the menu.

Best patio in town. The Steakbites have been a staple on their menu for years. I highly recommend them. And they recently added wings! So good. My mom always orders the mushroom ravioli which is a 10/10 and I am obsessed with the grilled chicken burger. Add extra fig jam ;) I eat here so much the servers know me by name.

Food was great as was the Service. Was pleasantly surprised to see they had live music as well. Ill be back!

Food is healthy, decent portions, a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Went to restaurant for our special anniversary dinner and were very disappointed. We found the decor cold and generic looking. One of our meals came incorrect. The order was for Salmon and received a very unappealing dish of grey looking substance between two pieces of toasted white bread. When this was reported to our waitress she apologize as she though we ordered beef. The mistake was dealt with and the correct meal was delivered. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

Breakfast was Delicious I ordered the Vegetarian Medium Eggs Benny. Egg was cooked perfectly

Waitress was great. Charcuterie platter was very nice. Everything else was a disaster. No cocktail menu, but if I told them what I wanted, theyd try and make it. Beef tacos were dry, tortilla and meat were cold. They were off and I was sick for 3 days. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Never going back. Ever.

Food is okay, just basic stuff. What surpried me is that racist waitress is still a thing in 2022. We went for breakfast and the lady is apparently with an attitude, either being racist or bc we didn t get what she recommended, or maybe both. She pretended to not being able to understand my simple questions just because I don t *look like* I speak English. She didn t even look at us or say a single word when serving food, never asked how the food taste or if we need anything else. It s a very uncomfortable experience to eat there with her poor attitude and expression.

Im only giving one star because i cant give less. The Buffet food was horrible and so was the service. Paid my bill and they never even brought me my change. very disappointed.

Two stars for the live music. I understand they have a new chef. I would recommend trying to get the old one back! Salmon was dry and painfully tasteless. Use to be a favorite spot for Thursday evenings. Will be looking for a new spot.0

My wife, who is travelling for work, had a terrible experience at this restaurant. She has been a vegetarian now for more than 20 years and ordered the Cabbage Vegetable Soup, which was the daily featured soup. She took one bite of the soup and immediately knew she was chewing on meat. Calling the waitress back to the table she was told they had given her a soup with beef in it! Absolutely unacceptable and it ruined her night.

Simply put, overpriced. Food is mediocre. Prestons is trying to be more than it is, its not fine dining but their pricing reflect fine dining, wont return.

You should try the $17 braised beef sandwich here. The wonder bread is very chic touch.. The green salad had a wonderful I ve been under the heat lamp wilt to it. Staff friendly though.

View is great and the service was lovely but omg the food was quite terrible. It was bland and I am pretty sure I ate one or two spoilt roasted potatoes. The steak I ordered was so tough and chewy, I ended up sending back 3/4 s of it. This is the first time I went to a restaurant and didn t clear my plate because I typically don t waste food. The meal although plated well, was simply intolerable. Not recommended. Taste - 0/5 Quantity/Quality - 0/5 View and ambience - 5/5 Service - 4/5

Nice scenery

The Caesar salad tasted like a dead mule. The prawns tasted like two dead mules. And the chicken breast was acceptable because it had no flavour at all!

Great atmosphere and okay food (if you like rich pub-type grub), but glacial speed. It took more than an hour to get two burger orders ready.

the Preston burger was easily one of the best burgers Ive ever had, and the wifes Cajun chicken burger portion was the largest chicken sandwich Ive ever seen ! . Great stop, great meal with the wife. Wow

My husband and I enjoy coming here. We live near by. I wish they would change the menu more often. Other than that, no complaints!

Myself and my wife, with 2 friends had Christmas dinner here on Christmas day. We sat in the lounge as the venue was busy. We did not take part in the smogas board but did order off the menu. Food was very good and service was good. We had a very enjoyable evening and will return in the future.

Food took forever to come and portions were SUPER small. We had to eat a second dinner afterwards. Prices are very high for amount of food. Ridiculous that they charge for bread as well. Unimpressed.

We went as part of a large group- reserved 2 weeks in advance. They had a shortage of staff (appeared to have only a single server on for 40+). Food took over 2 hrs to arrive- and was lacklustre at best. Gnocchi was over cooked and glue-like. Nice decor, but food is overpriced for the quality, and service, while pleasant, was overwhelmed. Not the servers fault, but management is clearly out of their depth. Would not go again, even if it were free. (Only gave it one star as that appears to be the minimum. Deserved zero stars.)

Great staff, delicious food. Would recommend here even if you arent staying at the hotel. Steak bites are super good.

We celebrated my wifes birthday with family and friends.The setting was nice but the food wasnt good for me and my wife. We both ordered pan seared halibut. The fish was overcooked and dry. When I mentioned this to the waitress at the end of the meal, she said they were having problems with that. Why didnt she tell me that when I was ordering it. At that time she said it was very good. We have eaten here before and liked it. I dont think well be going back.

Weekday happy hour in their lounge is possibly the best kept secret: great price, good food, excellent service with a lovely view of the pond & park. The patio is awesome on a warm sunny day.

My espresso martini didn t have coffee in it and they just served it to me without explanation. I would have ordered something else. My first two options for dinner (mushroom ravioli and gnocchi) were not available. The ambiance was lacking and the floors needed a vacuum.

It sounds like other reviewers can difficulty with service and food. However, our experience was wonderful. The braised lamb was amazing and well-priced. Wine list was good too. Our server was also very friendly and polite.

The server we had was really nice and did her best to be accommodating, the kitchen staff however I can not say the same about. Our first visit to Prestons we had dinner, I can tell you the plating was absolutely beautiful but unfortunately my food was horrible the potato was burnt and the fish was so over cooked it had zero flavor and resembled over cooked chicken. I was not able to eat it and sent it back, our server was very apologetic and took it off of our bill. Our second try during our visit resulted in the kitchen being out of the steak bites I had wanted so I asked if I could have the thai chicken bites that are listed in the room service menu and not in the restaurant menu. Our server went to ask the kitchen and came back with a yeah they werent happy about that at all and refused. This is horrible customer service and I probably wont go back to eat here again. Its a shame really as we try and come out to Chilliwack ever year for a weekend get away. Thankfully there is a really good Italian place called Paliottis that is a short walk away and which I will give a 5 star review too.

Pricey but pleasant

Bread & Hummus yum. Ahi tuna appetizer, delicious. Roast breast of duck, awesome. Ribeye steak, amazing. Bottle of Malbec, so good. Cheesecake, drizzled with bourbon caramel sauce, sweeeeet! Service was excellent.

Service was good but menu was limited. We had visited a Prestons in Vancouver and had been expecting a similar experience but was let down.

Went for the fathers day BBQ. Great view of the lakes, nice atmosphere.

Nice quiet dining and adequate bar

Each and every time I ve eaten here it has be pleasant and enjoyable the staff clearly are treated well as it shows through out their duty s an absolutely great place to enjoy great food services and environment the minimum standard is exceptional if your in Chilliwack you must stop here for breakfast weather your staying at the hotel or not

Best lamb shank I have eaten!

Beautiful decorations, and the food was phenomenal in taste. A bit on the pricey side but as expected from a restaurant connected to a Coast Hotel. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The waitress even took a family photo for us. Very great place to eat even if you arent staying at the hotel.

Unreal bennys and breakfast items. I was staying at the hotel for a work trip and ending up eating breakfast at this place every morning. Always left full and satisfied.

Amazing food and Service to boot.. me and my fiancé had the valentines dinner special it was so nice my fiancé was on cloud nine he called it happy food he was literally smiling cheek to cheek. Hands down amazing !!. If you are looking for a nice date night I suggest prestons its worth the price.

The food and atmosphere are fantastic.

Food was delicious BUT I ordered a 6oz steak and my friend ordered a 7oz steak and it was significantly smaller, definitely not an oz. I left hungry and dropped almost 30$. #pissed but again it was good food....

Great stakes and very lovely staff

Would have had a good meal but the Caesar salad tasted of fish- anchovies apparently but not as fresh as I am used to. Spoiled it for me and to top it off although the waiter was apologetic he was not allowed to give any sort of discount. All I tasted was fish which made me not want to try anything else so my fault I guess but first time Ive ever run across such an unforgiving manager and Ive dined in many countries. Service was great and rest of my groups meals were fine. I wont be returning.

Great food with great service in a nice place. Had the steak bites and wings. I would order them again and recommend the food to everybody. It takes an incredible putter worldy experience to get a five from me but well done.

Had an absolutely great meal at Prestons! Excellent service, food was delicious from appetizer through to dessert. New York Strip was perfection on a plate, and the Ginger Cake is a must!
