Welcome to Streats Chilliwack Kitchen, located at 7592 Vedder Road, Unit 208. We’re a new addition to your neighbourhood and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the community! At Streats we pride ourselves on the quality of our food. Using fresh ingredients, doing everything from slow cooking beef in house, creating our own sauces, to making salsa from scratch. We are authentically unauthentic, and our unique flavour profiles prove it - we are anything but boring! Serving up Tacos, Burritos, Bowls, Streat Fries and more. the rice in my Burrito was under cooked and crunchy - not pleasant. We generally like this place, but today the floor was coated and so extremely slippery I swear someone accidentally mopped the floor with grease. It was unbearable to be on and incredibley dangerous. This needs to be rectified immediately. It also really smelt like oil in there, I wonder if their fans are working correctly? We had to take our food to go instead of sitting and eating. Disappointed.
This visit wasn't actually for me but my daughter this time. We have both eaten here before and the food is always good. It's no 5 star Michelin so don't expect that. But for street food it's good. If you're looking for a quick burrito, poutine or burger this is somewhere new for you to taste. Plenty of options on the menu. The times I've been it's pretty quiet so if that's what you're looking for then they have it. And service is very polite and quick with your order. I feel their location probably stops more foot traffic from arriving - which I'm sure would pick up their business and atmosphere in a single move. Definitely worth a try. Prices are average for what any of us get for this style of food these days.

Stopped in for the first time to try some tacos and the staff were very friendly. This location is a little run down with the door needing great force to open but the interior appeared clean. I enjoyed the coconut mango shrimp taco the most but I felt the prices were pretty high (3 tacos with no side for $21). I would return if they had some specials but ultimately just too pricey for the amount of food received.

Where to begin!?!? This little location tucked in to the corner of the complex packs a big punch in quality and quantity for the value. I ordered the Baja fish burrito and classic poutine (to go), on a monday afternoon. Right off the hop I saw a fresh piece of fish being battered and dropped in the fryer, as well as what appear to be fresh cut fries. NOT frozen pre packaged from who knows where!! This food's more fresh than the rhymes of Marky Mark and the Funky Buch! Spinning more flavour than Flava Flave Boiiiii!!! Taste was amazing. Place was super clean. Funky little armosphere. Comfy seats. And the two girls working were the nicest, sweetest, most hard working ladies I've ever come across in a quick eats type of place. A MUST GO if you're ever around this end Chilliwack. strEATS does a phenomenal meal! And you didn't just capture my money and my business.... your food captured my heart and satisfied my soul... I SHALL RETURN!!
Food was excellent. However I guess there was an oil spill earlier that day and only had "wet floor" display...so my shoe has oil damage on them 😞 And we were trying to eat with some friends. We got our food but they weren't taking any more orders after us. So our friends just left. So they couldn't accommodate them.
If you are into modern healthy style eating with a kick on your taste buds, this place will definitely be the spot for you to check out. Freshly prepared food ingredients with just the right amount of sauce and spiciness. Very Fast service and nice staffs. The dine in environment is very clean, modern and trendy. Will definitely come back again for many more lunches!
Weekly specials are so worth it. The fish tacos and the fries and fish deals are great, plus great taste. Atmosphere is basic but ok. Mostly take out.

They store the meat in a bucket out of the fridge... disgusting. I walked out. Go to the authentic Mexican restaurants in town..its the same price and you wont risk food poisoning..

Hands downs the best taco shop in Chilliwack and the staff is awesome always on-point and super friendly I guess you could say were regulars, theyve remembered our order every time for over a year!

Stopped in today for takeout. Four of us ordered burritos, and none of us were impressed. $15+ for small, bland buritos loaded with dried out rice. Supposedly pico de gallo on them, but none could be seen or tasted. Buritos are made in the back like a burger at McDs. No customization or choices unless you want to pay even more. No offer of hot sauce, and none seen. Many better choices for Mexican, definitely will not be back.
Tried the smash burger, dont waste your $. The burger was not a smash burger, zero crispy meat. Meat and the bun were super moist almost wet. Came with cheese and a sause that was overpowering. The burger was slightly bigger than a McDonalds McDouble. Very disappointed, staff were pleasant.
Love coming here on Thursdays. They have cheap tacos, very delicious fresh and healthy options. 10/10 recommend.
One of the best taco and poutines in town, mango shrimp is my favorite.
The chicken tacos are very fresh and the Nashville hot fries are sooooo good. We ve been several times and the quality, flavor and freshness have been maintained every visit.

I STILL STAND BY MY REVIEW One star , as the gravey and sauce was minimal on the poutine I ordered and my burrito was mostly cabbage. I ordered a beef burrito , not a cabbage one. Poor quality . For 15 bucks a person Id go elsewhere

The food was great. I had a poutine and it wad pretty solid. It could have used more cheese, but I enjoyed it. Service was pretty good. Place was pretty nice, but the floor was crazy slippery. Overall, would go back again.

Our first experience was great. Our friends recommended it one night when we were gonna hang out and they were getting strEATS. Our experience tonight was poor. We were looking for some takeout for an unplanned late dinner (cuz life happens). We walked in the door (check that I walked in the door, my fiancée didn t even get inside) at 8:45 and were abruptly told We re almost closed. Sooo you re not serving food anymore?! No. What s the point in a takeout place saying they re open until 9 if they re not open til 9? Generally if you re closing at 9, the staff will have plenty of time thereafter to clean the grill and the dishes etc. Very disappointed. We settled for Subway.

So impressed with their customer service! I experience an issue ordering through Skip the Dishes but the issues was quickly resolved. Colin and management went above and beyond to rectify the issue, delivered with their own resources plus added additional items. AMAZING FOOD & Flavours! Will definitely be re-ordering again and again!

My wife and I went here for lunch I got the Buffalo chicken burrito with blue cheese with the poutine and my wife got the shrimp tacos with poutine we both loved the flavours of every bite I would recommend every thinking of going to give it a try

Guy that greeted me was nice and he greeted me and smiled but when he asked a question to woman in the back she looked really mad she didn t smile. Customer service isn t just good food it s what and who you walk into the faces and interaction say a lot. I ve had their food it s really good but that gives me a sour taste not thrilled. Kudos to him 1:00 pm take out service

The food is so fresh and all the flavors literally melt in your mouth. The tacos and Streat Fries are a must try. Would definitely go back again. Vegetarian options: Gluten, Meatless, Vegan and vegetarian options available.
Have visited 5 times now and the food and service is always excellent! Burritos are great, with unique flavours. Poutine is the best! Always hot and fresh, gravy is so good. My son loves the smash burger and ice cream sandwiches. Prices are good too, our go to for a great meal reasonably priced for a family of 4. Definitely recommend.
Got the smash burger figured a double burger for 10 bucks was gonna be alright it was smaller then a McDouble and only had cheese on it one patty was only a half a patty very disappointing
A Chinese guy up front misbehaving while taking order , very rude, did not had a good gesture i was embarrassed as i was with my family, i will never go back and do not recommend this place

Don t go here. You can t even ask for a glass of water with your meal. It s a bottle or a pop. No water jugs. Nothing cold with ice to simply refresh the customer. Bottle water is a waste. Any eating establishment charging these prices that can t even put out some water and cups for dine in have no idea how to make it in the business. Poor choice by the owner to deny the customer the simple courtesy of cups of water with a meal.
Went here tonight for the first time. Saw they had a special on their smash burgers. WORST BURGER OF MY LIFE!!! It was insanely salty. I had to force myself to eat it. I grabbed it on my way to work so I didn t have time to take it back. Definitely won t be going back here again!
Owner I believe came to our business across from us. Gave us some sample food and let me tell you it was amazing!! Can t wait till they open their doors on Monday!!
Came here with my family for their opening today. The food was amazing, very tasty. I was very impressed with the portions, especially the kids quesadilla meal. Will definitely be back. Didnt have time to take a picture as it was delicious.
First time eating here, definitely not. My last time. Had one of their burritos and I will say it was very tasty. The staff was also very friendly.
Came here on opening day and was warmly greeted by the owner, who is surprisingly good looking. The food is fresh and delicious, and they offer very generous portion sizes. We ordered and received our orders in a efficient manner. (Jerk chicken bowl and a Chicken and waffle poutine). 10/10 would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Ordered a couple of burritos, tacos, and a poutine. The tortillas for the tacos and burritos were drier than the desert, the rice and meat lacked flavor; It was like eating food from a poorly funded school cafeteria. The poutine also lacked cheese curds. For a better experience and food, I would reccomend hitting up Fiesta Loca since their burritos, tacos, and chimiganas have flavor and is pretty authentic.

Im very familiar with the taste of Streats, because i always eat in the Abby Branch ,and i think my order today was a bit different, first ,my order is wrong, I ordered regular fries and they give me regular size of poutine. The tacos are lacking flavors , sauce is very little, which make it dry.
Came here for lunch because a lot of the other taco places in town were closed on a Monday. Tried the beef tacos and poutine and was pretty disappointed. Aside from the meat being warm, the taco was loaded with cold wet veggies which caused my take-out box to fill with a pool of water. Not sure Id go back as both the tacos and poutine just lacked a lot of flavour.

My first experience was not great last night. We waited a very long time for our food with only one person in front of us and it came out missing items. We had to have a debate whether our food was wrong with the staff... our bowls had literally a couple spoons of rice in it and our classic poutines had barely any cheese on it. Very disappointing.
Came in today, all staff miserable and rude. No greeting, barley spoke, the person who took our order acted like we were bothering her.
I just found my new favorite restaurant in Chilliwack. Fish and chips was really good . Today my wife had the tropical shrimp bowl and I had a Jamaican jerk chicken bowl . Fantastic highly recommended guaranteeing everyone I will return to try everything on the menu .

Great prices I dont like onion but Im probably the only one in this world that doesnt When i eat shrimps i like to taste the shrimp not just onions. If i wanted to taste onion then i would eat an oinion cause its cheaper than shrimp But hey who am i to say rite.
Very bland. Fries were flavourless. Barely any sauce on my burrito and chicken was dry and overcooked. Was excited to try this place but was so underwhelming.

-2 Stars. Called 45 minutes before close to place a pickup order for near close and was discouraged from ordering as they were already cleaned up. Employee on phone couldnt decide if they were open or closed. The below was my previous 5 star review. Still mostly true. Everything Ive tried has been excellent. The tacos have fresh, crisp, tasty garnish. Every ingredient complements eachother. The bowls have a great difference in texture between the ingredients. Always greeted with a smile and never a poor experience.
Have you ever thought to yourself, man, I d love some fish tacos. And also some poutine on the side ? Well, this is the place for you! the fish tacos HIT THE SPOT. A bit pricey for the amount of food you get, but will definitely be back. I ll have to try the different kinds of poutine next time.

i ate dinner here last night and just wanted to say how amazing my experience was ! i had the fish tacos and my daughter had the chicken strips. the staff were delightful and the food was delicious! you can tell everything is made with love and my daughter is non stop talking about how good it was and when we can go back ! thank you strEATS keep up the good work !!

I am complaining on behalf of the ppl working there Food was good - they don t do anything spice free kid friendly. The two kids working there had no access to their manager/change in the back for the float. I think it s really irresponsible for the management to not leave the float properly for their workers, and they had to use up their own tips to give me change back from my $20 I really felt for them. Management should definitely be more on top of situations like this. The kids working there said there were all alone and the management isn t usually there. *Edited to add I have emailed the management and zero response on their behalf...*
The food was good. But the service poor. No offer for something to drink, after the food was served no one came back to see how I was doing. No thank you when I left.
