The food was good, as we have come to expect at a sushico restaurant. However the service was very poor and the waiter was morose. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Food is good but the service is not welcoming at all and makes me feel like Im bugging him if I ask him for something. Doesnt say anything after you say Thank-you and even ignores you entirely. I would give a 5 star as the food is amazing but the service for me has been poor everything I have been here which is a total of 5 times.

Because after shopping at Walmart, it happened to be dinner time in the evening, and the child wanted to eat Japanese food. When the food was served, he found that each portion was super large, and even the set meals were super large plates. Only then did he realize that he had ordered too much, but they were all delicious. And they are always reminded that some ingredients may be allergic, and they will ask children if they are allergic. The service is very good.

My husband and i have been a loyal customer for couple of years now. Love their service and food. Plus, they have a new team member, it s a robot and it talks. I kept saying Thank you to it! LoL. it will make you feel like you re in Japan. Way too cute!

We had dinner there the other night. Dont get me wrong, the food is always outstanding, the service is so so, waittime can be way way to long. It bothers me that we have never (been there quite a few times) gotten our food together. My husband waits for me but then has to eat his food cold. But now we have discovered that they use a computer now to serve the guests. Really? This robot might be cute to some people, but realistically, it is taking away a job and also does not pay into our pension plans. If all would start using those, we would run out of pension money very quickly in this country. Not cool! Also very unpersonal! Will not be back !

Been going here for years but things have gone downhill. It would be a miracle to get the order right the first time or take less than 20 minutes of telling the fellow who barely speaks what your order is. They usually say 20-25 minutes for pick up then when you arrive after the 25, you ending up waiting another 10-20. To top it off I just watched a robot deliver the food to a table with a self serve sign taped on it. Total fail.

After trying most of the Sushi restaurants in the area, I always come back to SushiCO. I would say at this point I have stopped trying other places just because SushiCO is so consistently amazing. Every time I crave Sushi I know where I am going, and the new robot server makes for a fun experience for all. The food here always is super fresh, and they have a spacious dining room compared to any other Sushi restaurant in Chilliwack I have seen. Presentation - 10/10 Fresh - 10/10 (I would say they have the most fresh tasting seafood in town) Service - 10/10 Take Out - 10/10 (rarely get takeout but always amazing, plus free appetizer over $50) Vegetarian options: They have plenty of options to suit everyones dining needs, the menu is massive! Kid-friendliness: The kids always seem to be obsessed with the robot server that usually brings the food to the table.

Im from out of town. The staff were so courteous and friendly. The chicken udon was to die for, piping hot and a very generous serving. Would definitely go to this place when I come back.

I went there on the weekend and ordered a dinner combo box. Little did I know that I was to get a combo knock out of bad service! When I finally got served, the food was cold as if it was sitting on a counter somewhere.

We order from here everytime we are in town. We order to take out alot. We buy the platters for 60-70 bucks everytime. There are times we eat in but find it annoying that they have some robot thing carrying your tray that you remove yourself unless the server is following behind which if they carried them.selves you would get your food a little faster. I believe in tipping and we want human interaction. But their food is SO GOOD WILL CONTINUE TO GO BACK.

There are many sushi places in Chilliwack and I always eat SushiCo. It has the best balance of cost and quality.

The food and presentation is 10/10, most delicious sushi and tempura Ive had in awhile, and they also have a robot that helps bring your food to you that was such a fun touch! Seemed promising when we walked in to place an order for take out, did some running around and came back within the time frame told to us but ended up having to wait an hour for our food, what was supposed to be hot was cold. Not happy with the service at all

I had not been to Sushi Co. in a number of years; that previous visit was admittedly disappointing. I did go back again previously and oh boy was I surprised at how awesome it was. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The food came fast and was delicious. I am all about the dinner box at sushi restaurant as it includes a bit of everything. For what it is worth, IMHO the beef dinner box at Sushi Co. is the best in town! The tempura was hot and crispy, the Teriyaki beef was succulent. There were four little spring rolls instead of just one. The miso soup had actual chunks of tofu in it. To top it off the food was brought out by a robot assistant server, which was a highlight for the kids. It was a fantastic dining experience and I encourage you to give Sushi Co. a try.

Overpriced

Weve been trying to find a new sushi place since our old favourite changed ownership, and I think weve finally found it. It might seem pricey, but the portion sizes are generous and the quality is top notch for Chilliwack. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. We will definitely be coming back.

Very fast service and good food

Good food, have highchairs for kids, I love the robot waiter who delivers food. Ive eaten here twice and overall had a good time both times! I do think that the atmosphere could be worked on. Its a little chaotic inside, it feels almost like its mid renovation/cleaning.

The food is always late, orders received are usually incorrect, and the atmosphere is very unwelcoming. This place used to be so great, I dont understand why its not anymore. My most recent experience tonight: I ordered online ahead of time. I ordered at 2pm and ordered it to be ready for 4pm. I sat there waiting for half an hour even though I ordered well in advance. I received all my order. Yay. But, I also ended up receiving part of someone elses order. Im sure they are quite sad to be missing out on it. If Im mistaken and it happened to be some type of freebie, they sure did mistake my very non-seafood (vegetarian) order as a seafood-lover lol. Im not vegetarian whatsoever, but I cant stand seafood lol. The smell was so strong I had to toss it out immediately just so I could enjoy what I did pay for. If it was a freebie, I wish they just compd the appetizer I ordered or asked if I wanted a free appetizer. I feel bad for wasting food. As for the unwelcoming part, I noticed others wanting to come in to eat and they are made to order at the front door and then they are sent out of the restaurant until their food is ready. I hope they can get their stuff together soon. These things have been an ongoing issue for quite some time now.

This was our first visit to SushiCo. Our servers were friendly and welcoming and they were able to seat us right away. I was really impressed by the vegetable tempura. The highlight was the cat robot who server our food - unexpected and delightful. We will return.

I have never had to wait so long for sushi in my life. Every single time Ive ordered from here Im waiting 45+mins for food.. but they tell me 20 minutes so I sit in the lobby for half an hour for a couple basic rolls and a miso soup. The food is good, so I tell myself maybe itll be better this time but it never is. Save yourself the headache and skip this place.

I always order takeout from here. I usually get the Washington roll. Today we ate in and I ordered the chefs special roll; SPECTACULAR! I also ordered the salmon teriyaki lunch deal. Good value for sure as it comes with miso soup, salad, assorted tempura, California roll? Gyoza, and a side of rice for $23. They leave the salmon skin on to get it crispy enough to be edible but I prefer my salmon not fully cooked through so maybe I should consider that next time. My wife ordered the Washington roll and gyozas which she is a big fan of. She loved them.

They provided a picture book menu so that you could see what the dish would look like! Very unique. Also had a call button right at the table so you dont have to waive the server down, love the idea! The poke salad was satisfying and generous.

Severely overpriced. Seriously what? $20 for a basic tuna and salmon combo? $3 for steamed rice? Give your head a shake. But, I still went in, hoping these ridiculous prices were worth it. They were not. Large portions of sashimi were nice, but the salmon was off and had to be thrown away. An absolute waste of money. Maybe locating beside a movie theatre is the cause, maybe it s trying to make your very mediocre food seem better by making the restaurant unnecessarily fancy, but there is zero need to double the price. Every other sushi place has better quality fish at half the price. You should be embarrassed.

It has to be the best Japanese restaurant based on the tasteful lease hold design and materials used to build restaurant The usual Japanese restaurant would not have the space and decor that some designer has come up with here. Food is good and has incredible value in the boxes lunch or dinners

Went here for a dine in family dinner with children and husband for fathers day dinner. Food tasted very good and very nice presentation. However we became very sick after eating this food. Do not recommend Will not return here. Food not fresh. Be very careful

This is the one sushi restaurant we go to now. They have black rice and they have never gotten an order wrong. We tend to adjust our orders a lot with replacements (like the black rice) and removals (sauces) and adding things like gluten free soya sauce. Our order always comes perfectly adjusted. We usually do takeout but the service is so friendly, is highly recommend dine in as well.

Friendly atmosphere, food was good and well presented. We will definitely return. Keep it up.

My favorite in Chilliwack

Ordered from here a lot since we moved to Chilliwack and always had a good experience, but I see today that they raised their prices recently and they are really way too high. I cant justify spending that amount of money on even basic rolls; sadly wont be coming back unless prices go down.

I ordered some takeout food for my child, and when we opened it, they had made an error with one of the dishes, and made it spicy. I called them up, and they were great, made a new dish for me and it was waiting for pickup 10min later. Thanks Sushico, mistakes happen but your response was fantastic. The food was really good too.

Sushi: great, especially take out. Service in store was weird. Server couldnt speak or understand English very well, and was clearly very new to the service industry. The seating is absolutely horrible, I was hunched over trying to fit in their booth with my knees up higher than my belly button. Quality of the food is top notch, only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 1.

Dang! Thats the TASTIEST sushi weve had in a looong time. The rice was cooked perfectly, the sauces were delish (just spicey enough) and the prawns were juicy and huge. Yumm!!

Got a uber order which came pretty quickly, ate it right away, and the salmon nigiri had all gone bad but the salmon rolls were fine. On top of that the there was way too much vinegar in the rice. Thank you SushiCo for the diarrhea.

I wish I had pictures but was so eager to try and I am glad I did not waste time because it was refreshingly amazing! Was a nice surprise to taste the pineapple in the cream cheese gyoza and the ebi mayo will keep me coming back and sharing with others! I havent had food like this since lunches in burnaby when I was in school! Definitely will recommend and share with others!

Delicious rolls and japanese/Korean dishes. Highly recommend trying the spicy tuna!! Also props on having the dine-in area open when most other sushi places still have them closed, even though the covid restrictions are lifted. Everything was sanitized and really well cleaned. Good job guys!

Quite a happy find for me. I stopped by only because Highway 1 was backed up on a Sunday night. Food is great, and the safety procedures were very good. Value in the bento boxes for those with the appetite is great!

We went in and were seated, the server was wearing a mask. We received our food, I heard coughing in the background, It was the cooks! 4 of them crammed in behind the counter. Constant coughing , Asked the server why they didn t have masks on, he thought I was referring to the people seated next to us in the booth over and said only for staff. They were the ones that didn t have masks on! The staff behind the counter! We will not be going back!

Food was good, servers were friendly and tried very hard to accommodate. The rolls are very big and difficult to eat unless divided, which is near impossible with chopsticks. Still, a very nice night out. A bit pricy

Unfortunately our experience wasn t great. The rolls are quite expensive because they re large. So large that they are nearly impossible to eat and very messy. They weren t rolled tightly so everything was falling out. Also ordered the tofu teriyaki rice bowl which came with ONE small piece of broccoli and a few pieces of tofu for $14? Place seemed busy though with lots of take out and skip the dishes orders. Maybe it was just a one off. Typically we go to Vedder sushi but wanted to dine in and they are one of the few open for this. $65 and we walked away feeling underwhelmed.

First and foremost, this meal was delivered to me, so I wont comment on a few things as they are out of the restaurants control. This is the only reason they have a two-star rating instead of a one. I was quite disappointed in this bowl. The sauce was tasty, and thankfully the rice was cooked properly, but the eel itself had been so overcooked it tasted like canned salmon. I didnt expect much from this place, but I had hoped I was wrong. Time to continue the search for another place.
