We love Sherry’s! When ever I am back in Chilliwack I try to sneak in for some perogies and cabbage rolls. Everything’s delicious and Sherry is just the sweetest.
Sherry and her crew prepared daily lunches for 20 people, for 1 week of business strategy meetings. Everything was prepared on-time, was delicious and fresh. Her service and attention to detail exceeded expectations!
Ever been to one of those places that should be on an Anthony Bourdain tv special? This place is one is those. Sheet has been making immaculate Ukrainian food for 26 years at this locations - and you could tell. Her food is immaculate. And she is an absolute joy. Make a point of checking this place out. You will not regret it.
This is the real deal for Ukrainian food in the valley. Great friendly service. Best pillowy perogies ever. A must try 👌 you will be back for more.
My first time in this establishment from Winnipeg Canada, what a beautiful little place! I had a beautiful meal and it was fantastic!!!
What a great little place. This isn’t a huge restaurant, rather a quaint little restaurant run by the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals from today. Menu is a fair size, with lots of options. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks sherry for delivering great taste from your families homemade recipes. Brandon
Lovely little hole-in-the-wall spot that serves some delicious cabbage rolls, pierogis and other goodies. The lady that owns and runs the spot is incredibly friendly and provides a genuine and home-y atmosphere that really enhances the food. I’d recommend ‘By Popular Demand’ as it has some of everything and done-in if you can. Whenever I need a warm and comforting meal, this is going to be my spot ❤️
Today was my first visit to Sherry's Carpathian Kitchen, and it was awesome. I use Google voice search for many businesses to check on customer service, and in the case of this restaurant, great food, great service, and great prices. When I asked Google to find me the best homemade food in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, and best Google reviews, it pointed directly to the homemade everything Ukrainian, and more restaurant. I don't know how Google knew that I was craving cabbage rolls, Kolbassa sausage, and pierogis or perogies. The courteous owner, Sherry, took my order for breakfast, even though it was well after lunch. I ordered the pierogis breakfast with all those things I was craving. I noticed a lovely cabbage roll, and remembered my mom's own homemade cabbage rolls, and hat to order one. Delicious pierogis, pan fried with onions. Delicious kolbassa sausage, and last but not least, one yummy cabbage roll. The side dish was homemade coleslaw, and you could taste the freshness. This place is small, however, there is steady traffic, with some orders taken over phone, and eaten inside. I noticed some people on holiday say they had stopped in while on holidays. Sherry comes from a proud, and cultural family. By the way, Sherry also has frozen treats, like cabbage rolls that can be ordered cooked or not cooked. Her treats also include an assortment os sweet pierogis, and other specialty items. I highly recommend Sherry's Carpathian Kitchen whether you are local, or just passing through. Stop in and say hi to Sherry.
Very good and tasty. Highly recommended for a real Ukraine meal.
Very delicious food and Sherry was a very nice owner. Love this place we will come again sometime
Always great service and really good perogies and cabbage rolls! Im addicted! Lol.
Excellent food. Babushka Platter was awesome. Homely atmosphere, service and high quality cooking. A gem of a place.
Sherry s is awesome. My dad took me here and I just love the food!
Loved talking with Sherry about her passion for food, community, and culture in such an intimate restaurant with authentic Ukrainian cuisine.
This is a lovely little owner driven restaurant and caterer. Excellent Ukrainian favorites from hand-me-down recipies. Sherry was super friendly and welcoming.
Small restaurant hidden away. Sherry the owner uses all her mothers recipes, so authentic Ukrainian dishes. Very clean, friendly and sharable plates. Sherry does it all... cooks, serves and cleans.
Yummmmm thank you thank you thank you. I was craving some hand made peroggis and tried some of the cabbage rolls too. That made me so happy. I will be back. Craving satisfied. I want to get some goods for my freezer now.
It was wonderful to taste Sherrys long time family recipes
Very tasty borscht. Parking: Easy to park in front of the restaurant. Food : 5/5 |
Fantastic food. Its a little hard to find as its very small but the food is outstanding. Food
Awesome food, have been looking for the old home cooked food I grew up with and Sherrys did not disappoint. Perogies, cabbage rolls, sausage everything was excellent. Ill be back again for sure.

Delicious food
Tastes just like baba used to make. Sherry is super friendly. Love this place.
The food here is made fresh, and sherry is pleasant to have a conversation with, and the food tastes awesome.Definitely recommend.
Friendly service and excellent food. Sherrys is a one woman show so dont expect the fastest of service if she is really busy but the food certainly is worth any wait and its all homemade. Id definitely recommend this place for genuine old country Ukrainian food with recipes that have been handed down for generations.

Sherry s professional, competent, reliable manner makes it easy, affordable and always a pleasure to plan with her a delicious feast. Thank you so much, Sherry! Again soon!
Sherry is a lovely lady providing ethnic foods reminiscent of what my mom and extended family would make for family gatherings.

BORSCHT IS THE BEST. THATS WHAT I BOUGHT TO TAKE HOME . Plus all the home made chocolate marshmallows squares. Just delicious. Husband loves them .thank you sherry for all the wonderful Ukrainian food..and perogies.
Great taste of Ukrainian food
Amazing everything! Thank you for being so accommodating. Keep up the spirit! Feeling very nourished. See you again soon!
Very delicious and cozy inside the cabbage rolls were amazing and the owner was amazing to talk too.
The perogies are delicious, worth a visit if you are hungry.
Fantastic food.
my husband said each of four types of perogies -one of which was cherry - delicious - AND the cabbage rolls **all of which we took frozen and prepared at home** tasted just like his Baba used to make.
Very nice owner, great sandwich. Have only been there once, but so far so good.
Best place in Chilliwack for pierogies
Great home cooked meals
Amazing food and service. Such a sweet cozy place. The atmosphere was so welcoming and Sherry couldnt have made a better impression or dish!
Sherry is amazing and friendly to all her guests. She matches this with her delicious food and enjoyable place to sit and enjoy a hearty and relaxing meal. Ill be back again very soon
Good food..
Ukrainian and American food. In an unassuming building I found authentic Ukrainian food. The service was excellent. The owner talked about the history of her food and Ukraine in the old days. The Ukrainian food is based on her moms recipes. If you like perogies, cabbage rolls, borsht, sausage. The portions are large the prices are good. Good selection of sandwiches and breakfast items. For me, this will be a must stop in the future.
Just like Grandma used to make. Great flavor good options. Dining area real small but worth every dime.
Sherrys amazing
Shes so nice and friendly. Its always such a Treat to visit
Home cooked perogies, cabbage rolls, and beet borsch with sour cream and sausage. Perfect Mennonite / Ukrainian meal without cooking at home. Friendly service, and clean. Good food, just like my Omas home cooking. Not cheap, but a healthy alternative to the regular restaurants.
This traditional Ukrainian food is very good. The owner is personable. The menus is limited. I eat here whenever Im in the area.
Great Ukrainian and Canadian food. Most all home made on premises. The Ukrainian touches on breakfasts are great.
Had the sampler plate. The sausage rolls, the little pieces of sausage were tasteless and I mean NO flavor. It was heated in a microwave. The cole slaw was not Ukrainian, it came out of a ready prepared commercial plastic bucket. The perogies were not even as good as the ones from Costco. The guy next to me had a soup and salad. His soup of the day was cold. It took almost 15 minutes for it to be returned with the excuse that now it was too hot! Why didnt they nuke it like our order? I will never go back.
Its not cheap but food is amazing
I come from Belarus and I grew up eating Eastern European cuisine... Tasted some food at a Ukrainian festival catered by the restaurant. Cabbage rolls didnt have meat in them, just sweet rice porridge inside. The perogies were from Costco or superstore whipped with soggy onions on top ...Borsch was made from canned or preserved vegetables as the beets were unusually sweet. The plates were sold at $10 that day... they must have made alootta money by shaving costs...
I love her food! Her borscht is great and her cabbage rolls remind me of my babas
Great pierogies!
Has specifically asked for no onions on with the pierogies. There were onions. The clubhouse was good though. Minus the horrifically dry meat.
Sherry the owner, shes Ukrainian and makes the best Borscht. Little bread dough perogys .the best .and the real perogys .everything Ukrainian. The best ..
Not bad for microwave reheat smorg food.
Great place for a nice home cooked meal. But in a restaurant. All local ingredients, all hand made food and baked goods.
We had lunch here last Friday. What a great experience. Had the full meal deal with beet soup and peroghys and cabbage rolls..... just like mom made. Had a great visit with the owner Sherry and found out that she was from Dauphin Manitoba. Bought a whole bunch of peroghys and cabbage rolls to take home. Will be back for more real soon.
We ordered for a large group and everything was left in the oven until we picked it up so the food was still hot when we brought it back. Would definitely come back again.
This is the best little ukrainian kitchen in town.
