Kelly's: Where the Cheers Theme Song Plays 24/7 (But No Norm) If you're looking for a place where everyone knows your name (and probably your life story), Kelly's is the spot! It's like stepping into a cozy, slightly tipsy Hallmark movie, but without the forced sentimentality. The staff is as warm and welcoming as a freshly baked cookie, and the patrons are a quirky mix of locals who'll make you feel like you've been part of the gang since birth. Staff was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. Were seen glaring at customers and whispering to other staff aggressively. Not a kind or caring environment whatsoever.
I’m new to town and happy I discovered this place, great live music and friendly people. Beer is fresh and cold.
Hands down the best pub in Cobourg perhaps even Ontario. Great atmosphere, staff and regulars who always make everyone feel welcome. The name Homelike is very fitting because at Kelly's you're made to feel like you're at home.

Lovely classic old small town Ontario 'hotel'. Great pub food made fresh, reasonable selection of beers. Wine list a bit short but it isn't that kid if place. Comfortable decor, helpful, friendly staff. The owner often behind the bar.

Well.... I'll say it! I've grown quite fond of Kelly's. There!, With that behind us Gord and his staff do an amazing job keeping the pints a flowing! Special shout out to Rachel! Special shout out to the the Spirits. Great spot to check out some local talent and have a cold pint, greeted by friendly hospitality! All there missing is the snacks;) but hey... You can bring your own:), how great is that?
Great after work leisure setting. Trivia nights are awesome. Music on Fridays and Saturdays. Darn good breakfast and lunch too! Friendly staff and environment all around.

Great food and service in this most famous hotel & bar in Cobourg. The walls are completely covered with older NHL autograph photos of players & teams. Several big screen TVs to watch as well. A visit to this establishment is a must whenever you visit Cobourg. Parking: Small lot at the side and behind the hotel with room for 8 vehicles. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from the back entrance to the bar. No access from the front.

Other reviews mention food, went there today and was told they do not serve food. Looks like it would be alright to have some drinks there but again do not go if you are looking for dining.
Staff is very friendly, lots of cold drinks. The band when I was there was great U jimmy.

Overall good service, friendly staff and central location downtown. Definitely receives a lot more hype than it deserves due to the overwhelming amount of college students who go there during holidays. One concern I did notice ( which may have changed since the last time I was there) was that the mens bathroom had only one sink, and it was in the stall with the toilet. Luckily I was the only one in the bathroom, but this doesnt give a lot of incentive for people to wash their hands if multiple people are in the bathroom.
I called in to order and the guy at the front desk said they didn t serve food and hung up on me. Lost business

Kellys is a great neighborhood establishment. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. While the draft selection is light and the food menu is short, this is made up for by its homelike setting. There is live music available many days if the week. Its always a good place to stop into, take a few minutes and enjoy a cold beer.

I dont generally post reviews, but what I just saw at Kellys was actually amazing. It was a quiet night at the bar, I came in to have a beer or two and chill. An elderly patron got up to leave nearing last call, she tripped and fell. Everyone in the bar including staff rushed to her aid. She wasnt hurt at all, so she was helped up. The other patrons and staff helped her to her Walker with genuine concern for her well being. Through conversation she informed everyone that she lived very close. The bar tender (I didnt get his name) then politely asked the lady to wait safety sitting with other people as he cleaned. THEN PULLED HIS PERSONAL CAR AROUND TO DRIVE HER HOME AND ENSURE SHE GOT HOME SAFE. I for one am incredibly impressed with the human decency of the staff, and even the other patrons. It was great to see.
