Ive ordered from drive thru twice, and doordash once. Always expensive, and small portions for pieces of chicken, and salads. I went through these reviews and 99% of them look planted/fake and nothing is actually done with issues youre given an AI generated seeming response.. Id be weary going here.

I recently bought a 37-piece spicy chicken, another 37-piece split between spicy and regular chicken, and a few biscuits. The spicy chicken was delicious, but the regular chicken and biscuits were disappointing. Ive had better-tasting regular chicken in Toronto and Oshawa. I returned to place another order after finishing the initial items and mentioned the unsavory taste to the cashier, Josiah. He handled my feedback exceptionally well, demonstrating a great sales attitude without getting offended.

2 three piece meals c/w drinks, gravy equals 47$. Too expensive for the average family of 4. July 5/24. Tried to buy 2 2piece dinners with slaw. After several attempts to get my order understood, a second person came on and I ordered 2 2 piece dinners again. Got to the beach and we had one order only.

They want to appear as though they are trying to make it right but all they do is ignore you when you contact them. Its been weeks and silence. Definitely wont return and wont recommend Over priced, small portions and everything was stone cold, especially all our taters/wedges. I cant believe how much my family and I spent on this small meal. The kids meal sandwich was four bites and gone. I understand kids portions are smaller but it was ridiculous how tiny it was. Adult meals are overpriced too for what you get but the worst part is getting cold food. The food us also extremely bland. No spice or flavor to it. The restaurant is very cold and not at all appealing to eat in. Not impressed with anything except the friendly guy who served us. Very pleasant man.

Pickup from this Mary Browns location on a weekly basis. Staff here are the best. Pretty much have my order memorized and process down to a system. Almost always very big order and always get it perfect and a timely manner, even during a rush. 10/10 location.

Id first like to say I am a chicken connoisseur. i have had chicken fingers from all over Canada and America from hundreds of restaurants. Very rarely do I write reviews but this one needed it. My god were these some of the worst chicken fingers I have ever had the displeasure of eating. Firstly flavour wise they were bland there was no seasoning and no flavor. Secondly something has to be wrong with your deep-fryer because the breading didnt even bother trying to stick to the chicken, it was like oil and water. Thirdly the chicken itself was stringy and somehow managed to stick and get in between my teeth. This is probably the lowest Ive ever rated chicken fingers I give them a 3 out of 10. Id rather buy frozen ones.

Used to be fast and attentive service, still great chicken! Monday Marys for $5 cant beat it. They need to stop skimping on staff at the customers expense

Visited on Sunday April 21st between 8:00 and 8:30 and the staff was an all star team! They had both drive through and lobby customers getting served with the utmost respect and attention! They made sure our food was hot and delicious! Thankful for our visit. Parking: Parked right in front of store.

Came in today. I was really impressed, very clean, very polite workers and the food was fresh and hot. The guy at the front counter was very friendly and helpful. You wait a little longer than some places, but I think because they are cooking it fresh so its worth it.

(EDITED MAR. 9, 2024) Since I have posted this review, Wait times have decreased significantly, the staff are still just as dedicated and the food... Is still Mary Browns chicken. Have always enjoyed Mary Browns, food has been consistently good across every chain Ive been too. I suspect the Cobourg location is currently understaffed at the moment which has led to longer wait times and a general feeling of unpreparedness due to the influx of new customers. (Last time I was in there they were telling customers that there was a 20 minute wait on chicken, saw a lot of frustrated people walk out that door.) Otherwise, the current staff seem very friendly, dedicated and hardworking. Of course Im gonna eat there again.

13 Piece Feast was fabulous and Strawberry cream cheese pie was out of this world in taste. Was quite a good experience after such a long time.

Service is a little slow but I have never had any issues with food or customer service. When they had power issues they offered me a coupon just for coming to the location. Big Mary Monday is perfect for lunch

The food was not good. It was lukewarm. It was a 45 minute wait. Would have thought the food would have been hot. Not lukewarm. The fries were just warm. It was horrible. Will never go back.

We ordered two spicy Mary sandwiches and they were both perfect and made quickly. All our food was still warm after a 15 minute drive and the workers were very friendly with conversation while we waited!

My husband and I both got food poisoning from here. We emailed corporate and no response. Also the kitchen is disgusting. You can see it from the drive thru window while you wait for your food and there s bread, chicken, food all over the floor. It s gross

Chicken is way over cooked. A 3 piece meal includes a wing thigh and breast. The wing was crispy to the bone. My wedge fries were cold.

A much better experience here than the one in Hamilton that I previously reviewed. The Big Mary sandwich was perfect! I asked for extra pickles and I wasnt disappointed, lol.

The slowest Mary browns ever, sat in drive-thru for almost 10 minutes before being served no cars infront or behind and this will be the 3rd time waiting this long I won t be returning

One of the cooks needs a lesson on food safety. Preparing our food while on the phone. Never once took his gloves off or washed his hands, just dirty phone germs all over our food.
