This particular Tim Hortons, I'll never not see someone smiling. Welcoming environment, friendly staff, very clean, the all-around best Timmy's in Northumberland!
It is not very clean, from the bathrooms to the counters behind the cash, and I wish they would take more pride in fresh food. My bowl had soggy lettuce, way to overdone sticky rice, and it was swimming in the sauce. not worth $1 never mind $9. Sad thing is I now had a gross lunch. Lesson learned. I'll do Subway next time.
The young man I had today (sept 22 at 9:35am) at the cash was very respectful, helpful and kind.
Stopped here the other day as I had been to the Tim’s in colborne and my order had been made wrong but wasn’t able to go back as I was driving someone to work. I had ordered two iced Capps and they had been made with chocolate milk instead of cream for some reason. This Tim Hortons told me they could only remake one since I bought them at a different location which is not true. I was a manager at a tims less than 2 years ago and they are supposed to replace everything as long as it’s still full (obviously excluding a few swigs or a couple bites) but they refused. I had to pay for the second drink (meaning 3 total since I had already paid for the two I was trying to have replaced) because the ones I got from colborne tasted terrible. This Tim’s has ALWAYS been bad, but this just sealed the deal for me not going back there.
All of the bakery items, that used to be actually baked, are now frozen food items that they microwave/reheat. Half the time you can't get service in fluent English when you go through the drive thru. Generally unclean, unsightly, and not what it used to be. Disappointment upon revisiting a decade later.
I visited there last week! This is another worst TIMs ever seen! Service is too poor. I had to wait almost like 22 minutes. I don’t know what they were doing inside, just coming and going coming and going and keeping us wait for no reason wasted my time kids were so much disappointed and they gave us wrong food. I had to go back and return, my coffee and other item. I go to Coburg again. I will never go to this TIMs anymore.
I ate here twice in the last week. I just wanted to make sure the service was a fluke before reviewing. It wasn’t. The first time I went there we ordered and it took twenty minutes to get our order. This wasn’t because they were busy. They had given me the wrong drink and I asked them to remake it and fifteen minutes later I then got my food and drink. They explained that they had accidentally given my drink to drive thru and they took the food as well so they had to remake it. The food was good. Well made. We sat it the dining area, which was nice. The second time I tried to order breakfast but they wouldn’t serve it because it was after breakfast. Personally I didn’t realize that there was an end of breakfast at Tim Hortons, but that was my mistake. The food was good, however there was slight confusion that could have been avoided by communication from the servers. They would just set the orders at the end of the counter without saying what they were. Anyone could have walked up and taken our food because of the lack of communication with customers. Even a simple “chicken bacon ranch wrap” would have been sufficient. This was quite comical because the same girl who wasn’t communicating with customers yelled at another employee about how he was a big boy and needed to communicate properly. I felt like this ‘food maker’ needed to work on her own communication skillset before criticizing another’s. Overall food was decent but the service left something to be desired.

Painfully slow, inaccurate service by clearly dispassionate and uncaring (sometimes rude with backtalk) staff. ***The free wifi has NOT worked in over a literal THREE months - there is no internet connection and the store is located in a cellular dead zone so using the cell is impossible. Please fix this or explain the disconnect. Cobourg has several other locations and I strongly suggest going to them instead of this specific location.

No soap No toilet paper
Restrooms were disgusting. Door did not lock, no toilet paper. Got toilet paper from other stall, paper all over soaked floor.
i ordered spinach and egg bites and they give me bacon and then i ask for change they said no you touch it we cant change it

Was very discussed at the way it was ran. Sunday Feb 11/24 the younger kids were discussing very vulgar topics , customers were left waiting till they finally noticed people were there, the bathroom was very gross. Sad how it has gone down hill use to be one of the better spots to go

ordered a habenaro chicken bowl today and all i got was some lettuce and chicken i think they should give this kids better training to check the table infront of them before taking the order. terrible service..
Today we went to grab some soup/lunch due to no power at home. The car ahead of us blocked the drive through just ahead of us, checked the doors of Tim Hortons and they were unlocked. A sign stated that they were closing and to go to Elgin St Tim Hortons which also had no power. My husband and I went in as the doors were unlocked. Stood waiting for someone to take our order. We were ignored until I asked about the Elgin St Tim s, if it had power now-as per the sign. Someone behind the counter said something to another worker and then we heard, just take their order then I understand that they were closing, all that had to be said was, sorry we are closing due to the storm. Very poor customer service
Their app took my money when their store wasn t open and they re was nobody to get a refund from. And another time it double charged me and they refused to help. This is just outright theft; Tim s are criminal.
I dont go here very often due to the nightmare parking lot and the horrible entrances and exits.
Disappointed in the disorganization of this location. 8 people on the floor with one person actually doing anything. Made my drink promptly but then I waited for 15min for a wrap when the location had no other customers.

Went through drive through, was given the wrong drink. Went in, was replaced with correct one, other was taken in the direction of the drivethru window. Made it home, realized my Tim Bits were wrong. Drove back, and the employee put the tim bits I had brought back IN THE DISPLAY CASE WITH THE REST. After which the employee told me rather irritatedly maybe you should check your orders in the future before driving off, and myself and another customer had to tell him he should throw those away which he seemed to reluctantly do as I was leaving. Do not go to this Tim Hortons, even if they get your order correct they have a blatant disregard for food safety.
I have been to this Tim Hortons few times. Worst drinks. The coffee is never fresh. I ordered jalepeno pastry it was not baked. First time I thought it was a mistake. I got same pastry again the second time. The jalepeno pastry here feels like it is just heated in the microwave and not baked. Looks and tastes soo different from other Tim hortons.

We have a very disturbing experience just earlier with the male crew of this store. Still 7 minutes before its closing time, the crew just turn off the light were we sit without even warning or saying something. It was such disrespect for us customer. Were in 2 tables, 11 people in total quietly talking still drinking the coffee. And just to let you know that these are 99% seniors came from restaurant and decided to have some coffee before heading home. And we are aware that it closes 10PM. I went to talk to the crew asking why he turn it off without even warning. He said sorry and said he will turn on the lights again but he never did. He never came out and just stayed in the back kitchen. There were 4 teenage kids, - 2 boys and 2 girls that are friend with that crew that are looking and laughing while were sitting in darkness. They kept looking and laughing at us until we exit the backdoor. This is very discriminatory acts of disrepctful people. This is all about manners and respect. This happens May 12, 2023 around 9:53PM.
Its tim hortons what do you expect ... coffee tasting off lately not sure whats going on there
Im a regular at this Tims for about 15 years now. Im in sometimes 4 times a day always for just a coffee. 1000s of coffees. I walked up today, about a half hour. The woman behind cash knows me well and was already making my coffee as I walked up. I realized I didnt have my wallet on me and told her Id have to go home to get it. She said shed put the coffee aside until I got back. I told her I live 30 mins away. She said thats okay. Shed rather toss it than say pay me next time your in (later today). I dont even collect points and get my free ones. Just wow. Guess Im a Starbucks drinker now.

Out of town stores I find are always cleaner and quicker than Toronto stores . I find out of town stores the workers are happier with usually it shows in their work cleaner stores cleaner washrooms . More incline to help you further for upsells . I just find that the employee is more happy to be there were in the city I find every one is passed off about something and they act like the hate there job and dont want to be there . And then the store shows dirty washrooms floors ect. This country store is a great example of the things that make a great store .

Never had in issue here in years, of course no that Ive said that, but overall they do alright, some times there out of stuff and dont remake pretty early in the day but meh Ill give 5 star

My partner went to timmies on William street tonight larger order of coffees and a bagel with cream cheese ended up with an extra coffee and bagel with no cream cheese if you are reading this do better timmies peeps sad when you cant listen to a simple order. Definitely wont be back to this location.
I passed by Coburg a couple weeks ago and stopped for a quick dine in from the road trip. The staff were friendly and quick with placing as well as filling out the order during the time I stopped. The place was cleaned except for one table another customer decided to leave dirty. Food was properly stored. Great location to view the countryside of Coburg as there is an amazing forest across the street from the main road.

It was very Tim Horton like. Average coffee and bad food. I find most Tim Horton locations now cater to the drive-thru only. The service is extremely slow if you go into the store.

One star because 0 isnt an option. Decided to give this location another chance wow what a mistake didnt surprise me either they have a listening problem or dont know how to read or the manager enjoys stealing from customers which is stealing from corporate. Do better corporate. Avoid this location and Elgin terrible management no wonder they are Tim hortons managers.
Stopped at this Tim s to pick up a coffee today. What a surprise. Service was very slow and while waiting I noticed the counters, backsplash and floor were filthy. If I hadn t already paid I would have left without it. This is the Tim s I have frequented for years and I have never before seen it like this. It was my go to place for lunch but I have not been in awhile and I won t be back for awhile. I will try a different one.

The problem with this restaurant is that the workers don t check the food orders to make sure they have given the correct amount of food and the correct food. Other than that I don t mind paying more money for my senior coffees.

I was visiting a friend in Cobourg and was a little early, so I thought I would grab myself a coffee and a little treat. The staff were friendly, the coffee was good, and the treat was delicious. The general seating area was very clean, as was the washroom. All in all, a great place to have a quick stop.
This Tims location is clean and the employees are very friendly. The food and coffee is fresh and prepared correctly.
Only two tables available at this time due to COVID.
The lady who was helping us with our order was very nice. Will recommend!

Wish I could give 0 stars. TWICE NOW the girls at the drive thru havent given me my change when I give them $5 for a medium ice capp which is $3.15. I know its not the end of the world but its super annoying when I sit there waiting for it and they refuse to open the window back up to even acknowledge that Im still sitting there waiting. And we went at 7:45pm....no one in the store or drive thru, they werent busy. I just want them to do better. It sucks feeling like Im being scammed.

OMG this Tim s really frustrated me today. Just wanted a quick coffee on my way Eastbound on the 401. The sign told me there s a Tims at the exit in Couberg. Once I got off the 401 the sign tells me it was 2 Kms away and a few red lights. I was pot committed by then so kept going. Once I got there the line was incredibly slow. Overall, a quick Tim s stop turned into a 25 minute delay in my trip.
Friendly staff that acknowledged me the moment I walked to the counter. Unfortunately I didnt get my server name too bad as the nicest server I had at a Timmies.

Worse is the kindest word for staff here. They dont know what they doing and dont understand what customer asks for. They have given atleast 5 wrong orders in front of me including myself and argues with everyone who points their mistake. Such arrogant and rude people who shouts on customers. The lady looking after our order was extremely rude and handled our food in very wrong way. Never ever go here. There are better options available near by. I wish I could rate them in negative!!!
DO NOT GO HERE! They dont understand what you order and what they deliver. Being a pure vegetarian we ordered veg wrap and reassured that they will give veg without mixing up with chicken n stuff. But they gave chicken wrap and when we confronted they behaved very rude and started shouting. Mannerless rude staff who dont understand allergies or religious reasons. I wish I could rate them negative coz of their unorganised way and rude behaviour. Worse Tim i have ever been to!!!
Terrible! After asking ingredients in the Tim loaded books I got answers from a very helpful cashier guy. I have Celiac disease so I ordered the shredded chicken without crispy onions. Got the food after 10 min, sat down to find the crispy chicken was added. I requested no floured items. Took it back, got corrected quickly. It was good. Also, out of iced coffee. Filthy floors, counters, dust on computer arms hanging over food area. Very worm booth seats. Bathroom was not attended to. Dietary restrictions: They need to pay attention to what you order. The bowls are good, just ask questions they are made fresh.

Absolutely filthy. Looks like nothing has been wiped down in months. This includes the seating areas, serving counters, as well as the food prep areas. Food smeared to the glass in the prep areas, toasting grill covered in dried up food and sauces. To top it off my breakfast sandwich was covered in unknown crumbs with a long hair stuck into the melted cheese. Shut this place down!

I have given this location benefit of doubt time and time again yet they ALWAYS mess up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME. At some point it just becomes disrespectful of a customers time and money. Every time I go I order 2 drinks both Steep tea s. I watch the screen come up with the correct order and then usually 1 of them is a coffee and the other is a steep tea (usually has milk instead or cream I even specify when ordering what I want in it) But tonight a young miserable girl with absolutely no customer service skills hands me my drinks and I m none the wiser, get home just to take a sip of coffee not only did they mess up 1 but they messed up both drinks. Frustrated I go back and ask for a refund and the supervisor has no sympathy whatsoever. Great customer service :) I have never made a big deal about my order being wrong before but this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks and I ve only gone 3 times. I highly recommend driving the extra 3 minutes to one of the other locations in Cobourg unless you enjoy wasting your time and money.
Took 15 mins just to get a sandwich & 2 drinks. I was completely ignored twice by 2 csrs when i tried asking how much longer my sandwich will take. On top of that I found 1 strand of what looked like a grey hair. One of the worst Tim Hortons I ve ever been to.
Always love Tim Hortons. Consistent with their tasty product. But I am annoyed with them for removing that donut with raisons, cant remember the name and for shrinking all donuts over past few years.. And now into winter when I can have wonderful yummy HOT CHOCOLATE !!
This rating is on the drive thru service only! The woman serving us was fabulous. She treated us like she wasnt in a hurry to money grab and send on our way!! I wish I knew her name to be more specific. Way to go Tims!!!!
Ive been a regular at this store for 20 years and never left a review, Im tired of the evening shift having a bunch of employees not paying attention to their jobs. My coffee has been made wrong multiple times and I said nothing but the unprofessionalism in the 4 workers including the supervisor was just as bad. Talking to customers in the drive-thru? I waited a good 5 minutes before I had to yell saying hey guys, front counter their were afew workers who intentionally looked at the floor to avoid looking at the inside of the store. Tonights staff was so unprofessional I had to say something! Hows about hiring someone with babysitting experience maybe people will be more inclined to entering the store after 5pm, and the job will be taken seriously!

It would be really nice if the hours listed online actually applied to the dine-in hours, or if they specifed the dine-in hours separately, because as someone who doesnt drive, Im getting really frustrated with walking up to locked doors. Ive never seen any signs, or any mention online, that the dine-in hours are different from whats listed. I understand if they can have the drive thru open longer, but at least have a common courtesy to say so. This has happened to me on multiple occasions now, both in the mornings and evenings.

While I am happy you can open, it would be nice if you actually followed the Covid rules. You are only suppose to have 4 people per table, quit letting your customers pack 6 and 7 people per table. You are putting people at risk, especially the seniors that frequent your establishment.

Quality up to paras expected, fresh donuts. Service was slow as only one person on walk-ins and rest on drive through. seems a shame as I try to reduce emissions by NOT using drive through as often as possible.

Miserable staff, everytime I go through.
Terrible, terrible service. I tried to avoid the drive through line and went in. My order was a tea and a coffee, simple as that. The lady that got my order (I think she was a manager because she had a radio on) simply started getting the drive through orders and ignored me. Another girl (very nice btw) noticed and told me that the cream was being changed. Just a little communication from the lady that got my order would be greatly appreciated.

Extremely busy drive through but expertly handled just like a ballroom dance! The very, very long lines(2 of them) move quickly; the order was correct & food & coffees were hot.

Much quicker to just go to the mcdonalds next door. The drive-thru line isnt actually long enough to contain the normal drive-thru traffic, which means a confusing line forms in the parking lot that blocks traffic for nearby businesses. This Tims actually makes everything around it worse. Ive been sitting here in the drive-thru for over 20 mins. Im still waiting as I write this review and my order hasnt even been taken yet. I am trapped here as a prisoner. Why didnt I just go to mcdonalds?
Best coffee place in the town
This Tim Hortons is always efficient and clean. Safe are very respectful and kind.
The workers were very rude and pushy for us to get out of the restaurant. Elsa was forceful and tried to make my friends leave when they had not even gotten their food yet. Not to mention it took forever for the workers to make the sandwiches for us. If they wanted us to leave so badly, they should have made our food faster.

Asked to a girl (working at drive thru order take) for a cup of water... she said i am working on drive thru cant help.... m also working at Tim HORTONSs in port hope but never said to customers at front that m working at drive thru cant help you.....

Only one counter open and the drive thru is in a loop setup so you cant get out easily once you are parked.
