Our new found favorite breakfast stop. Thr lady that works mornings is absolutely amazing!

Or 1st choice was not available due to missing ingredients (we wanted slovaki) or second choice was excellent. We will be back! Im actually going back to try there breakfast Went back for breakfast may 18th. What a disappointment breakfast was overpriced and was tasteless coffee over $3 a cup for the lousiest coffee Ive had. Very Very disapointed.will not be back. Decided to try again Nov 28th the breakfast special Food and service were excellent

The surf n turf was excellent. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly, even changed the tv station to cartoons for my son.

It is our favourite place in the Cobourg area for breakfast/lunch meal. Everything is rated 5 stars for me. Only think of positive details for all categories. Parking: Large lot. Various other businesses in this strip mall. Kid-friendliness: Families are welcomed here. As are large groups.

Our first time here and definitely will be back. I had the BEST burger I have ever had at a restaurant. Absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is very relaxing. Cant wait to try their breakfast next time we are in town.

I enjoyed a three egg breakfast with bacon, toast, hashbrowns and coffee for $5.99. The meal was excellent, staff was wonderful and you cant beat the price!

Ordered a vegetable omelet which was excellent. The server was very nice. I asked for tomato instead of potatoes but was informed there was an extra charge. Found breakfast expensive but I will return. It s my treat while having my puppy groomed!!

Dimitris is my favorite restaurant in Cobourg. I love there Grand Slam breakfast and the Clubhouse sandwich. Service is always amazing.

Food was slop, staff was mean, drinks were gross, sauce was vile, they forgot parts of the orders, meals tasted like expired grease, had to get orders redone multiple times, but grandma is happy.

Great to eat outside

If I could rate 1/2 a star I would. We went to dinner here and the food was just awful! No one in the place should have been a big red flag for us but we thought wed try it out. The food was soggy, sloppy and the taste was really disgusting. We were told that the food was going to be made fresh... it clearly was not. We had the chicken souvlaki. The chicken looked grey and the seasoning was on it so thick, the chicken texture was like that cheap, gross mechanically separated chicken you find in frozen food. The potatoes were drenched in some sort of lemon juice after the wait staff explained the potatoes are double roasted and does not taste lemony like traditional greek roasted potatoes. Neither of us ate our supper that evening. Needless to say we will not ever go back. Awful. Very yucky.

The halibut and chips was fantastic. The fresh made to order batter was outstanding and gave the fish the perfect touch and perfect crunch. Breakfasts are always good. We love this place.

Great food had a special Fish tacos, they were great. Perfectly cooked fish corn and pickled onions.

Five of us went there on Friday. Three of us ordered the fisherman s platter which comes with shrimp, scallops and fish and fries. One person got one scallop another got two. We asked if we could switch fries for another side, then found out it was a 6$ up charge. All in all pretty lousy considering a deep fried dinner was 30$ Parking: Lots of parking maybe because there was so few customers

I come here very Often and the service is excellent. I usually have the Chicken soulvaki and a Virgin ceasar.

Amazing environment, great service and great food

We had a great lunch today and between 6 of us we ordered an assortment of food. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were hot and fresh and served served with a smile! Thanks Kelly! Dimitris has been a family get too place for many years.

Ordered take out for the first time and the bags felt really light so we checked them. Of the souvlaki dinner there was about 1 cup of rice and literally 1 cup of Greek salad along with 2 skewers of meat that looked dry this cost $20. We also ordered a side of Greek potatoes which came as 4 small wedges that cost $7. I never return food but felt completely ripped off and did ask for a refund. Beware when ordering take out from here!

Very dated food. Menu reads and appeals to, with respect, senior citizens who prefer underspiced and bland vintage fair. As example, the Greek Salad was drenched in oil. The balance of the very simplistic dinner order was delivered after a very long wait (despite there were only three parties) by obviously bored and uncaring servers. A disappointment and definitely not worth another chance.

We love having our breakfast here every Sunday. The cook always has my eggs just perfect.and the potatoe home fries are awesome.

This is my grandmothers go-to breakfast spot and for good reason, the staff is lovely and the pancakes are crazy good.

Service was great but we werent impressed. Greek platter wasnt very good especially what seemed to be deep fried potato wedges (dry and flavourless) when we were looking forward to roast potatoes. Souvlaki was just ok. They gouged us for salad upcharges and extra tzatziki so an average meal became stupid expensive. In fairness, one person in our party really liked their chicken pot pie. Perhaps we just picked the wrong dish...

The food is always good- luv the grilled potatoes! Staff are always great. It s time though to remove the Christmas decorations from the outside front door and the crumpled fence signs. It makes the place look unkept.

We have not been here in years used to take kids years ago we were there at 2:10pm it closes at 3 pm were told had to be out by 3 pm which was fine food was fast and good, did feel extremely rushed but we we done by 2:50 pm and out the door would return.

Dont eat here. Absolutely terrible restaurant. Had dinner tonight, there were only a couple other tables and it took over 30 minutes. The prices were absolutely ridiculous. Tiny portions, huge prices. I got the liver. One tiny piece of meat, over cooked bacon, fake mashed potatoes. My vegetables were tasty but undercooked. The shrimp penne my daughter ordered came in the form of spaghetti. Had 7 small shrimp in it, with the tails still attached. We werent told the price of the special until we paid. To our horror it was $29.99. For a cup of spaghetti with 7 small shrimp. Absolutely would not recommend unless you like throwing money away.

If you order one of their specials, make sure you ask the price ahead of time or theyll charge you an arm and a leg. My daughter took her mother out for supper. She ordered the special. It was mediocre at best. They charged her $29.99. More expensive than almost every other item on their menu. My daughter is a young working woman. Shell need to work 4 hours, to pay for their dinner. The owner should be ashamed of himself taking advantage the way he did. Id recommend anywhere else in Cobourg for dinner.

Nice restaurant. My meal was the schnitzel special. Loads of mashed potatoes covered by a schnitzel and mushroom gravy. Very few vegetables compared to the mound of potatoes. Everything tasted good.

Absolutely fantastic. Treated myself to a birthday dinner here, will definitely keep it in mind for the next special occassion. According to the waitress everything is made from scratch and fresh to order. I believe it - I felt like I could taste the difference. This also means they can accomodate any allergies or omissions you may need to make which I greatly appreciate. Other reviews seem to note the time it takes to cook but honestly I did not find the wait that long, even on a busy night - just the amount of time it takes to make things fresh. I spent about an hour here for appetizer, entree, and desert. I had the garlic bread, 10 oz steak, and cherry cheesecake. I was impressed by the steak in particular. If youre like me and prefer your steak rare you may have noticed most restaurants serve it at least medium, but here it was actually rare. The Greek salad was also very good - it tasted like they used a nice feta cheese and a homemade vinaigrette. The cheesecake came with what was clearly homemade whipped cream, like they had whipped some heavy cream just then. Would give this place 10 out of 5 if I could. Dietary restrictions: Everything made to order, very accomodating about omitting certain ingredients or making changes to a dish

Awesome food! Make sure you are hungry when u go there. Large portions. Decent pricing. Very comfortable and wonderful staff! Highly recomend!

Me and my girlfriends parents went to this lovely restaurant a week ago, and it couldnt of been any better. The food was absolutely amazing, we all ordered the breakfast. Classic English style breakfast with all the fixings. Our server Claire aka yorkshire spice, was super nice and was amazing to talk to. Would suggest this place to anyone I know. Also if ask for a photo Claire will always step in for one. Cheers guys! Xx

Me and my family have been traveling a lot for 4 days and seriously it was the best restaurant and by far everything was excellent my steak the hamburger steak for my boyfriend was excellent the chicken and steak raps to die for it was so good and what can I say poutine and onion rings wow seriously its like eating at home Thank you nothing negative to say excellent service despite my Quebec English very good eating I recommend it

We ve been here twice and we will make it as our family tradition to eat here. My girls always ask me to drive there for close to an hour to get here. We are looked after very well and Clare is fantastic, awesome, lovely and very lively. The food, dessert are soooooo good. Thank you. Please come to visit this place and I ll recommend this restaurant more than a hundred percent.

Its okay, service was really friendly and nice. I got the souvlaki but it was really dry and didnt come with Greek potatoes, rice was similar to uncle Bens. Not up to snuff to a place that advertises themselves as an authentic Greek food place in my opinion. Deep fried cheesecake was really good though.

The food was good, The woman serving was very friendly. Looks like they tried to cram a restaurant and bar into small space. They should of gone for a little more square footage. Of course they may be just going for the breakfast and lunch crowd. Otherwise I would eat there again Cheers!

The service was great, very friendly server ,we felt relaxed..the bathroom could use a little more care, the cheap pink liquid soap has an institutional vibe. The chicken souvlaki tastes great but small portions as was the Greek salad side made with iceberg instead of romaine, 1 olive, and too many green peppers and onions. The rice tastes like uncle Bens with over cooked mixed frozen veggies. The tzatziki sauce came in a paper Dixie cup. I left still hungry. Disappointed for the price of over 14.00.

we have been in Cobourg for just over a year now and finally went to dimitris for supper friday the 15th, its a lovely place with comfy seating and nice lighting, very clean aand neat, the waitress are lovely friendly girls who answered all our questions and we had great service from them, i had the chickken pot pie and myhusband had souvlaki and salad, all was exxcelling including the desserts! we will go again soon, thank you to all.

Wish we hadnt waited so long to go to Dimitris for dinner. One of the best Chicken Parmesan dinners Ive ever had! My husband had the spaghetti and was very happy with his large portion, sauce was homemade and very good. Lots of spaghetti with the Chicken Parmesan too. Excellent service and food. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The food is usually very good but once in awhile Ive had something I didnt like much. Their burgers and fries are awesome. Their chicken caesar wrap is good and so is the Rueben sandwich. The prices are pretty good.

my husband and I came here for a later breakfast today...we both enjoyed our meals everything tasted very fresh and portions were decent..the only thing my husband wasn t too fond of was the pancake that came with his grand slam meal....we both really liked our waitress Maria she was super nice and very accommodating.
