Staff was very accommodating and friendly

Got a burrito bowl that was very underwhelming. Rice, veggies and meat were all very bland. Hardly any spice or salt in the dish. Rice was overcooked. Guac was decent and service was good. For an $19 burrito I am extremely disappointed.

I m not usually the one to leave reviews, because I also understand that people can have bad days! But this has happened multiple times now to me and my boyfriend, the tall girl with light eyes just seems miserable the first time we got served with her she was so completely rude to us, we came in within 45 mins of closing and she just gave us some much attitude we even offered to leave, and we left with a crunchy brown rice! This time we came in everything seemed fine until we went to pay and my bf asked for a drink and she rolled her eyes at us it s very upsetting! I ready other reviews saying she was spoke to already, but this hasn t changed. I hope this issue can be fixed, we love mucho burrito but we will not be coming in if she will be serving us! And btw we spent 35$ on a burrito bowl and a burrito with a drink just to leave with crunchy rice stuck to our teeth! & sore teeth!

This place is my favourite stop on the long haul between Montreal and Toronto. Terrific food and lovely staff.

The food is about what you would expect for fast tex mex food. The staff here are amazing though, always friendly and attentive. Vegetarian options: Both vegetarian and vegan options available. Staff here seem knowledgeable about the difference as well, which is helpful!

I visit this location quite often and the service is always great. But today I received exceptional service from Helen. She was very prompt to get my order together and recommended trying the barbacoa next time I visit. She was very kind and it doesn t go unnoticed. Great job Helen. 10/10 service.

Food was tasty. Friendly service. Plenty of seating. They forgot chicken in my kids quesadilla but honestly, my toddler probably preferred that anyways.

We love the food at this location, but sometimes thats not enough when the service does not match! The tall lady with light eyes has no people skills. She does not smile, always having a bad day or hates her job. She is also really stingy with the sauces. My burrito was dry this time and asked twice for the Pineapple salsa and she put it on one and not the other. She never listens and is annoyed when you ask for something. Although we are paying we hesitate with her attitude.. .

Ordered the pork carnitas bowl. Had this in Peterborough before. They had quinoa and rice as an option as well I could have as many chickpeas as I wanted. I asked here for extra chick peas and was told ok this is your 4 option then .. vey stingy on topping and sauce won t be back

(First ever Google review) Visited the location in cobourg as I have many times over the last 5 years. The old women making the burrito bowls is a mess. Dressed like a slob because she likely cannot fit in the company made uniforms. She has been less than accommodating in all visits. When I asked to have chick peas added to my burrito bowl as a substitution to not having cheese she says no. It s an up charge. I gave you more chicken (instead of the cheese) She indeed did not, as I got 1 scoop of chicken. Rather than argue I decide to just walk away. She s an old miserable woman losing customers for the location. I feel sorry for her coworker who seemed very nice. (Must be horrible to have to work with such a miserable human day in and day out)

I want to say how disappointed I am in this place. I have been a regular here for many years and recently it has been a disappointing place to eat. On my last visit My friends and I where treated horribly by one of the staff member. She was rude and seemed like she didn t really care about us or the food. I understand people have bad days, but this one employee treated us terribly. She gave us Attitude for no reason and the servings where extremely small (not as they usually are). I will be taking my business to bar burrito from now on if I see this employee Working. This place is a shadow of how good is used to be and it s too bad.

If I m heading to Cobourg im stopping here. Yeah we all know Mucho burrito is awesome ( if you don t know, omg give it a try ) , but Cobourg Mucho kicks it out of the park. Loaded burritos, friendly staff, all a great experience.

Felt really sick after eating it. The rice wasnt fully cooked. Threw half of it in the garbage because it wasnt good at all. Never going there again.

Cant really justify continuing going here. Theyve gotten extremely sparse with toppings and protein. Yet their prices have increased.

Gone down hill, doesnt taste fresh

Used to be a regular but won t be back. $20 for a chicken tinga bowl, portion was very small, staff wouldn t let me add extra toppings even when I said I would pay extra. The bowl is half full, and it was over $20. Disappointing.

Ive been here many times and the food is always super fresh and tasty. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The last time I was there I was glad to see how carefully they were following Covid-19 precautions, all staff are wearing the proper PPE and could be seen regularly cleaning contact surfaces. Will definitely continue to visit this location!

Middle aged women didn t greet us and was very sparse with all three burritos. 2 regulars and a small and all of them are about the same size as a small 33$ for poor service and poor quality. Place has gone down hill.

was there last week, very impressed with staff, all were wearing masks and were following covid 19 protocols which made me enjoy my delicious vegetarian bowl made with beyond meat! will stop by again soon Vegan and vegetarian options are at Mucho, their new menu even includes vegan cheese! Ordered burrito bowl and mucho burrito. In comparison to other mexican shops food is extremely bland and seems like they have sacrificed quality for pure speed of orders. The pico had no seasoning at all, my steak was grey. Hopefully some competition will bring more effort. Many other local restaurants I would recommend spending your money at. No disrespect to staff they were friendly and efficient. Update I in the absolute most polite way emailed the automated account replying to these reviews. That was May 26th and have not yet received any sort of response.

Worst burrito and service I ever had. Owner should train their employees properly they don t know how to label correctly. They mixed up with my order and I ended up with having few bites of chicken burrito being vegetarian. For owners reference I bought today around 8:30 pm on July 28. Not a good place to waste your valuable money.

Its nice to have some restaurant variety in Port Hope. I have been to Mucho Burrito a few times to say the least, Its great to see all the toppings so fresh!! The employees are always polite and have even offered ideas to change up my burrito experience ... 10 /10 for me!!!

The service and staff were so helpful with my choices and everything was so fresh. Stopped by for a quick bite coming home from Toronto. I will have to visit more often! The quesadilla and nachos were amazing

Ive visited this location multiple tines and on each occasion the staff have been pleasant and the establishment was spotless. Each visit the staff was very helpful with assisting me making my dining decision which was great as there are many to choose from. Prices are more than fair considering a Big Mac costs $10 these days. To that point all the ingredients were fresh and delicious and the serving size left me full. Highly recommend this restaurant if youre in the Cobourg area

The customer service was horrendous. Our food was slapped together with very small pilings of ingredients. I have been to many much burrito locations and this is by far the worst I have ever been to. My food was barely grilled and the staff behind the counter was a very good representation of what customer service is not supposed to be. I do not suggest this location.

My kids and I love Mucho Burrito because they can eat meat if they want to and I can eat vegan. Its the best of both worlds. I only wish they offered lettuce on their burritos.

have recently had a much better experience then my previous visit. They had a better mix of veggies and wasn t 95 percent green peppers. I also noticed the lid on my bowl had a much better seal and seemed to fit tighter so hopefully won t have any more spills! Thanks for the improvements.

Tasty and freshly made. Nice selection of unique food for this area. Servers are always nice and work quickly, and the place is always clean The burritos are quite large, but they are expensive too. Be ready to spend $30 + if there are two if you. The only issue I have had is that the staff has been trained to be rather inflexible with the toppings. I asked for guacamole, acknowledged that I would pay extra for it, and was told it didnt go on what I ordered and couldnt get it? If Im willing to pay extra for it, then load up the green mush!

Fresh and friendly

The staff heated my tortilla under someone elses so it only got half heated. Mine was white, theirs was whole wheat ... ick. They no longer offer white rice. I ordered the mucho burrito. I asked for veggies (no meat). She put on three thin slices of peppers and two onion strips. I asked for cheese and got a small spoonful scattered over the mixture. I asked for the spicey black beans - cannot say there was any flavour to them ... very watery in the burrito. The staff person was polite.

I visited mucho burrito last night to pick up food for dinner. The burritos were great but I felt uncomfortable for the young employees that were working there. One was helping me and was told very sternly to go help other people. The supervisor talked down to her employees a total of 3 times in my short visit. Like I said great food, but uncomfortable service. Those kids arent making enough money to be told what to do in that way. The manager should take a course on managing with kindness rather than using fear to get people to do what you want. Update: I emailed the owner in response to my review. What a complete waste of time. They didnt give me the courtesy of a response to my email, no thank you, no nothing. I think their priority was making it look like they care by responding in public, then doing nothing.

I have been going to Mucho Burritto for years, they always have good food. Their ghost peper chili burritos are really hot.

Tastes good but the portion sizes are smaller than and more expensive than the one in ptbo. Also there is a limit on toppings? It cost me more to get less food?

Those burritos really are a lot but good food good selection nice to have a loyalty card when you get a free one after 7 purchases

The person seemed completely un interested in having customer. I was here for first time but they never bother nor seemed interested in telling the person how & what they were adding to my burrito bowl. She was obliging us by giving us food even though we were paying for it. Do not visit try something else.

Love that they have plant based protein now. So many gluten free and vegan options.

Ordered a burrito bowl. Got charged extra for another squirt of sour cream. Ingredients did not seem fresh. The girl making the bowls was just using her hands to make the bowl instead of the given utensils, seemed very unsanitary

Quick service and good fresh food

Highly recommended for Mexican lovers or if you like spicy food. I was a first time customer, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Its a little on the pricy side, mind you they are healthy servings. I have a big appetite and struggled to get through the mucho size. Definately will be back!

Pretty tasty food here, although for what you get its a bit pricey. We got quesadillas and tacos and the kids loved them. Service was.. Ok. Not the friendliest in the world but not bad.

Very dissapointed went there on boxing day and ordered 2 mucho barritos. They ended up breaking up one Barrio so they dumped the contents onto into another one and then they rolled it up but half the rice and sour cream was stuck in the discarded one and didnt freshen the new one up. Also asked if they could mark which one was which because one had lots of hot sauce and different items on it and when we got home neither one was marked .... very dissapointed

Thought id treat my mom out for lunch. Ive been to the one in Vaughan Mills and loved the food. This was so disappointing as i thought chain restaurants would serve same quality and quantity of food! This was not the case. I always just get a kids meal and for my daughter as its enough for lunch. Well i ordered 2 kids meals for my mom and i and $15 later/10mins we were going through Tim Hortons for a sandwich as we were still starving. The taco was not filled nor were we offered any of the sides but salsa. Im polite and didnt say i would like cheese sauce for nachos My moms comment was we get plain nachos with no cheese or salsa? So embarassing for taking her there and disappointed

Terrible service. Rushed through the line, and told rudely I have to pay extra for guacamole. The rice in my burrito was hard as a rock and had been in the steamtable too long. Coburg location by far worst experience so far with this chain thanks to an overweight impatient employee with glasses.

The soup was amazing, I highly suggest trying this place out. We had tacos and a burrito and the soup and it was definitely worth the 5 star review.

Had never been to a Mucho Burrito before and it was similar to Chipotle, but I think even better. The employees were both super nice and helpful, totally worth willing to go the extra mile and accommodate a vegan bowl which wasnt hard at all. It all seemed very fresh and she grilled some veggies fresh just for me. Overall, would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat.

Food was good, very nice decor, very clean and inviting space. We will definitely return while on our trips to Presquile, Sandbanks, and Prince Edward County.
