I was at this location for dinner after a gig at tezca and holy shit let me tell you the service and food was out of this world! Ang was our server and Drew was our cook, Reese was the manager and it was single handedly the greatest service I ve ever had in a restaurant. Cobourg Boston pizza, thank you for this fine dining experience.

Friendly staff, and the food was good. The place was in the middle of renovations so there was a bit of dust on the bench and one of my plates looked dirty. Otherwise a pretty good experience. Kid-friendliness: Yes

I ordered the tropical chicken pizza. It is something I have had often from various Boston pizzas. This one was terrible. The crust was like a thin, hard dry piece of cardboard. I havent had anything so bad. I am really surprised it was that bad. You pay a premium for their pizza and something so bad is unacceptable

I had Ang as a waitress and she was the best I ve ever had. So nice and respectful, never had to ask for a thing. Parking: Super easy to find parking

Ordered jambalaya with penne noodles with cheese through DoorDash when food arrived the bag was opened. I called the store and they said I had to go through DoorDash to get a refund. The lady was very rude and when I got my food, I opened it and it wasn t baked with cheese look like just thrown in there, I will never go back to this restaurant again. I was treated like absolute trash. When I contacted the DoorDash driver, he said it was accidentally opened when I checked the cameras. It was opened when he delivered.

Missing food, long wait times, and unfriendly service. We ordered through skip the dishes for a pickup. Wait time on app was 19 minutes. This was actually 45+ minutes. While waiting in the restaurant, I observed many customers arrive and noticed unfriendly and impatient customer service (one server specifically) as they were told it was a 45 to 50 minute wait, despite several empty tables. I get it, the kitchen was backed up, but the message wasnt delivered in a very considerate manner to confused customers. When I finally got home with the food I was annoyed to see that we were given salad dressing instead of gravy for the fries, a very small serving of fries and my Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese was missing the Buffalo chicken. When I called them, I was told the manager said there was absolutely nothing they could do, and I had to go through the app.

Easily the least appealing Boston Pizza I have been to. The service was terrible - from long waits to incorrect orders and a server trying to prove why the mistake was my fault by pointing out something on the menu - when she realized I was right she doubled down and said oh well, no one ever orders that k. Lol it was a kids spaghetti, that feels highly unlikely! But what do I know. The food arrived lukewarm at best and absolutely cold for my husband - after a very long wait in a not very full restaurant. Anyway, no one expects the moon when eating at Boston Pizza but this was particularly rough! Kid-friendliness: Great kids activity book - lots of menu options for kids and decent pricing. Includes dessert.

Made a reservation a couple of days before visit. Received message 1 hour before confirming reservation. Showed up to restaurant telling us they didnt have a reservation or space for our party. Only given option was to sit at high top bar with young kids in high chairs, not a working option. Restaurant told us no other choice and effectively turned away entire party. Original review was 5 stars in 2019, by 2023 it was 2 stars due to slow services, edited to 1 star in 2024 due to slow service, and poor customer service when problems come up.

I called a couple of days ahead to book a reservation for a large group (17 people total) for a birthday dinner. Just under an hour before we arrive, I receive a text confirming our reservation was shortly however upon arriving, they claim there is no record of our reservation anywhere. The worker was rude and simply said there was nothing she could do and offered no apologies for them messing up our reservation. Will not be returning to Boston Pizza Cobourg after this.

Very rarely do I write reviews but after the service my grandson, wife and myself experienced today I felt I had too. The young man, Jaxon that served us today was the most courteous and attentive server by far the best we have ever had.

We just went here for dinner to try it again after the last visit 15 years ago and Holy Crap absolutely Never Again! The restaurant is nice inside but the food is horrible! I paid well over 100.00 for microwave dinners! Unreal! Also the price of beverages is Insane! I was looking around thinking I was at a high end restaurant but nope just charging insanely high prices for microwave from a bag food and drink Will never go to another Boston Pizza Again! How this chain can stay in business with the quality and insane prices of food they serve is beyond me.. Patron Beware!

Came in late with some friends, and still served us with quick service and the food was still fresh and amazing, this might be the best place I have gotten food please check it out!!!

It was okkkay. The server was nice, the food was somewhat hot, but considering we were the only table on the patio of the August long weekend for about 75% of our meal (followed by a table of 2 for the last 25%) I expected a little more. I booked a reservation and mentioned on the phone that it was my birthday. I was disappointed when there was zero acknowledgement from the server. My plan was to order an item off the summer feature menu, but when the host never gave it to us, I assumed the summer specials were over. I was surprised to see stacks of the summer menu all over the restaurant when we departed. We just never got one. There was also no mention of any daily specials (food or drink) by the server or the host. If the restaurant was CRAZY busy, I understand slip ups happen. But considering how slow it was, inside and out, I expected more.

Went tonight for the Bluey & Bingo event and was so impressed. As a parent of a young toddler, going out lately can be a challenge, this event was soooo nice! Being all kids it was nice to not worry if my toddler made some noise as all those in attendance were families. Drove an hour to come in tonight for dinner with the Heeler sisters and had the best time. I really enjoy coming to these events! Our waitress Sophie was so kind and quick with any requests we had. The food was great and hot for it being extremely busy.

I dine here frequently nothing negative to say. I have had a positive interaction with Ty and Sam on many occasions, they are both very hard working, kind and continually check our on table to see if everything is to our satisfaction. They are an asset to the Boston pizza team. Love th chicken parm with garlic bread, a must try.

I think we had 5 different people serving our table of two. Never saw the same person twice. No consistency to build a relationship with server. Therefore no tip.

My mum and i came tonight for what we thought was a medium . Ended up being just a tarot carding reading thing .. Food was terrible. The pizzas and pasta were cold and the pasta had turned hard and changed colour on top. The salads had massive chunks of lettuce, barely any toppings/protein and way too much dressing. Drinks were missing the garnishes. Service was terrible, manager was rude and server was angry. We were a small group with children. Each ordered a drink and a main. Nothing complicated, we weren t difficult. We were visiting from out of town and sad we wasted our one dinner out on this place. We thought it would be a safe bet for decent food and good service for us and our kids. Big mistake. We tried to speak to the manager about it afterwards and he was also rude to us. Total waste of time and money. Take your business elsewhere.

Parking: several parking spots available. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu does appeal to both kids and parents alike. reasonable portions for the younger patron. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking available close to the entry doors with a flattened curb section to allow easy access to the door. Inside restaurant maneuverability is possible rather easily.

We go here very frequently and they never disappoint, definitely recommend the spinach dip. Our server this time was Keenen :3

I have been to Boston pizza Cobourg many times and Danielle is one of the great hostesses that makes our experiences there so great. She is always greeting us at the door with a smile and good attitude. It really sets the tone for how the rest of our dining experience will go. Which is awesome!

However, after receiving such an amazing experience and got to interact with such a wonderful individual such like Angela herself I decided open my phone and write a review in honour of her. Went to Boston Pizza yesterday and had a fantastic experience thanks to our hostess Danielle, she greeted us with a smile and helped with whatever we needed!

I ordered the chicken and mushroom fettuccine (I asked for penne instead of fettuccine) for pickup. There were several issues with my order. 1) No garlic bread 2) Barely any sauce 3) No mushrooms Highly disappointed as I am a regular customer but wont be coming here again.

Amazing Service

Attended the dinner with princesses what a nightmare! The lack of management was appalling. From the moment you walked in everything was a let down. Waited 15 minutes to be seated as they had 100+ people show up all at once. Management should have staggered the reservations every 10 minutes, especially as you HAD to make a reservation so they knew how many people planned to attend. Once getting to your seat waited another 25 mins before you saw a server. Was almost an hour before our drinks made it to the table. Then another hour for food. We were 3 hours there waiting and waiting for the next step of service. The poor server had a huge section(should have been two for that many people) but MANAGEMENT YOU WERE THE PROBLEM!! The poor girl was in the weeds and you just let her sink. Finally I asked while waiting for our bills to see a manager, I ask for someone to come help this poor server get the last 5 tables there out who were waiting on dessert and bills. And guess what their so bad at their jobs they didn t even come out!! Stayed in the back as they knew how unhappy everyone was, and continued to let the server sink further. Few tips for your managers Stagger reservations slightly to take some stress off servers and the kitchen. Staff better, have an extra host/food runner on. A extra bartender and buser. If you can seat 300 people staff for 200 people when you know your going to have 120 people plus walk ins! Setup your tables before guests arrive. IE: side plates, napkins, kids menus, condiments, roll ups, paper cups and a water jug. MANAGE BETTER!!! You clearly knew how many people were coming and couldn t be bothered to do any of the work to make it enjoyable for guests. But still made everyone play full price! Food for thought on doing better. But won t be coming back again to see if you do!

Extremely expensive, glorified fast food restaurant pretending to be a 5-star Italian Medium pizza with zero toppings is $23.99 +tax. It was a on-par with Domino s, where a plain medium pizza is $9.99 A Pint is about $12. Same Pint at CJ s is $9. Waitress charged me $4.00 for a single dipping sauce because she didn t know how to do her job. You will spend Less money at Cucina Urbana: cobourg s local / independent 5-Star authentic Italian restaurant. Curious about the food? It must be good if it s so expensive, right? I ordered takeout tonight, here s the picture I took after putting it on a plate (It was $25) (It s a sandwich. I know, hard to tell.)

Service was extremely slow, my order showed up frozen, manager of the store removed my dish , then a worker brought out just 2 meatballs , then our server told us they canceled my order saying I didn t want my meal. Worst experience I have ever had. All i wanted was spaghetti and meatballs and ended up with ice tea for dinner.

I order some take out tonight, imagine paying $25 for this, when I specifically asked for no cheddar cheese. Also, I think they forgot the smothered in Bolognese sauce , it was about as dry as it looks. A complete waste of money.

How disappointing. 6 of us went to the Yuk Yuks show last night. Your waitress told us that the comedians walk around when we expressed disappointment with our seating. They don t. The sound quality was quite horrible. We couldn t hear more than half the show.That was $120 wasted on our tickets. Half my group sat with their backs to the comedians. And it was nice to know that certain people get priority over everyone else. The two ahead of us literally told the host we have our regular seats and the host said well, I ll follow you then . Like really? I m glad I got a mediocre brownie to entertain me.

Im giving the second star based on the fact that you guys have a vegan cheese option. Other than that, the food is okay at best. The staff took forever to acknowledge us, as they were too busy chatting to each other. During our visit the staff decided to start their cleaning duties (it was 9...they close at 2? Why clean now?) Right beside us. The vacuum is loud and stinky as my partner and I tried to have a date night. Overall the food is glorified overpriced fast food and the atmosphere sucks.

Waited over half an hour after the noted time for a cold partial order to be fulfilled after first being offered only part of the order; 3/6 orders incomplete and 6/6 were cold. Realize Saturdays are busy but still disappointing.

Had the beef dip au onion au jus was excellent. Great service and atmosphere. Dinner for two with one pop and a peach bellini for around $65 cant beat it. Parking: Wheelchair parking almost at door. Easy access to building Kid-friendliness: Colouring contests, kid friendly staff. Kids menu

Last weekend my family was lucky enough to have Avery as our server! Not only was she responsible for our table (which can be a handful) but was balancing a large party as well. Avery did an excellent job at making sure we were taken care of and was great with our children.

Ordered the new bruschetta ravioli with chicken had to dig like panning for gold to find 6 tiny cubes. Barely any sauce on the ravioli waited for barely warm sauce to pour over our now cold food. They brought us a breast of chicken but by the time they came with the sauce it was cold too. I know theyre busy but Id rather wait for good food than this.

The pasta was cold and not cooked. Took a long time to be served.

We had the best server. I wish I knew her name. She talked about her living in Australia and how she liked her job and so much conversation at the appropriate time. I was with friends and she wad the perfect amount of attention and not.....we really enjoyed our night. Thankyou.

Our service was great, food good, nice atmosphere. I gave a 3star rating due to the prices! A small Canadian is $10.99, a 21 oz is $ 11.99. I dont know how BP can charge such ridiculous prices! Prices on the food items also overinflated! I can get a 6pack of Canadian Tall boys at the LCBO for an extra 5 bucks! We had no alcohol, literally cannot afford their prices.

Wings were good, didnt have to wait long either. Good spot for a nice dinner date.

Food took an hour, order was wrong, no sausage in meal.

DO NOT EAT HERE. When you first walk in it smells so gross. The restaurant is disgusting and the bathrooms are nasty. I dont even want to think about how gross the kitchen is. Servers wear their long hair down, serves your food with their hair in your plate. Food is not even good. We will never go back. Clean your restaurant!!!!

We attended the children s Princess Elsa night. this event was all about the experience and it was a huge letdown. The restaurant was clearly overwhelmed; it took an hour to order and another 50 minutes to get our food. Not everyone at our table got their food. The princess legit never came to half the restaurant. She kept hanging out on one side, hitting some tables a few times. My girl saw the princess when we and the princess were leaving the restaurant. Dear management, if you don t have the staff to cater to this many people, maybe limit the number or simplify your menu. Please ensure your princess visits all the tables in a sequence and within a time limit. Once she visits all the tables once, then she can freely see any table. Obviously, we didn t tip. It was a complete waste of time and money.

We went with friends to Boston Pizza for dinner and a comedian show Yuk Yuks. It was our first time at Boston Pizza, the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. They also know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness.

Hello, This review is from an agitated customer. I was here last week with a few friends served by Avery, a nice girl, but she has no idea how to waitress. We waited for service, and then our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. Our food orders came before our drinks. We were understanding about how slow the service was. We figured it was a bad night, so we decided to give it another try tonight, but it was the same thing with a different waitress. All we did was wait for the slowest service. By the time we got our drinks and food, it was too late our experience was ruined....again. To management, this is unacceptable. Why do you think offering your paying customers such poor service is acceptable? I read the reviews and this is an ongoing complaint, but yet it continues. The head office needs to step in and correct the poor management here and train the workers here better before they destroy your business further. Also, I noticed the waitresses had their hair down, which I found off-putting for serving food, and the tables were sticky ( so not wiped cleaned very well). I will continue to eat a Boston Pizza but not at this location.

I order food here and show up after the 30 min wait period and consistently have to stand at the front of the restaurant for 15-20 minutes before getting anybody to talk to me. Once you get the attention of a worker they will walk off and not come back for another 15-20. I ve experienced this 5+ times at this location, absolutely awful service. Avoid this location at all costs. Never experienced this at any restaurant in my life and to have it happen the past 5 times I ve been here really shows that this place has gone downhill. Absolute nightmare.

Food was good, could use some more flavour, staff and entertainment was excellent

I was there yesterday for lunch, it started when our food was brought out to us, they messed up the order and brought out fries instead of mashed potatoes as we asked for mashed potatoes, then when I made them aware of that the potatoes they brought out were cold as if they had just pulled them out of the fridge and not heated them up making for the food to not taste great and make it feel like a waste of money

By far our favourite Resturaunt , food is excellent and the staff are friendly,professional , kind and make your BP experience a warm and relaxing and excellent one

really disappointed in the food quality. nachos have hardly any cheese. service is often quite slow. bought the kids card for the value but feels like a hassle every time we come in.

We had a team dinner on Friday night, with a group of around 35 people. Our servers were exceptional! Great communication, extremely friendly and organized. Thanks to Sam and Angela for a great night

I recently had the Buffalo spicy Mac and cheese. It was overly Buffalod so I couldnt finish it. Everything else was alright though.

Loved everything! And the kids hockey team was helping out too, good job from them and the waitresses during a very busy rush .. will be back!

$10.99 for a draft is a bit much, but I still had a few... nice dining experience

We ordered food tonight that was the jambalaya, chicken thai bites and pasta penne with spinach and mushrooms. The Jambalaya is always the same, he enjoys it. The thai bites are so pricy for what you get. As for the pasta that was a spinach, mushroom baked with cheese was disappointing to say the least. the price tag on the whole meal was $80. What a shame. I had 2 bites of cheese and as for the sauce you can say not even a 1/4 of it was covered, so dry but why not make it that way so next time you can order extra same for extra money no thanks. Time to look for a new place to eat or make the stuff at home. So disappointed.

Consistently gets orders wrong. Blatantly ignored by serving staff. Save yourself some time and get Mcdonalds.
