I have been going to Jims Pizza for decades and they have always made a great pizza. Will be going back to Jims for years to come

Place is good for a group of friends to or a a family to gather. The food is good and give it a chance you might find it better than the franchise joints out there.

Ive enjoyed Jims pizza since moving to Cobourg, but that stopped on Aug 7th. I ordered a lrg pizza with half pepperoni for my young guest, half sausage for myself. After a small bite my guest whispered that the pizza smelled funny. I had noticed an unpleasant smell, and thought is was from my pet - NOPE. The pepperoni side of the pizza had a smell, that I can only describe as what you would smell in a barn!. I called Jims to explain the situation, and was offered a new pizza. I declined because something was obviously VERY wrong with their ingredients (I suspect the pepperoni). The smell was so offensive that there was no way that they wouldnt have noticed. I asked for a refund, and was informed that only the manager could authorize that. I left my name and number, and 3 weeks later, Im still waiting to hear from someone

We absolutely love their food. Not just the pizza s their Poutine is awesome. The lady that works there and cooks is really awesome, polite, considerate, and ohhh boy can she cook. Our one and only place for Pizza. Also the best prices I have found in Cobourg.

I was kind of dissapointed with the taste of the pizza!!..garlic bread was just ok!!..prices too expensive..for the amount of fiat currency they charge!!..I heard way bk it way good!!..think that was when they used dough balls!!..todays word d minus!!lol!

Finally got to try a pizza from this storied shop in Cobourg I must say it was fantastic pizza featuring fresh ingredients ,a pleasant slightly sweet sauce, and a cheese on top style. Crust was proportioned well and not too heavy the lady who was at the oven and working solo in the shop was very pleasant. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Do NOT recommend supporting this business. It has become apparent to me that the owner is a very nasty woman. I witnessed her yelling at her delivery driver accusing him of not grabbing the order receipt as he had only left the store for about a minute to walk out to his vehicle and come back. He seemed very polite and it kind of just seemed like she wanted to take her bad day out on him. If this is the way she treats people you can imagine how much care goes into the quality of the food. I was extremely uncomfortable and will never go back there as every other pizza place in Cobourg offers tremendously friendly customer service.

The Best pizzas place in Cobourg

New to Cobourg.....not sure where to get a good pizza. I was given a few $5 Eats cards and Jims was one of the places that the card. I ordered a panzerotti and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend Jims. If not for the Eats Card I probably would have gone to one of the chains like Pizza Pizza. Thx Jims

3:45 open? :/ I was excited to try this place I m from Oshawa and on the road working. I m going to have to rate it a 1 star unfortunately because I ll never be able to stop by with hours like that.

Haven t had Jim s pizza for a few yrs, decided to order panzerotti for a change. Absolutely disgusting, dough was undercooked on the inside, cheese was barely melted and barely warm, it was all just a clump of unmelted cheese, they pulled it out of the oven while my husband waited, so I m not understanding why it was luke warm and not hot. Asked if we wanted garlic or ranch dipping sauce, picked ranch and we got a container of mayo. Not sure what s happened to the quality but it s not the same as it once was. Sad too since Jim s used to be the best pizza in Cobourg now it s subpar.

This pizza is delish! Love me some pepperoni and bacon za! Also, their poutine is pretty darn good too. 10/10 Vegetarian options: They have all sorts of veggies you can top your pizza with. You can also get other vegetarian options like a Greek salad, mushroom bites, French fries, and more. Just ask - the staff are pretty knowledgeable and friendly too. Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free pizza that s actually pretty decent. Last I was there, they also had dairy free cheese you can request - so that s nice for those with lactose or gluten intolerances. Parking: You can park on the street out front or in the convenience store parking lot. It s located in downtown Cobourg so there is lots of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: This building is not wheelchair accessible from what I know. There are stairs going into the building.

Best service , fast delivery and amazing food! Pizzas are better than pasta! But meatballs pasta is sooo good!

Customer service was excellent very friendly staff and the pizza was very good my compliments to the chef definitely will treat the family to jims again for sure thanks again guys keep up the great work!

Ordered pepperoni on whole pizza and a few other ingredients to be on one side of pizza, this wasn t done and all toppings went on the whole pizza. Despite that pizza was pretty good, except for the black olives. They tasted a bit off. Overall experience wasn t bad and would come back when in town.

Travelling through to Ottawa from Toronto - Stopped in with the whole family ( we are 6) after an afternoon at the beach. Service was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Pizza was great. Fresh, good dough and crust and delicious! It s been a long time since I enjoyed a well made pie at an old school, not pretentious, real family pizzeria. The place was undergoing some finishing touches in renovations for their grand re-opening in a few days. Good luck with the re-opening celebration and will stop in for more pie next time we are on vacation in the area. The only thing that could make it better would be a wood fired oven maybe for the next renovation? Dietary restrictions: Daughter has a food allergy and we were assured no issues with ingredients.

We were looking for a different taste of pizza instead of regular franchise, so we ordered from Jims Pizza Palace in Cobourg. Today was actually the grand re-opening since 1972, so we expected the pizza to be great. Well, we we NOT let down! The pizza was amazing! It reminded is of the tasty pizza that we used to have when we were young! We will definitely be ordering again from Jims!

By far the worst service I have ever had! Took 2 hours to get my cold pizza and got charged 80 for 1 large and 1 medium! Stay away!!!!!!

Not the same as it use to be! Since the change of ownership, the pizzas are lacking. The pizza dough is sooo thin that when you lift it up everything falls off from being so thin. No more dough balls not oregano on the jim s special. Wish it was the same!

Friendly staff in this small, simple mainly take out restaurant. Superb Pizza assembled and cooked exactly the way we ordered it. Every bit as good as any of the other Jims. ie: Port Hope, Trenton. Not a place you go to for upscale ambiance.

One of the best pizza I ve had since living in Canada. It reminds me of Chicago deep dish. Friendly staff and great pizza. I ve tried this one and port Perry s and they blow port perry out if the water.

Just ordered for the first time. Instead of garlic dip they gave us a container of mayo, gross. Breaded wings were alright but they dont pre sauce them and didnt give enough sauce for us to toss them all in. Cesar salad pretty standard. The pizza is disgusting. I dont know if we got a bad batch but it tasted old and sour. We legit are throwing the whole thing out, our kids couldnt even eat the plain cheese pizza it has such a weird flavour. Sooo disappointed and what a waste of $50.. now we have to figure something else out for dinner. We are major pizza eaters from all types of restaurants and will never order this again.

If you like thick crust pizza, this is the place. Generous with the cheese. Ceasar salad had real bacon bits and nice croutons. Friendly service.

Had a small bacon , mushroom,green pepper. Really great pizza! Thick crust and just the right amount of cheese! And the price was right! I do suggest a little more salt in the sauce and/or the dough. That would kick it up just another level. I am definitely going back for more!!

Great pizza,service was amazing. And the cheese was right amount! I absolutely hate a cheese less pizza,this place wasnt shy when it came to that. Decent prices,Everything taste fresh, definitely going back again!! Highly recommend it.

We ordered through door dash. The meal was brutal. We threw out most of it. Husband couldn t have souvlaki as they ran out, chicken fingers instead. He couldn t identify if even chicken. Lasagna was noodles with a very small amount of sauce and one layer of cheese ..no meat. Poutine was saturated in gravy and fries barely cooked. Oh and they forgot the mozzarella sticks. They arrived 45 minutes later and were so well cooked you could barely chew them. Soooooo disappointed for the amount we paid and the amount we threw out!

Had Jims pizza tonight for the first time in a month.....and am so disappointed. Seemed to be different people working there now (new owner?) and the pizza was nowhere as good as before. Really sad if this isnt the same place anymore! Pizza wasnt 1/2 as good as before Way less cheese than usual and barely enough sauce which had none of the good oregano flavour we remembered. Well try once more....sad if this iconic name is done.

Visited Cobourg for the first time for some work, and decided to try Jim s pizza, and oh man it was one of the best pizza s i ve ever had. Also tried their lasagna which was top notch. might have to drive an hour to have some Jim s pizza again

Love the food here!!! Stopped in here a few times now on my way through Cobourg. It s pretty much my go to. Great service too, love it! Try them out for sure if you re in the area.

They tried hard. I know this because the order was late and I watched them frantically work to catch up on orders. Unfortunately the pizza and wings were not good. No dice.

jim pizza cobour we will feed the needy pizza and it does cost money so if you have a watch they dont take them 4 dollors now and a man can eat well not the spoiled food thats no man meal there no man should have to eat that i have jims pizza and on the day i gave out some teddy bears might has sold some but that day i eat jims pizza and then i would say cobourg feeds the hungry and thats a five star reserant from me.

Thanks to Jims Pizza Cobourg and they have become our favorite pizza in town . Khoola the owner is so friendly and She really takes pride in the food she creates. The pizza crust was puffy with 4 different generous toppings with a lot of cheese. She really coordinated so well and delivered the Pizza in time to our new site for the construction workers whom we were treating them with lunch. They all took so many serving and kept saying these pizzas taste really great. Highly recommend this place . Very reasonably priced. They accommodate vegetarian option as well. Thank you again Khoola you made our day. Looking forward to a great beginning in this friendly town. Goldie

Terrible experience! Being there twice , first and last with new owners. Ordered a baked lasagne and a baked spaghetti with extra sauce , received two lasagnes with hardly any sauce and tasteless, asked for my money back and was told theyre not in the business of refunding money, definitely not like the old Jims . Tonight I called to place a delivery order to I find out that they are closing in 10mins.. and doing pizzas only. However the woman (who I believe is the owner) decided to make my full order for me. Very very kind of her and shows such great service to customers, even when she didn t have to. Thank you so much! 5 stars, all the way!

The pizza is fantastic and the price is right. However, the restaurant to eat in isnt as clean as I would expect. There were crumbs all over the floor and on some tables. The vents were very dusty. Do recommend for take out.

We just moved to Cobourg and a last minute decision had us ordering pizza from Jims for the first time. Weve driven by many times and have seen some positive reviews and we were not disappointed. We custom ordered two mediums and they were delicious. Way better than any tasteless chain pizza that you can order. Pickup was easy and the owners were engaging and friendly. Definitely our go to place for pizza now.

We ordered the baked lasagna. The size, cheese and texture of the sauce was awesome. However, the sauce was pretty tasteless. If you could add some spices and give it some spicy kick, you would have a true winner.

We liked Jim s pizza so much the first time we have ordered again. Thick crust without asking for it, cheese on top without asking for it and plenty of cheese without having to order extra. Tasty sauce and really nice friendly people. Not sure we will be ordering elsewhere.

We ordered delivery. It was okay. They had a good amount of cheese and an average amount of toppings (we got two toppings), but the dough was really not amazing. It was too tough and too chewy. My jaw was exhausted chewing halfway through the first slice. It was also not a very well seasoned dough; pretty bland in all honesty. But it arrived hot and within a good amount of time, so no complaints there.

Excellent service. I needed delivery to my car as I had 2 small children with me. My food was brought out to me with a gracious smile and it was very much appreciated. The pizzas we brought home were also fantastic as usual. Keep up the great service Thanks so much

I m not sure if they gave us the wrong order. I called in to order vegetarian pizza and mild wings. We arrived at home and the pizza had meat and wings had no sauce. The service on the phone wasn t good as well, it seemed like the employee wasn t sure on what to do or how to take an order. That should of been my clue to not order at all.

Ordered Hawaiian pizza only few very small cubes of ham just cheese and pineapple. Very disappointed and paid & 25! Ok l must add they offered me a free pizza the next time. Really hope its as good as the ones weve had in the past from there.

Not the most pleasant counter staff, meaning that they more-or-less begrudgingly acknowledge you, or youre taking them away from something else theyd rather be doing. The pizza I got was rather disappointing for what it cost me. Not the very worst Ive ever had, but far from great. I would return here, but only if they were the only show in town. They certainly charge that way. On the positive side, if you like a nice, thick crust under your toppings, their pizza had that going for it, however, if I were to order again, Id be sure to specify lightly done, as I dont care for crunchy hard crust, but Id imagine that was a rookie mistake I made when placing the order.
