Drove down from Toronto. This was the best shawarma pizza I ve ever had.

We are visiting Cobourg from the US and I ve been craving shawarma for a while since we ve been on the road. This place delivered! From the outside, it doesn t appear to be much, and it s a near the downtown strip that has lots of good eats, but this unassuming house of shawarma and pizza is fantastic. It was a great choice for a night in.

By far the best Shawarma that Cobourg has to offer by a long shot. This is a well established restaurant and has always gone above and beyond in preparing excellent food and their in house delivery service is great and they actually listen to instructions and deliver the food unlike certain online services. If you are coming to Cobourg you can get a shawarma to an excellent and consistent quality here.

I don t even know where to start, I seriously cannot put into words how unfathomably good their food is. It tastes like It was cooked with love and care, everything is beautifully balanced and mouthwateringly delicious. The people here are so lovely, it s a family run restaurant and they dont disappoint. I highly recommend their Shawarma Plate, the potatoes that come with it are the best potatoes I ve ever had and I m not exaggerating when I write this

1st time eating at this place I read a review that stated not enough toppings I decided to give it a try anyway bought the chicken shawarma plate and the beef kabob plate There was maybe 2 bites of chicken and a small dry beef kabob I like to support local but for 33$ its 95% rice on the plate Im sure they are making a killing on these dishes but It will not be my money was disappointed

The food was amazing, and delicios! I really enjoyed the experience, and would definitely reccomend it. The family who owns the buisness is also very kind. Vegetarian options: I do not remember the menu, but I dont beleve there were many vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

Really good thin crust pizza. Not a big fan of the pepperoni they use but quite enjoy the pizza. I havent had a chance to try the schwarma or the schwarma pizza but will soon.

I ve lived in two different countries (multiple provinces & states) and their Shawarma Pizza is THE BEST pizza I ve ever had. Yum!

We stopped on oir way to Ottawa and looked up a halal place in Coburg. We purchased the Shawarma Pizza and it believe me the pizza was out of this world. This is the closest pizza to the one that I use to have in Birmingham, UK. Believe me there is not even a single pizza place in Mississauga that comes close to this one.

Welcoming staff....excellent service..varied menu and the pizza was outstanding. I would highly recommend it .

Got the shawarma. No beef option, only chicken. No listing anywhere in the restaurant of the toppings or what comes on the wrap. You dont get to pick what they put on it. The guy had to verbally say what comes on it and can ask them exclude stuff if needed. Also got the chicken kabab plate. Placed order and was told it would be about 10 minutes... waited nearly 30 before we got our food. Food was OK but nothing special. Not sure why this place is so highly rated. People must mostly get the pizza... maybe they should call it Pizza House (+ shawarma) Looking forward to Osmows opening soon.

Not good as compared to other shawarma s shop

Had the Shawarma Dinner plate and it was amazing. The food was fresh as were the veggies. The flavour was also amazing. The best Shawarma I ve ever had and I ve had lots! The lady was very nice too. Will defiantly be back!

Stopped here on a road trip from Toronto. Ordered the chicken kabob, beef kabob, and chicken shawarma plates. The food was hot & fresh, the meat and vegetables were very fresh and the rice proportions were generous and very flavourful! The owners were very polite, and service was great. Would 10/10 recommend.

So good and always so fresh!

The shawarma plate was amazing! The meat was super tender, well seasoned and covered in a great spicy sauce, couldn t believe the portion size, huge! I was very impressed, especially for the price. The potatoes, the rice, the salad all of it was good. The spicy chutney sauce and garlic sauce were really tasty too. The cans of pop were nice and ice cold. My first time here, I will definitely go back for more.

Delicious Shawarma Pizza and chicken shawarma.

This place is awesome: 1. Shawarma pizza, get the double meat (wont be disappointed); 2. Looks like homemade Garlic Dip; 3. Wings are great (Mild/Medium/Hot is amount of sauce, but good meat and not fatty. Honey Garlic as well. Highly recommended.

Approx 2 weeks ago: Food was good, however, their employee / delivery driver drove aggressively onto / across the sidewalk in front of my wife when we arrived, luckily without hitting her. He stopped right in front of the restaurant. He got out of his white SUV wearing his pants below his a$$ so everyone could enjoy seeing his entire underwear. GROSS. Then the guy walked into the kitchen for a bit, got another delivery and sped away skidding the tires, westbound on King. What an irresponsible / sloppy person to represent your restaurant!! OH! And their prices on line are outdated. Prepare to may more when you pick up your food.

There a lot of good eats in Cobourg, but you know the food is really good when it makes you feel nostalgic - had memories of some of my favourite childhood meals surface while eating! I recently ordered the shwarma plate. It was flavourful and delicious. The salad was super fresh. Even the rice and potatoes were excellent, and seasoned perfectly. The owners were kind and very much care about their customers as well. Middle Eastern food is scarce in the county, but Im glad this family-owned restaurant is in our community!

Food is okay, cheese pizza was nice, pita and platter are not. They are not really shawarma, but its grilled or toasted chicken. Taste good, but portion quantity is nominal. On $16 platter it hardly had 6 piece shredded chicken pieced, remaining was rice and salad. Same for pita too, full of salad hardy had 3 or 4 piece of little meet. I mean, no complaints, food was okay, but not really fulfilling.

Absolutely delicious!

Super disappointed that the hours listed on both Google and Facebook are not correct. Have tried ordering from them for lunch twice this week and they are not open until 3pm on Saturdays and are not open at 2pm through the week. Please update your hours.

Really enjoyed the medium spice shawarma pizza, however the mild sauce on the wifes shawarma salad was too sweet for our taste. The actual chicken shawarma was good...just the mild sauce was not to our taste. Think Gyro vs Donaire. Cant knock them for that... were just Gryo people... Were definitely going to try again with the sauce on the side.

Shawarma pizza! Best of both worlds. Very tasty and pairs nicely with the garlic dipping sauce. Owners are very friendly and prompt with their service. Pizza was even delicious cold the next day. Give it a shot next time youre in Cobourg!

My shawarma didnt taste bad, but it was not at all a real shawarma, roasted on a rotating grill. The people were friendly, though, and the service was good.

This place is a hidden gem! I m so glad I found this restaurant. I just had the best falafel wrap of my life! The woman working there was very friendly. I will definitely be returning :)

Wonderful local business! My husband is newly vegetarian and was so excited to find their menu which actually gives delicious unique options. Plus its easy enough to just order pizza for the kids too! Will absolutely be back! (Watch out for that spicy sauce!! )

Just swung by in this area for food after a long 70km bike tour originally from Mississauga. I ordered shawarama chicken dinner plate one of my favorite places ever! The food was superb and delicious and 10000% authentic highly recommend this place! I wish this place comes to Mississauga as Mississauga has the worst shawarama places ever nothing I have ever seen quality wise and whats included in the plate really amazing! Not sure if its Arab or Afghani but either way delicious top quality food!!

The spicy shawarma pizza with the garlic dipping sauce I could eat every day. So good. Love the pizza crust in general, too. I havent tried the other foods there but I should and I will because if the pizza is any indication of the general goodness of the place its gon be goo-oo-oooood.

The only middle eastern restaurant around this area. Their shawarmas are tasty but they only have chicken. The owner is nice guy and hes trying raise a few teenagers so hes got his hands full - hard worker.

Really unique and refreshingly different taste of shawarma pizza. Great customer service provided by the family! Husband and I enjoyed the pizza very much! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something halal to eat around Cobourg Beach and shawarma pizza is a must try!

This place is a hidden gem atleast forme as i was visiting from Toronto. Must must try the shawarma pizza its unlike anything you would have ever had and is just WOW. The service is great and very friendly. The place is value for money and I will be visiting many times in the future for sure.

Hidden Middle Eastern gem in Couburg, with some quality eats. The man running the show knows his food is good and will recommend it to you if you dont decide fast enough on your own. Their shawarma pizza is unique, and requires no modifications. Perfect as is. Would go again if I was in the area.

Just went here for the first time for the giant party pizza. We were a little iffy on it with the mainstays of the restaurant being a shawarma place, but man, this pizza is great!!! Sauce is gross at the pizza place by Shoppers. Best local pizza joint. Great atmosphere inside too. The people running it were very friendly and courteous.

Best pizza in town

This place is Halal. You get shawarma and pizza and a hybrid of both called as Shawarma Pizza. We could see options like lamb curry with chapatti as well. Liked the food especially the wings. Would recommend the medium spicy sauce wings compared to honey garlic. Shawarma Pizza was good as well, something different for a change. Would recommend this place for halal eaters.

Shawarma house used to be Square Boy Pizza and the pizza is still basically the same (excellent). The shawarma is good too. If you want halall food take out in Cobourg then this is the place to go (but let them know in advance).
