Update... Once again I must give another review so people remember what I wrote earlier. This location has family and friends shamelessly pump up this Burger King location when in fact its not very good at all. We can start with the lack of hair net use STILL, then we can go on to orders made incorrectly when they are ordered custom, to the fact that it seems most employees are related. This is not how to run a franchise. As stated the oil is rarely changed and the food tastes like junk because the owners only care about profit maximization. Little do these people realize they would have twice the business if they actually had well trained employees. Like others have said, avoid this location unless you like substandard BK with the occasional hair in your burger! This Burger King much like many other places with these owners is complete garbage! Sadly the truth is real and it hurts... Have a look at my pictures and profile as solid proof and my actual Real reviews of other restaurants. 3 of their reviewers have exactly 1 review! Pathetic and Laughable... So, 2nd time at this location attempting to order a BIG KING XL . 1st time I realized they had no idea what 2X more stacker sauce meant so this time I ordered extra... Lol. The photos shown which includes my one small piece of onion and 4 shreds of lettuce say it all. But even better, I challenge you to find the Stacker Sauce at all let alone the Extra. We dont need you to cut costs, we need you to make the sandwich as advertised or at the very least as ordered! Worst possible Burger King Ive eaten at in my life. You make the McDonalds look like fine dining. If you want to own a franchise, adhere to the standards set and dont try and make your own! Also if you notice, a piece is even missing from one of the patties. Please sell soon to real franchisees!

Food was fine, no concerns - location isnt perfect as very little parking, maybe 7 spots. Not easy to enter or leave based on location

UPDATE 2023 Well service has definitely changed for the better! The servers are great now. I guess someone noticed and upgraded the customer service! Sad people work here. Ive used the drive-thru several times. Whomever the manager is you need to train your employees with customer service skills. I feel like Im going through a funeral. I say please and thank you and I get nothing, not even eye contact. Customer service is number 1 in business. Either replace the current manager or train them. Nothing worse than miserable people serving you.

Wish I could give zero stars. Staff is rude and food is sloppily assembled. I was also charged on two separate occasions for food I didn t order and they argued with me when I confronted them about it. Avoid this location at all costs.

I find their hamburgers (the Whopper in particular) to be mushy and too messy. The texture and taste is not appealing to me. I dont find anything redeeming in their fries or any other sides or different types of hamburgers. IMO, JJs and Harveys serve the best hamburgers, and I love that you can get Frings (half fries/half onion rings) There just seems to be many more places to enjoy a decent burger/fries combo.

This location is located off the 401. Ordered take-out and waited for the order, expecting a hot, fresh meal. The food was cold, soggy, and not hot or fresh. You are better off stopping at an En Route on the highway if you want a fresh cooked order.

Will give you old food if you dont specify to have it freshly made. Plenty of times i have gotten old food from this location.

Disgusting, please dont eat here. I miss food actually made by real Canadians. Now many fast food restaurants are operated by Indians these people ruin the quality of foods. They reuse the oil for too long to a point it taste like fish.

Clean place friendly staff

Went there with friends, placed a drive through order for 3 burgers, 2 combos with fries and onion rings. I ordered a veg burger for myself. The 2 combos are ready quickly but they said I have to wait a couple of min for my veg burger, I waited 6 min and when I got the burger, it tasted so dull that it forced me to never visit not only this but any Burger king outlet. The other two combos are okay but the soda drink tasted like it had been water down and the onion ring wasnt crispy enough. Vegetarian options: Definitely not for the people who crave vegetarian burgers.

Quick and Delicious

Stopped here quickly while on a road trip. Food was hot. Service was quick and friendly. One of the better Burger Kings I have been to. Minor downside was the bathroom was pretty run down. It was clean though.

Went in tonight and first they forgot half our items in our order, went inside to get the missing items and it was so busy waited for 5 mins then ended up leaving as the line did not move at all! Then the staff locked the doors cause of the busyness so anyone that could possibly be missing items like myself has no was to go and get items unless going back through drive through which again took 10 mins to even order our food with only 2 cars ahead of us very disappointed

I am always so impressed by this location. The freshest ingredients and best customer service you will find!! Food is hot. Great overall! People here are wonderful! Its a shame its a little hidden because Im sure a lot more people would venture here.

I enjoy Burger King however not this location. They have messed up orders to many times as of late. Today I decided to try the new BK breakfast wraps, bacon and egg as well as sausage and egg, Both wraps were labeled caution hot. This could not be further from the truth. They were both not even warm. Not to meantion the bacon one came with NO BACON. How do you miss a main ingredient? The Sliced processed cheese they put on was refrigerator cold. They just folded it in half and threw it in the wrap. If I could give it a Zero I would so lucky they are getting a 1 star. Oh and the phone number that s on there google listing says sorry the number you are trying to reach is not able to receive calls at the moment so you can t even call to complain. Do yourselves a favour and go to a different location.

Very poor service, and untrained staff, ordered was placed staff missed 2 iteams, when inquired about missing food staff, didnt believe me, when packing food they should be aware of what orderer goes where. They were speaking in there own language, and I believe thats like a insult to the customer not knowing what there saying about customer. Filled a complaint management didnt even bother to contact me. Washrooms had piss everywhere nasty, and unclean.

Third time I have been to this location.I love Burger King. But everytime I have gone to this one the food is old and never fresh. Soggy fries and cold old burgers. Service is not bad just the food quality is very poor.

Very dry chicken sandwich. I thought these were made fresh, as I ve tasted at other locations? My patty was no bigger than a chicken finger, I threw half the buns out because there was not enough patty to fill it. Very underwhelming quality and sad service.

Most consistent Burger King I ve ever been to. Always fresh produce, juicy meat, and fresh buns. This place is the gold standard of what a whopper should be. Always my go to fast food stop when diving between Ottawa and Toronto

Loved Burger King since I was kid. Never really changed but over the years thu have changed in some cities I ve lived. So when this location has opened I was curious how it would compare. Well this is my favorite fast food location in Cobourg. Food is always great and it s easy to make modifications to your order. Staff is friendly and I ve never had any of my burger orders messed up. Great service and I ve told them many times I go there. They are the best. Highly recommend this location. You won t be disappointed. Same great taste.

Got the entire order wrong then waited 20 minutes for it to be fixed. Watched the guy at the cash wear the same gloves he just took someone s cash with and then proceeded to flatten the buns and make the burgers. Extremely unsanitary and I ended up just throwing those burgers away. Normally it s much better than this but it was a complete disaster.

Love this Burger King! Always fresh and friendly service! Its a nice refreshment from all the other fast food restaurants around! When I first saw they were bringing back the Burger King in Cobourg I was so excited! I am honestly very impressed as still to this date they are always fresh, hot fries that are never old or cold like McDonalds are! The burgers as well as their Chicken sandwiches are always amazing and have loads of toppings, fresh veggies , lettuce tomatoes etc. The staff and very friendly and have never messed up my orders either. Thank you for your great staff and service! Keep up the great work!

I think that as I get older my tastes are changing. I am skeptical to leave my opinion here. I will but please bare in mind that this is my opinion only. I didnt enjoy the food as much as I used to. I found it bland. I was given hot sauce for my cheese sticks. I dont know if that is what automatically comes with them but I think a choice should be given. I dont like hot sauce, a little spicy but not hot. Admittedly I wouldnt choose Burger King for my next fast food purchase.

My family and I were very excited to see we were getting a burger King in Cobourg. We went there very shortly after they first opened and I think the staff and store were overwhelmed with the amount of customers they had. The initial experience was not great. However, we have been there a few more times since then and theyre definitely improving. Every time since then has been better and better! Keep up the good work!

The burgers Pattys there are extremely small, like even smaller than McDonalds and it didnt really taste great m mom got chicken fingers or something like that and only got 3 of them I would not recommend the only reason I gave 2 stars was because they were fast
