Food has no !!!!! Taste or flavor Its very small portion and very EXPENSIVE!!

One of the best beef patties I have had. I bough 12 frozen spicy patties to take home.

This place is either never open when.its supposed to be , if it is open they never have coleslaw that usually comes with the meals. And now today we went once again ( its only Caribbean food place close to us so no choice my hubby loves oxtail ) they had NO MEALS COOKED AT ALL!!!! only Jamaican patties . Not impressed at all why even be in business if this is the service offered, why open then ? ! We will NOT be returning now. ridiculous smh.

Blows my mind the restaurant closes just before 6pm. It s dinner time what are the owners thinking.

Best jamaican food Ive ever had! Patties were crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. So fresh and hot! Ox tail had amazing flavour with generous portions Jerk chicken had perfect amount of spice and cooked to perfection. I will be back soon! A hidden gem! If you are thinking about trying this place, do it!

I stopped in at the Jamaican patty house for the first time since moving to Cobourg . What a delight it was. The lady who served us was exceptionally helpful and friendly, we tried the oxtail, which was absolutely delicious. Probably the best I ve had. She also sent us home with a sample of her pumpkin soup. That sample was enough to feed both of us and we absolutely loved it! We are definitely going back again.

Walked in for some roti s left with 3 Chicken Curry/Rice and beans for me and the boys at the office! Absolutely sublime. Huge portion but couldn t stop eating.

Literally just left the Patty house and devoured my patty in the car !! Delicious . Thank you so much. As well as the peanut punch drink, my son is inhaling, lol Great visit

Was driving through Coburg and saw the Jamaica Flag. Had to stop and support, you dun know. Ordered 4 patties, came up to 13$. Was very impressed. The flavour of the patty and texture of the crust brought me right back to my childhood. This place makes the patties similar to how it was 35years ago in Jamaica, before Juici Beef and Tasties came on thes scene and became the standard. Patties were good size, had a lot of meat and sooo flaky. I must say I did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised.

Dropped in this afternoon to pick up some patties and ginger beer. Loved the atmosphere and the patties were delicious. This place is a gem!

Great jerk pork, even tho it wasnt grilled, flavours tun up. Veggie patty was also good. Large variety of Jamaican sodas.

My favorite food in town. Great food, great service, great price. My favorite is the Jerk Chicken and spicy patties but everything tastes wonderful

The patties are so delicious, and the owner is super nice. Very friendly and made sure to chat with us while she cashed us out. Highly recommend trying the food if you havent. You wont be disappointed, 10/10

I technically havent visited the store - but whenever I go into town with my friends, the first person there buys some patties for the late arrivers. I like them. Not too spicy, good flavour. Last time, it was 13 for $50.

If you want some real Jamaican food with some amazing flavor this is the spot. Owner is super friendly and a great guy. Ive stopped at many spots for Jerk and he is the best I have found around (even Scarborough) the spice is always on point. Seen some people complain about being too spicy, its JERK its supposed to be spicy.

5 stars, not enough. The curry chicken is the best I ve ever had, jerk chicken, pork amazing. Every week I go back, it s the same perfectly cooked, full of flavour and alway fresh food. The only regret, is when I eat what I set aside for my lunch.

The most authentic and delicious (spicy) beef patty Ive had in a looong time. Rohan was so incredibly nice and personable.

A real taste of Jamaica in small town Ontario. The jerk chicken was exquisite- moist and tender but packed a huge flavour punch. The rice and peas were cooked perfectly - not dry or mushy. The beef patty was top notch and there is a unique selection of Caribbean drinks. The owner Rohan is friendly and knows how to treat his customers. Don t live in Cobourg but will definitely be a regular here.

Stopped by yesterday and they were closed. Google says they were open, their front door said they were open but the store was in fact closed. Unfortunate as I drove far out of the way to come here. Will NOT be back.

Went to Cobourg Beach and randomly met people eating jerk chicken, so we had to check it out. Food was delicious and service was great. 5 stars!!! Will be back!

The food was good but way over the top on hot, hot, hot spicey. Also the price was kind of high for what I got. $17 for 2 chicken legs and a tiny bit if rice is steep. I would love to return, but I wont because the food was literally painful to eat. Tone down the hot spices and I might even pay the $17 for jerk chicken and a pop again. Service was both prompt and friendly. I just cant take the heat and Ive had ghost peppers, twice, on purpose. I can make better tasting food at home for a better price.

Went to Colbourne beach and discovered this place. So good! Would definitely go back next time I visit this town

Excellent pricing and service for amazing food! We have been served by the whole family and have excellent experiences with all of them! First you are greeted with a huge smile, as you walk through the door. The place is small and bare but dont let that decieve you. I have been to Jamaica at least 15 times and have explored Carribbean food from Bellville to Milton. The Jamaican Patty House has the most authentic food and brings you back to the island itself. This is a MUST try little gem.

Is this restaurant still open . Went there this afternoon, nobody inside . There site indicates open til 7 pm. ??

The patties are pretty good. Meat filling is decent. Pastry is fluffy. Owner and staff are nice. Spiciness isnt as spicy as Id like, but its good. At $3 a patty, it is a bit more expensive, but being the only Jamaican place around it has the premium.

Patty was good but was disappointed to find out they have a supplier so dont make their own. Also the shop could do with a bit of a spiffing up. Looks closed from the outside.. but I would go back to try something home made.

Im a Cobourg local for over 2 years now and I can say with confidence and certainty that this takeout eatery is the best value in Northumberland county. The patties are good but theyre not the flagship of this place. The OXTAIL dinner on beans and rice are made IN-HOUSE and is to DIE FOR. For 14$ youre getting a great authentic Jamaican dinner that you can barely finish - I could barely finish it and Im 220lbs.
