Great prime rib. Delicious butterscotch creme brûlée BUT the acoustics are so horrible its extremely difficult to carry on a conversation.

Service was terrible slow. Trying to order desert from waitress someone put their body and arm write across in front of me and took dirty plates. My sandwich was soggy on one side like Melba toast on the other. Ceaser Salad had very little dressing and tasteless. We paid $94.00 we live in Cobourg and we re very disappointed . Parking: Lots of parking

The Prime ribs were particularly good. The atmosphere and service were impeccable.

My wife and I enjoyed a very good lunch, on the Patio, at the Mill Restaurant, yesterday. The Patio is very spacious and well shaded, for an afternoon lunch or drink. My wife thoroughly appreciated her tasty hamburger, while I was very pleased with the generous portion of meat, in my Reuben Sandwich. Furthermore, I must point out how impressed we were with our Server, Connor. He was very friendly and quite knowledgeable of the offerings on the menu. I highly recommend you try The Mill for lunch. Best of all, you dont even have to golf, first! Herb T.

Meals are always great, was very disappointed with the dead plants inside between the tables.

We used th Mill in May 2024 for a wedding and could not be happier. The food was excellent the staff was so helpful. Would highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

My sister recently had her wedding at the Mill and it was everything we had envisioned for her day. We had an intimate group in their Loft space which was the perfect size and ambiance for us. We worked with one of the Mills employees, Steph Davidson , to plan the wedding beforehand and she also executed the evenings food and beverage service for us. She was wonderful to work with and had all the details taken care of. The food, service, decor and overall experience was one we would highly suggest to anyone looking to hold an event in Cobourg!

Very quaint setting. Really friendly and efficient staff in a great old mill setting. Great daily specials all well priced. Menu has something for everyone.

The atmosphere was good if you were in the dining room. Unfortunately even though we had a reservation there was nothing available in the dining room and we were directed to the downstairs bar where it was very cold. The food was ok but it was not a very pleasant experience.

Lower level not easy to access or egress for patrons with motility issues. Prepaid meal, tip and tax priced okay. Captive bar rates seemed excessive.

We dined the week between Christmas and New Years in the pub. The restaurant was booked for a private event. We thought it might be too much for the staff to cover both areas, boy, were we wrong. Absolutely stellar service and a delicious meal. We stayed much longer than we anticipated because we were having such a good time. Staff went beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Highly highly recommend. :)

Very quiet and inviting space. Food was affordably priced and so delicious. Will be returning from Oshawa.

Room was used for a Celebration of Life. Very Cordial staff. Parking: A large gathering for our event meant limited parking however vehicles seemed to come and go very steadily. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to enter and exit the building. Wide doorways allowing for easy movement for wheelchairs, walkers, canes or crutches.

Our family came from out of town so thought the Mill would be a perfect place for our last meal as it has always been the best place in town I was so embarrased to have brought them there. The music downstairs was old country and loud as was the party in the room diectly behind us We were unable to hear each other The food was also below average I was very disappointed and would not recommend it

The Mill is our go-to! We took the kids for some golf yesterday and had a nice meal after in the pub! The kids love the chicken fingers and fries and we had the pulled pork tacos which were awesome! The staff is always super friendly and helpful!

First time here and will definitely be back again soon! Had the Buddha bowl and chocolate lava cake with ice cream for dessert. Sat outside on the lovely patio and had great service.

Great service and good atmosphere. However a relative was hit in the knee with an errant golf ball while sitting at the end of the balcony. Protective netting should be installed immediately. Due to the incident the whole meal was compet for the 6 of us from the GM. Thxs very much.

Our waitress Chloe was fabulous! They have renovated the place since I have been in and have done a great job. Food was amazing! Overall fantastic experience. Also got some info about the upstairs to rent and seems really reasonable and very nice upstairs. May look into it one day for sure!

Lovely place for lunch, especially on the covered deck. Warm and friendly service with an appealing menu. The veggie flatbread was excellent, and very filling. There is ample outdoor parking, with wheelchair or rollator/walker access. Reasonable prices. Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian options Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to the covered deck in the back or through the main entrance facing the parking lot.

I had out of town guests and had sent them the link to see if there was food that they liked. The menu on the website doesnt indicate that there is a separate smaller menu on Sundays. Although the food was ok , it wasnt what my guests had decided on. Also, there is no indication that the main door near the parking area wasnt open. One guest has a serious mobility issue and had to walk a considerable way to enter the restaurant. Better signage is needed so people can park closer to the entrance being used. We will not be returning.

Went to a small wedding here. Outstanding food!! Nice venue but a little cramped for the number of people that there was, definitely recommend this place!

Service was non existent. We had a large group for dinner after 9 holes of golf. Food was good, but not great. Bartender had to keep leaving to help the waitress deliver the dinners 4 plates at a time. The organizer of our group (35 guests) personally took the food orders from all tables.

Prime rib was amazing.....curry gquash gnocchi was so good. It would be nice to end my meal with a good coffee cappuccino or late, unfortunately you dont have the means.....

Three long time girlfriends getting together for a nice meal and lots of conversation. We arrived by 5pm and ordered a beverage while deciding our meal choices. Our server, Brandon, was very good answering our many questions since it was our first time here. We were not rushed at all, very relaxing atmosphere. Our appetizer was tasty and the main meals very good too. If our water glasses were getting low or coffee was finished, our server was there refiling. All in all, we are happy to have discovered The Mill and definitely will return.

Enjoyed a birthday luncheon with a small group of family members. Service and food was excellent . Parking: We arrived for a mid-day lunch so had no problem finding a parking spot.

I went to an event in the upstairs loft space recently and had an incredible time. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The Atmosphere was bright and inviting with lots of space to mingle. Overall we just had a fantastic event. Thank you!

We had an amazing experience at the Mill for our staff holiday party. Organizing the event was very easy and The Mill staff were very organized. The room was ready when we arrived and the service and food were both excellent. Highly recommend for all events!

Relatively new to the area so I havent eaten here yet, but we just came back from the hot chocolate and smores walk and it was really nice. The host was friendly and accommodating and it was a fun outing when so many things are unavailable.

The Bouillabaisse was to die for. Not a lot in size but delicious.

Very restricted hours. The place closes before 7 pm. Many people are wrapping up their last business meetings/ calls at 6:30.

This is a great venue for an outdoor wedding. Our sons wedding was held at The Mill in May 2022. The grounds are beautiful; patio is very nice; and indoor seating is great. The meals were delicious. Staff was very accommodating and not even the big thunderstorm disrupted plans. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Our party of 8 (started out as 6 but staff handled the change with no problem) had fabulous food and service last night. All meals were delicious and the staff were great. We ate downstairs in the pub area and couldnt have asked for a nicer experience. Thanks so much guys for all your hard work!

We recently had our wedding at The Mill. The event coordinator Stephanie is simply amazing!!!! She was so organized, experienced and overall an amazing person to work with! Stephanie / Amelia (GM) and the staff were so wonderful throughout this whole experience! The food was OMG delicious and the venue was perfect for our day!!! We cannot thank you enough for letting us take the day to decorate, arrange and have such a wonderful experience!!!!! Definitely would Recommend for any event!!!!

We were a group of 9 old friends who met for lunch. The venue is cozy and we were there on a blustery winter day but we re nice and warm. The local craft beer was tasty and our meals were delicious. I had a hamburger and fries and both were excellent. Crispy hand cut fries and a generously sized burger made from beef locally sourced. The fries were cooked well and the burger had enough fat content to make it delicious. Other people had the beef dip, fish and chips and a chicken club sandwich. All excellent. My wife had the fish and chips and couldn t eat it al. Our derive was great and our server Brook was outstanding. All in all a happy bunch.

We got married here in October 2022! Stephanie and Amelia were so incredible to work with, they made the planning process a breeze. The day of, Amelia worked her magic and brought everything together perfectly. We have had so many of our guests tell us how much they enjoyed their meal, how beautiful the layout and decor was, how great the bartender was! and overall just how much fun they had the whole time. We re so glad we chose The Mill for our venue. Highly recommend!

We just had our small wedding at The Mill. Amelia, the manager was sweet and helpful. Planning the wedding there was made easy and laid back. We love the ambience too. Dinner tasted great! The staff was very friendly. Were looking forward to going back for date nights and the patio!

We recently had our wedding at the Mill and Amelia and the staff were so helpful and supportive through different iterations of pandemic wedding planning and last-minute weather considerations. The Maple Grove was a dreamy ceremony space and the champagne reception went smoothly without a hitch. We appreciate the flexibility of everyone at The Mill and thank them for providing a wonderful venue for our special day.

We had wings to start and 3 different mains. The wings were good, the one fish and chip dinner had some soggy mushy fish, the other was good, crab cakes were ok but the hamburger was a disaster. Emily is a good server and treated us well. The food was no better this time than it was a few years ago when we visited Cobourg. We may golf there again and possibly have drinks but no food.

The staff are what makes this place worth returning time after time. Always great service, consistently delicious food, in a charming atmosphere. Whether you re on the large, scenic patio, the lower level pub, or dining room overlooking the golf course, it s worthwhile.

Lovely staff and great food, especially the crab cakes. The negative review is from an ignorant conspiracy theorist and is completely irrelevant to the golf course/restaurant/bar. My husband books work lunches here regularly and its always great.

Adequate food selection, great beer selection. Waiting staff was adequate. Fish and chips were ok others enjoyed their selections. Nice spot just a little something not there.

Had our company Christmas party there last evening. It was busy and we were a large crowd of 23. The food was excellent, the decor was lovely and festive. Shout out to our servers, I wish I had gotten their names, but they could not have done a better job. Thank you for helping make this a great night! Merry Christmas to you all!

Awesome wedding last night! Service was great, food incredible and wonderful atmosphere.

The food and service were exceptional. The price for some items can be a little to much. For example a burger with lettuce tomato onion and fries is $16.00. If you want to add fried onions, cheese or bacon each item is $2.00. That said everytime we have been to this location the food and service always exceeds expectations.

Always liked the Mill, especially the pub in the basement. Barking Squirrel on tap is a big plus.

I have visited The Mill twice now and I felt the need to write a review about this lovely restaurant. When you walk in you are greeted right away with a welcoming warm energy. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. I also loved the style of the building.

This place is located right next to a golf course. Grounds are beautiful. There is plenty of outdoor patio space with an upper deck (at ground level) and a lower patio area. Food is delicious but br prepared to wait for about an hour till you get your meal. I had the Farm Burger and with Sweet potato fries but I reccomend ordering the fresh cut home fries. Also recommend shaved roast beef in a bun. Ample parking available.

BEST burger in town. The beef they use is unreal. Really good sangria and outdoor patio spaces. Cool, old building too.

We had made a reservation for 730 and were infoed that food orders would only be taken until 8, which we didnt mind, but good to be aware of. Service was pleasant, however when asked if we could add garlic to a pasta dish, we were told that the kitchen was too busy to accommodate modifications; which we thought was strange since we were the last table seated that night, and more so since the request was simple with just a bit of garlic. Moving on, the summer salad we ordered was fresh, good flavor, generously portioned, however, the other appetizers we ordered (crab quesadilla and pork carnitas) were a joke, poorly presented (especially the crab quesadilla) and lacked any flavor whatsoever. The grounds of the restaurant are beautiful, and once again service was friendly and prompt, just dont expect amazing food for the price. Nachos were good.

I think I just had the best Mac and Cheese in my entire life. Beautiful setting. Excellent staff.

Held a wedding ceremony and reception here. Booking and setting up here was fantastic. The food the day of was delicious and the options provided made sure that there was something for everyone. The staff provided by the venue went above and beyond what they were asked to do. Would highly recommend booking events here.

Good food and staff, great place to use for meetings and banquets

Was there for a large group meal. One of our party was missed with her meal and it took at least 15 minutes for her meal to come. Everyone else was finishing their meal and dessert was served almost immediately upon receiving her meal. Coffee and tea were both served with dessert but a long time afterward. And no refills were offered. The steak and chicken meals were both good tasting and texture was nice for a group meal. My place setting only had a salad fork at it. Overall experience was probably about 3 1/2 star.
