Great family brunch and meeting place between toronto and trenton. We have been going for years and the staff and our server always remembers us, treat us like family and is very sweet. Keep up thr good work.

Waitress was best part, very kind funny and helpful.we had breakfast and it was great. Prices were rather high tbh but I guess thats same as anywhere else right Parking: Large lot, tons of room for larger vehicles aswell. Thus place was really good a couple years ago... we waited for a coffee almost 15 min...attention is not the. Best and food its okay....we miss the old times.

I want on Friday last week order chicken sovelaki dinner the taste wasnt the same as it use to be horrible and the garlic bun with it had molds and I showed them then they just changed it to rye bread never going there again bad food quality

I go to Whimpys 1 to 3 times a week and every time I go everything is great prices are reasonable everybody s very friendly lots of parking in the back. I went to Whimpys s for all you can eat fish and chips with my brother. We both enjoy that it s only available on Tuesdays.

Great breakfast with large portion under $10. The pancake was absolutely perfect.

We stopped here for lunch. Could not be more dissatisfied. My wife and I observed a member of the kitchen staff grab food ( bacon) and place it on our plates with his bare hands. We also viewed him place condiments for anothers hotdog order in his palm and carry it across the serving area to place it on the hotdog. From his bare hand!! Disgusting!!!

Could use a visual update a bit worn, good staff good breakfast, routine and consistent.

Just spent an hour here for lunch. The manager (or owner, maybe?) spent the entire time yelling at the chef. It was like dinner time in a broken home. Food was pretty bad. Burger was freezer burned. Pretty bad experience overall.

My youngest bought a house around the corner and suggested we head out for breakfast. We have Wimpys in Oshawa though not nearly as large and clean. Food was fast and efficient the service was polite and quick. Not a single complaint. Enjoyed it very much

My girlfriend and I went for breakfast around 10am on a Thursday. There was about 9 tables of people and only one server: Rose. What an amazing server! Even serving the whole restaurant by herself the service was extremely friendly and prompt. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating about substitutions as we dont like eggs. My only complaint would be about the booth seats having tears in them, not a big deal and it kind of goes with the retro diner vibe anyways. We will definitely be returning :) Parking: 22 parking spots

I went to this restaurant the waitresses are very polite and helpful. but there is a chef he seems from india who has no manners. please remember that canadians have manners if you come from india and are in canada you must have manners. That Indian man received me when I entered the restaurant and was rude to me.

Ate breakfast here today. Food was brought out maby 5 mins after ordering. Entire family got sick within 45 mins.

We stopped in at Wimpys in Cobourg for breakfast this morning and it was one of the best ever, the service was great, the coffee ever better. Great job to the staff there.

Breakfast was perfect. Monte Cristo so cheesy with piled high ham, poached eggs correctly cooked and fluffy pancakes with bacon. Server so fast with kids meal, helped us keep track of time and super friendly. Kid-friendliness: Lots of food for kids, could have shared pancakes. Plastic cup with lid, crayons and coloring menu......

We had an hour. The server was on it...we made our time line and enjoyed pancakes for a child. Server had his food out first, we had eggs perfectly done and monre Cristo....great start to the day. Clean, organized and lots of parking

Never again! The time before last I had to ask wait staff to remind Cook to wash his hands. And the last time Ill ever go the cook was so busy unmasked with his phone while making my food he forgot the bacon on my burger. Nope!

I was here today for lunch. Rose our server was so friendly and made sure that we had our food quick and kept my drink filled. Very clean and welcoming. One of the best Wimpys locations I have been to. I was disappointed with the new pickles but still a great burger and a go to spot when you want something fresh

Had no beer even though they advertised they did the salad on both dishes were unedible and charged me a tip on my bill I seen later plus I tipped ill never go again to that location

Food was good but prices did not match the menu. Omelet sandwich $6.00 on the menu. We were charged $7.00.

Havent been here over 5 years ago now but still same friendly and caring service. The food is also still great as always, this place hasnt skipped a beat. Will definitely return more frequently. Highly recommend Parking space

Wasnt overly happy with the food. A few things where overcooked and the hollandaise sauce was lumpy. Was in a bit of a rush and where hungry otherwise would have sent it back.

My family and I have always loved Wimpys, but this location has completley changed that opinion. We witnessed an employee scooping icecream with a scooper and proceeding to remove it from the scooper with her bare hands, during a pandemic!! The owner wasnt wearing a mask where costumers could clearly see him, and the food was below any standards. Our 10oz hamburgers were more like 5oz burgers and the white rice with the chicken souvlaki was yellow...? There was no dressing with it aswell and the ceaser salads consisted of lettuce, dressing and croutons and that was it. Not to mention we payed around $80 for around $40 worth. All in all, our family will not be returning. Its sad because its the only Wimpys in our area, and it used to be our go to restaurant. - Not Impressed Costumer

The food was great, and so was the service. We went around 5pm. We had the patio to ourselves.

It was ok. Soggy tomatoes and got my order wrong. The server was sweet though.

My dinner was good and the service was good but the only downfall was that my fries werent as crispy and my sister didnt get her garlic parmesan on her chicken nuggets and my mom didnt get her sauce that she needed for dinner.

This was my first visit at any Wimpys. I was impressed. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Valerie and Raylee the servers were also really nice! I came for a quick breakfast and was in and out in 30 minutes. Exactly what I hoped for. Also the other customers were pretty nice too! cheers to Cobourg Wimpys! Note that the cook didn t have his mask on but he s been double vaxxed so it s totally understandable that it gets hot in the kitchen and he wants to take it off. They were also really receptive when I mentioned he should have it on for the comfort of others anyways.

Late lunch on a Sunday. One other table occupied. Waitress gave us our menus and went back to sweeping the floor. After a wait, we went to tell the young woman we were ready. She acknowledged this but continued to sweep the floor; went to fetch a dust pan; finished sweeping and then dropped by to take our order. Major fail. Food was OK but service needs work. Not happy.

If I could put 0 stars I would. This place is a joke. We are living in a pandemic and they cannot keep their cutlery and dishes clean. We received a cup covered in lipstick and absolutely no remorse for this blatant disregard for health.

Used to be our go to wimpys . Now theres a new owner or cook or something ut they dont do dollar fries and portions have shrunk drastically . No more value for your dollar. Will not be back .

Food is sub par ordered a spinach omelet and it was frozen spinach so i didnt eat it..place looks dated and unkept..servers are good here so i give it 3 stars for decent service

Service was the worst service Ive ever had and they werent even that busy. The waitress was more interested in chatting and snacking than making sure her tables were taken care of. My eggs Benedict were hardboiled and and the hash browns were crunchy from being raw.
