Xperience - The Restaurant in Cobourg

It’s a nice place, from the atmosphere to customer service. I will definitely wanna try to have the Xperience again.

Our families celebrated a recent retirement dinner at the Xperience Restaurant, Northumberland Heights Wellness Retreat and Spa. We had our own private dining room, looking out on the southern sweep of the countryside and Lake Ontario beyond. The room was beautifully prepared and the food was delicious and served well. We would recommend this experience to anyone seeking a perfect evening of dining. Our thanks to Mona and her team for their efforts to make the occasion most enjoyable.

This hidden gem is a must for a romantic dinner minutes out of town. Lunch also. The staff are absolutely amazing. I booked the private room for 16 people for my wife's birthday surprise lunch and everything was just perfect. The view to the lake is outstanding from inside and from the huge patio. Great menu choices including an amazing burger for those less adventurous.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but let's talk Mother's Day brunch. Folks, when you charge $55 for a buffet (a realistic price for Mother's Day), one expects a professional buffet. THE GOOD: Service is excellent, atmosphere is lovely. Live music is a great touch. NEEDS WORK: The buffet needed serious help. An omelette station is a great start, and the Thai green curry was good. However, the selection was lacking. Mother's Day is the busiest foodservice event of the year, and restaurants pull out all the stops to compete. From a professional foodservice and safety perspective, cold foods should always have a sneeze shield, and be elevated. Placing them on folding leg tables with no labels, right on face level for children with no shields over the food is unprofessional. I sensed that this was their first attempt at a buffet. I hope they take this feedback constructively, from someone with many years' experience in foodservice. The potential is there; they just need to remedy some key issues to justify their price.

We celebrated my mum’s 70th birthday in their private room. The room and the table were decorated beautifully to provide a lovely atmosphere for my family. Mona was extremely professional, attentive and her communication throughout the planning process was exceptional. Nothing was too much for her and she accommodated my every request. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and we would not hesitate to return again for another celebration.

Nestled in the beautiful Northumberland countryside just north of Cobourg is a hidden gem @nheightsretreatspa where you can experience an incredible and delicious meal at their restaurant Xperience ( they offer breakfast 🍳; lunch; tea and dinner) as well as spa treatments; yoga and various therapies. You can enjoy a day spa package; overnight and other packages to explore the area. In summer there is a beautiful patio which overlooks Lake Ontario. If you’re looking for a nice break in your day it’s a perfect destination.

The Xperience was truly an experience for the taste buds! The food was great and the service was superb. Not much more to say as your palate need to have journey and that Penny's service was excellent. ALSO, for an establishment that's adjoined to a spa, ambience is a must and it is giving.

The Xperience was a five star experience A delicate indian fusion cuisine perfect for this unreal place The location is aprox 15 minutes far away from the village but you are in paradise ! The service is very personalized and our waiter was incredible : a jewel in this frenetic world I had a Niagara rose winery wine that i really liked, a chickpea salad very good and a tasty bowl with lot of vegetables well well done !!! Dessert was excellent The portion are very generous I loved the dinner amd my soul is perfect in this place
