Server was rather rude and didn't seem very friendly
I hate to leave this review as I have worked in fast food industry. But with that being said there is a certain standard in which you should be treated as a customer. I walked in this store being the only customer and the lady came out from the back didn't even say hi to me, I had to say it to her and when I did got nothing back in return. After I ordered I came and sat at a table to eat. While I am eating there is a male employee mopping the floors ( I understand that) but what I don't get is that he has to push past the chairs on the other side of my table to get into a corner to mop which had no dirt, so disrupted me for no reason. Then this same male employee then made the subs of two other customers with again NO greeting and the whole time looks miserable. If you're going to have no care please don't work in this industry. Was not the best experience.. not even a nice experience.
The old sub shop experience is no longer there. Days of caring with pride and joy into services is slowly disappearing. People are not into working for the joy of the job and I can see where A.I. is going to take over.
The women working at the store on King St in Cobourg was super slow. I had to wait almost 20 minutes before placing my order with only 2 people in front of me. Either hire more people or put someone faster by themselves.
In my 15 break window, I am able to drive to this location, order my sub, and be back at work. I can’t not express how amazing this is for my lunch. The staff are awesome and super friendly, food is Mr Sub quality.

The good was fresh. Service was also very good. The staff is friendly and understanding. The place wasn't busy which made it easy for our experience. Clean washroom and well maintained. The ordering online doesn't work for this location and they NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE so we cannot place orders. Something they should fix.
this is the best mr sub in the country i won’t eat at any other the bread is always fresh the subs are always amazing just like i remember eating back in the day! whenever I am in this town this is the only place I eat. Even if my STAY is longer than a day I will have a sub a day. Thank you for keeping it old school good!!

I got awesome multi grain pulled pork with chipppolie sauce grill great taste and my husband got double smoke meat with subway sauce hot microwave oven. Friendly Staff plus washroom well maintain of cleanliness and good fresh smell compare to other Subway.

My favorite sub my entire life. Came to this location with my mom when i was a kid. Just came back 30 years later and still tasted that same way. Buns are a little smaller. Thats ok. Love Mr. Sub

Good spot consistently made well subs
We decided to buy subs for dinner tonight. All I wanted was a flat bread with grilled chicken and cheese. It was not flat bread I got one slice of cheese and rotten chicken. Thanks Mr Sub never ever be back. Thanks for giving me food poisoning

Great selection of quality fresh breads, fresh meats with all the possible works and dressings make that very stop-and-go unforgettable ! The daily special is well explained if you want. Clean, clean, clean. You trust quickly the polite patient and fast working people wearing gloves, and smile on their face, with protected hair. They walk the extra mile for your needs. Unique discrete quiet atmosphere, nobody raise their voice in there, intimate, and you dont feel crowded ; warm paint colour, nice comfortable wooden furniture, great seats, beautiful indigo light fixtures, European looking, great windows to look out, while you dont feel people are looking in! nice touch. I actually enjoyed it. The staff made a great sub for us lots of fresh vegetables and the meat was plenty we really enjoyed our sandwich.

What a wonderful submarine sandwich restaurant! Wow, Mr. Sub is such a Canadian icon! I mean, the large assorted on cheese bread, extra cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, banana peppers, extra sub sauce, mayo, salt and pepper ...and the true secret, are you ready for this? A bit of pizza sauce on top of the meat! Come on now, dont knock it until you try it! ...simple atmosphere and some amazing and friendly employees work at this particular location! Great work Mr. Sub! You rock!

Always clean. Good fresh produce in their subs and wraps and there is a good assortment. Love the soups and the House Blend coffee. Most of all, the staff are always friendly and helpful.

We just took our kids here for dinner after the beach! Our subs were made amazing! The place was very clean including the bathrooms and a very nice man that worked there bought my little ones some cookies after they finished! Definitely a nice Mr. Sub location!!!
