Second Saturday in a row I left without ordering. Last weekend only one person working so it appeared and the wait was taking a while. one person in front of me and one at the checkout. I thought it was a one time thing how long it was taking last week, so I went today basically the same time as last week. No other customer was in the restaurant. Same person working there, but was someone in the back. I stood and waited, but he was filling an order of 5 subs by himself so I was completely ignored. I guess they were called in. I will never return to this subway again.
We just happened to stop here on our way back to Toronto. From the perspective of the food, this Subway met our expectations. However, I wanted to mention the service at this location. We ate in the restaurant and we met the most pleasant woman here, manning the store with another gentleman. She was very friendly, making sure we were happy with the food and seemed to take her work seriously but with a smile. We had to let her know before we left what a treat our experience was with her. Nothing like we'd normally experience at home. I wish I could remember her name to thank her.
Best bread EVER! Always perfectly done not over cooked. Ingredients always fresh and tasty. Excellent service friendly and fast. Highly recommend!
Great food, and very clean inside. Also, the employee who made my food (Harsh) was very kind, professional and he always has a smile. Amazing fellow. Everyone should go to this Subway!
Extremely disappointing. We bought 2 subs, spent over $30 and asked for a cup of ice as my daughter had a broken thumb and the staff said we had to buy a drink to get ice. He then got very aggressive with my wife and made her cry. We will not return and may consider not visiting Subway in general going forward due to other cleanliness issues at other locations.
Would avoid this subway in cobourg, there’s another location that are much better. The price of everything has gone up I get that, but when I’m asking for 3 veggies and you put maybe 6 pieces of green pepper on…had to continuously ask can I have more please. Barely any sauce on it, so dry. What a waste of $26 This location is close to my work, but I think I’ll drive across town next time. I’d recommend you do the same
Amazing. Clean store, food quality up to mark. Service was above and beyond. Great place to have a subway.
Will go to another location next time. Ingredients were usual and the overall location seemed in good shape however the girl working didn’t listen when putting sauces (too much), asked for chicken noodle soup (got potato), then found a (probably men’s) hair in the potato soup I didn’t want in the first place. Will think twice before going to this one again.

Standard subway. Its not a bad thing - you get exactly what youd expect. The employees where nice and my sandwich was made correctly. This is an aside, and not the fault of this particular restaurant - the new brisket sandwich is way below average. Do not buy it, over priced and under flavoured.

On the night of April 21st I was served by an absolutely wonderful human. My wrap looked incredible and I was so happy with my service I decided to write this the second I got in my car!! She deserves to know who welcoming she was. If I live in port hope and it might be worth driving to Cobourg for this service! Thanks :)
Went in last night late after a hockey game with kids. One being very. Very high energy, low focus. Took us forever to make a decision. The employee was nothing but patient and polite. This was our first time at this location and now we will be steering clear of the port hope one where employees are rude when my son bounces as he says what he wants on his sub. (Autism.ADHD)

This was my second time coming to this subway recently and I am disgusted by the attitude Teal has given me. The first time was back in April and both times he has completely given me the impression that he doesn t care to be there. Tonight I even heard him whisper thank god when I responded saying that was all for my order. I am not much of a reviewer, I let it slide the first time but was disappointed to receive the same attitude tonight.

just paied 26 dollars for two specialty subs and got a mouthfull of steak on an entire 12 inch sub. Wont be returning.

One of the staff came out from the behind of the counter and started sweep the floor near the table I was having the sub, kicking up the dust in the air. It wasnt a pleasant experience. Now, I have stomachache after I had a foot long meatball sub.

I dont go to Subway very often but I had coupons so mom n I decided to try their chicken wrap. It was delicious! We would definitely get it again. The service was excellent as well.

Subway seems to be falling hard in terms of quality, meat is mush, bread is hard and chewy, vegetables are soggy, portions and price are ridiculous. Bathrooms are not very clean either.

Visited this store the other day and decided I cant go to any Subway in Cobourg again (all are owned by same person). The service was good to this point, but my updated rating is totally justified after my aggrevating experience here recently. Walked in - one employee was taking payment at cash, another was standing behind counter filling single serving cups of sauce. She ignored me, didnt acknowledge me, and so i assumed since she was wearing an orange uniform Id never seen before, she must be a trainee that couldnt make subs on her own. Then, once the younger girl was done at the til, this lady in the orange shirt directs her to continue filling these oh-so-important cups and then finally acknowledges my existence. Seriously, it took over two minutes for all this to happen, maybe three - no exaggeration. How long does the franchise deem it acceptable to ignore a paying customer (with their dog tied up outside) when theres nobody else in the store? The service was fine after this painfully long wait, though I feel she put far less beef on the sub than any other Ive ever had. In short: the ignorance is unacceptable. Having worked in service, employees have 10 seconds or less to acknowledge a customer when theyre the only person on the store. Really, 5 is too long in my opinion, and Im not one of those snobby types either. Especially when youre obviously the person in charge like this lady was. Continuing with a non service-related task is like telling a customer to F off - thats exactly what Im going to do from here on. Mr Sub on Burnham has great, attentive and friendly staff, and they dont count toppings while theyre putting them on either. Adios!
3 people working and only one serving customers, toaster wasnt working, vegetables are soggy and dont look appetizing, prices are also off. Would go to the one on King instead.
