Fun place, its cool that theres a live band on sundays, as well as free pool. Food is decent but service is horrible, especially on Sundays. Seems very weird to have 1 server (who is also bar tending) or 2 on wing nights..

Always reliably good food!

Saw a comedy show here, fantastic food even though it was extremely busy and staff were awesome.

The food was terrible ...had the worst quesadilla and fries ever. Couldnt even eat it. The manager was rude and disagreed with me and would not waive the 20 dollar meal from which I ate one bite from.....never experienced a worse manager in 40 years...do not eat there....the condiment containers were filthy as well. The good waitress should move to another place of employment.

Unfortunately the food {poutine and beef dip} was not very good.

Picked up the tab for a table of 6. Paid by CC. Left 10% tip which was reflective of very average service received. I left after paying and manager goes to table and says the guy who left paid but didn t leave a tip. My wife was still at table and immediately asked to see receipt. Manager then backtracked and said well he didn t tip enough. We want this server to stay with us. The lying by the shift manager was disgusting. Then to have a business, not a customer decide what an appropriate tip is? Wow. If you want to keep employees around, then pay them. That is not the burden of the customer. It speaks well of the Venue to have such a quick response to this review. Well done. However the response does not address the most egregious issues mentioned above: dishonesty (tantamount to fraud) of the manager, and basically thinking a business can dictate what an acceptable gratuity is.

Great staff, friendly and professional. Better than normal bar fare food though they have the best wings in town. Great place to sit and watch whatever game you want on tv.

Great BAR food

Went there for a bite after work. They have pool tables that are open on Thursday. Played some pool, played some Golden Tee. Service was good and friendly. They have lots of tvs with all the sports channels. It was karaoke night as well, not my thing but the cult seemed to be enjoying themselves. All and all run bar.

January 27, 2024 Absolutely disgusted by the stripper Giving lap dances to both men and women and having her breasts exposed Couples were fighting , people were leaving Married couple going out for a night on the town and don t need this to cause problems and complications in The relationship Your establishment is not one that I along with a lot of People that share the same sentiment would be returning to!

First time at the Venue, fantastic live music, food, and service! The best place in Cochrane is just my opinion.

We ordered delivery. Full ordered of Nachos was huge. Was delicious too. Added beef and it s seasoned well. 10/10 for nachos. Hit the spot. Now the turtle cheesecake .-3/10. Tiny and not very good. Very underwhelming for 9$ a slice.

One of our main go-tos for a local night out. Delicious pub fare and a good selection of beers on tap. Karel, Janet and crew are friendly, professional and efficient. 5-stars.

Wow i was missing all the fun times till now, the place is just amazing

Ordered delivery. Could be 5 stars if the portions werent from a childrens menu. For $17+, you should get more than 9 wings. About $2/wing is a ridiculous price if you ask me. I remember when bars sold wings for ¢25 each. For $18, I expected more calamari. Out of all the restaurants Ive bought from in Cochrane, these are the smallest portions.

Best wings in town

Our band was live music for this year s NYE event at The Venue. The management was very generous and kind. It was a memorable evening and a very fun event! Cannot wait to be back!

Great home made coleslaw and big portion on all of our orders with very reasonable price. The French onion soup is yummy , although a bit saltier than my like.

The brunette server here has propositioned my husband into an extramarital affair twice now whilst we have been here as he was smoking outside - we are not going back! I think this is the red light district in Cochrane apparently! Really classy!

New menu with very reasonable prices. Just had their breakfast, very well made and good quality. The staff is always great .

Wings were top notch, was in a Wednesday night there was also name that tune and bingo tunes going on. Made for a great evening.

My experience here was not great. It took ages for our food to come out, and when it did it wasn t very good. Our waitress was lovely, when we saw her. I ve been told that my experience isn t the norm, so your mileage may vary. Food

Walked in ordered coke and fish and chips. Never saw the food. After one hour I asked and nobody even knew who was serving me!! Horrible service. Guy beside me sits down and 5 mins later his fish and chips come.

Ordered honey garlic chicken wings. Flavour was, good, chicken was not dry. Small Side order of Caesar salad. Perfect amount of dressing, and portion size. Service excellent VLTs Live Band Bathroom.. needed work. Half stalls not in working order. Ones that did work has hardly any toilet paper. Paper towel to dry hands..sparce. Under New Management. A day ago. Possibly with new management maybe some upgrades.

We went in for lunch. Ended up getting the Sunday wing special. The wings were nice and crispy, cooked to perfection. . The dry wings were perfectly seasoned. The wet wings had lots of sauce. We will definitely return.

Parking: Really limited parking when busy. Cannot be changed, however. Worth the stop. Food

We recently visited from Ontario. We decided to try this place after reading their menu online. They have lots of options. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the value was even better. Definitely recommend stopping in if you are looking for a good meal

I went there for lunch about a week ago. The place was busy with just one poor server working. I ordered burger and fries. Fries was soggy and looked like it was cooked in 2 weeks old oil. The burger toppings were fresh and yummy but the patty was so overcooked and dry, it may as well been a hockey puck. Never had a good experience with their food and will not be returning after this.

Me and my husband absolutely love this place. The food and atmosphere here are amazing. The owners are so welcoming and very friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants to come for a dinner or night out on the town.

The food was absolutely delicious and service was incredible. We got all our food super quickly and it was perfect. Sawyer was our server and he was super nice and made sure we had a great experience. Would recommend!

I only got a few drinks here, so I cant speak for the food at all. However, the service was great, friendly staff and we got refills on our drinks super quick! No complaints at all, and would definitely come here again!

The Basa fish was battered with potato chips, so was nicely crunchy. 2 pieces of fish with chips for Friday special at $11 is a good deal. Well go back.

Best wings I have triedin town!

I was excited to try out the venue and was sadly disappointed. The food was great but the service was the worst!! Our waitress, Megan, was a nightmare. Attitude, and acted like we were an inconvenience.

Sheldon the server/bartender literally made our friend s birthday night better than expected. He was friendly, relatable, and was professional throughout our time there. It wasn t as busy when we came, and so I thought it was going to be a bit boring per se- but because of his service, it made our night completely. The venue has a great asset that they certainly should know and recognize.

My husband and myself have been here countless times. Its our go to place in cochrane for date night. The food and drinks are great. The daily specials are always a good choice if you cant choose. Daily soup and sandwich special is always something tasty, filling and thoughtful. The staff is always friendly and make you feel welcome. Just a great local place to spend some time. If sports is your thing, large tvs line the walls with a great variety of games and ppv to enjoy. VLTs, Live music and events are regularly offered.

Great little spot if you are in Cochrane or just swinging by. The staff are A1 and the Gm even took some time to check on me and visit as inwas swinging through. Highly recommend this place for aeal or a night out

The food wasnt the greatest for pub food. My mushroom swiss burger was so dry and the fries were fried once to many. I will definitely try another time and hope for better food.

Very overpriced for average taste 150$ for 5 people The pierogies were too soft and not crunchy at all. The smoked meat in the poutine was black and over cooked. Rest of the poutine was fine. The Sicilian pizza was also over cooked, which made it very dry. The tacos were great They ran out of tomato juice for the bloody scissor drinks. They were heavily understaff with only 1 waitress running around. The food took forever to arrive and my table had time to go through 2 beers. Must of been at least an hour. We arrived when it was sunny and food arrived it was already dark outside.

Service was great and so was the food. Only issue I have is that there is no handicap parking that I could see. In a wheelchair so need the extra parking room as I access my chair from the side.

I like the brisket. Really good food. Prices are reasonable. One of my all time favorite sports bar. It is what it sets out to be. Good service.

Terrible place to go. Rather spend extra money for a place that offers great music, offers great food and offers at least service . This place does NOT offer all of them consistently. Reading the other reviews seems to be a hit or miss place and this time they missed again.

Went for Friday Fish and Chips. Some of the best I have had! Excellent service. Wish the bar took google pay. Luckily my father in law had his visa card! Also water at the entrance needs to be fixed. Will definitely go back.

Ordered 2 burgers and fries ..take out ..both burgers did not match up with the description; Jalapeño Popper Bacon ; nothing in burger as described, not correct bun, no pickle Double Double Cheese; nothing in burger as described, not correct bun, no onion ring. Both burgers were way overdone, very very dry maybe if they were stuffed as advertised . I know maybe small inconveniences BUT for almost 40 bucks? PS fries were good

Prices are very reasonable compared to others using covid19 to jack up prices. Our server was very nice, promptly serving us as food was hot. We will be back.

First time here and OMG the food is beyond amazing! The atmosphere is peaceful and the music isnt played too loud so you can still enjoy your conversation. Our server was also extremely knowledgeable with the food selection but seriously all the food here is a 15/10! This place is a must for dinner
