The first salad I had was a bowl or lettuce with microscopic sized add ons. The second time I went Adi the guy working never acknowledged me walking in, I noticed he was cleaning and taking online orders, after about few minutes of standing in front of him I left.
I love eating out at delicious restaurants all over the world, and have been especially supportive of Cochrane restaurants here locally. I came in on October 3rd in the evening to get a falafel bowl. As Google often asks me to post reviews, I must say that The person handling the cash and service is unfit for the job. He was grumpy to begin with, and not very hygienic as he put on gloves that first fell by the cash register. Portion sizes are smaller than expected as I saw others mention that. I'll make it simple ,need to do better . Beef doesn't taste like beef , ugh. Quantity is good but just not what I expected, kinda flavorless even with (MAYBE) extra sauce ,rice under cooked . The basics people
Chopped Leaf has always been my go to for a healthy lunch salad bowl when I’m out in town and when I’m visiting other places that have one so it upsets me to see how this company had changed. Noticed last year that the portions were getting smaller on certain ingredients and family have commented on this too. Had a salad bowl yesterday at Cochrane AB location- should have suspected something was up when the spinach leaves were on top and boy were there a lot of them. Once I had sifted through them I could just about glimpse the other ingredients and try and find the extra chicken I had added. Please see the picture I uploaded of the quantity of the other ingredients. Shocked at how little was actually in my bowl. What a disappointment Chopped Leaf. Prices gone up and filler leaves. You just lost a loyal customer and family members
Just had one of the Bowls for lunch today. First time in over a year. What a disappointment . The size of the bowl seemed half of what it was in the past and what it should have been.. A few pieces of spinach, a few cranberries and chic peas and a couple of slices of chicken. These bowls used to be big enough it was hard to eat the whole thing. I was left hungry with this excuse of a Bowl. The dressing had no taste and was slick and oily. It’s a goddess dressing but it could have been a plain vegetable oil for the lack of flavour. All for a hefty 16$. Nope. Won’t be back ever.
We hosted a community bbq and chose the Chopped Leaf to cater the salads for the event. We ordered 6 bowls for 80 people… there was a small amount left. We ordered the Caesar, Signature and Sunshine salads. People were extremely happy with the salads and wanted to know where we got them. Quality and quantity, as well as service were wonderful! Highly recommend.
We ordered 80+ bowls today for a Teacher's appreciation lunch and it was a hit. Feedback from school: The staff loved the lunch. The food was delicious. The order and delivery was extremely well organized and smooth. Definitely worth repeat business. Thank you Erin and Rahul... you rock!
Can't get over the portion sizes, pretty ridiculous. I added a soup for just under $6 and it was honestly 4 spoonfuls of soup. The wrap was also very small. Ingredients were good, as was the taste, but for $20 I expect to be full.
$16 for a teeny tiny chicken Caesar wrap is criminal.

Staff are friendly but made a mistake on my order, argued with me stating I ordered a wrap which I did not as I read off the menu, emptied warm and now dressed lettuce (out of spec) from the wrap into a bowl. When I asked if the lettuce was cold and crisp, they said it was, and I checked and confirmed it was warm and wilting to the touch. I m asked for a refund or to have it remade, and said I d be in my vehicle with my dogs, and I returned five minutes later to staff pointing to my salad on the counter. Many missed customer service opportunities and I won t be back. The salad was good.
Wow! These are tasty filling salads. Love the bowl with rice and that peanut sauce has a wonderful kick too it. A throughly enjoyed meal was had by yours truly, Sam:)

Quite Expensive and not the fastest service. They don t have much competition around for healthy options though so that might be part of it.
Lettuce was not fresh. Poor quality chicken is used. Toppings were scarce.
The Local Review in Cochranes favourite community paper, The Cochrane Post: rating: Dine-in, takeout, delivery. I don t usually eat at chain restaurants and this was my first time ordering a bowl . I decided to review this business since so many people told me how good it is. And they are right! Easy parking, pull right up out front Miss Betty and I came over on the e-bike and it was nice to have a bike stand right out front. Clean, open and bright with lots of booths, tables and windows. When I arrived just before noon, there were a few people seated, a couple of people picking up orders and just one person in front of me. Easy to read menu with photos of dishes that are available as a wrap, bowl, sandwich or grilled quesadilla, with lots of add-ons like guacamole and extras like soup. They also have the really good and guilt free potato chips, the deluxe heathy chips from Hardbite with less fat and calories and just as good as regular chips (and only 3 points on WW if you know, you know!). Mihir was working alone, he s very fast, knows the menu well and gives excellent recommendations. I went with the Harvest Bowl. SO GOOD. Fresh, tasty mix of savory and sweet on warm brown rice that s so good and almost tastes kind of creamy, with nice variety in flavours and textures, crunchy fresh veggies and pecans. Satisfying portion, just right, excellent value. I m happy to recommend.
If i could give my meal zero stars i would. The lettuce was extremely old and wilted, the chicken was dry, and never have i seen such extreme lengths taken to minimize a good amount of sauce on a meal. Very overpriced for what small portions you get and service was sub par. Do not waste your time ordering from here.

Super disappointed in Chopped Leaf Cochrane today. Customer service was friendly but when I got home I realized my sunshine salad was made with lettuce (not mixed greens as advertised), and there was no avocado. I saw the salad maker scraping an avocado while making my salad so not sure where it went but it definitely didn t go in my salad. I live a half hour away so not going back to get the order fixed. For 15.75$ for a salad, I would hope you would get what you order but not today

They always polite, good food, fair amount in saladas and wraps, even during Covid they were the nicest and open restaurant in town. Good for you to be a friendly restaurant all the time.

I had a VERY specific craving for a chicken Caesar wrap from a restaurant that we don t have in Cochrane. As I was driving around trying to decide where to go, the chopped leaf magically appeared right in front of me as I sat at the lights. I went in, they had a chicken Caesar wrap on the menu, and I went for it. Guys, that wrap hit the spot like you would not believe. It was exactly as good as my dream wrap in Calgary. 10/10 will be getting a chicken Caesar wrap there as often as possible. Staff was also very nice too :)
Every time I visit Chochrane, Chopped leaf is my 1st choice to do lunch. Nice and clean environment. Friendly staff and quality of food. Next time you visit, dont forget to try bawl#4 on the menu. Highly recommended!

The food was good but I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Listening to the manager yell at and berate his workers in front of customers was unpleasant. Besides that the food was good, just wish I could have enjoyed it.
This place was awesome Clean, welcoming, friendly staff! I have a gluten allergy and they took alot of care with cross contamination, even though the staff are new they knew alot! Ill be stopping here alot!

Super food and service
Visited this location for the first time last weekend and I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of service. Ive been to a few different Chopped Leaf locations and have encountered some issues with service, especially with regards to allergen food preparation. This was certainly not the case at this location. I notified the employee taking my order of my gluten intolerance (I am a celiac) and asked about their gluten free offerings. I was told of many of the different options and reassured that the preparation would be careful so as to eliminate some of the cross contamination concerns. I was very happy with their dedication to keeping my meal allergen free. I took one of their suggestions and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch (I think it was bowl #3.). I will definitely be visiting here again when I am in need of a quick bite, as it is almost impossible to find a quick safe GF place to eat. Overall, very happy with my experience.
