When you call and ask about the food and how to order it for two people and they just give you a butter chicken bowl and tikka masala bowl which is enough chicken and sauce for 4 people though there s no rice. No meal, waste of money. Idk if we just got the wrong person on the phone, bad service. Unhappy customer.

We have eaten here quite a few times and everytime it has been outstanding. If you have a craving for curry Jaipur will not disappoint you. The selection of different food options is fantastic we try something new each visit and have enjoyed every dish.

This is a fabulous restaurant and they have a pretty decent wine list. You will get great service here as well. The naan bread is to die for. All of the meats are cooked perfectly. The sauces are rich and flavourful not oily. Excellent everything. Definitely recommend it!

Always delicious, the service is always wonderful. Easy parking in the back and on the street. They have a patio but we have always eaten inside. Its a pricey place but perfect for a special night out. The portions are meant to be shared so we will order 2-4 dishes with some rice or Naan and share. The fish pakora is always amazing and all of the Currys are delicious. Vegetarian options: We didnt get much but as with most Indian cuisine there are a few paneer dishes. So, its not vegan but suitable for vegetarians (and anyone else who loves paneer lol).

Small family run business. Greeted as we came in and seated right away. Staff were friendly, attentive and informative. We ordered Vegetable samosas, Garlic naan, Aloo Gobhi, Butter chicken, Saffron rice and Saag. Food was prepared fresh, hot and very tasty. We shared amongst 4 people.

This is by far the best Indian cuisine we have eaten! The tikka masala is so flavourful and the chicken is cooked to perfection, every time. Our kids enjoy the milder butter chicken, samosas and naan bread. And we end the meal with mango lassi for a sweet treat! Our family can t say enough good things about Jaipur: from the welcoming and attentive service to the delicious food, we would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The staff is so accommodating and usually spoil our children to a small treat!

The only Indian food that tastes EXACTLY like it does in India! Fully authentic, never had a bad meal or experience!

Walked in at approx. 7 pm. Very quiet on a Thursday night. Quickly seated and ordered naan, rice, saag paneer and lamb rogan josh. All very well seasoned and prepared. Service was prompt and courteous. Quite a loud table of 3 next to us who swore through their (and our) meal.

We ordered a variety of dishes for take-out tonight, but the standout by far was the beef curry. The beef cubes were lean and tender and the curry sauce was spicy and complex, super delicious, well get this every time we eat at Jaipur - the best Indian food in Cochrane.

Bu far the best Indian food Ive had in Canada. Bhuna Masala is my favorite. Tender meat and flavourful sauce. The garlic naan is amazing!! Service is always excellent.

Such a nice surprise in the area! The food was amazing, the flavors were incredible. It s hard to find good Indian food in Canada but this was perfect!! The service was great as well, super friendly staff that made the experience enjoyable. Extremely reasonably priced for what you get which is a plus. Would definitely come back anytime!

I ve ate Indian food all across Canada and this place is in my top 5. Excellent flavour and quality ingredients. Portion sizes are a bit small but expected to be at higher quality places. I ll come back next time I m in Cochrane!

Here s an honest review of Jaipur. I visited around evening dinner service. We were greeted by The server and he was nice. Though he had an minor objection to the ice cream I bought in, which is understandable. I asked him to store it till I m done to which he said he will let me take it to the table. So thanks for that. He did come back pretty soon to take our order and give us water. We didn t have to wait at all. The ambiance was very nice and calming too. The food however was horrible. The starter was a pakoda. I don t know why they have such poor recipe. Pakora is not just a huge chunk of chicken breast boiled and fried with batter. The one I ordered was just that, boiled chicken coated with a batter. It was also frozen in the centre. Had to be sent back. What came after that was a microwaved soggy pakoda. I have grown up around authentic Indian food and what they serve is nothing authentic. Hire better chef. Next came the butter chicken which had the same boiled chicken breast chunk. It was ok at best. Butter chicken is made with chicken thighs and not boiled chicken breast. The bread was tasty. Though the garlic naan covered in garlic instead of the tradition smudge of garlic. But it s still better than it s predecessors. The restaurant and location has potential but the main factor is food. If that s neglected there s no reason to come back and dine or recommend it to others.

One of the worst Indian restaurant in town , we ordered chicken biryani and Jaipuri Shrimp Curry , it was one of the worst experience. Food was bland with no taste ! Please avoid ! There are many better choices in our beautiful town.

The restaurant is overhyped, we tried it first time and food was below average. Naan bread was good but curries can be better.

Great food, atmosphere and everything every time we go there.

Look no further than Cochrane for an authentic taste of Indian cuisine. The menu is well thought out with plenty of choices for a selection to please any palate. The service was SUPERB! Our server was attentive without hovering. The food arrived piping hot and in generous proportions - enough for a satisfying meal and sufficient to pack up in take home containers for a repeat feast. The decor for the dining room is tasteful and serene. The music was representative of traditional Indian music but with a slightly Western touch. Parking can be found on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant. Trying it once will warrant many repeat visits.

Delicious food, friendly service

So we just tried this place for the first time as it is closer to us in North Springbank than our usual haunt, Moti Mahal. What a culinary journey it was!!! We had the best Lamb Rogan Josh that we have ever had tender meat in a delicious made by your East Indian Gramma s sauce! The Jaipur Shrimp Curry was gorgeous and the sauce was outstanding! The Chicken Madras Curry was so tasty and the chicken was very tender! We ate our meals at a medium heat and it was just right! We had the Kachumber Salad and the Spicy Onions to go with so refreshing with our meal! The Naan was wonderful and the Papadum were lovely with Jaipur s homemade Mango Chutney (best chutney I ve ever had!)! We were simply astounded! Everything was super fresh and homemade! We were utterly delighted and now, Jaipur is our new and only haunt.

We had an amazing experience in Jaipur. It started with beautiful decoration of the place, very pleasant service and music. Most importantly, the food which we choose was delicious, most likely the best Indian, which I ever had.

We want to send a huge thank you to Sanjay for a wonderful take out supper. The food is always spiced to perfection and such tantalizing flavors. We are always happy to support this local business where the big flavors match the big heart behind it all.

Best curry house in Cochrane!

Ordered first time ONLINE. Great food. Tried almost all naan they have on menu. Very good taste. Unlike another indian restaurant in Cochrane, they got picture posted online and thats REALLY help in understanding what you are ordering. Ordering system over online work perfectly. Overall good and authentic taste. Highly recommended. 2 not so good things; 1. I just couldnt find dessert anywhere online, not sure if I miss to see it. 2. Option for mild spices is really not so mild, may feel very spicy especially with wine.

Amazing dining experience at Jaipur Indian Cuisine restaurant in Cochran. The first pleasant aspect of this was the drive in from Calgary on a beautiful clear day with the Snow Capped Rocky Mountains glistening on the horizon. Walking into the Jaipur India Cuisine restaurant is like being transported to India itself! The wall carvings, statues, and every aspect of the decor reaches out to you. As this was lunch, I simply had the butter chicken with garlic naan bread served on an attractive tray. The sauce was incredible and the herbs and spices tantalizing. Wow do they know how to work the herbs and spices. Amazing!

Hands down #1 best Indian food in the Calgary area. Just as good as the Indian food in the UK ! The owner was really nice and attentive. The food was delicious. The only one small negative thing I could say was the lights kept buzzing/flickering and needed a little maintenance. I Recommend this place to friends all the time !

Food was very good. The restaurant itself is very cute. Cozy dining area, luckily it wasnt busy or it would have been a little cramped for my taste. The service was extremely slow and I dont like to have to wait for water refills. The food was too spicy for the kids but my lunch special was delicious.

Our first time ordering take out from Jaipur. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was lovely and there were complimentary desserts in the bag! My entire family were happily satisfied with the tasty food and 3/5 of them are 7 years and under!

Love Indian cuisine!

First of all I am really not a review writer and this is the first time I am writing review about a restaurant since I felt so cheated by this place Jaipur India Cuisine. We went to this place to celebrate our anniversary since both me and my wife are from Jaipur Rajasthan, India. Knowing that I am from the place this restaurant is named after will help other people understand that I know what i am talking about. I was very excited to see Paneer Pakora and Missi Roti on the menu (one of my favorite dishes which I have been eating since childhood) and ordered them right away. However I was very surprised and shocked when the dishes were served and I had first bite of them. These were definitely not fresh cooked and not tasted anyway near they should be. When I gave attention to details, I realized and 100% sure that these items were purchased as frozen items from an Indian grocery store and served to us just heated. I am sure about this because sometimes when my wife is away, I too buy these items from Indian store and heat them at home by myself. That s why I know how an authentic dish tastes like as well as how does a frozen one. Please don t get fooled by other good reviews like i did. Majority of these good reviews are from people who may not have gone to any Indian store ever in their life so everything tastes great for them without realizing what they are eating is not fresh and authentic. Well my experience with this restaurant really hurt my feelings which made me write this review. A bad service is something I have always tolerated but cheating is a different feeling altogether. Don t know about anyone else who even after reading this review still wishes to go to this restaurant to eat cheap buy from Indian store served to you as hot fresh cooked authentic Indian delicacy but I am for sure is never going back to this place again to get cheated.

This is the 2nd time had a curry from Jaipur and I enjoyed every mouth full loads of flavour and spice chicken was really good not like the other frost burnt chicken curry house in cochrane if you want a good curry this is the place it would of been 5 star but no popadoms on the menu

A quaint and cozy restaurant. Overall, great experience and no complaints. definitely worth the trip to Cochrane if your an Indian food lover. The service that we received was wonderful, the restaurant only has about seven tables in total so you are guaranteed to get attentive service. The staff were friendly. Despite the small dining room you did feel like you were given your space and the staff was not lurking over you. All food and drink arrived within 20 minutes of ordering with adequate time between appetizer and the main course. I had the Tikka Masala with garlic naan and saffron rice. The Tikka Masala ranks with some of the best Ive eaten. The garlic naan was delicious, made with real chunks of garlic that you could see on the bread and not overly greasy or buttery like some places. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of the flavour you receive. A word to the wise though, if you go with a friend an order of rice will be enough for two if youre ordering naan as well.

Favourite restaurant for Indian food hands-down. Great service everytime, delicious food, pretty decent prices compared to other restaurants Ive tried. Usually eat in but last time I ordered takeout, and they even included a complimentary dessert which was super nice! Highly recommend.

What a snorter of a curry we had here!!!!! Had a chicken roganjosh hot and it was at its limit in heat that you could taste the spices. Fantastic. Then the hot chicken vindaloo. Wow!!!! Well it was hot let me tell you. And to think they have a suicide one. Have not had a hot vindaloo like that for a long time. I was dripping service was friendly and good. Food arrived in good time. Going back for sure

Visiting Cochrane after few years and it really grown up.... but not this restaurant we came here in 2012 and it was ok but now its really bad. we told them we cant handle spicy food still our food was my kids didnt even eat at all and unfortunately have to stop to McDonalds after the dinner. server was ok but he didnt pay any attention what we said...... Not recommended and not going to be back.....
