1st time at Potpourri Bistro for brunch this morning. We had the Short Rib Eggs Benedict and the English Breakfast. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be going back.

FOLKS, THEY TAKE PARTY ORDERS!!!!! Had a party of around 40 pax and Potpourri catered for it, we asked multi-cuisine ( Indian, Continental and Oriental) food and the food quality was amazing, was more than sufficient (could have been for 50) for my guest and for the best price. Id highly recommend them for catering orders, have wide range of options (ours were off menu dishes). Oriental and continental were for appetizers and Indian for the mains. *** Google wont allow second review , so doing it via an alternate email***

Went for thanksgiving dinner almost $30 a plate , We really looked forward to this. Unfortunately turkey was very dry Brussel sprouts were like rocks, stuffing resembled croutons mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. And I think they bought the pumpkin pie at no frills. But one positive the soup was good.Most of our food went in the garbage. Waitress never asked if everything was ok after seeing almost full plates returned. I don t usually give negative comments about local businesses but this experience was extreamly disappointing. I posted this on there Facebook page but it looks like it has been deleted. Not a good way to start a business in a small town. Needless to say we will not return

WOW! I had the veggie omelette that not only is the best omelet I ve ever had - it was actually a reasonable price, too! Then, top that off with the smart and well read server, Kaili, and you have THE best breakfast place my kids and I have ever been in Cochrane!! Side note: both kids finished their plates - no leftovers .. that never happens (especially with great portions! Lol)

The soup was average but what I didn t like at all is not properly cleaned out shrimps , which had a taste of fridge , I guess it was stored cooked and uncovered in an fridge for a while , and chicken breast was tough and not fresh as well , which is strange to me as to cook shrimp for a soup and tiny chicken breast pieces don t really take a lot of time. One star is for broth , another one for wontons

Just dined for the second time at the new Potpourri Bistro on 1st street (519 1 st w unit 109) tucked in beside Little Cesars. Came for breakfast which was amazing (crab cake bendedict yummm!) and then came back again for dinner cuz yes I am a glutton and also because there were so many scrumptious looking items on the menu I had to give some a try! The menu is so varied there is something for everyone and everything my husband and I tasted was amazing! Finished off my meal with the triple chocolate mousse because if your going to be decadent why not go full CHOCOLATE! Won t need to eat again for a week but it was a great way to start my fast. . I highly recommend y all check out this new kid on the block! You won t be sorry!

Amazed at the food options here. Both times for brunch, lunch and we all were really satisfied. Creative and tasty food, good prices, great service, lovely atmosphere. We will keep coming back for more! Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options.

What an Awesome Gem, a short drive from Calgary. Exception service and the. food selection was great. Our waitresses was incredible and the prices are reasonable. The breakfast menu is especially recommended.

My fries were way overdone. Like they were fried twice. The beef dip sauce was not good. The service was excellent. Great ambiance.

One of the best breakfasts I ve had in a very long time. Everything was perfect from the eggs to the black pudding. Jenn was my server and she was awesome. I will 100% be back.

We stopped in because it looked super cute and ended up having a great time! The food was good but our server, I believe her name was Jenn, was so kind and provided great service. We were so happy with our experience!

Tried this spot on a whim after hearing about it from some friends. We went for a late brunch and had the Crab Cake Eggs Benny and the Full English Breakfast. Our server was wonderful as was the food. I typically like to wait 3 or so months to try a new restaurant out to let them work out the kinks, but Potpourri is already a well oiled machine. The quality, service, ambience and even prices are better than the other breakfast spots in town that I ve tried. Can t wait to go again and try more menu items.

Popped in for Brunch on a Monday, it was fantastic!! We enjoyed every meal that was ordered. Our server Jenn was very attentive and just so sweet overall. We will definitely be returning!

I wouldn t suggest going if you re indigenous. The reviews were nothing but good, the food looked so delicious and I was so excited to go for brunch today! But as soon as my husband and I walked in we were just met with an unwelcome vibe, the lady that was working there had a very rude attitude and just overall gave off bad vibes. When I asked if we could take a look at the menu beforehand she seemed visibly annoyed, then she gave my husband a snarky response when he asked questions about the drinks menu. It s like she didn t want to serve us. If the restaurant was busy and she was flustered then I would understand her attitude towards us but there were only two tables occupied.. definitely ruined my outlook on this restaurant. So I took my money to Smittys where I was met with happy hellos and good service!

Great new restaurant with a wide variety of food choices. I considered the beef dip, crab cake benedict, crab and avocado salad or wor wonton soup, but ended up with nasi goreng which i really enjoyed. Potpourri offers a nice alternative to a pub style setting with good food and friendly service. Our server Tanis was efficient without being intrusive and quick to respond to our requests. I look forward to visiting Popourri again.

Was looking for a good breakfast place since moving to Cochrane several years ago. Ive gone to a few places around town and have been disappointed with their food or atmosphere. Ive been into Potpourri several times since they recently opened and have not been disappointed. They have great food and reasonbly priced. They have a great variety of options for breakfast especially and food preparations are well done and fresh and hot. Staff have always been friendly and helpfull. I will definately be bringing friends and family back.

I am from Calgary, and I was visiting Cochrane to meet some clients, and I had heard a few of my friends talking very highly about this new restaurant that has opened in the vicinity. Since I was around, I definitely wanted to find out what the fuss is about after all! I kid you not, this is one of the best continental cuisines I have ever tried after Rise & Dine Restaurant in Calgary. The portion sizes are generous, the service is quick, and the food tastes absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend the Potpourri Club Sandwich and Wor Wonton Soup. #support_local

Slow cooked Beef shortrib with Mash and mixed vegetables was very good. Nice n tender with good flavor throughout the meat and the sides.

New restaurant in town and had heard good things about it from a few different people. The service was great,very sweet girls and fast service. Clean dining room with cute decor. The food was tasty, unfortunately,the tomato jam seemed to be missing from my Vegetarian Benedict which I was very excited to try , and my soft poached eggs were hard. It was tasty just not as yummy as I believe it was intended to be. I will definitely give it another shot. A much more relaxing environment then other local breakfast joints for sure.

We recently visited Potpourri Bistro the newly opened restaurant in Cochrane, and were very impressed. We tried their breakfast menu and were delighted by both the food and service. The cream of tomato soup was amazing. I had the beef dip, which I could only finish the first half. Portions are big and the flavours were bold. The chef takes great pride in all the food they prepare.

Joined my brother and sister-in law last min. for a cuppa while they had lunch. Such a fab, waitress, she was professional, friendly, with a great sense of humor. Their food was 5 star and we got to sample the soup for the dinner menu, formidable.

Our first time here at the new Potpourri Bistro in Cochrane. We could tell right away the place was CLEAN, Bright & Cheery! We had 3 couples (6 people) in our group. With the exception of 3 of us having the Fish & Chips the others had; Penne, Butter Chicken and a Beef Dip. The Waitress ( Sukhi ) was 10 Stars out of 5 Stars! She was friendly, informative and right on time wise! Besides that, she is a professional! Finally add in that she was so nice and had a fun personality too! As the Face of the Business she makes it easy for us to want to come back! The Meals were all rated excellent as were the drinks! (Several Glasses of Wine, Non Alcoholic Caesars & a Coffee). I only wish I would have taken pictures to share! We will be back soon! We all fully recommend this Restaurant to everyone especially those who are hungry and love a good meal! Jim

Have been there several times. Food is good, really hope they do well. Have even picked up food to take home. However, I was surprised at the cost for a very small container of soup today to take home - $10.00 for a tiny container of soup that would not even fill me, let alone my husband. Too pricy.

Delicious flavourful Hot food.. seasoned perfectly. Had crab cakes soft n delicious, main course beef short rib, tender, tasty AG sauce and well done sides mashed and veggies. 70$ bill with tip. Definitely worth it ! Thx you chef and team.

Checked out this place as there was lot of parking space. Came here for breakfast and had Crab Cake Benedict. Egg was perfectly soft with delicious hollandaise sauce. The menu is quite diverse for a bistro. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
