Strike 3. Really want to support our local pub, but the food keeps coming up garbage for us. Paid for our dinner that we didnt eat, went two doors down to get something hot for takeaway.

$30 is pretty expensive for 14 winglettes. Short staffed.

Service at the bar is nonexistent I ve been there numerous times but the service is awful. One worker or owner drinks all the time at the bar and you are totally ignored. I have once again left without service and gone next door to the Wing House which is awesome, with pleasant staff and quick service as soon as you walk in.

Absolutely the best chicken tacos ever! Friendly service. Wait time was a bit long but they were busy so it was understandable. Will definitely go back.

Terrible service. They made us wait for over an hour and finally told us that the kitchen thought the order had been canceled. I will never come back. Terrible, one hour later. And the place was almost empty.

Sat at the table for 15 mins without an acknowledgement, a hello or a drink order before asking someone behind the bar if we could have service. Drinks were cold, food was decentt- but the service was despicable and beyond slow. There was an acoustic band set up and it looked like the staff was far more concerned with partying and socializing with eachother and regualrs then they were actually looking after their tables. We sat, and sat....no one ever checked back to see how we were or if anything was needed. We asked for the bill twice. Our server then proceeded to completely ignore us and roll silverware and take selfies and videos of the band. We had to walk back to the bartender (mind you was the ONLY person, who actually looked like he cared). He explained to us that they were short staffed and that they got slammed. Sorry, no excuse. Your server is just too busy not being attentive to paying customers and actually doing her job. Would NOT recommend.

Modest pub food for a good price. Blt and burgers were great. Fries are great.

Food was pub fare and decent, however general atmosphere was sullen and lacked invitation.

We are not from this city. We entered, were seen and asked for our drinks and received more than 30 minutes later. We ordered our meals: salmon with rice, fish and chips and Alfredo pasta with shrimp. After 45 minutes we came to tell us that there were no more shrimp. We choose something else. In total, we were served 1 hour 45 minutes after placing the order. The place was not crowded. It was a Tuesday summer evening. About ten customers and the waitress was alone. The food at least was good. But having had our meal very late after our arrival, we were disappointed.

My friend and I came in for our birthday lunch. The fish and chips were very good. Only complaint was no cocktails on the beverage menu but not a huge deal. The food made up for it

Really enjoyed the all day breakfast in this pub on April 20, 2024 when stopped over for quick bite to eat in Colbourne while on long drive between 2 cities. Very friendly female server/bartender. Actually, the breakfast was so good I may go to Colbourne just to eat in this pub again.

There was a 45 minute wait for breakfast and we were the only ones in the place! Food was not very hot either! Waitress was nice the cook had a problem! Will not go back!

Great place to eat. Food is very reasonable priced and portions are a good size. Butter Chicken is amazing, but be prepared for some heat. The liver is melt in your mouth and smothered in mushrooms, onions, and bacon. Waitress is very pleasant and checks to see if everything is OK or if anything else is needed. Parking: Parking can be a problem depending on the time of day. The parking lot is behind the building but not clearly marked. Street parking is available.

Have eaten here a couple of times. My favourite items from the menu are: butter chicken (it is spicy), crispy chicken sandwich, and the burgers! The food taste so fresh and the prices are reasonable! Definitely my go to place in colborne!

We did have to wait longer than expected but they were so busy with a fullnoutdoor patio. We totally enjoyed our food and the wait staff were very friendly.

We were passing through and decided to grab lunch here. They were super busy because of a hockey tournament in town, but despite that the service was attentive, fairly quick, and all the food was delicious. Everything seemed to be freshly prepared.... Not from frozen! A very pleasant surprise

Poutine to die for. Homemade burgers delicious, my daughter loved the Mac and cheese. So nice to finally have decent restaurants in colborne

Lovely place to check out with an amazing selection of foods or drinks! The hospitality is incredibly welcoming with all the workers and guests. The environment is blooming with positivity and it s a great location to stop in if you have the time! Compliments to the chef on the Fish & Chips, absolutely delectable! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian foods including the Vegetarian burger, or even vegan friendly desserts like the Vegan Carrot Cheesecake Kid-friendliness: The place is extremely comforting and would be a great choice for a family to dine in or maybe play a game of pool!

The Royal Crown Pub & Grill has to be one of the best pubs that has hit Colborne. I usually travel to Toronto to get an experience of great service and ambiance but John and Jordan make this place what it is. The service and friendly environment make this place what it truly is. A cozy, local bar. Went to karaoke and pleased to see all age groups there. Haven t been to a bar in a long while and felt very comfortable. Special kudos to John our waiter, very nice man. Next comes dinner there soon.

Wanted to try a pub close to home, the service was excellent, the food was good but could be great. Mac and cheese seemed to be cooked pasta with cheese melted on top, I would recommend looking at using a béchamel sauce with the cheese incorporated. Wings were just ok (should be crispier), choice of veggies or fries on the side, but veggies should be offered as part of the meal with fries as a side. Fries were good, bruschetta was very good. Would come again for beer choices and trying different meals in future.

The food is absolutely amazing especially the hot honey and the Cajun wings! Theirs nothing the chef doesn t make delicious. They have karaoke on fridays and a live band on saturdays. It s the perfect place this small town needs to bring great vibes and life! The employees have really great customer service and the bar atmosphere itself is very inviting. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a great time or great food!! Vegetarian options: They offer veggie samosas / veggie rolls /salads /soups /mash potatoes/fries/onion rings/fish n chips /vegan carrot cheesecake Dietary restrictions: They provide lots of different food options and if their is a food restriction a simple request to the kitchen can take of that perfectly! Parking: They have parking directly across the street infront of the other businesses as well as beside the restaurant and down the street there is also a public parking by the circle k. Wheelchair accessibility: Their are no stairs and good sized doorways so if you older or have a disability you will have no problems accessing the restaurant

I was traveling along the 401 and wanted to stop for a bite. The Royal Crown Pub & Grill is about a 5 min drive from the highway so I decided to try them out. Best decision! I was not disappointed and I love when I stumble on a hidden gems. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Wrap - the chicken was well seasoned and juicy. I especially loved the fries, they were perfectly crisp, not too oily or overcooked. You can tell that everything is made from scratch plus its very affordable and decent portions. Ive never been to Colborne so I was also a little apprehensive about how I would be treated. My anxiety went away immediately because the staff were very welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in. As it got later and the place started filling up with the nighttime crowd, I was not forgotten and my server checked on me regularly. I absolutely recommend The Royal Crown and will definitely stop in when I travel along that way again. Folks please dont miss the opportunity to visit this cool spot in Colbourne!

I have been twice. Once we ate in and the other was takeout. The service we received was amazing, she was polite and came back a few times to see if everything was okay. The food was delicious, great portion sizes! The gentleman I talked to on the phone to put in our order for supper was very patient and polite as we had 6 people to order for lol. I will definitely be back again sometime soon. Thank you The Royal Crown!

We did a takeout of chicken samosas and butter chicken, and the food was AMAZING!! I am sooo happy to have found a place close by that serves authentic Indian food. The butter chicken isn t your traditional North Indian style, but man, it was delicious!! The samosas, thought tiny, were flavor bombshells. They have a rockstar of a chef in Raj, and I would urge them to introduce more Indian dishes, if they can! Had a lovely time chatting with Elia at the bar as well and will be back very soon for a Round-2 The fact that the restaurant is open till 2 am is such a blessing. Parking: We went around 10 in the night on Sunday and were able to find a spot pretty easily!

Paid our first visit to the Royal Crown in Downtown Colborne and were so impressed. The food was delicious and was delivered very soon after ordering and was nice and hot. The service was friendly and certainly above average. An all-around pleasant experience we will certainly be back.

What a great place you have. I really enjoyed my lunch visit. Seems as though the locals do too. Our server was so sweet and friendly. If Im ever back that way, Ill be stopping by again.

The food and service was great (we had the butter chicken and fish & chips and its some of the best weve had in the whole county!). Our server was very friendly and treated us like old friends. The patio was spacious but could have a little better atmosphere with maybe some plants and string lights though to make it a cozy outdoor spot. We look forward to going back soon :)

Honestly not a great experience. Went there a few days ago with my friends and our waitress was so rude! She was incredibly sarcastic and kept making rude comments and jokes towards us. Not once we re we asked how s our food? Do we need anything else? Nothing. It wasn t a pleasant experience. Food was great though!

Been here a few times and have always had great service and delicious food. Portions are large especially for the price. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Wing night is good with great wings and fries. Good selection of drinks and the pool table is free to use. My favourite menu items are the Greek salad with chicken or the butter chicken but everything is good. Very happy to have such a great restaurant in Colborne.

I was happy to see The Royal Crown reopen. Pub life was a casualty of Covid for certain. Today, I was hoping for a little more atmosphere, but the Tuesday tacos were very nicely prepared and delicious. There was a good quantity of shrimp, and the vegetables were all crisp and fresh. The service was friendly and accommodating.

Our gravy was cold. Mild wings were very hot. Unedible if you dont like the heat. Waitress never returned to see if everything ok. No list for drinks from the bar. My drink was flat and tasteless. Others that arrive were looking around for service.

Had an old school breakfast with friends the other day. All good. Glad this place reopened. I will be back.

I was driving by and stopped in the way for food. The place was nice but it took a lot of time to order because nobody came to ask. Everything else was good.

We went there for dinner with our 2 grandchildren. At the time, they were working on developing a childrens menu. Although it wasnt ready yet, they did do kid size orders of chicken fingers and a burger, both with fries. As usual, I tried the chicken parmesan, and my wife had a chicken wrap with the broccoli and cheddar soup. The portions are good, and both entrees tasted great! The prices were very reasonable too. On the down side, the music was too loud, and the lyrics of a number of the songs were not appropriate for kids (a lot of swearing, topics etc.). If I can make any suggestion to the owners, it would be to take into consideration your clients, especially at dinner time, and play music that is not offensive, and turn it down so people can talk to each other. Your food is good, and I want to come back, but I dont want to hear songs with f bombs at dinner!

Always good customer service. Nice to have a local pub back open again. But children loudly singing karaoke in the evening when it should be an adult environment...not good. Some guests left because of it. Hopefully management will deal with this or they will lose customers.

Waiter was amazing but the food was awful, cold fish, greasy fries, steak was thin and rock hard. 9pm with children singing karaoke with people drinking and playing pool. Will never go back

Friendly and welcoming an older style pub with some good food. They have Friday night karaoke but they really need to fix the sound setup . (youre on a stage and very tight quarters with only one monitor trying to sing over dozens of people talking with a great big fat TV screen behind you with random stuff showing which distracts from the karaoke purpose. .. its like a pub with background music mixed in.. they really should change this and actually make it karaoke focused and then regular music on a break time only. theres a pool table right in the middle of the floor. In the room they use so combined with the booths and the tables its definitely more of a sit-down hallway style place.. aside from this seems like an all right place. For a couple pints and a place to eat.

Great food and great prices! The fish and chips on Fridays is a must. Delicious, great portion size and the price!! Homemade food. Highly recommend. The service is great and the waitress is hilarious.
