We had two fish and chips platters. The fish was RAW while the batter was hot and crispy, it seems they use frozen fish which does not get enough time to thaw while frying. When I wanted to tell the waitress about the raw fish (just as a comment and not complaining) she rushed to a sympathetic apology before I even spoke, as if she knew the food was bad or that she didnt care about what I had to say so she just rushed to apologizing. Please go and eat at McDonalds or eat a sandwich for your dinner, I assure you it will be better than spending your money at this joke of a restaurant

Great service from Mel and Mary Ann on the lounge. All the food we had was outstanding. The pasta bar is a lively weekend addition. Riley who was working the pasta bar was fast and friendly. The entertainment that night was SOOOO great. Monty was the singers name. I would go back for sure! And the buttertarts. Oh the buttertarts are to die for

Complete rip off portion size is a joke . Seems like they re trying to be a 5 star restaurant but with poor quality food and way to expensive. The manager clearly had no experience running a restaurant or anything in the service industry. the coward hung around in the background about 10 feet away and made the waitress who did nothing wrong apologize and offered a free dessert. With all the great options in Collingwood I don t know why anyone would want to eat here.

The ambience is nice but the food was a disappointment. My wife and I ordered pasta and it was bone dry. I suspect they warm up frozen food in a convection oven and ours was in for too long. I would have been more understanding if they werent +$30 per entree. Theres a lot of other options in Collingwood so I would strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

Loved their breakfast. Good price, perfect quality and dozens of options. Comparing to the nearby sea food restaurant, this one is much better, a thousand times.

The food here is excellent, I have been many times and never had a complaint. They have a good variety of dishes available and the staff are lovely and very accommodating. I recommend this place whole heartedly. Make a reservation at weekend.

Went to Memories last night with 5 other ladies. The staff were great and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated. The Table DHote is a great deal - appetizers, entree and dessert. The Chicken Parmigiano was juicy and tasty and Juanitas home made butter tart melted in your mouth! I have never been disappointed with Memories Restaurant and look forward to going there again.

Excellent service and food. Weve gone to this restaurant for the past 7 years and have had breakfast and dinners there. We truly miss it and hope it will re open soon.

Doug and Nancy We recently held an informal gathering of 12 senior friends for lunch at Memories restaurant in Collingwood. Staff members greeted us warmly upon arrival. We were seated in a private room, well suited for us and our talkative friends. LOL! All choices of food were delicious, nicely presented and reasonably priced.The servers were most attentive and Steve, the manager, could not have been more accommodating. We look forward to planning another social event over lunch again at Memories in the very near future. That is high on our list of a great location and good food. Greatly recommended! Doug and Nancy

Great meal and service lamb was fantastic, steak delicious and the butter tart for dessert was a home run. Exceeded expectations !

Very good food, friendly staff

Went there for breakfast on Family Day morning around 10am. Breakfast was ok for the food. I was prepared to leave a really great tip for basic service but no one actually served us except for seating us and then offering coffee once after my husband had finished breakfast. Meanwhile the table beside us had 2 different servers offer coffee and take care of them at least 5 times between the time my husband and I were seated and actually served. It was only when we were getting up to leave Did a server hustle her way over to get our plates. So ridiculous! Worst service I ve ever experienced. If breakfast wasn t free (included in my stay) I would have left because I wasn t paying to be treated like that. I ve had better service at McDonald s! Not sure if it s race based or just plain being dumb, it doesn t matter. Needless to say, no one there was getting a tip.

Best breakfast buffet open to the public in town. Looking for your fill at $13? You found it. Breakfast runs until 11:00 am daily. Awesome decor, tasty food and very nice staff. Ill be back again ASAP

It was a wonderfu experience having dinner at Memories. The Staff is so good and polite . Very much experienced professional staff.

Bad service and meh food. Not horrible but not the place to go for people used to eat in good restaurants. Theres many really good restaurants in Collingwood.

I was in Memories Lounge, and happened to be there for happy hour and was able to get draft there at a reasonable price $5 for a Canadian. You could also get a pizza there as well for happy hour however I did not partake in that. The person next to me got nachos and they looked really good, however I did not eat anything this time around. The bartenders name was Mary Ann and she was quite pleasant and funny at times. She had just gotten back from holidays and was regaling people at the bar on some of her holiday antics. She was professional but funny. The seats around the bar were full and she managed to keep up quite fine. The bartender made sure to tell me that they had live music there on certain nights of the week I will make sure I go back to listen to some of their live music.

Beautiful set up and professional buffet unfortunately the food was cold

Food was fine, but not outstanding. Waited for over an hour for our entrees. Felt bad for the wait staff who had to apologize while the cowardly manager hung in the background. Someone from the kitchen must have quit, because it wasnt busy at all, so they would not have been over run at full staff. At least we received what we ordered. The couple beside us, after waiting over an hour, received the wrong order. Will not recommend or return.

The food is good and the service is good too!!

Very nice, small restaurant, however the service was horrendous. My husband ordered the steak rare, it came out medium- well. He is not one to complain but this was so far off the cook he asked for he brought it to the servers attention. His plate was brought back and he was told that the steak had been cooked to the requested rare however it had been resting for too long and by the time it made its way to the table it was now a medium- well. He was not offered another steak. He was offered a free dessert. Don t waste your money here.

We went on a Friday night; sat at the bar and enjoyed some live music and ate some ok food. Salmon tartare was delicious but the pizza I ordered not so much. The seafood pasta was ok. The chocolate desert was disappointing. The service was great despite them being short staffed.

Service was terrible. Ordered chicken and both orders came out raw. And then they had nerve to audacity to charge for both raw meals. Very disappointed. One of us got sick and had the runs. Memories gave us bad memories!!!!

I ordered a rare steak and it was cooked medium. I asked the waiter to please return the steak so he took my plate to the chef, the chef told him to tell me to bad and that the steak was cooked rare but because it took so long to get to my table it continued to cook and I have to eat it the way it was. Never again will I go there..

Memories is a hit everytime.

Dinner last night was awesome in every way. All of the entries were exactly as described on the menus. I cant say enough about the lamb shank, delicious. My husbands steak was so good he complimented the kitchen on it. Everyone in our party had a different dessert , each one more delicious than the last. We will definitely return.

Nice fried vegetable, customers was excellent and reasonable prices

Food was good, however my salmon was a little overpriced for the size of salmon that I received. Was with a group of people, the biggest issue was paying our bills separately. It took over an hour for our server to get the bills right, and even after everything none of the bills were correct. All of us ended not paying the right price. However, the manager was awesome to deal with regarding the situation. Would return for the food and wine for sure.

Breakfast was great...but all you can eat shouldnt be a limit for that i will not be back...thay should of told people first...the manger was just mad because his chef had to make lots of mussels...how rude can ya be

Restaurant esthetics looks great. Real eye catcher. Our server emily did a fantastic job being enthusiastic and very entertaining. I ordered a roasted porkchetta. When it arrived at the table it looked very cool and tasted really good. Cooked to perfection. The rest of my family said it was so good it took the words out of thier mouths. I also ordered a chocolate torte and it tasted great. The chocolate went very well with the coconut. I would definitely suggest going here for an evening meal.

We threw a Christmas Dinner/Fundraiser at Memories and it couldn t have gone better! Steve, the manager, was fantastic to work with! He and his staff went way over our expectations with providing us everything that we needed! The dinner was excellent, delicious soup and salad bar and the chefs at the pasta bar were fantastic !! I can t wait to go back again! Because we were a fundraiser they were able to give us a phenomenal deal per plate which allowed us to raise so much more for our charity. Thanks so much Memories for helping us have a fun and very successful night!!

Great restaurant great service

From the greeting at reception to our meal, the service was fantastic and attentive. The food was cooked to perfection...I had the steak. I asked for a substitution thinking they might not do it but it was no problem for them. I enjoyed my meal so much and then on to a buttertart dessert....omg...to die for. Funny how some locals dont think about this place for a dinner option but you really should. You wont be disappointed. My new favourite restaurant.

If youre looking for a halal option the Genghis Khan lamb shank from New Zealand. Food was amazing. Tried 3 course meal. Anchal and shazad are amazing host and waiter as well as Steve the manager very accommodating

The food was really delicious. The staff was very nice and polite, including chef who was kind enough to make modifications to accommodate our special requests.

My husband and I went for dinner and we had a good time. The food is nice but the best was their staff, they were very kind and helpful.

We dined last night in the main dining room of the Cranberry resort.. We enjoyed meeting the new manager. As well, we enjoyed our meal. The chicken cacciatori was good,with lots of tender chicken pieces .The chef might have been a little too generous with the sauce. It was accompanied with a basket of delicious bread and herbed butter.We shared the house salad.Delicious ! I ordered the ricotta gnocchi . Different ..They were breaded and baked..The tomato sauce was flavorful. We enjoyed having Susan as our waitress. She was relaxed and helpful with her suggestions. We wish the restaurant a lot of luck in their desire to attract more local diners.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got the $35 3 course meal and it was amazing!! Husband got the salad and lamb. Lamb was fall of the bone and salad was nice and light. I had the brishcetta and salmon. Brishcetta was light and not on heavy bread. But very tasty. Salmon was moist and well seasoned. We both had the creme brûlée for desert. Great option too! Overall this was the best value for your money. We left stuffed and satisfied for under a $100. Getting that great food and service is hard for that price. For sure recommend!

My boyfriend Alan and I, were more than thrilled by our experience at Cranberry Resort. Cranberry provided a clean and cozy, pet friendly room for our weekend getaway. The pet friendly hotel meant that we could even bring along our furry golden retriever Gracie, who was more than thrilled to be included on our mini-vacay! The staff at Cranberry were super friendly. From our hostess Rachelle, whose warmth and smile welcomed us through the doors. Her expertise and knowledge about hiking trails, beaches and spas were greatly appreciated. To our servers, friendly management, food and live music entertainment, we were very happy! We also enjoyed the pools and did I mention the food?!? Thank you Cranberry for making our romantic getaway from Toronto possible.

Very disappointed in the service and food. Waited for over and hour and food arrived burnt.

Went there last night and we were 6 with no resorvations. The hostess didnt tell us they usually take resorvations only so instead of telling us she made us wait 20 minutes. Went in and finally ordered. It took one hour for our food to get there. 4 of the 6 got gnocchi and it was completely burnt on the bottom. They were very apologetic but we were extremely disappointed. We ended up being there for 2 hours and leaving unsatisfied.

Showed up at Memories without reservation. Instead of telling us that you needed a reservation to come in........they made us wait 20 min to seat us. They did try to accommodate us, but we waited 1 hour before our food showed up, and 4 of us ordered gnocchi, and they were burnt. They had strategically placed the burnt side down then placed sauce on it. This was not acceptable. When we refused to eat it, they did take it away, and did replace our meal with fettuccine (as we were told there were no more gnocchi). I have 2 family members that our chefs, and either one would not have left a burnt dish leave the kitchen. They did give us our fettuccine on the house but after being at the restaurant for 2 hours to get a meal, it really put a damper on our girls weekend. Would not recommend this resturant.

Very good service and great food. I had a reservation and Staff was really friendly. Waitress explained the whole menu after she realized our diet restrictions and helped to choose what we needed. Gnocchi, bruschetta and salad were delicious. Five stars.
