Kid-friendliness: Good vibes with Christmas music Food

The food was really good, the fries crispy and flavourful, and the grilled cheese, melty and cheesy. The service wasn t the best, because the waitresses didn t come right away, but it was decent.

Service very poor this trip,I had to get up to get our cutlery, napkins ,and vinegar ,part of my order I had to ask for ,the waitress put hot plates in front of the small child ,never once did she come and ask if everything was OK, my granddaughter burger wasnt very nice ,nothing was done about it ,waitress did not get a tip .

We came and one order was a $35 rib but was super small. I got the chicken burrito bowl and it was cold and rice undercooked. I heard a few other tables send back food as well. Very disappointed as it s my fav dish at montanas

Have given this location so many chances until I was finally fed up. NICK shouldn t be a server.. he tries too hard to be nice, but in reality he isn t and he s horrible at his job. Should maybe find something not working with people because his attitude is unreal. The food isn t worth it for what you pay, and nothing is consistent.. had so many variations of the same drink each time, you don t know what you ll get. I will never give this location another chance, and it s unfortunate because it used to be my favourite restaurant.

Ordered Nachos...they were good...but thats all I can say that was good....waitress never came by to ask how the food was or if we wanted another drink...so we only got one drink...had to ask many times if the TV could be switched from the golf network to the Leaf game...the guy that brought our food was continually rubbing his nose and beard with his hands that I never saw being washed...when asked if it was super busy the waitress said no....so not sure why she never came by to see if we were thirsty or how the food was?? WHAT WILL FILLING OUT YOUR SURVEY DO???

Dry burger, slow service, i worked in a fry truck all summer, dosnt take 50 minutes for a wrap 2 burgers and poutine, especially such poor quality at that, poor customer service on top of all, not a recommended dine,

The nachos are freaking unbelievable. But it depends on whos in the back cooking. I have gotten them five times now and two out of the five were a bit on the small side like tonight is like another half size smaller than it normally is

Our experience at Montanas was very nice. Our server, Ash, was excellent. She took her time with us, reviewed the menu, informing us of the specials, made us feel very welcome. Service was timely, food was hot, as it should be, very flavourful. When we are next in Collingwood we will be back & hope to have Ash as our server again.

Our first time visiting a Montana s (we are from the UK) and I have to say it was genuinely lovely. Staff so warm and welcoming. Kids had chicken tenders, and I enjoyed the shrimp Kapow - it was so tasty. Very extensive menu with loads of options. Drinks are very reasonable too.

This is going to be a long review, please bare with me. I am visiting Collingwood from Toronto for the labour day weekend. I needed a break from the yuk that has infested Toronto and find a place of peace. A friend of mine who recently moved here said this place is magical! On my first night in I decided to go to Montanas which is a 3 minute drive from my accommodation. As I drove up I was met by Tammy in the parking lot who sadly informed me that the power was down. We had a nice chat and I found out she has a similar last name to my friend. Soon a lovely woman who I have come to know is Anna came to update us on some of the details and alternate places to eat out. I said Id pass and come tomorrow (actually tonight, Sunday). My Server Meagan is a delight as well tonight. I have been to many Montanas in Toronto and the GTA this is by far the best experience that I have ever had. I ordered the full rack of ribs because I did not think I could do the all you can eat. The ribs were tasty, yet there was a small glitch with the order that this restaurant remedied without a fuss. I will come back for sure, maybe just to load up on Halloween decorations and Ribs. Thank you ladies for your warm, and magical hospitality. Two thumbs up, a snap and a salsa dance

Was seated promptly and waited for 10 minutes as no one came to serve us. Ended up asking the hostess if we could have a server. Took another 5 minutes and a gentleman finally came . We ordered our drinks and that took another 10 minutes before we received yhem. We decided to order our food when the drinks were served. Other tables who arrived after us were getting there food and drinks much faster. One family had eat and left before we received our dinner. Have gone to other Montanas restaurants before but this was really disappointing as it was our anniversary

This was my 3rd time dining here. I arrived at 5 pm, and despite arriving as a solo diner in the middle of the dinner rush, I was happily seated at a booth upon my request. I was promptly served by Tiana, who arrived shortly after with my drink and dinner order. Tiana was a wonderfully friendly host who made sure to repeatedly check on me throughout my meal despite being extremely busy! These have been the 3 best experiences Ive had at any Montanas Steak House. Cant wait to visit again, 5/5 stars. Thanks for all your hard work, Tianna! Parking: Parking.

I ordered the 16 oz steak medium rare, and my was well done, no grill marks. Very rough piece of meat. The server was good. Overall not worth what you pay. Salads are also overpriced.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the poor service from our waitress. Despite my expressing my enthusiasm after coming a very long way for the all-you-can-eat ribs, she neglected to offer refills and avoided me throughout the evening. I initially ordered 2 racks of ribs with different flavors, but when the main course arrived, I received only half a rack. Each refill took 30-45 minutes to arrive, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet (on a Friday) with only about 10 occupied tables and several waiters on duty. In our group of seven, another member (male) also ordered the all-you-can-eat ribs. The waitress would only ask him if he wanted refills but ignored me. I had to insistently place my order, and the long wait times meant it took over 2h to finish eating. The experience was miserable and uncomfortable, as it was clear the waitress did not want to serve us and was deliberately avoiding our table. This was particularly disheartening because our visit last year was excellent, with prompt service and fresh ribs every 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we wont be returning.

Dined in and ordered the ribs, fries and coleslaw with their add on of burnt ends. Service was exceptionally slow for a Monday Our drinks were all put down in the wrong places after the server had taken our order Food took a long time and eventually someone came out to say they were plating our food only for it to arrive 15 minutes after that When food was brought out it was auctioned off, who ordered this and where does it go. Ribs, fries and burnt ends were like warm at best Overall would not return.

Came to the Collingwood location on a mildly busy Saturday evening. Waited approximately 15 minutes before Nick was nice enough to pick up our table. Nick was very proficient, checking in consistently to ensure our meal was well and if anything was needed. Overall, great service from Nick.

Went for an early Saturday dinner and were disappointed. 3 meals + 2 appetizers. The 2 appetizers were ok. Burnt Brisket Ends and BBQ Potato Skins. 8/10 Burger combo was enjoyable. 10/10 Beef nachos were ok. The beef was more like a crumbled burger and not appealing to the palate. 7/10 The steak dinner was ordered medium rare and came in at a medium. No grill marks and not palatable. They replaced the steak and it came with some grill marks but it looked like it was boiled first and then grilled for the lines. It was horrible. It was returned. 0/10 The wait staff was wonderful.

Maybe it was a Monday maybe it is normal? Our server did not know we were sat on the Patio until I went and asked the hostess if we had one. The service was not any better from there. The food, lets start with the good. The salad was good as were the wings and kids pizza. Notice a theme here no BBQ listed. The ribs were so tough a knife could barely cut them, why is a steak knife even on the plate with ribs at a rib place? The Grilled shrimp were so over cooked they were crunchy, the brisket on the mac and cheese looked and felt like it was left over from Saturday night dinner dry and tough. It is a bummer that this seems to be the only BBQ place in town other than at Blue Mountain. With all the bad I would have had to go and find our server again as she did not come out to check on the food so we just toughed our way through it. I gave the 2 stars for Atmosphere because we were on the patio and no music was out there so it was just an invisible patio.

We are in town for a hockey tournament and didnt have much time between games. Our server was fantastic, the food we ordered was delicious. We were in and out in less than a half hour. So much better than supposed fast food.

We got take out and the food was terrible. The ribs came in a bag and were very dry and uneatable. I ordered the honey garlic sauce and you could not tell what sauce was on the ribs because they were so dry. The baked potato was dry and had a strange brown tinge- I think the inside of a baked potato should be white. The Canadian burger my husband had was mediocre . The only item that was eatable was the cheesecake.

All food was lukewarm except the fajitas. Cornbread was not served warm and upgrade side of smashers had to be sent back to be reheated. Nick our server was attentive. It seemed that the food sat a while before it reached table, perhaps?

It was a busy Sunday Evening (Mothers Day) but still we were able to be seated fairly quickly. Our server was great, food arrived quickly and was great.
