We often stop at Swiss Chalet in Collingwood. The food is great and the service is always excellent. We especially like Tracey as our waitress. She adds the extra fun and enjoyment to our meal experience. We recently purchased a gift card so that friends could also enjoy Swiss Chalet

Had a Christmas dinner for our fish hatchery club, Excellent service and food. Atmosphere was great and we will definitely be back!

We were a table of 6 for lunch. Our waitress, Tracey was amazing, so kind and efficient. I personally have had Tracey wait on me in the past and she is always friendly and does her job well . She is wonderful

On vacation decided to go to our favorite restaurant. But not in Collingwood, it started we got takeout glade we checked order because items we missed. Went back in to get the missing items And they didnt include cutlery after asked. Get back to hotel to see they ran out of frys I could see half of the bottom. Of both orders. Not impressed

Extremely frustrating experience with Swiss Chalet. After being left on hold and my order taking over 20 minutes to place, when I tried to pay with Visa Debit, it wasnt accepted, I was told they were only accepting cash at the door or credit card. I proceeded to give my credit card details from an additional card and suddenly claimed delivery was closed. Terrible customer service and a complete waste of time. Very disappointing.

Quality has gone downhill over the years, and now the management argues with customers when receiving basic feedback. Not recommended.

The meal was excellent takeout. Chose the prepaid pickup. Everything on time and as ordered.

Our server was Carrie P and she was absolutely wonderful we were initially sat in a booth that was too tight and wound up moving elsewhere, but she was extremely accommodating and very polite!

So took my family here for lunch service was amazing the waiter was super kind and great at her job food was also great but the washroom were terrible, look like they have never been cleaned and no paper towels in either holder or dryer, had to leave with my hands soaking wet poop all over the seats all in the mens room hope the Ladies isnt like that as well!

Tracey from the Collingwood location is an excellent server. We look forward to seeing her and being served by her everytime we go in. We prefer the Collingwood location over the Barrie location on Bayfield Street. We live in Barrie but aew willing to drive to Collingwood (45 mins) in order to have the best overall experience. Keep up the good work Tracey.

Havent eaten Swiss Chalet since they closed in BC and ate here twice in a week. The food was great. Tracy served us both times and was amazing!

Great stir fry meal served with alternate sauce. Delicious! Our server, Tracy was alone and busy but was so personable and kind. We watched her interact with a young customer and she was so awesome even at the end of her shift.

My new husband and I arrived in Collingwood on our honeymoon around 8 pm. Checking in to our hotel we decided to go for dinner as we had no food in the room. Seeing as Swiss chalet is where we had our first date we thought it fitting to have our meal there. Upon arriving the server told us due to it being slow they shut down the dining side of the restaurant but we were welcome to order off the Togo menu on the Harvey side and air and eat there but we would have to have it in to go container. We said thats fine so we went and ordered our food . The girl that served us was nice enough . But asking her what they had to offer other then pop she made a face and responded well apple juice or bubly. Not many choices tbh . So I had to take apple juice . We then got our food in the to go containers and they have us wooden forks and knives we tried to eat our food with the cutlery provided but we were unable to do it with success so I went to the counter and asked kindly if we could have some metal cutlery as its quite difficult to eat the the wooden cutlery. I explained why it was important to eat there on our first night of our honey moon . The girl said no we dont have metal cutlery. I asked if we could use some from the dinning side of Swiss chalet and she said no she cant give it to me. So I asked to speak to the manager . She then looks at the other girl next to her and says sure . She then proceeds to walk away and says something to the other girl and smirks and laughs. I said I dont appreciate the attitude. She brought the supervisor to me and I explained the question and the supervisor gladly gave me the cutlery no problem. I understand new employees may not know they can accommodate certain things upon request but its not ok to make a customer feel like they are imposing on the server. We spent over $40 at this location and to be treated this way is highly inappropriate . I will not be returning to this location during our stay in Collingwood

Our visit tonight was one of the best that I have had . Paige was so kind and handled very well and was so sweet ! Great service here and always friendly staff .

We all had a perfect evening.......Enjoyed our meal very much so and had the best server ever. We had the pleasure of having Tracy as our server and she was amazing in every way, remembering our names , laughing with us and making our evening remarkable. Pooja was our waitress and she was so welcoming and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Vegetarian options: My friend doesnt eat meat, and although there werent many vegetarian options, there were enough which all looked tasty.

Ordered the rotisserie chicken dinner last night. The chicken breast (white meat) was so small!! Almost $20 for a small breast with some fries, not worth it! The chicken was very dry as well. Shrinkflation at its best. Never ordering from Swiss chalet again.

We dined in at the Collingwood restaurant for the first time with three young children and were very happy with the food and delighted by the service we received from our server, Tracey. She was very kind in making it a special occasion for the kids, giving them their own table and special dessert.

What is the deal with the Christian music. I hope michael got his boat ashore but I didnt need to hear about.

I m a hairstylist in the area and a lot of my clients and myself agree that Tracy is the best server my clients have said she is the only reason they go to Swiss in collingwood if she wasn t there, they d be going to Wasaga Beach. She is kind funny and truly makes you feel at home very personal they are truly lucky to have her as an employee 5 stars for Tracy

First time at this location. All the staff was great, what friendly service and everything was fast, fresh and just delicious. Kudos to Pooja who was extremely accommodating to all my needs. Overall very satisfied with meal, drinks and dessert.

I visited yesterday. My server was an absolute sweetheart. Her name was Carrie. It was pretty busy and she still found the time to make sure I had everything I needed and that everything was satisfactory, checking in frequently. She truly went above and beyond to make my dining experience stellar.

I usually dont leave bad reviews but this on is deserved. We got a family pack that is supposed to feed 3 people. It barely 2. The rack of ribs was the size of my hand, The order of fries was in a tiny little container, The whole order wasnt worth more than 20 bucks. We paid $88 this will not feed for people.... Worst service we have ever had at this Swiss Chalet -- the server was too busy at the table behind us to come and take our order. Another server had to bring our food because our server was not to be seen. I did not get my water until I was just about finished my meal, It took us over 26 minutes to get our food !!!!! Bill was $78.oo --Not worth it We plan our trip twice a year so we can eat here ---never again.

We love eating at Swiss Chalet as the food always is always tasty and the chicken moist and flavourful. We also are thrilled when we get Tracy as our waitress. She is always a ray of sunshine and so personable. Service is great and she makes sure we get all the little extras we sometimes ask for. She always goes the extra mile to make our experience fun and homey! 5 Stars to Tracy!! Vegetarian options: We wish there were more vegetarian options as my husband wants to go vegetarian. I always want more vegetables as it is good for ones health. Dietary restrictions: As there are a lot of seniors in Collingwood, more options for dietary restrictions would be nice. Parking: We always get a spot and the walk to the door is not far which is great because sometimes it is very cold in Collingwood.

Few bad takeout experiences at this Collingwood location. Missing items in order, items were wrong, food was never ready at time ready promised. No one at restaurant answered the phone to help and having to go back was really a hassle esp when weather was bad. You better check everything before you leave, not only count the boxes but to open each box to make sure. This time, I ordered a combo: 1/2 rack and quarter chicken with fries and bread, and also some other stuffs. They missed a 1/2 rack ribs and fries in the combo which I paid $28. I had to call the main line of Swiss chalet and they were not helpful and only willing to give me a future credit if $10. Any fair person can tell this was definitely too little for what they missed. If you have other choices, don t go there for takeout.

Ask for a fresh piece of chicken! Alan was super rude verbally and Wayne as manager tried to fix the problem by reheating the same chicken and handing it to me. Unprofessional!!! Absolutely will recommend it !! Not safe to eat ! Staff can not be trusted. I m writing this as I eat my food with glass of water Kid-friendliness: Ask for fresh piece for the kid and reheated the same piece twice once originally and then once manager Wayne showed up

I waited an hour and 20 minutes for delivery. Food was cold, chicken was dry and look at the picture of the Loaded Baked Potato for an extra 1.99. Plus they hit you with a $4 system fee when you order from their app. What s that about? Is that the reward for ordering their food? Never again. Look at that loaded potato! You responded to my review by saying you d like to connect with respect to my experience. Like you re oblivious to the picture I sent you. I m not quoting any reference number on any site. This is inexcusable. Fire the person that put that potato together because it doesn t take a genius to understand that when they were preparing that potato that it wasn t going to go down well with the customer. You re a huge organization that can afford to do a lot better. I m disgusted with your response. This is my second edit to this review. After I told you I was disgusted with your response, you removed your response ! Whoever is responding to these reviews, the restaurant business isn t your thing.

Have been to this restaurant many time and have been completely satisfied with dining in. Last night I ordered pickup. Could not have had a worse meal! Ordered potato soup, got chicken soup. Came with the smallest, driest over cook chicken breast I have ever had anywhere. Fries were cold, limp & soggy. I was there 5 minutes before the given pickup time so that should not have been a factor. Never again, sad thing is it has tainted my respect for this restaurant which I thought was one of the best Swiss Chalets I have ever eaten at.

Amazing music!!! Food and service was amazing as well!

The menu has changed again. The roast beef is gone and in its place is two pieces of fish and chips and garlic shrimp with rice as a one of the choice of sides. The fish is okay. I have had better. The garlic shrimp is good, especially when paired with the rice. Both dishes are filling and leave little room for dessert.

Worst service bar none

Not as good as other locations! Food is OK (Chicken drier than normal, Caesar Salad over dressed), but the restaurant is in a state of disrepair and is dirty. Messy floors, ripped seats, sticky things under tables, visible splashes and stains on bar front, cobwebs around decorations, etc.. If youre looking for your reliable quarter chicken from this Swiss Chalet, best bet is to try their drive-thru. Argh. Darn shame .

Been few times over years and this place has made few changes bot inside oufside ......i do have to say tho the other day when i went we were served pretty fast as in past it took forever to serve us....i was impress with my visit this time the food was better this time too Kid-friendliness: The kids get their own menu and some crayon to color they can pick off their menu how they like meal to be.....

During our visit to this location, we had such a nostalgic experience with our server, Tracy. Her friendly and uplifting personality combined with excellent, attentive service created a wonderful dining experience, reminding us of how Swiss Chalet used to be, with original menus, lemon water for your fingers, and a treasure box for the kids. Ordered dinner for my family through the drive through. Paid, and waited 35 minutes only for someone to come out and tell me they are too busy In the dining room to make my food! Manager was absolutely no help. She was rude and condescending. Offered zero solutions. She just left myself and 5 other patrons standing there and disappeared. An hour and 15 minutes later I left without dinner. Absolutely disgusted in this place. Manager has no concept of customer service or how to run this establishment.

What a great time. Went for my birthday dinner and had fab service. from Pooja and met the owner Sandy. The food was delish and the wine (Pinot Grigio ) was so smooth I had the ribs and my hubby had the chicken. Everything was hot and well cooked. The salad was super fresh and I loved the ceaser I am so happy to see the restaurant on the rise. Keep up the great work !!! We will be back

Had a great time with family here this week. The food is always delicious. I had the 2-can dine for $19.99 which is a fair price by todays standards. Doesnt seem very long ago that you could get the same for $16.99 though! When the portions were bigger and price was better it was a 5-star experience. Theyre a little smaller and more expensive now so I cant give full marks. The staff at this location was very friendly and knowledgeable. Conversation with waitress/host was good but not intrusive. We came after the dinner rush and they were clearly a bit tired but didnt let that effect the service they provided. Thank you ladies, you did a great job! The location is clean and tidy. Lots of room between tables so your conversation doesnt overlap with neighboring tables. The patio is a treat. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Ordered online tonight and the driver claimed the order delivered and closed ticket even though the corporate customer service I called multiple times called the Collingwood store and confirmed it was a mistake and order was on its way, two hours later I live 5 minutes from the store no food and no one will give me a refund. Spoke with the store they said call customer service for a refund spoke with them they said call the store. This company has 0 customer service don t order online from them it s a nightmare.

We were there before the dinner rush today. It wasnt that busy and we were slow to be seated. Placed our order for drinks and food. Food was slow to be served and wasnt all that hot. 2 meals were delivered and waited 5 minutes for the 3rd meal to be delivered to our table. We had eaten very little of our food and my husband found a BLACK HAIR in his food. None of us have black hair. We all lost our appetite after that. It took the waitress forever to come to our table when a different staff member was told of the issue. She expected us to pay for all the meals. We asked for the manager who was rude, unprofessional and also expected us to pay for the meals. She went over and inspected the meals. We told the manager we werent paying for the meals and she said Fine, just leave If we could leave no stars we would.

This place is clean, the food is great and the service is out of this world! Holly, Tia, and Nicole are great and really made the experience.

I ordered chicken on a bun. It was a sloppy mess. The chicken was in big hunks and fell out. The salad shown on the menu was a spring mix. I asked for exactly what was shown and ended up with a garden salad. I cant eat regular lettuce. The waitress had now idea what a spring mix was so I ended up with a Ceasars salad. Please serve whats pictured on the menu.

Tracey goes above and beyond with her customer service. She is the best waitress. Definitely ask for her if you wanna be served properly .

I went through drive though and ordered a festive dinner after the parade. When I got home I d realized I didn t revive the stuffing , cranberries, lindor chocolate or the festive scratch ticket that the meal comes with. Paid over $20 and I got a small chicken leg, mashed potatoes and a bun. When I tried calling I got no answer.

Worst location ever! Just got home and realized half my order wasn t in the bag. Tried calling the location multiple times, no one picks up. Bunch of fools. They have no problem charging you and taking your money. So now what? I m suppose to drive back 20 mins to get what s already owed to me? Swiss? Where s my compensation?
