94 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y 2N9, Canada
Great upscale menu featuring local sourced ingredients, in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We feature live music every Thurs - Sat in our cocktail lounge and carry Collingwoods largest selection of Ontario craft beers!
The food is always excellent and the beer selection is above average. It’s a great place for date or just to go for a quick pint. Great daily specials. Our server was excellent and offered great suggestions on what to get. We will be back soon.
Just a reliable spot for good pub fare, but also had some pretty decent BBQ. Their ribs and calamari are both worth trying, but their cajun shrimp and corn dish was very tasty.
The Huron Club has a sophisticated pub atmosphere, with friendly staff. We pulled up to the bar to share a meal, dessert and some drinks. Connor was our bar tender; he is personable, and happy to provide ideas of drinks to pair with food. Lots of places to park and close enough to downtown Collingwood to go for a stroll.
Such a beautiful place. A turn of the century gentleman's club turned restaurant. Great service! They also smoke their own meats! The turkey was great
Delicious food. The service was awesome, really enjoyed our server. This is a neat historical building. Would definitely return. Had lamb burger on lettuce bun and brisket. Fries were yummy. Do wish the lettuce bun had more than 2 pieces of lettuce though..? So that was a little disappointing. It fell apart after a few bites.
First time going to the Huron Club and got the calamari as appatizer and the Brisket Platter. The calamari was incredible! So much flavour and included both octopus and squid. The brisket was soft and tender, it fell apart just by picking it up with my fork. Fries were perfectly cooked and the biscut was served warm from the oven. Coleslaw was excellent too!
Best food experience during my time in collingwood. We had the burger, ribs and calamari. All of it was fresh, flavourful and done to perfection at a very affordable price point! Don’t get me started on the sweet potato fries and the caesar salad. Totally great experience!
We were driving through after a long trip already. Asked a local of the best burger in town and was pointed here 😋 All I can say is wow they were not wrong. $24 for 2 1/4lb fresh patties not pre cast, worth every penny, let alone the rest of the toppings.. Had the calamari starter and a raddler what else could you ask for. Service was top shelf, atmosphere was extremely welcoming. Will definitely dine here again. Great work to the entire team that made this experience worth every penny!
We recently visited the Huron Club, and overall, it s a charming spot with a great ambiance. However, I was disappointed by their strict no-modifications policy when it comes to menu items. As someone with dietary restrictions for health reasons, I was surprised and frustrated that they wouldn t even consider making an alteration to accommodate my needs. While I understand some limitations in a kitchen, it s important to recognize that many people have dietary restrictions and would appreciate a bit of flexibility. If you don t have specific dietary needs, it s a lovely place to visit. But for those who require accommodations, I d recommend finding another restaurant.
Excellent food and service, buffalo wings and brisket were amazing!!
Such good BBQ food
Great restaurant. Staff was excellent. Amazing sandwiches!
Came from out of town ... the food is meh .. the service was great and the staff apologized for the food.. dont eat the turkey platter..meat comes pre packaged the waitress said (dry and salty) ... server was nice enough to switch my meal but the next dish I couldnt eat due to allergy which was not posted in the ingredients/description of the plate. 3 star because of the server! :)
What a huge disappointment in the quality of the grilled chicken. Me and my friend ordered the same salad. And the chicken was disgusting, awful, processed, frozen, freezer burned garbage! They need to do better. My other friends salmon was tasty and the sweet potato fries were amazing. Not worth price and the portions are small.
BBQ is awesome! Especially the brisket!
Gastropub is the perfect description: its a pub with excellent food. Fried cauliflower appetizer is excellent, as were ribs and brisket. Unlike in other pubs, house salad has different greens along with tomatoes, cucumbers and turnip-type things -- very good. Good selection of beer, less so with wines, but they worked well with food for us.
Great place, excellent service (Thank you Connor, at the bar!!!), cold beer and awesome brisket . Couldn t ask for more !!!
Located in a really cool historical building, hands down this was one of the best restaurants Ive been to in a while. Recommended to us by a local, this place exceeded expectations. Our server Jessica was top notch, prompt, friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fabulous. The shrimp appetizer was scrumptious. For a main course, my dinner companion had the lamb shank and I had the trout. We were both delighted with our meals. The plating, the portions and the taste were sheer perfection. I would absolutely go here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Collingwood area.
We had the brisket platter and brisket sandwich and loved them. The brisket is perfectly smoked! We ve been to some overly hyped/expensive smokehouse places in Toronto and they were mediocre and/or twice the price. Highly recommend this place!
Our group was in Collingwood for the week, and we were very happy with the food and service we received at the Huron Club. They had a great variety of food from burgers to fish and chips. All was delicious. Our server Katie was very attentive, friendly and made exceptions for our group. Highly recommend!
It was ok. Not the best But not the worst Food
The 1st time I ever witnessed a server mentioning the steak was not cooked to what was ordered as most others will simply drop the plate off and wait to see if the client will complain. They quickly made up another steak to ensure my friend was happy. Well done!
Service was quick, efficient and friendly. The menu is diverse enough for most palates. The food was served in a timely fashion, it was hot and as ordered. 3 of the 8 of our group noted that the food was OVERLY salty. As one of the three, it was as if extra salt was added by every station in the kitchen. Mine was the burger, the other was a cheese / queso starter. Very very salty. Dietary restrictions: They did have a gluten-free bun as a substitute for $2. There is something for everyones dietary requirements. Parking: Street Parking is free on weekends. Which is nice.
The Huron Club is a standout dining destination, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional service provided by Paulina. From the moment we arrived, her warm smile and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Paulinas expertise shines through in her knowledge of the menu and her thoughtful recommendations. Her attention to detail, from ensuring our glasses were always full to checking in at just the right moments, made our evening effortless and enjoyable. In addition to her impeccable service, Paulina has a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences. If you re looking for a restaurant where the service elevates the entire experience, The Huron Club is the place to be. Paulinas outstanding hospitality is worth the visit alone.
i had the chicken wings and they gave me food poisoning i ll spare the details but it wasn t pleasant
I had the beef brisket tacos which were super tasty!! What I enjoyed even more was our server. She was so lovely and knew so much about the menu! She was able to answer all of our questions and we were a pretty large group! I believe her name was Katie! Kudos to Katie. Great atmosphere.
Excellent Saturday evening on the patio. The Brisket Sammy is EXCELLENT and highly recommended. Would travel a couple of hours to enjoy it again. A shout out to Bryn for her efficient, friendly, and attentive service.
Great lunch! Daryl the owner and the bartender were really nice :) thank you!
Can be a little loud at peak periods.. Food and service is terrific. Value for money is really good too.
It was open on a long weekend, while everything else was closed. Just for that I am ready to give 5stars. But aside from that the smoked brisket was to die for and the waiting staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.
Dined 2 days in a row. Great service and the shrimp appetizer Boom! Brisket platter as well. You will be happy you went!
Great terrace
We have finally found the one!!!!. Our go to dinner spot unfortunately changed with new ownership, which left the hubby and I ( and daughter) looking for a new spot that is a 10/10. And boy have we found it!!!!. We all shared the thai mussels, I had the calamari and sweet potato fries , both cooked perfectly. Hubby had the buffalo chicken sandwich, he devoured it and our daughter had their double dusted chicken wings and fries. The service was by far the best we have ever had. You definitely have to try this place.
Good pints , GREAT FOOD !!!!
Always great food! Staff is super friendly. Always say hi to Daryl! Great guy. Cheers to HC.
Came here for a late night dinner, was not told about the specials which was frustrating realizing we could have saved money on what we ordered. Both our cocktails were not good, flavourless and watery. Food was decent, my partner enjoyed his burger, my cauliflower was saucy. Server didn t really seem to care to be there but was nice. One of the only places open later on a Monday so that was nice.
I have been here twice and loved it both time. Once we came as a very large group and they had no issue seating us right away. The food came fast and hot. The second time we sat out on the back patio. Again the food came super fast. 100% try the sweet potato fries. They are thin cut (think Mcdonalds fries) and absolutely amazing! The fish and chips are solid and the club sandwich was fantastic.
Great place for an upscale pub experience. Was initially disappointed that the bbq brisket was sold out and ordered the smoked Turkey and was not disappointed!!!! Excellent. Everything the group ordered was great and fantastic service. Worth the visit!
Great place for lunch. We fully enjoyed our food and t our sever (Angie I think) was great.
Excellent food and service but can get loud when full.
Thank you for all the vegan options. Food was tasty and service was great Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options!! Food : 4/5 |
Hands down best burger we have had in Collingwood! Really nice interior. Friendly and great service! Will be our new local!
The trout is excellent...generous portions...love the creamy sauce...but would have liked some mashed potatoes or rice to go with it
Service was excellent, and the brisket was juicy and melted in the mouth!
Good food good service nice place to relax.
Hubby had the brisket platter and it was the best hes ever had. Very smoked and very moist. I had the fish and sweet potato fries, also delish.
Went for lunch: spot was suggested by a local person. Top marks for attentive but not smothering service, great food. Bonus points to our server Robyn for assistance with my dietary restrictions. We ll definitely be back! Dietary restrictions: I m celiac and have a nut allergy. Server and kitchen team very attentive.
Great place, great location. Food was good, fired chicken was awesome.
Cant say enough! Such good food, amazing service, great location. Cant wait to come back soon.
Nice resto for a quick bite and beer, I will be back when in the area...
The food is top notch! Great vegetarian options with Tofu. Sabrina is amazing! Connor is the best on bar and makes an amazing Old Fashioned! They have both helped us many times and are very professional. The owner is super welcoming. One of our favourite places in Collingwood.
Friendly service. The atmosphere is quaint. Prices are typical for the tourist town. I think the smoke platter is arguable. But $24 for a burger meal is really pushing it. Turkey platter, I did not taste any smoke or hardly any. The meat was very tender. I agree someone what who mentioned, theyd be better to use fresh cut fries. Biscuit was buttery and soft. Coleslaw was soggy and not a highlight. Portion was generous. Burger tasted nice but ruined from the assembly by putting wet ingredients on the bottom (cooked onions). Thus, the whole bottom bun was soggy upon reception and eventually fell apart. Overall, Id give this place a 3.5. I intend to return to try their brisket but not any time soon.
I hadnt been to the Huron Club since it changed ownership a few years back and to be honest was not that impressed the times I went. It was on of those restaurants not on my radar when in Collingwood as I rarely drive past it. A friend invited me for lunch there a couple of weeks ago and I am very very pleased she did. The fact I have been back twice since with clients for lunch I think speaks for itself. The ambience is great for a semi formal lunch; relaxed but not a chain; a bit more up market. Very good service and a good variety of food. Now definitely one of our go tos.
Amazing staff and atmosphere! Best bartender I ve had, Tom, always has me leaving with smile!
The dry rubbed rib is so yummyyy
Parking: Excellent serving staff! Recommended dishes
Nice, cozy place to have a meal; friendly staff. The nachos were disappointing for the price. There were supposed to be black beans on it, but there were hardly any. Bit pricey, but not surprising given its location.
Our Probus Club had our Happy Hour at the Huron Club last month. Our service could not have been better and their attention to detail setting up our room was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Get the Nashville chicken sandwich. Im still thinking about it four days later.
Vegetarian options: Vegan burger available Food
I m not sure if it is because we were in here for a very early dinner at 3:30, but the food was truly terrible. The only passable thing served at our table was wings. We also had fish and chips, the brisket platter, Thai chicken lettuce wraps and kids buttered pasta - all done terribly. I am by no means a food snob but this was the worst meal I ve eaten out in a very long time. If I was bolder I would ve sent my food back and just left. I am really confused by the good reviews, which makes me think either it was just an off day or the less busy = worst food. The service was friendly but meh about everything. And the place itself is charming. Maybe only order a burger or wings if you find yourself eating here to be safe.
havent been here in years and was pleasantly satisfied with their gluten free Korean short ribs and gluten free pad Thai. the room upstairs is nice for events. reasonable pricing. meal was $51. people said good things about the Yorkshire pudding and brisket also. not recommended: cauliflower bites. its mostly dough
Really bad brisket. Frozen fries. The homemade Caesar dressing is actually Dianna s dressing from a bottle.
Brisket sandwich is the best in Collingwood!
Was referred to this place by the staff at the hotel I stayed at. It was a Little busy for a Wednesday night and I was seated in the back room right across from the kitchen. Brad my server was great, brought me a taster of a local beer which was good and I ordered . I chose the buttermilk chicken wings which were amazing. My flavor was Texas smoked BBQ. Amazing . Enjoy their free wifi. Thanks to the owners for responding so quickly to my concern.
Not the best option for those with a plant based diet.
Great upscale pub with great food!
Great menu, great food, great atmosphere. Prices were not crazy, staff was very friendly. Had a large group no issues splitting our bills. Service was fast and came out in the expected order. Drinks were great, specifically the pomegranate margarita. Good list of craft beer on tap with others in bottle/can. Definitely will go there again.
Friendly staff
Higher end gastropub with good beer and better food. Amazing service provided by wonderful people. Book their private room upstairs for an amazing private party.
Food was delicious. I had the brisket plate and we also ordered the pad Thai. Very tasty. Staff were friendly and prompt. Will definitely go back.
Over all a great dinning experience.
Always good food and a good atmosphere. It would be great if they fixed the front door so it wasnt so cold in that section.
Good food and service as always. At peak hours it can be a bit loud which makes conversation maybe more of a challenge but not enough of reason not to check it out
Great food, service and staff were awesome
Other than they ran out of what two of us wanted to order for dinner, it was great. Running out of product at 7pm on a Saturday tells me they are not ordering properly.
Went into this establishment after a family members funeral and honestly as a former server I was shocked at the unbelievably rude attitude of the staff. You would think that in this day and age when you walk in with dozens of paying customers (who are there to support a small business) youd be greeted with a professional and warm attitude. Nothing could be further from the truth. Disgusting behavior from the staff. Never will I step foot in this restaurant again.
Went for a lunch meeting and the food was great. Had the lamb shank and mmmm.
We had the most amazing experience at The Huron Club. The owner and staff are so incredibly friendly. My boys left with the best souvenirs to take back to the states with them thanks to the owner. This was an experience none of us will soon forget. Thank you all!
When I had lunch the lady served very very well,I was so happy. But dinner time different lady was minimum effort and didn t tell us when kitchen close and we missed the desserts.I checked the pics from google map, menus and portions has changed a lots.Just be aware. Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian menus.
Dont usually post 5*, but the ownership and staff of The Huron Club have earned this. Food is very good. While I would call The Huron Club a pub, the menu is quite extensive. Service is excellent, as is the atmosphere. You will want to make reservations on busy evenings.
Excellent food and service. Everything for everyone
Great place to visit. Drinks were great. Portions were kind of small, but excellent
Went for dinner with 3 others. All food was great except my fish and chips. Batter was hard and crusty. Fish itself was tasteless. Service was excellent. Waitress was friendly. They gave me 50% off my meal after I complained and politely I might add. Would go again but for sure no fish and chips. Parking: Adequate parking
We had the most amazing meal here on Saturday night. Probably the best restaurant meal that weve had in a very long time. The staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I had the Yorkshire Pudding which is truly a delight. I usually take food home, but not that night. It was just that good. My partner had the double THC burger and he absolutely loved the taste. Make sure you try the deep fried cheesecake for dessert! This was such an awesome night out for us. We will definitely go back many times!
Great place to get together with friends for a drink and some eats!
Great spot to include in your rotation. Service is quick and friendly, location is ideal, and food is ... well ... OK. Solid 7/10. I especially recommend beer and vibes on tap:).
Love this place, friendly staff and service and great food. A little on expensive side but totally worth it.
Best squash ravioli EVER. And oh that sage butter and candied pecan crumbled on top was delish
Good food.
We arrived just in time to get a table. Service was amazing considering how BUSY it was. Food was delicious especially the fried brussel sprouts! You must add the Huron club to your Collingwood visit!!! Food
Every single thing we had was good. Nice atmosphere, great service.
Had lunch on a snowy Sunday with nice Chardonnay and lovely food - nice server and cozy bar atmosphere We will be back soon
We decided to have take out. The food was quite frankly awful. One of the worst meals I have ever had in Collingwood. The buttermilk fried chicken was over cooked, tough, with no taste. There was little flavour due to the fact the pieces of chicken were all burnt. The onion rings were greasy and again over cooked. The fish and chips were also terribly greasy and again had no taste. We threw most of the 2 meals in the garbage. My 90 year old parents ate at the restaurant months earlier and the ribs were tough, over cooked with no taste. When they provided the feedback the waiter was rude, laughed in theirs faces, and did nothing to fix the situation and make up for a terrible meal. Why did we try again to eat at this restaurant for such an awful food? Do not eat at this establishment. We want to be compensated rather than being treated with disrespect,
Tom kills it!
Im sorry to say I did not have great experience here. I went for dinner with my mom on a weeknight. The place is really stylish and cool, but: 1. it was super loud, people and music. We did get re-seated in the back and they turned down the speaker for us, so I have no complaints about the staff or service. They were very nice. 2. We ordered the brisket BBQ platter. It was kind of awful. The meat was very dry and over salted (saying this as someone who loves salt). The fries were okay and the coleslaw just wasnt great. I will probably go back and try something different from the menu, but my mom says she wont be back.
A bit noisy, but great food and service. Wheelchair accessibility: Great accessibility for wheel chairs, including a nice section by the fireplace. Food : 5/5 |
We had a wonderful meal, everything was perfect. Music and atmosphere were great. Our server couldnt have been any better.
My friend and I ate here, both got items with lettuce and ended up getting food poisoning. We contacted the restaurant and all they said was they ll let us know if anyone else calls in.
Great pub fare and atmosphere
Great little spot in Downtown Collingwood. The food and drink were great with good service.
Great food, the fish and chips were amazing! Great staff. High five to server Natasha.
Great place. A go to in Collingwood
Always consistently good food and excellent service. Can be a little loud at times but the building is old. The perogies are amazing (and I make my own so that s quite the compliment).
Very professional staff always composed even in the busiest of times. Food is always hot and never a complaint!
The food was quite good. Lamb Shank melt in the mouth, butter chicken hot and crispy and fish and chips were wonderful. Nachos were ok, the biscuit that came with he fish and chips were quite dry. It is quite a bustling place in the evening and we were seated within minutes. The food took less than 30mins to arrive at the table. Busy place, took some time to get the server attention after the meal for our bill. A nice place to hang out for a drink amongst good company.
First time there and I loved it. You walk in and instantly feel at home. Theres a hostess greeting you with a friendly smile as youre surrounded by a great atmosphere. There are cool historic photos of the area on the walls. The staff was friendly, food was great! From start to finish a great experience, highly recommend this place for anyone!
Absolutely loved it!! Ambience was top notch and food was too good!! Highly recommend onion rings on sides !! In main Nashville hot chicken Sammy was best! Spinach dip was mouthwatering! Warm pretzels was bit ok in comparison to everything else!! Also, vegan burger was way good than we thought! I thank Conor to serving us very well!! He was really good with his work and also helped us to decide for the best dishes! His hospitality was amazing!! Thank you!
Always a good place to eat when in Collingwood.
I ordered brisket and lamb and felt pretty good about it. The three of us were full and spent 107 without tip. It is highly recommended to eat here when hiking and skiing. At least its not a surprise
Everything was great. Its was a little too loud for my parents with hearing aides. Next time well ask for a quieter corner.
Mmmmmmm...so tasty
I ordered the Sweet & Spicy Pad Thai with crispy tofu the tofu is not crispy, it s gooey. Go to Lowdown for good tofu!
We were there for mothers Day. I had the Arugula and Spinach salad with added chicken. The chicken was a tad overcooked and dry. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!
The food is good. Not the right selection of plate for the burguer - it was dancing all over the table - but flavours were nice, and it felt healthy. It is the first time I get to have mashed potatoes as a side for a burger. Loved the flexibility!
Amazing service. So friendly and helpful. The food was good for all. Nice patio.
We had a wonderful lunch at the Huron Club. The Montreal Smoked meat sandwich was delicious. Hubby had the Brisket Sammy which he enjoyed. Dessert was outstanding, as was the house coffee. Kudos to our server Connor who put up with us during our extended lunch. The Matriarch really loved your positive attitude! Connor see you at the wedding!
Had a really great dinner date there. Brussel sprouts were my favorite. So tasty. ..best I ever had. Definitely going to be going back to try more things. Great atmosphere.. amazing staff. May 25th So update. .. walk in today. Sit down at the bar. Made eye contact with the bartender twice and yet he still didnt feel compelled to come see if I was thirsty. Even the gentleman beside me looked in awe as i was ignored.. Yes . I stood up and walked out. Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming. Maybe I will try and come in again.
AMAZING restaurant, the staff was super friendly, and their recommendations were perfect. my sandwich was Delicious. our fried chicken was great. we shouldnt order the nachos as it was too much food for 2 people but again the nacho was really good. loved our cocktails. Definitely recommend it
Another great meal in Collingwood. Brisket and ribs were great, Kids meals were good also. Excellent sweet potato fries and onion rings.
Pricey. I spent $50 for a pad thai and a drink.
Stopped here for lunch. Really nice burger (THC) that was quite filling. Good assortment of toppings. Would come again, as I would like to try the brisket sandwich
This place by far has the best burger and fries I have ever had! Wow!! The brisket tacos and the pork belly are absolutely outstanding. If you are out this way check it out. You owe it to yourself. The staff are super friendly. Go in and see Connor he will take good care of you! Thank you for taking care of us today and your menu recommendations were spot on!
Fantastic little place. Food is great. Service is great. Love it!
Quant pub , sat in the bar area enjoyed wings and mussels plus ciders they had. would recommend!
Good food in a pleasant and friendly environment. Tasty calamari and a good Caesar Salad. Yum yummy
Good service, good atmosphere. Out of towner. We ordered the burger and brisket platter. Burger was good but not for me, too much salt for my style. But beef brisket was definitely the best we ever had. Would for sure go again.
Very spacious and chill place to just socialize while enjoying delicious food. Service was exceptional, and would definitely come back again whenever Im around the area!
We eat here tons. There is no soup on the menu. The food is good. Presentation very good. Service really great. A little pricey for a Cheers (like the TV series) environment. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
An amazing evening out on the patio. Great food. Fabulous service. : mussels Food
Good food with a good atmosphere.
Parking: Its annoying to try and pay. Limited machines and would not accmy loonies. Had to download an app. Food
This place is everything I love and want. Amazing brisket, great beers, sweet times
Lovely place, good selection of food and drinks. The service was really good.
I was really surprised at the quality of my food, everything was cooked to perfection. A good place for a quick meal. Personally I took the Hamburger, the brisket was very tasty and tender too. Thank you very much for having us.
Greatest evening ever. Thank you ALL!... And 1 year later...come again here...and again BRAVO! Special emplacement...building...history...interior design...local BEER!!!... ribs...ALL IS AMAISING. People are great! See you next summer. (p.s. find the cat on my beer...)
Had our 20th anniversary dinner here. Staff was friendly. Efficient food was hot, delicious and well priced
They indirectly denied us service, we walked in as a family with a 2 year old, they had seats & they came up with every excuse not to serve us. Darryl said 15 minutes, came back in a minute and said 40 minutes minimum. I m a Canadian born man & this is the first time in my life I felt racially profiled!
Amazing little pub in downtown Collingwood. Sat outside on the patio and it was nice. Food was amazing and they had some good menu options, it was hard to choose. A good selection of local craft beers on tap as well. I would definitely recommend if youre looking for a nice meal in the area. Parking: There is a large municipal parking lot directly across the street. Didnt have any trouble finding a spot
2nd time here. Its an upscale pub. Food was okay, cocktails were okay.
A great pub atmosphere for families or adults. We have ordered most things off the menu in the past 5 years and have yet to have something we dont like! Great smoked meats, fries delish and spicy pad Thai! We have also had great experiences with their take out meals
Friendly staff, clean and cozy. Beautiful restaurant with a great vibe. There is plenty of roadside parking.
Must try place in Collingwood! Amazing good, lovely staff, and great ambience (especially at night). The owner, Emad, is so hospitable and makes sure everything is perfect. The food is very high quality and one of the best Lebanese fusion restaurants I have been to.
Excellent variety of BBQ dishes served in a casual environment.
Nice place to have a pint and great meal. Staff is friendly and its consistently great on my visits
We tried this restaurant out for the first time this visit to Collingwood. The smoked brisket platter was great and the kids enjoyed their meals as well. Very good service and nice atmosphere. We will visit next time we are in town.
Good looks and taste great!
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Couldnt be better. Great value for money as well. The brisket was amazing.
Consistently fantastic service and food (barbecued meats are delicious), and the best dog-friendly patio in town! Great cocktails and beer list too!
They have a wide selection of food and everything we have tried was amazing. Good selection of beer and wine. The staff is really nice and they make you feel at home.
The women s bathroom was d-i-r-i-t-y! The restaurant had been open for business for about an hour and a half. Visible grey dust on the chair rail (that didn t happen over night) and the floor and baseboards were very greasy and dust in all the corners. Door jam had black grease marks 3 off the floor, more than likely from using the same mop that is used in the kitchen. If this is the public bathroom, then what s it like where you can t see. Not hard to improve on this.
Ate there this weekend and had a great experience. Our amazing server Rachel made us feel welcomed immediately and had great recommendations. We ll definitely be back next time we re in town!
Nice spot but food was poor. Fish & chips way over cooked.
Food excellent, except for the fish and chips, very fishy and perhaps a bit undercooked. Brisket in all forms was superb. Prices ever so slightly high for what you get but a solid win overall, hence 4 stars.
Seated promptly and felt welcomed. Food was as advertised, really really good. Skip the chain restaurants and come here.
Love this spot! Staff were great! Food was absolutely delicious! We had the brisket and turkey club sandwiches and loved them both! Will definitely return the next time we are in Collingwood!
We 4 ladies had a lovely lunch here after working up an appetite playing Pickleball. I d been here before but today branched out from my usual salad with chicken breast and so glad I did. Between us we ordered lettuce chicken wraps, turkey sandwich, tofu wrap and club sandwich, all enjoyed. The turkey on the sandwiches is roasted in house, cut lean and delicious. Beautifully prepared and looked creative and appetizing. Our server was attentive and personable and really knew the menu. I asked for and rcvd a quiet table. Restaurant and bathrooms clean and well looked after. Convenient inexpensive parking across the street. Excellent go to restaurant in Collingwood.
I am throughly impressed! I never write reviews for restaurants. I was Im the culinary industry for years and have not ever been or worked for a restaurant as good as this one. We came for my birthday dinner and the hostesses were so accommodating, as we changed our minds where we wanted to sit. We found ourselves in a comfy spot in a corner that had a private romantic feel. Out server, Connor, was the best server I have ever had! Very attentive, friendly, and professional. Total good vibes all around! We shared that we are expecting and he was so genuine in his excitement for us. We will absolutely be making this our regular date night spot! The food was INCREDIBLE! Cant wait to try everything else on the menu :) Well done to all the staff and the establishment
We REALLY enjoyed our dinner here. Our server was awesome and the food was incredible. We had the brisket and ribs. Absolutely recommend and will come back here.
Wicked good smoke brisket. The vegetarian had a great meal too. Vegetarian options: Veg wrap. Exchanged chicken for cauliflower. Excellent server. Food : 5/5 |
Service and atmosphere are good and their burger is pretty tasty.
We came in to order take out. We ordered nachos and the veggie burger. The hostess asked us to wait at the bar for our food. It s very much a pub. There are TVs everywhere, dim lights, and casual setting. The menu is more elevated than a pub but it doesn t really match the vibe in my opinion. We waited about 40 minutes before I got up and asked about our food. They forgot about us! Our nachos were soggy and the salsa had spilled inside and our box was dripping when they handed it to us. The burger was standard and forgettable if I m being truthful. Nachos and one burger came to $77.86 I wouldn t come here again nor would I recommend it for a nice dinner out. It would be a good spot to come alone and sit at the bar to watch tv though, I suppose.
Overall good. Great vegan options. The pub atmosphere was a bit loud for my liking but on the right night it could be your thing. Food
Work Christmas party a few weeks back. Had a bunch of appies that were good for bar food. Server was prompt and lovely. Expected it to be fancier, wouldve given it a 4.5*.
