We were visiting Blue Mountain over the weekend and found this restaurant on Google so decided to give it a try. We were by the front entrance and it looked very outdated and broken. My wife and I looked at each other and we were thinking maybe we should go somewhere else but the Google review was over 4 stars so we decided to give it a try. Honestly! NOT BAD AT ALL! The food wasnt very authentic, I get it; its not Toronto :) The taste was good. The service very good! If we are going to visit Blue Mountain in the future we will definitely dine at Kitcho again.

Extensive menu but hardly any vegetarian options so I do not recommend if you cant eat meat or fish. The sushi restaurant is connected to a Chinese restaurant so you can order from both with the same takeout menu. The miso soup is always my favourite.

For an all you eat shusi its okay. Service was quick. Food kept on coming quickly. The outside of restaurant needs improvement but dont judge a book by its covered, the food is well worth for what you pay.

Got takeout. Ordered sushi and some hot food specifically the green curry chicken. The sushi was great but the hot food was a bit disappointing. The curry dish needed a bit more something to make it thicker as it was very watery. And the chicken was a bit chewy. Giving only four stars as I ended up tossing the curry diah. Will definitely order again, but will stick only to sushi. Thanks.

From the outside this place looks like somewhere no one should eat; however, after local friends said it was good I decided to give it a try. Good: The food is good - although I only do sashimi and nigiri (a few rolls too). Service is usually pretty fast (only done AYCE though) Servers are fairly attentive and are no muss no fuss Bad: The restaurant needs a facelift. It looks old and rundown The price has slowly been going up and is comparable to Toronto AYCE places (Although price has been going up everywhere now)

After moving north and leaving behind our fave Chinese restaurant and our fave sushi restaurant we thought we were destined for a future of mediocre. Then we discovered Kitcho, it combines two options in one restaurant and has handily served as a local replacement for our old faves.

Very outdated and not clean place

I can t believe anyone would give above two stars. Food is very lacking in amount and in flavour. For instance, the eel sushi did not have sauce on it so it lacked flavour. Red dragon roll has the tiniest slivers of salmon on the top and some pieces didn t have any. Wasabi is very thinned out and they give the tiniest amount of ginger/wasabi it just seems like they are trying to cut corners in any way possible. Very outdated inside and walls are dirty. Small portions of fish for rolls, too. The flavour of the rice tasted like regular rice, not sushi rice. They need to add the rice seasoning (rice vinegar/sugar). These people need to shadow another successful buffet because it was awful :(

I was here yesterday for all you can eat sushi and got food poisoning. Not worth the risk. The food didn t strike me as very fresh yesterday but i ve eaten here many times and not gotten food poisoning before. Will not be going back. Spent a lot of money to be very ill.

Food was great, but I was charged Roughly $27 for my two year-old to sit with us and eat some french fries. I had a alright time but for $130 for me and my wife and my 12 year old and my 2 year old daughter was a little disappointing and I will not be going back

Sat immediately, brought a paper to order sushi immediately, brought our food like 10 minutes after ordering. Freaking amazing food, and super nice, fast staff. Been here twice and will likely come every time we are in town.

Price: very reasonable for the amount of AYCE food you can get! Food: Shrimp tempura were big and crispy. Sushi were good portions. Food came at a good pace. Service: Was really good and helpful. They re attentive and have someone waiting at the main area at all times to see who else has new orders. We were a big group with small kids and they placed us at a convenient and wide spot. Atmosphere: the place can use some updating as it s quite old. The washroom floors can be cleaned better. Overall: Will return and recommend!

Great food, which is most important. Fresh and full of flavor. Service was a challenge. However, we ordered pick-up on a very busy day (mothers day) so its understandable, but regardless, it was an unreasonably long wait (30 minutes) even after arriving an hour after we placed the oder. We were told to arrive in an hour after ordering, which we did (in fact we waited more than an hour).

This one star is the less star that could give! In my hand, this restaurant is rediculous and horrible! Everything is definitely not fresh, chicken is older than me. The beef uses lots of meat tenderizer, and it is tastes gross! Squid is unripe! Beef skewers looks like carbon, I even dont know how they can cook beef in pure black! Also, udon is soy sause with water and mix with udon noodle! The services are terrible, they THROW the dishes and food on my table! PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS FAKE CHINESE/THAI RESTAURANT! And I swear to god Jesus, I will never come to this restaurant again!!!!!

All you can eat buffet restaurant features sushi, sashimi and a small amount of Thai food. We often eat Sushi and Sashimi, in our view, sushi does have many varieties, but Sashimi doesn t have many options of fishes and seafood, also the freshness is not excellent enough. Apart from Tempura, many other food are fried, like the skewers, Shushi Pizza, also many Shushi wrapped with Tempura. We were hungry but after tried some, the fried food make us feel greasy. We prefer the ice cream and the mango salad. All in all, they do have enough varieties, one stop provides many basic Asian food

Won t be supporting this place ever again after finding out the owner has left 27 residents at Huronia Guest home in Stayner without proper food, with a bedbug infestation and without heat. Not to mention not paying their staff! Why would I support a business owner that makes so much money but has zero compassion for other human beings?

If I could give zero stars I would, great food not going to lie but these people own bamboo in wasaga as well and they also own the home in stayner who is being investigated for infestation of bed bugs and other bugs, also never feed the people they were housing. Great service and good food. We had different crab and veggie rolls with different soups and salads and pork and beef sides nothing stood out as something Ive never had before but everything was good quality and we were quite full at the end! We dont get into any sashimi or fish rolls so I cant speak to that.

I was a little unsure of this place when I saw it but glad we tried it. The place may look a little dated but dont let it scare you away. The food was delicious and everything was fresh! I will definitely come back if I am ever in the area.

The service was nice. The food was also good. I liked the Deep Fried Banana with Chocolate Ice Cream. Miso soup is very good. Good variety of different Nigiris, Sashimis and Makis. For people that don t like fish, there are many non-fish dishes.

This was prob the worst sushi I ve had in my life. The Thai curry was boil hot with raw veggies inside. It was really bad. The chicken seemed to be boiled with no flavour. It appears they use the same chicken for the Thai curry as they do for the sushi.

CHOW MEIN = BEANSPROUTS HERE I ordered #1 from the daily special combo menu takeout, it says includes egg roll, chicken CHOW MEIN, fried rice and sweet and sour pork. The fried rice and chicken chow mein was split in half in a container which is fine. BUT THE CHOW MEIN IS ALL BEANSPROUTS. THERES NO NOODLES AT ALL. Upon confrontation, they said up in blue mountain and to those who are not Chinese, chow mein is BEANSPROUTS and everyone knows this. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What a joke and a scam. STAY AWAY. It is clearly trying to scam people, if there was no intention in doing so, they would put beansprouts to be honest.

Good Chinese food in town! If you start by NOT comparing this great little spot to your fav place in Markham, then you appreciate just how good this place actually is! Especially try the Lemon Chicken ... they prep it like popcorn chicken bits:). Kids loved it!!

The only saving grace was that I didnt get food poisoning here. Worst service you can imagine, very slow, waiters doing nothing just socializing in the corner eating food. Ignoring customers. Extremely average food as well. Steer clear and go to any other place in the area.

Great variety of items! Consistent in quality. Awesome place to visit and eat. Has Japanese, Chinese and Thai food choices. My favourite is the Blue Mountain special rolls with lots of flavour and more keto in quality. Special rolls are generally quite creative and tasty.

Stopped in here for dinner and had no wait to get seated at slightly after 4pm. Menu was ready on the table and was will organized. From order submission to food was less then 5 minutes. Tempura was hot and crispy, sushi was served on a beautiful plate and was tasty. My only concern was the height of the bench seats. As someone who is 6 feet tall, the seat was too low to the ground. Another 4-6 inches higher would be perfect. Overall, a good experience and I would eat here again. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian soups, rolls and tempera. Kid-friendliness: White Rice, French fries available for kids

Best tasting all you can eat sushi we ve encountered in our travels. My son and i were initially a little unsure of what to expect based on the exterior appearance of the restaurant. The service was excellent, items were brought out very quickly and were plated and presented very nicely. The quality of the rolls was unexpectedly excellent- what you would expect from an a- la-cart upscale sushi restaurant. I would definitely recommend Kitcho and will likely return on my next visit to the area.

They have a Ia carte menu too. my sister and I both had the bentobox. Food was plentiful, hot, flavourful and delicious and well presented at lunch. Water was refilled and someone came by to check on us, pick up any used dishes (soup and salad). I had to request a takeaway (food was enough for three people even though we ordered for two).

Food is great, service is good. I had the all you can eat buffet lunch. Theres no digital tablet to order the food but a printed form to check off the items you want. Every dish I had from mango salad to mango icecream and from Maki rolls to curries were tasty and fresh. Sorry no pictures as soon as the food came it disappeared quickly. Id go there again. Vegetarian options: The paper order form indicates which dish is vegetarian including spring rolls, fried mushrooms, mango salad, french fries too!

The service is quick. Food tasted par excellence. The place is clean. And available parking space. We highly commend Monica for doing a great job. We are definitely recommending this place to our friends in Toronto.

We always struggle with ordering take out. Its typically not fresh at other Chinese food restaurants or mushy or sauce gross. Last night was the best take out we have ever had. We ordered the family dinner for 3. With extra sweet and sour chicken & extra egg rolls. The chicken balls were traditional round balls that were cooked perfectly. The egg rolls were a good size, filled perfectly and the perfect combination of crispy and soft. Everything was delicious. Definitely returning!

But look elsewhere now and again. Its a little unnerving. The place seemed clean and was well lit.

We had takeout. The staff that took our order on the phone and that we saw during pick up were a bit rude. The take-out order was missing sauces and chopsticks. The sushi was just fine although there was very little real fish, lots of imitation crab. we also ordered chicken teriyaki and another chicken dish. Both had steamed vegetables, plain rice, and plain chicken. Chicken teriyaki had absolutely no teriyaki Sauce. It was terrible and mostly rice.

Great All-You-Can-Eat! Lots of selections, really big portions too, so be aware cause you get your money s worth, come hungry. Excellent special rolls and variety in general. Friendly and attentive staff, it s a cool joint with a classic inexpensive date night vibe :)

Got the lunch AYCE and it was super worth it for the price and food choices. Was just visiting town but would go back again if I had the chance.

Your buffet food is ordered and comes freshly made. No buffet table to graze around or have people picking and coughing over. Very sanitary. The restaurant could definitely have a remodel, but still clean. A definite return in the future. The outside look of the place makes you think pass, but try it. Youll like it. No hospitality from the servers, but a no nonsense approach from them.

We usually get take out sushi from Kitcho but decided to dine in for the all you can eat today. The servers and staff were very kind and the food is delicious! Everything is made fresh to order and they have a wide range of food to please everyone. Since we have two vegetarians in our group, we love that they offer so many veggie options. Every time we go, we try at least one new item from the menu, today I tried the deep fried bananas with my chocolate ice cream and my goodness it was amazing!

Best Asian restaurant we have eaten at in a long time. The portions are really big for the amount you pay. I have eaten at this restaurant for over 20 years and it has changed in this time. The appearance is much the same, run down but excellent food. The only draw back was the buffet and its price. Loved the buffet years ago as it was set up differently and the price was on par with most all-you-can eat-buffets. Would recommend this restaurant to others for a good sit down meal.

Went for lunch $50 for two people not bad but very bad quality food. I would suggest any other place over this, go to hungry sumo down the road or even the mc Donald s

If I can review a no star i will rate this as no star, very bad experience, we went there for dinner group of six 2 kids 4 adults and the place is full. The person in the cashier told us to wait for 20 mins so we wait. 2 groups have finished and left then we ask again so we can sit and that same person in the cashier told us that even if we can have a table they cant serve us because they are so busy. If they cant serve us why not tell that they cant serve anymore.

We have come here multiple times and the staff is always friendly, like most sushi places I find the lunch price is the most reasonable, it gets expensive for dinner and weekends. Food is always super fresh and Ive never had a bad meal here. There are larger tables for big groups which is nice. we will continue to come here its in a convenient location and there is lots of parking.

Came for lunch buffet and was left satisfied. The only thing I would say is the interior decor would need some updating. Otherwise a great place for lunch and or dinner.

My friend received lo mein with vegetable shreds and fake noodles. They were the noodles from the ramen cups worth 20 cents. The sesame chicken was awful. We ordered several times, but the food just never came. We thought it was because the place was busy but for 30 minutes our food never came. Even when some of the things we ordered actually came, the number wasnt even correct. We ordered 8 salmon sashimi to see only 4 of them to come. Seriously, the staff here is inattentive. Quote and quote eat as much as you can, when you dont even give all that we order! Plus, the food quality isnt even good. Salmon sushi taste like rice because the salmon is paper thin, just order sashimi instead. Not just salmon, most cuts were so thin. DO NOT recommend this place, terrible experience.
