14 Balsam St, Collingwood, ON L9Y 4H7, Canada
Order online for delivery or pick up at Minh's restaurant. We are serving delicious traditional Vietnamese food. Try our Banh Mi Ga Nuong, Shrimp Pad Thai, Pho Bo Vien, Chao Tom, or Com Chien Ga. We are located at 14 Balsam St, in Collingwood, ON.
Fast, friendly service. My husband and I tried the beef pho soup and the shrimp cold roll and they were both excellent. I got curious of the Vietnamese coffee, it's iced coffee and I'm glad I tried it. Delicious!
We stopped by for lunch on our way to Blue Mountain village for Thanksgiving long weekend. The first visit was good. The restaurant was not too busy. We ordered rice and vermicelli dishes. The pork chop dish was really good. The pork chop was paper thin and not reflecting the $21 price point. My wife got the vermicelli with grilled boneless chicken thigh and spring roll. This was a well executed dish. We liked the food and decided to return on Thanksgiving Monday. The restaurant was too busy and overwhelmed. We arrived at 11:30am when they first opened. The service was subpar and we had to follow-up on our orders. If you are looking for some Vietnamese food in the Collingwood area then I would recommend this place. They also have banh mi ( Vietnamese subs) and dim sum available.
succulent pho broth. bun was also very good with a large portion of meat. I had the grilled chicken plate, nice grill.
Great tiny little hut by the main road close to other establishments. Seems like a nice place for date night. Items are majorly pork products which really disappointed me but we were already there. Just a couple of beef pho or chicken fried rice. Not entirely impressed with the service and setup, slightly over priced but otherwise a clean restaurant.
What can I say? This is one of the best Thia Restaurants I've ever been to. Absolutely delicious with perfect sized portions! These people have turned a house into a restaurant. Or, I should say they turned a house into a palace. Their food and service have the quality of which royalty has become a custom to!
This simple and inviting place has some of the best food I’ve had in a while - taste and freshness deserve 5 stars. We tried the crispy egg noodles with chicken, shrimp and chive dumplings, sticky rice in lotus leaf, and soup dumplings. We also got a Vietnamese coffee and it was literally the best I’ve ever had. Service was fast and easy. Place was clean and comfortable with nice decor. Highly recommend!
Vietnamese coffee here is the best 🤤🤤 It taste similar to coffee in VN. The food was good and the owner was so kind to the customers. I thought this restaurant is in the traveling location so it’s not good as pics but I’m wrong. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This place looked really good on Uber Eats. It wasn’t too far away from our Hotel. Gave it a shot and WE LOVED IT. Rare Beef Pho - the broth was so refreshing and flavourful. Perfect if you feel feverish. Shrimp Pad Thai - wonderful Pad Thai, the shrimp was well seasoned. Vermicelli Pork Noodles - had very crunchy pork and noodles. All in all, will definitely make it here again to collingwood for Minh’s.
Great service!
Good food
Best noodle soup in town!
Best Pho in Ontario
This is the best restaurant I ve ever gone throw and they were so friendly and best services too
Minhs is an amazing place at Collingwood for food and price , to try Vietnamese try Minhs, their employee zoni has been very friendly and guided what options can people with preferences can have
Food with excellent delicious flavors
Ive been eating Pho for 35 years and this place has some of the best Ive ever had. I highly recommend it.
Pho was piping hot and vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and spring roll were super fresh. Would definitely come again.
I recently tried the Vietnamese sub, and I have to say, it was a huge letdown. For the price, it was absolutely ridiculous. What I got was essentially a very dry bun with barely any pork if you could even call it a filling. There were three measly shredded carrots tossed in as an afterthought, but nothing else to bring it to life. The whole thing was dry, bland, and left me wondering how it left the kitchen On the positive side, the soup good no complaints there but I d strongly advise skipping the sub. For the cost, it s just not worth it. Save your money or get just the soup
I have phone and mango juice. They made sure they understood my dietary restrictions. Yum. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free. Pho and pad Thai always great options
Always good service and food! authentic pho!
Best Pad Thai in town
Thank you so much for always providing the best food! I love the Pho!! Very great atmosphere and staff! Highly recommend
Delicious food & welcoming atmosphere.
Great food and atmosphere. For folks wanting an authentic flavor explosion come explore a delight in Collingwood!
The staff is on the top notch of their service. I came with a group of friend and everyone love the food. Must visit if you looking for a good food option in Blue Mountain.
Very good food and great service and there is Tony doing very good job with his service I will be back
Fast and friendly service,. Savory soups and mains. A great place to eat in Collingwood. Parking: Several parking spaces in front. Slightly angled step up into front door.
Best food and the service is always good!
One of the best restaurants in the town for the Vietnamese food ; the best seafood they have in the town ; Toi ( the best server ) he helps a lot in selecting the food !!!!
Great food, clean and fantastic service.
Best service by Toi !!!
Best dinner I ever had in collingwood
Great food and service. If you are not satisfied call Mingh the owner he will fix it. They now have 5 locations. We love the food.
Always delicious and the staff are amazing, we ll be back for sure
An excellent place in Collingwood for Vietnamese and other East Asian dishes. I had the fresh rolls which were delicious with the sauce and the number of wontons in the wonton soup was very generous! It was also my husbands first time trying pho and Minhs was the perfect place for it. Next time were in Collingwood were coming back!
We have to visit Minhs every time we are in Collingwood. Their food is out of this world. No other place can t compete. So fresh, hot and delicious. Highly recommend.
I had such a delicious meal here with my wife! Everything we ordered was delicious, and so much leftover too, amazing value! If Im ever in Collingwood again, Im coming back to Minhs!
Delicious fresh quality authentic food. Beautiful decor inside and out. Very clean and pleasant service. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. I know we will definitely be back!
Good food
The. Best Thai food in Collingwood!
Fairly good Pho! Nice fellow, cool spot.
This place is surprisingly excellent. Rivals the quality found in most downtown Toronto Pho spots. I ordered the P2 Pho Tai and I m very happy with it. It s all in the broth man, something about it. Will be coming back here if I m anywhere near Collingwood!
Love love love the food here! Service is amazing.
Bun bo Hue is so delicious!!!
The food and service were really great and I will be back
Clean, cute and cozy with the best vietnamese food weve had. We love the pho, vermicelli with pork, and all the dim sum options. Very excited to try the Barrie location!
Well done pho and broken rice dish.
Great experience overall. The servers were attentive and efficient. The iced coffee was amazing! Would love to come back when in the area.
Minh s has the kindest staff and the best food in Collingwood no doubt
Had a great time. Delicious.
Wonderfully. BBQ pork dumpling and the broth in the pho are to die for. Unreal space. Loved it.
Quaint spot, cute decor, excellent food and service! This is a hidden gem and one of a kind for Collingwood if you like thai/vietnamese cuisine. Worth a try!
Absolutely delicious food and the service was very kind and fast. Pricing was fair. With a meal, appetizer and drink, you are looking at high $30, but very delicious. Atmosphere is basic small style restaurant and a bit cramped as they have a lot of tables, but it is no problem and does not interfere with the entire experience of eating their food. I will be going there everytime I am in Collingwood.
We enjoyed the food very much! It was authentic and the quality was superb. Very friendly service and I can fully recommend coming here!:) the dumplings and the pad Thai were delicious! We will come again
Very good service and the food was delicious
Order through uber eats but wasnt able to leave a review there and I dont know why. Overall, serving is large and healthy and delicious.
Dear Mr Minh. I really really enjoyed seeing you after camp again, Today. We had lots of fun swimming/singing/dancing etc!!! (This is Michael. The one who has Michael Doohickey nametag when I walked in lol) And if I lived closer, I would absolutely come more often. You have such a beautiful and amazing heart of love and service, and Im convinced that if more people were like you, the world would absolutely be a better place. I was really thrilled to see you again after what mustve been a year, I think... Im in Toronto, but if I lived any closer, I would absolutely come in almost every day. No one else makes especially the Viet chicken wings like you do... and all your food is absolutely top notch. It felt so fitting for you to greet me with such amazing kindness as I walked in, cause my camp group is nothing but kind and amazing, too. (Its a dance camp, and we have a lot of fun!! Everyones really cool and open minded) I may not always get to come, but I absolutely love every time I do. We honestly talk a lot about Minhs and how good the food is during the year, especially me. And thats not an exaggeration... Take very good care of yourself, your family, and beautifully amazing customers, always. Lots of love!!! <3 Michael
It was a busy day and only one staff was available. The portion is a bit small as a Large bowl. However, the beef soup and spring rolls are pretty good.
Absolutely amazing Vietnamese food. Great to see it in a small town. They made my favourite Vietnemese dish for me Bún ch giò chay and it was fantastic. Great coconut ice cream for dessert. Super friendly staff, great vibe and atmosphere, and lots of authentic dishes and flavours. Will be back when Im in Collingwood again.
I tried dumplings, pad Thai. It was amazing in taste. Would definitely visit again.
If you have never had fresh coconut juice (drank from a coconut) they serve that here! Also all the classic Vietnamese dishes are awesome!
Loved this place. The pho was very good and fresh. Fairly large portioned and tasted great!
Amazing food, their pork soup dumplings were absolutely delicious!! The customer service is top tier, i ll be back again.
Yummy!
Such a waste of time!!! They will tell you 10 minutes but it s actually 45 minutes
Great foods, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would recommend if youre craving Thai
Serving was decent but not for sharing especially if one is a heavy eater. Price was just right. Taste was great and authentic. They were all served fresh together and at a good temperature. The chef s sister came out often and entertained us quite well. The person who computed our bill was not very forth coming and had to be double checked. Overall, seems to be a good local business to support
I ordered ribs and rice and they came out to are table with buffet of food and nothing we ordered and tried to charge us for it
Dropped by for another great meal. We had Shrimp pad Thai & #B2 (vermicelli w BBQ pork/chicken & a spring roll). Freshly prepared & both very tasty. Rated food as a 4star as we specifically asked for peanuts on the side & not on the dish. The #B2 had a few peanuts mixed in. While we are not severely allergic, care should be taken not to mix them in if asked not to. The service was amazing & very helpful for my elderly mom (Congrats to Minh for opening the other locations! We will miss him in Collingwood)
Food is great! The price is a bit above average and portions are small. Service is great and the atmosphere is decent. I would recommend it.
Best pho I ve had in the area. Also tried their dim sum. It was also top notch. Service was great. Restaurant was clean and nice. Highly suggest you check it out.
Went to Minhs for the second time and what a difference post-Covid! Our previous visit was a disappointment but wow, this time was 5 stars. We sat out on the lovely little patio around 6pm. Most tables were occupied but service was attentive, friendly and fast. We had Pad Thai chicken, rare beef Pho and veggie wraps appetizers. Served hot and delicious. Great experience all-round! Thanks for a great dine-out, Minh!
Accidentally found this gem of a place, after our group of 8 was rudely turned down by another Pho restaurant around the corner. And we were all so glad we did! We called in advance in fear of running into a similar problem. The guy who answered the phone had no hesitation to take our last minute reservation. He even gave clear directions to guide us from where we were. Only about 5 min or less away, we get to the restaurant where our table for 8 was ready with menus waiting for us. The restaurant was decorated tastfully whimsical which was a nice surprise. We were greeted and welcomed warmly (unlike our first encounter) and were served water right away. They only had 1 server that night but he did not lack on making sure we got what we needed. And took our orders as soon as we were ready. But as much as I appreciate amazing customer service, I would not give a 5 star to a restaurant if only that. So yes, the food was absolutely delicious!!! I ordered the Pad Thai and it is one of the best ones Ive had. Flavourful and full of authentic flavours, very close or even on par with a pad thai that I would order from an authentic thai restaurant and yes, pad thai is Thai but it says a lot when a Vietnamese restaurant serves amazing Pad Thai. The rest of our party ordered a variation of Broken rice dishes with the grilled pork, Pho and several types of rolls (A1, A5 and A6), which were all plated beautifully, but was devoured too quickly to get any photos taken. We will definately be returning here when we visit collingwood again!!!
Very good
Good food, nice view, all good. I like it so much
Delicious food, friendly staff
$20 for pho is pretty steep. Only one large size available, but I think it s closer to a medium. Although the flavours were great and service was quick, the cost is quite high compared to similar pho restaurants.
Enthusiastic staff, attractive food, beautiful view, worth a try
The food is delicious, attractive, rich in flavor, and the staff is dedicated and cheerful
My favourite place to eat in Collingwood!
Delicious pho, chicken wings, and shrimp pad Thai. Will come back and definitely recommend! You will lick your fingers oh and get the Mango shake it was a nice cool after a hot pho!
Nice little spot, pho and pad Thai are 10/10. Dumplings were great too!
Delicious food, fun atmosphere, will come back next time
So my family eats Vietnamese food a fair bit; Pho and Bun are go to meals for us when we want to dine out, and we make both at home ourselves fairly often. Needless to say we have eaten these dishes in many restaurants around the world (though not, alas, in Vietnam). My eldest daughter declared that Minhs bun was quite possibly the best bun she has ever had. I had the Pho - was a little disappointed at the lack of options - no tripe, no tendon - but the broth was outstanding, as were the ingredients. There was one other issue with the Pho - the broth was served to hour, in my estimation. By the time I had made my way through the dish the noodles has started to break down - had to eat with a spoon rather than with chopsticks. But the flavors and presentation was fantastic!
Good food nice staff
They do an amazing vegan pad Thai!
This place is always packed with customers. Agreed with Google search. The best Vietnamese restaurant in Canada.
Good
Food was ok but the service was non-existent. No server came to the table after 20 mins. Had to walk up to the counter to ask questions. The server is sitting behind the counter watching tv with headphones on. The prices are extremely high for this type of restaurant. $2.5 per individual dimsum, $22 for a small plate of fried rice, $7 for a canned mango or lychee juice from the grocery store that costs 50 cents. No clue why the reviews here are good.
We walked in for a quick order and while the service was fast and friendly, the Pho was incredibly disappointing. Absolutely no flavour although the toppings were fresh.
Came here after ski Everything is ok, waiter is friendly I ordered Pad Thai, which is hot and taste ok Food : 3/5
I came here for the first time ,I usually order rice on pho places in Toronto , price range to 16-19 where the serving is a lot .So I ordered rice here which cost $19 and I expected that it be a decent portion however it wasnt. The service was great tho , i dont have any complain with it For comparison first pick is from my local Vietnamese restaurant and its much cheaper than Minhs
Being Vietnamese myself, I have to say I really enjoy Minhs pho. Its so nice to have a new place in Collingwood serving authentic Vietnamese food. Minh is very friendly, personable, and a great cook. We have dined in and for the first time ever, I recently did takeout special beef pho. For me, this is usually a no-no, but the packaging is really well done with piping hot broth. They make their own beef balls, too. A must when you visit Collingwood!
Great food!
Amazing food and service!! One of the best Pad thai Ive ever had!
The food was really good and the service was good too.defenetly coming here again
Firstly, the beef rice noodles were exceptionally delicious. Secondly, after our meal, my son accidentally left his down jacket at the restaurant. The staff kindly assisted in securing it, for which Im truly grateful! I will definitely come again
I ve been twice. I ll be going again. The food is delicious and so fresh. Very fun place. Even though it was busy our food came quickly and the staff checked in with us. Try the coconut drink. Refreshing and fun.
Very recommended. We liked it so much we went for a second dinner on our 5 might stay in Collingwood. I love the B2 Vermicelli with pork and spring roll. The B3 was (same dish but with a shrimp ball added) was not worth the extra $2 for me. Super nice people and easy location and parking. Try it!!!
Excellent Vietnamese food restaurant. Eat-in or take-out. Restaurant is small bright and clean and service was excellent. Has full bar and outside patio. Has a ramp to make it wheelchair accessible. The 3 of us all enjoyed our dinners. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a short ramp to make it wheelchair accessible
winter 2024 update from 1 star went back and had the bun bo hue which was tasty. a bit bummed I asked for the pho dry rice noodles and had the original round vermicelli. its ok. I know English isnt their first language and bun bo hue is normally the round noodles anyway. partner liked his pad thai The server is very nice and its often. I dont hate it anymore.. ---- fall 2023 extremely disappointed. the first time I ordered the vermicelli with grilled chicken and it was good. my partner liked his pad Thai. had take-out twice, and both were fails. ordered the same vermicelli but once they forgot to put any green herbs so it was so u flavourful. other time, there was no fish sauce. it was just as disappointing. I figured perhaps its because its take out that is so bad so gave it the past chance in the restaurant. ordered the pho and the broken rice. they give the tiniest amount of fish sauce, the meat were rock hard, we had to ask for knives (dont understand how we could eat pork chops with only a fork and spoon anyway). there was no way to cut the meat with a butter knife. I asked for tea 3 times. then gave up. I wont drink anything. heres a photo of hair in my pho to top it off..... otherwise the pho broth is decent with rough/not tender beef I dont understand how it can be such high stars but considering the neighborhood and limited options, i guess its natural. ambiance inside is nice. washrooms probably have never been mopped.
Best Vietnamese in Collingwood.
Best Viet Coffee and Pho Ive had in a while. The coffee is cocaine for the coffee connoisseurs. Trust, im a picky eater from Toronto. The shrimp pad thai is just fire.
A gem in Collingwood, very authentic bun cha, friendly staff, really big portions! Always make an effort to go here regularly
The worst vegetarian pad thai I have ever had. It was mostly bean sprouts very few noodles and not one other vegetable or mushroom nothing! We found chicken in our vegetarian pad thai they didnt believe us even though we were showing it to them. Then they put us on speaker phone to talk in front of the entire restaurant very embarrassing. We paid for the meal and left. Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian friendly place not much on the menu.
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food.
Excellent food. Clean, fresh, healthy.
Minh s is a hidden gem in Collingwood. The best Vietnamese food in town.
My fiance and i both ordered the bun bo hue and it was so flavourful! We were seated by 8pm and left by 9pm. Our orders were quickly taken and the food was promptly given to our table, not much of a wait at all. Super friendly service! thank you for the handful of gauva candy :) We ll be sure to visit again next time we re in collingwood.
I wanted to love it, as it s a cute spot and i always like to support small businesses. However, the service was just so awful overall. Unfortunately the food didn t even make up for it. Had to go up and ask for menus and water twice and didn t even get water (water glasses came later) until the food came, which took about 45 min. They seemed to be overwhelmed with takeout orders and as dine-in customers we felt completely forgotten about every step of the way. The vegan pad Thai was extremely underwhelming and overpriced, and the chicken dish wasn t warm or flavourful. Pretty unfortunate.
Excellent
The place was okayish. Food was also good but nothing extraordinary. Service was good but server was not very good at understanding english. Vegetarian options: Limited veg options . Please confirm twice before ordering.
Really small and nice place to have reasonably-priced but tasty dinner. Vietnamese grill is thin and tasty. Family-run biz is friendly and accommodating.
Visited this restaurant during a busy period, and while the food arrived promptly after ordering, there were a couple of hiccups. We had to wait longer than expected for the menu and didnt receive our water. That said, the quality of the food was great. If you plan to dine during peak times or holidays, a bit of patience might be required.
Great atmosphere but absolutely horrid service. We waited 15 minutes then got our own menus. Despite asking for water after 30 minutes, we had to ask again at about 45 minutes because it never came and the server wasn t checking the dining room frequently or when he did, he had his head down as if he was hiding from the customers. Food was quite oily which was disappointing.
came from Toronto, and will honestly say this is one of the best pho places i ve been too. Took my viet girlfriend here too and she was impressed. Beautiful interior as well.
Amazing food, service, awesome mom and pop shop. The owner/chef came out to talk to us and gave us details of how she made the food without adding sugar! Awesome!
This is a tough one because the food is pretty good. My issue is with the portion sizes relative to the cost. $20 for a large pho should really be a large pho to easily serve 2-3 adults. This was much smaller, more like a medium. Everything was tasty but followed the same pattern - 50-70% of the portion size one would expect. As a growing family of 6 it s getting harder and harder to feed a family for under $100, and this would have been closer to $150 to even come close to the food we need. The food is 4 star but because of this it can t be a 4 star experience. Pizzas are in the oven as a backup which is disappointing.
There was a hair on the food, the food took 45mins to serve. Even water took 20 mins to arrive. The serving is so small, disappointed to come in here
Rare beef Pho was great!
Lowkey authentic. Good food, portions could be bigger. Busy.
Can t go wrong with Mihn s! The food is always delicious and the staff is lovely. By far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant! P.s. best Pad Thai in Collingwood!!!
Had take out, pad Thai and BBQ pork Bun bowl. Timely service pick up etc food was great!
The pho is extremely good! The interior of the restaurant is also very nice. I would highly recommend this place!
Unbelievable food everything was very tasty and huge portions
The pho dishes are quality and rival that of some establishments in Toronto. I would say this place is a tad higher priced than ones in the city, but with prices inflating everywhere it s probably par for the course. I enjoyed their patio during the summer, they have some nice greenery and the tables have a choice of sun or shade. The gentlemen working there was very friendly and attentive. I will be going back when I have a desire for pho again. Parking: Probably 10 spots immediately available out front
what a gem - delicious!
Trash
Food was very bland, tasted processed and cooked from frozen. I do not recommend this place.
We had a delightful experience at this charming family-owned Vietnamese restaurant in Collingwood. The flavors of the Bun Thit Nuong, Cha Gio, and Chao Tom were exquisite; especially the spring roll and shrimp ball. The rich assortment of sauces and dipping sauces elevated every bite. The steamed chicken dumplings and steamed BBQ pork buns were equally impressive. The cozy atmosphere with its vibrant colors added to the overall warmth of our dining experience. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming setting!
Very kind staff, good food and overall a great restaurant! Kid-friendliness: He gave my kids candy and was really friendly to my kids Food : 5/5 |
Tasty food and friendly. But unfortunately, it appears to be getting run down, needing at least a refresh on paint most surfaces; one bathroom was out of order and the other needs repairs.
Food was good and authentic. The place is really small / cosy and the service was fast and pleasant.
The food was decent but overpriced. Beware the $7 can of mango juice
Over priced and servings not competitive with other Pho restaurants. I expected much better and planned a trip while visiting Wasaga. I was disappointed. The dumplings were also very pricey for being sold as single pieces. My vermicelli was starchy and missing some mint and other herbs/seasoning. Kids liked the Pho but the price was some of the highest for the portion offered.
DELICIOUS vegetarian pho and super fast pick up. Honestly haven t had a better pho! And the atmosphere was so nice inside, will definitely stay for a sit in meal instead of take out next time!
If you love great Vietnamese food, Minhs in Collingwood is the place for you. They also serve a selection of dim sum every day. Everything I ve ever tried there has been absolutely delicious. Be sure to check them out if you re in the Collingwood area.
Cute and cozy front patio. Great services. The dishes were served with very large portions and good in general.
Decent, tasty food and pleasant staff. We got there just in time because it got very busy when we left. Would recommend.
Amazing, well balanced and big portions, even better than Toronto!!
My first time trying pho. I really enjoyed the food, vibe and greetings from the staff.
Mmmmmm rare beef Pho!! Delicious! Was very much needed today. I felt better almost instantly!!
Food so good! Consistent quality and flavour every time. Also awesome customer service!
Great food. Nice people
Atmosphere is incredible. Food is fantastic. Service is always a joy to witness. This is one of the best dining experiences in Collingwood.
Delicious ,cooked from scratch food requiring patience and distraction during min 30 min wait...maybe bring a snack while waiting...wait staff eager but not much English so bring your Google translate if you want to know about allergens or ingredients Charming outside, utilitarian inside but food is the star:fresh ingredients thought fully prepared Best shrimp dumplings in Collingwood Vegetarian options: Many Parking: 15 spots
Poor service, fair food, expensive price!
Wow! What a great place to dine. So quiet and intimate. Food was sizzling. Loved every bit!!!
It was my 1st time trying Pho and Chao Tom here and it was delicious! One thing I love about this place is friendliness of the staffs. Will come back!
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options. Food
Food was flavorful, and restaurant has a good ambiance. My order of wanton soup stipulated no green onions, but that was overlooked and had to be returned. The Vietnamese coffee was simply delicious! While the washrooms were clean, its time they are renovated.
Very simple family owned spot, but it shines where it counts! The food is great and packed on saturday nights.
Friendly service with a good selection of menu options. Had two appetizers, both of which tasted delicious first was the deep fried shrimp tempura, which came with a yellow mustard type sauce and then the shrimp with veg in rice paper that came with two sauces, one sweet one spicy. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for tasty vietmense food while in Collingwood.
Always a good experience
Pad Thai was delicious!
Ordered take.out, food wasnt made correctly. Pad Thai was so bland, no flavour at all. Spring rolls were a dark brown colour, very over cooked and tasted like the oil was months old, couldnt even eat them. Very disappointing
Amazing food & amazing customer service! I love Minh s
Amazing dumplings and steamed buns. My partner really enjoyed her pad Thai and my beef soup was incredibly flavorful with really fresh ingredients.
It tasted like the pork ribs I ate yesterday were all gone! The staff are so friendly and the bubble gum desserts are so cute
Don t ever eat pad here is terrible. I would give 0/10 . Worst taste ever and doesn t taste like pad Thai at all and they put salted radish and bean curd in there and the peanut tasted staled . Food : 1/5
We were recommended from a staff at a local resort at Blue Mountain. Minhs is One of the BEST vietnamese restaurant weve ever been in the North America in ou own opinion. The atmosphere, environment, lightning, decorations and music is all combined and gave us a refresh and felt very Welcoming when we walked in. FRIENDLY and professional staff. Specially Chef Minh was serving us at the time. He was super nice, good looking Chef and funny. Very clean inside out. FOOD was amazing. We got Bún ch giò th t n ng ch o tôm(B3), Ph c Bi t (P2) and Mì xào giòn Tôm (S1). The broth here was super unique and tasty. Apparently Chef Minh told us that hes simmered his Ph broth minimum 24 hrs and using only high quality beef bone not substitute with other bones and only used high quality of meats and ingredients not less. They all home made sauces. It was superb Delish. When youre eating their food you feel the love and care in it. Soooo, s00000 yummy. Oh! Try their home made mango ice cream and cold coffee. It was outstanding! 4: pricing is AFFORDABLE and amazing with its quality. We will definitely coming back.
The staff were very kind and welcoming, they prep everything very nicely in the takeout orders and have a place for you to sit and wait if you come in and order. The food was delicious and the atmosphere there was great, everyone who was dining in seemed to be having a wonderful time! Vegetarian options: They have very flavourful vegan and vegetarian options!
Excellent Pho and attentive service. Thanks Minh. Gerry Food
The family that owns this restaurant is super friendly and provided wonderful service that went above and beyond. I got take out and they packages everything individually. The food was so good I went back before returning to Toronto.
Good food, good service, but just a little noisy from the other people talking around us.
EXCELLENCE BBQ PORK VERMICELLI with Spring Roll.
Excellent food good price very happy
Very authentic food. Just like back home.
First off I would like to share the positive aspects of my meal. My food was hot and ready when I got there Most of the food definitely is made in house which is nice Portion size was okay lots of chicken, but dry Now the negative aspects of my order. First off in their defence my order was placed quite near the end of the day but that should not matter if they are willing to take my order. Also seeing as there was a table still in the restaurant eating I figured great they didn t get held up on my account to close early, which I wouldn t have been surprised due to the horrible weather. I ordered chicken pad Thai and the fried spring rolls. I ordered my food when I left shoppers drug mart on first street, it s legit less than or AT TOPS a 5 minute drive away. The lady told me my food would be about 10-15 min, awesome I thought seems like regular time to cook decent food so because I figured I had 10-15 min I stopped at Canadian tire gas station across street and filled up before heading over to grab food and head home. I arrived to my food already waiting for me which I thought okay I guess it was just made quicker than they projected. Well, the pad Thai lime wedge I received had ZERO juice in it, was dry and flaked. thank goodness I had lemons at home. the portions of chicken WERE large but extremely dry, in fact the whole dish was dry even though the noodles seemed fresh and not all stuck together like a lot of places. Peanuts where whole not grated or chopped or much of anything just roasted and in whole or halves. there is NO flavour with almost everything unless you put the whole tiny ramekin or sriracha and chili oil on it, it s almost as if they left the flavour back in Vietnam. . . I m so confused how you cannot have heat spice levels to your pad Thai most places have levels of 0-8. Next was my rolls which I started with first, they where okay at best, and I mean MAYBE a 6, fish sauce was ok at best had carrot slivers not lemon which was confusing, also I ve never had such dark and almost over cooked and filled with what seemed like breading in those types of rolls before, and they are usually my FAVOURITE. IF I ever go back I will be trying the salad rolls and the shrimp pad Thai in hopes of a better outcome. This place is only marginally better than pho Lee down the street but for the price I would preferably go to mucho burrito or Osmows next door A little advice to owners, if you want a prime example of how to make this food properly, Chag Noi in St. Catharines is a good reference, I suggest a trip to see what you can do better, immaculate bathrooms and edible garnish done with love! not put on the plate so you can be up charged for barely edible veggies not fit for a horse. also pho dau bo is delicious and the right price For how amazing the aroma smells in this place I can t believe how bland my food was I truly hope it was a one off ordeal and it being takeout near end of the night, but like I said, having worked the industry, that should not impact quality. Also, there was no thank you or you re welcome on my way out even though I said thank you, do you even want my business? Or positive word of mouth? I have recommended this establishment to my family for this Thursday the 21st under caution to come eat for Christmas since we will not be able to be together that weekend, I hope it is not an erroneous choice.
Minh s is one of the top pho places I ve been to! It s truly worth a try. The food is of highest quality, tastes delicious, and the portions are large. We left very full and satisfied. It was so good especially after a day full of skiing and being cold. A hot bowl of Pho from Minh s is exactly what you need. The interior decor was also super cute, what a lovely place! The vermicelli meat was SO DELICIOUS. Cooked perfectly and had so much flavour. The beef in the noodle soup was also so delicious I loved it. Usually pho places don t have this good quality meat, but Minh s truly showed up. The price point is a little on the expensive side, with $20 for a regular bowl of pho. But because of the quality of the food, it s definitely worth the price if it s in your budget. The service was a little on the slow side, because there was only one server. But again, the food was just really good that it was worth the wait. Please come here if you want a nice bowl of pho! Just a small thing that bothered me a little bit was the fact that the menu was pretty limited, and they didn t have many choices. But it still suffices!
Too few waiters, slow servicing
