I really like Popeyes food as well as the atmosphere of the place.

Popeye is one of the best places to eat chicken and relax.

Very good place to go to eat and share with family and have a good time.

We were at Popeyes eating fried chicken and its nice to always go back there for the good service.

Every time I feel like eating fried chicken, I think of Popeyes, great atmosphere and they treat their customers very well. Especially Carlos, when I go he gives me good service.

Excellent service by Guri she suggested me good deal the food was very delicious and staff was very friendly.

I really can t recommend any the sides. They were all awful. The missus and I both shit ourselves the minute we got home. The sandwich was rather nice though.

September 17, 2024 chicken strips were dry jerky; biscuit was dry; they tried to give us cold fries. The service and food has gone bad. We will not be going back. Chicken strips with biscuit and Mac and cheese; strawberry pie. All good except the Mac and cheese; mushy macaroni; (mashed potato mushy) with what tastes like cheese whiz. Worst Mac and cheese I ve ever had.

My favourite chicken place!

Ordered 2 meals, the chicken straps were cold. Went back to ask for fresh ones and were given more from the same batch. Went back again to complain and were told then meant to give a new ones and messed up. After complain for the second time they asked if they could make it right and try again, we promptly said no, that they had a chance to make it right already and failed. Previously I got a mild case of food poisoning from there and was still willing to give them another try. We will never go back

Customer service - 100%. We dined on July 27, enjoyed the food with friends. Never had problems with the food, environment or cleanliness of the store. Today I realized that I lost the receipt, and I need to reimburse it. I tried calling them and it took them like 5 minutes to find my receipt because I GAVE THE WRONG DATE. The guy was very patient, never made me feel stupid for giving the incorrect date. He was struggling finding it but then I realized its totally my mistake. Then when he found it, he said if I can pick it up in person- I said again, could you email it to me instead? He said yes no worries, and I received it 2 minutes after the call. His name is Harinder, and I wanna say you saved my day. Thank you so much!

What should have taken three minutes to serve took almost twenty minutes. The cashier was not very good at describing what came with the meal. The overhead order board was confusing. The meal was average, at best, and IMO inferior to other chicken restaurants in Victoria. Heres a good example: the customer behind me brought in his last receipt from when he was there last so that he could order the same meal... Its THAT confusing! I consider it expensive for the mediocre meal I purchased.

Recently visited popeyes and we got delicious crispy hot chicken. The staff was nice and corporative. Ms Gagan made our visit so enjoyable and recommended to everyone to visit here for crispy chicken.

Didnt put much sauce on the chicken...about 1/7 of the chicken had a little sauce. Even the ones with no sauce were spicy hot. Please dont take your kids there. Burning mouth....to much hot pepper. Wont go back until they fix it

Delicious fresh fried chicken. Most recent visit was the last phase of my 4-meal test of whether their chicken is best fresh and eaten in the restaurant, or taken out/take away/delivery. For me, Popeyes Louisiana Chicken is best eaten fresh in the restaurant. IMHO. That is generally the way it is with fried chicken everywhere from all restaurants because boxing it for transport negatively affects the crispiness and I love the crispiness. The reason for my 2-stars for atmosphere is that these are fast food restaurants with customers coming and going all the time. It is not a fancy atmosphere, fine dining, white tablecloth place. It is clean and bright and utilitarian for what it is. The music was too loud for us.

How can you go wrong at Popeyes. Service is much better than when they first opened.

I recently decided to give Popeyes chicken tenders another try, but I was sorely disappointed. I was expecting fresh and delicious tenders, but instead, I got stale chicken that tasted far from fresh. The quality was just not up to par, and it left me feeling quite let down. Unfortunately, this experience has turned me off from going back to Popeyes. Not worth it.

Went in on a buddys recommendation on April 23/2024 @ about 9:00pm. Ordered the Deluxe Original Chicken Sandwich. When they served it to me the nice cashier said it was the Original Chicken sandwich. I said Is it Deluxe?. She said no it wasnt, they had rung in the regular version with just pickles. I said no worries, thats what I paid for so itll be fine. She offered to remake it and I said its ok, Ill just have what they made. Well that was a mistake. When I went to eat my sandwich I bit into and was welcomed with a piece of chicken full of bones and tendons. I went back to the cashier and told her what had happened. She asked me to wait a moment while she talked to the cook. A few moments later she came back to me and offered a new sandwich. I noticed the cook eyeballing me and laughing, so I said no thank you and ask for just a refund. She offered a new sandwich again and I repeated that I just wanted a refund, while the whole time the cook was laughing and eyeballing me. I got my refund and left, and I will never be back. The young girl at the cash register was nice, but the cooks were untrustworthy. BEWARE.

Good food good service

Ordered delivery through uber eats. Ordered the popcorn shrimp, you barely get the shrimp part, just clumps of badder and tiny pieces of shrimp. And the cajun fries were super soggy and cold. They also forgot to pack a couple things, bottle of pop(!!) and the dipping sauce was not the one ask for. So disappointing. The only thing that was edible was the half and half fried chicken. I don t think we ll be going back there again.

Hands down best biscuit I have eaten, ever! I didn t know biscuits could taste that good! The chicken fingers were beyond yummy! Perfecty cooked and coating yummy! Not gonna lie didn t think it was gonna this good! So yummy and will get again!

Theyve only got my order right once and I usually go inside to order and see the mistake right away, but today I got home to find out that my 5 piece spicy tenders is a 4 piece and no sauce. At least my sons order was correct.

Waited quite a while for 2 crispy deluxe chicken burgers 15 to 20 mins. The lettuce was this totally soggie little piece ,the tomatoes was the size of a super thin sliced roma tomato. It was 21 bucks for 2 burgers nothing else. I will never go back chubby chicken and even macdonalds crispy chicken burgers is way better quicker and cheaper.

Ok, the Popeyes in Colwood/Langford is new. The problem here isnt the food, the problem is the service. Im sorry, you need to HAVE COMPETENT MANAGEMENT in there organizing the poor workers. The workers appear vastly overmatched when it comes to dealing with, quite frankly, anything. I dont want to make it sound like the workers arent working hard, they are, but they need guidance, they need someone in there that KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING in order to make everybodys life easier, including the store OWNERS. I was there on Tuesday at noon and it took AN HOUR to get 2 orders of 8 piece nuggets and fries. Not complicated stuff. I like the chicken, its good for fried chicken, not great, but decent, but I WILL NOT RETURN UNTIL THE SERVICE IMPROVES. THIS IS MANAGEMENTS FAULT 100%.

Been to the new Colwood location on four separate occasions to give them what I felt was a fair chance, after my first visit was not good at all. Chicken burger was hard and fries were cold. Chalked it up to them just opening. Have only gone through the drive thru.Have never been inside restaurant. The staff are nice and friendly. The food is somewhere between ok and terrible. I ve tried the chicken sandwiches, chicken, all the sides and everytime was disappointed. Everything else was just not good. No idea what the hype was about. Zero stars for me

She stayed late after her shift to make sure I got the items that were missing last time for free and that my current order was correct.
