Traditional Georgian meats, fish, dumplings & desserts are prepared at this family-friendly eatery.
The khachapuri was pretty bad, the dough wasn’t right and had a slight burnt taste. Khinkali was terrible, the dough was too soft, meat was too bland. The only thing I can recommend trying there is the honey cake, it actually tasted very authentic and delicious. Overall, there’s better georgian food in town.
I recently had the pleasure of trying Georgian food for the first time at this incredible restaurant, and I was blown away! The flavors were so unique and delicious. I started with khachapuri, and it was absolutely mouthwatering—the warm, cheesy bread was the perfect combination of rich and comforting, and I can see why it’s a beloved dish. For the main course, I had the khorovats (Georgian grilled meats), which were perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The spices and herbs used were unlike anything I’ve tried before, creating a wonderful depth of taste in every bite. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a warm, rustic charm, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’ve never tried Georgian cuisine, I highly recommend this place—it’s a true culinary adventure, and I can’t wait to come back and try more!
Loved the food, will definitely come back to try the whole menu again ☺️
We had a great time at Suliko. Food was delicious and service was great. If you like the Georgian food than definitely try it out. Thank you
We decided to try this Georgian restaurant and were very impressed! The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. Their plov and hachapuris can definitely feed two to three people. Katia was a very nice and attentive server. Thank you Suliko!
Half Georgian here 💁🏻♀️ I’ve never been to Georgia, but my extended Georgian family has grown up with me here in Canada, we’re basically neighbours. So though I don’t speak Georgian or know their culture fully, let’s say I know the food culture in and out. As I grew up eating it, it’s like comfort food to me. Georgian food is always warm like the sun, and yet I don’t eat it often enough for it to become mundane. I was craving it, and there it was on google maps, a 10 minute walk away. I was alone, so I was quite nervous. Like yes I am Georgian but with identity crises that comes with being mixed there was a layer of unease. I knew the foods, but I didn’t feel enough to KNOW them. The staff were really nice :) they said I can sit anywhere, so I chose the corner seat. OH! And man that entrance door is FANCY! Had me feeling like I was only allowed here for fancy dinners at first 😭 The chairs are comfy just like the food hehe. I ordered Lobio and Khinkali. My aunt always makes khachapuri so I thought I’d order things I only get to eat at bigger dinners. And man did they not disappoint. I definitely underestimated the size of the Lobio. Obviously it’s a shareable appetizer, come on Emily! But I got to take some home so whatever 😋 It’s SO good though. There’s never a SET way to make Lobio, it’s just always with kidney beans, so I love to try how each place makes it. They all taste good anyways. All the same power and warmth of spices but just different ones. They brought bread and different sauces to eat with it. Khinkali was just as warm. They’re Georgian soup dumplings. They’re GIANT so if you’re used to smaller Asian ones like xlb be prepared, 3 will make you full. It’s slightly spicy and has a nice kick, but not overpowering so you get tired of it. Again, the staff was so warm and nice, bless yall. დიდი მადლობა! Thank you so much for having me :D
Friendly, polite and helpful staff. They explained about all the traditional items on the menu and even showed how to mix the dish at the table. Portions are big. Some items, like khachapuri, take time to bake, similar to a pizza. Great taste and food presentation. Ample free parking space. Definitely recommended!
This was my second time at this restaurant. Because i liked it first time, I recommended it to a few of my friends to try something different from the typical restaurants. My friends and I loved everything about the service and the food. The waitress was super attentive, and she recommended some tasty traditional Georgian dishes. Everything we tried was delicious including the desserts.
Great place, definitely recommend.
Food is always great, service is good too, and it s not too expensive either, compared to a lot of other good dining places.
Very delicious and good service :)
A great Georgian restaurant
Amazing gattsu!
It was like visiting a restaurant in the 90s. The kitchen was not impressive. Not bad, but I wouldnt go back. Chebureks are not very good and neither is Napoleon
Everything is delicious and relatively inexpensive, I recommend it!
Too expensive and unreasonably overpriced for a regular restaurant! Food and service was fine, nothing special. Just a 0.5L of pear lemonade is around $12 (should be around $4) or 3 big dumplings $12.95(should be around $6).
Hidden Gem! Amazing food! You wont regret the eastern European meals. A high quality entree will make you full easily. I will definitely come back.
Very tasty food, excellent service, honestly, if we could give the soap a 10, we would give it a 10, we will definitely come back again. I recommend trying grilled khachapuri, it s incredibly delicious. I would recommend decorating the tables more aesthetically; oilcloth just doesn t look very nice. Khinkali, khachapuri, shish kebab, wine, chicken, satsivi... mmm... finger licking good. I will add to the previous review. The tables now look different, very atmospheric. Once again I am convinced that this is the best Georgian restaurant in Toronto. We didn t eat everything, we took it home the next day and extended the pleasure of eating. I would also like to note the high level of service, everything was brought quickly enough and the dishes were also changed depending on the dish. In general, I really, really, really recommend!! Sincerely, your regular visitors.
Gigantic portions. Good service. Absolutely loved it!
What an incredible place! The staff is welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. The authentic cuisine truly stands out, and Chef Tamara works wonders in the kitchen. Thank you all for bringing a touch of magic to our dining experience!
Wonderful service and delicious food! Great stew and stuffed crapes. Definitely coming back for more. Service was excellent!
Gone are the days when you could taste real Georgian cuisine here. The price is too high, the food does not even resemble what it should be
Dishes are a bit expensive, but very authentic Must order red cabbage soup The waitresses and ladies are very enthusiastic
As a Georgian person, I don t suggest eating khinkali here. It was horrible and has nothing to do with real Georgian khinkali. Only the khachapuri was worth ordering .If you want to try good khinkali go to Sarko or Georgian House.
Servers were friendly and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food portions were huge as well. Would definitely come back if I am in the area
Thank you for great service
Delicious Georgian cuisine and friendly staff.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Overpriced, bad quality good with expensive alcohol. Beer is 14 cad. It was a decent place when it got opened, now not worth visiting. Stay away!
Everything is very tasty and not expensive, good service, pleasant atmosphere, large and varied selection of dishes, good selection of Georgian wines and other alcoholic drinks. Thanks to chef Suliko, because... in other Toronto restaurants everything is much more expensive and more modest. Here I can eat like at home!!!
Great food and great service! It was a really pleasant environment. Ill Definitely return for another visit.
Love it always! And forever
I was passing by and stopped in for lunch. I was delighted. Thank you for the delicious food and service. It lifted my spirits. Well come for dinner
New experience Authentic Food
Awesome food
Great khinkali, especially with lamb. Superb Adjapsandal.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Some dishes were amazing, others I was disappointed but that may be due to my expectations. The Suliko salad would not be acceptable at a Georgian restaurant in Moscow. This restaurant is catered towards people who have nostalgia for the old Russia/USSR. A solid 4 out 5.
Warm beer, old or left over.. extremely salty hinkali ...
My last and final visit to Suliko. :( We have ordered chebureki and hinkali. All food was over salty and burned. Beer was warm. Absolutely disgusting...
Love The place
I taste many Georgian foods , and Sulikos foods are very close to grandmothers foods
Having visited the Suliko restaurant today, for a moment I found myself in my homeland - Georgia The waiters greeted me very warmly. Service at a high level. Thanks Anechka
I did a take-out for the first time. Tasteless. Too expensive. From Georgian cuisine only names. We took all kinds of meat, salad, potatoes and khachapuri.
Had several guests and ordered a takeout with a total of 390$ that included 4 Mix Grill dishes. The meat was just dry and not tasty. The guests felt the same as the ordered food was barely touched.
If you like cheese look no further
It must be written in Georgian in the menu. Its a shame. Thats amazing. Service with Denis was fantastic. Zalian kai pontia
Great place to experience Georgian food and music
Very surprised in a good way! It s a pity that I didn t know about the existence of such an atmospheric restaurant with excellent service and delicious food.
THANKS FOR CARE.
Great food and great service!
Fantastic onion soup, bread and dumplings. Will come again to try more food.
Don t recommend this place. Food was awful and the prices are super high. They charge $7 for a pop and 9 for a coffee that tastes like piss.
Very tasty food, great service, very polite staff!
Excellent Georgian Food! Must try Lamb Pilaf (Plov) lamb rice and fried half moon pie Chebureki with beef/lamb.
Tasty but the portions are small, one stick of kebab is $25, a little expensive
Great cuisine. I think what was helpful was having the staff aid in picking what we should order. The meat was tender and Id come again.
Good quality native Georgian food. Lots of variety. Definitely recommend. Friendly stuff.
Everything was very tasty! Juicy! The best tasting lamb in Ontario!
Great Georgian cuisine. Wonderful service and the outside patio is a plus.
Great service, fair prices, and amazing food in huge portions. This is a great place to eat.
nice atmosphere. good food . nice helpful staff
The waiter greeted us in the most unfriendly way, the dishes were dirty, the khinkali were torn, while we were eating, the waiter and his colleagues were constantly looking in our direction and we could feel their gaze (unsatisfied). The bill was generally thrown on the table. When we asked to collect khachapuri and chicken meat in a tray, he simply threw the box. The waiter was Ukrainian, this surprised us a lot, because we were friendly to him. We heard that the institution is excellent and the atmosphere is very friendly. But when we got there and saw the attitude towards the visitors and the dirty plates, we didnt want to come back here anymore.
We had an exceptional evening for a birthday party at Suliko. Our group of 30 people was served timely, with beautiful setup of appetizers and meats. Highest quality of food, seamless service, everything was so tasty!!! Anna in particular was very helpful organizing the menu for the evening. Will come back there many more times
Had a fantastic time at Suliko the other evening : the food was top notch (love Georgian cousin!!!) and so much variety for vegetarians! The products they are using are great quality as we felt light the next morning unlike in other places we dine . The servers were very attentive and not pushy - love the authentic Mediterranean style atmosphere that warms your soul on a cold April day . Thank you Suliko - well definitely be back!!!!
Today I gave you this rating because we waited an hour for the order (we only received cheburek)
Suliko restaurant is the best Georgian restaurant in Toronto. It has the best environment. Delicious barbecue and khachapuri. I want to thank the chef of the restaurant. Really the best food and everything is delicious.
My staff and I are regular diners at your establishment, and if we cant dine in, we opt for takeout. The exceptional service from the original staff and the high-quality food always bring us back. Each visit feels like being welcomed by family. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp at the front doors
Suliko
Whether youre celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an unforgettable dining experience, Suliko exceeds expectations on every level. With its exceptional cuisine, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service, its no wonder that suliko has become a beloved Georgian culinary destination in Toronto. We have been coming to Suliko consistently now over a period of 2 years, A few days ago we learned that our Favourite server(Sergey) was let go do to a few negative reviews against him and as it stands we believe that was not in him and we ve only had positive experiences under Sergeys service. Few suggestions from loyal customers here, we would like to see Sergey back and bringing back the original cheese used in Cheese khinkali and Hachipuri Suliko.
Baked trout was excellent, very good service.
Definitely will come again! Loved the assorted cold platter, hachipuri, and solinka!
Food is always delicious! Lamb Shank was very tasty. Love eggplant Georgian style.
Very enjoyed this place! The staff is really nice and accommodating, the food was great and reasonable priced. We really appreciated the vegetarian borsch option, the hachapuri was also delicious! Will visit again for sure! Definitely recommend:)
Other than the borsch soup, everything was terrible. They actually admitted to microwaving the rice to make it warm, and it was dry and for sure a day old at the bare minimum. The chicken shish kebab is not grilled on a flame or charcoal, very basic and bland. Asked for seconds of bread, and they brought us stale day-old bread, nothing like the first round. The service from the man server was very unenthusiastic. Would never go back.
It was a delicious barbecue. I havent tasted such a Georgian barbecue in a long time
Amazing food and value! Will be back :)
Primitive is not todays level like a mid-level dining room
Amazing food, delicious and flavourful.
Bad attitude with waitress never gonna go there again. We even did not seat .
Really nice place to feel your self like in Georgia ! Khinkali is amazing ! Service is really fast !
A good place for dinner in the company. Although its not the best Georgian cuisine Ive had the chance to try... its still worth a visit...
Delicious
Be sure to go with a russophone, you might be wondering what stuff is without one. Nice family atmosphere though, I ll be sure to come back! The soup is fantastic! Where s the Kvas?
The food is not tasty. This place miss represents the Georgian cousin which is great and tasty in other places.
Nice and delicious
Good food and welcome atmosphere.
Very tasty food Very polite and fast service. Food
Unfortunately the quality of this place has gone downhill . Ordered Cobb salad . It came without any chicken or bacon. $22 for a salad which consist of lettuce avocado and half a tomato is a rip off . The chebureki was re heated and stale . The chicken kebab plate was not fresh . The chicken had an odd smell and the fries were very greasy . This place is no longer busy that is probably why the food is not fresh . Unfortunately very poor quality of food.
Service was great but food although very bland
Amazing food and atmosphere. Highly recommend their Kharcho, Hachapuri and Shashlik. My only critique: strudel would be better without raisins as I don t like raisins.
Thank you once again for great food and making my family welcome. It was a bit windy on patio and they provided blankets to keep all the ladies warm. Big thank you!
Its my first time in Toronto, my son and I decided to have dinner at the Suliko restaurant. We were very lucky with the waitress Sophie, who made our evening pleasant with a pleasant smile, advice and quick service. The dishes are tasty and fresh. Delicious Georgian wine. The price is moderate. I recommend it. Many thanks to Sophie.
Delicious food, fresh ingredients , friendly staff, will come again ! Vegetarian options: Salad and soup selections and the famous cheese bread! Kid-friendliness: Families gather here for celebrations, very kid friendly, and staff are great!
Laughter and shame!!
The food is excellent, the service is excellent, but I missed the light music. Therefore, for the atmosphere 4. Thank you
Theres not enough light music for my taste. Background. Everything else is excellent. Fast. Tasty. Nourishing. We couldn t handle everything, the portions were very large, we packed them well!)
I love this place very much. Everything is always delicious and affordable. Nice music, good atmosphere and one of the few places in Toronto that actually looks like a restaurant. Thank you for being you!!
If you like Georgian or East European food, they are quite good, with a variety of dishes. BBq hatchapuri was very impressive and the shashlik (shish kebab) was nicely made although the meat itself wasnt the top quality. They offer shish kebab in beef, lamb and pork (which is rare, but Georgia is Christian, so you get Turkish style food buy with the pork option.) Decent practical interior with a Mediterranean ornamented outside reminiscent of Greek restaurants. There is a sizable oitside patio. The location is just north of Steeles Ave West in the small industrial plaza flanked by wholesalers and offices of all sorts. Plenty of parking and access by TTC public transit. Decent choice of Georgian wines and domestic beers, eg Steam Whistle or Molson. Very mixed clientelle, eg ex-Soviet Block, Italians, Koreans, as well as WASP Canadians hooked on the Georgian food tradition. They do birthday parties, too. A convenient wheelchair ramp outside, although inside the tables might be too close together for proper wheelchair manoeuvring. Very friendly service despite a language barrier. If you come with a Russian speaker it will really smooth things out (but thatsreally optional) , the ladies who work there are top notch and genuinely warm people! Parking: Probably about 30 spaces at least Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly but not like with colouring books or anything Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wide non slippery ramp
We were there yesterday with my family, everything was super special thanks to the waiter guy, we don t remember his name!
amazing food,super fast serving.10 stars
Portion is huge. The hachapuri was super cheesy. Ask the waiters to recommend their traditional food since some stuff on their menu arent traditional Georgian food. Very casual and tidy restaurant.
Great service and food. Definitely coming back!
We love the authentic flavours of a wide variety of Georgian cuisine.
Wow. Amazing food, excellent service, good atmosphere. The food though, seriously the salads could nearly convert me to a vegetarian!!!
The food was good, but far from real Georgian which one would expect at a Georgian restaurant. But everything was fresh and rather tasty. Honey cake and Adzharian hachapuri were truly outstanding! Great service, very amiable and attentive. Wonderful patio.
Amazing place for a unique ethnic food from Georgia country. I never taste a georgian food before, and this one really give me a good impression of their food. Komfot, their authentic drink is a must try, sweet and refreshing. Hachapuri Adjasky is also an interesting dish to try, their cheese combination with bread and egg is excellent.
My first time having Georgian food, server was very helpful in picking out dishes for us. Everything was pretty delicious. Patio was nice and covered!
Very delicious, authentic Georgian food. Beautiful decorations in the restaurant.
Something has definitely changed and not in a good way. I used to come here often for many years and never had any issues with food quality, however during my visit today I ordered Cobb salad which I ordered in the post and the quality was awful. Meat was cold and stale. It is supposed to be grilled chicken but it tasted like it was boiled in a soup 3 days ago. I asked to replace it and they brought me the same salad with the same chicken but fried My friend ordered a shashlik and the portion was twice smaller than it was before.
Delicious and authentic food, great service, and fair prices
Great food and service, a little pricey for the quantity but overall very satisfied.
I would recommend the Olivie salad because its really impressive. Other dishes are ok. Service here is not good. The servers didn t care when we walk in, and they even missed one of the dish we ordered.
Ive seen a lot of restaurants, all around the world. But Suliko is one of the best - atmosphere, food - exceptional quality. We enjoyed this place and certainly will recommend to everyone.
Tried many foods for the first time there, all were really .
Incredibly delicious restaurant of Georgian cuisine, I recommend it
This is my absolute favorite Georgian restaurant in ON. The food is always amazing! Food
This restaurant is keeping its name for a long time. They have very nice stuff, variety of delicious dishes. Very authentic. Love the place.
They brought the meat, which crunched because of the ice inside, when we told the waiter about this, they simply heated it in the microwave, the problem was solved, there were no alternatives
Before Suliko was much much better than now. We used to go to this place often enough. I am very disappointed with the quality, price, and portion of the food. We wont come back again.
Delicious! We recommend
I highly recommend this hidden gem. This was my first experience with Georgian cuisine. We ordered a spinach cheburik which is like a bread filled with spinach, their assorted salad is great, loved the beet salad and bean paste salad. The waitress was polite and she helped us decide most of the items. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was amazing. Everyone appreciated the flavours and its a new experience in itself. I loved the place and going back there for sure :-)
Khachyapuri is very tasty. Helkali
We love this place! We are a large group of friends with kids and this place always gives us the best service and great food. Highly recommended! Kid-friendliness: Have a kid friendly menu.
Great place. Highly recommend. Must try. Prices are not too high.
Delicious Georgian food with attentive service the lamb rack was beautifully cooked
I have been going to Suliko since 2017 and so many times recommended it to my friends, always food is delicious and excellent service but unfortunately, I really mean it, today I was disappointed by really poor service, there were few people when we entered , nobody ( waiters and waitresses) paid attention to us, honestly it wasn t pleasant, ok to make a long story short that the waiter ( there was only one waiter) was rude to us at the end and ruined our evening and didn t even return our change.
Lovely little spot for some authentic Russian food. Causal and easy to pop in whenever u like but it is popular so call ahead ulor go early.
Food was amazing! Our server was great! Management is meh.
Outstanding place, great food. I found everything I missed, including shashliki and chakhihbili!
We love going to Suliko! The service is ALWAYS friendly and fast. They really pay attention to little kids and try to accommodate which is very appreciated. The food tastes really good and the portions are just right. We love their garlic potatoes but everything tastes good there.
This isnt Georgian food. Ciabatta buns? Mini supermarket naan? Plus them charging rip off prices for wine etc. 160 for two people is disgusting. Wont be back. Save your money. Id rather eat at TIM HORTON
Only people who are not Russian or Georgian and have never tastes the authentic Georgian food, will think this overpriced bungpit, is any good
Great food
Excellent food! We love coming here as a family. Parking: Lots of parking space Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair for our son, no problem
Good Georgian style food, very friendly atmosphere with great service
I liked it! There were 3 of us families at one table today, a family event. Everything was done at the highest level, thank you. Delicious food, impeccable service, warm, homely atmosphere. I want to come again and again.
Amazing dishes !!!
Amazing food
Tasty and atmospheric
This place is a gem. The food was delicious, very nice and family friendly atmosphere, the waitresses were all very kind and attentive. We ll be coming back for sure
Amazing quality and authentic to the max. Thank you Chef.
The best of the best. The food here is unbelievable! I was absolutely shocked yesterday with how great everything was, including the service! Suliko deserves 6 stars. I highly recommend .
Food was average Supermarket bread and supermarket pitas 100% Georgian soup kharcho tastes like yummymarket kharcho Most of the food was missing lots of salt Food : 1/5 |
