Real Korean style chicken!! The other Korean style chickens you get in Canada are small in size and barely have any sauce on it or too salty and soggy. But here they have authentic Korean chicken both green onion and swicy were perfect. Very crispy but tender inside. I recommend getting boneless for green onion. Friendly staff and fast service. 1000/10 I would get this again!!

Found this place on google based on the high reviews and was very happy. Food was very good, staff was very kind & accommodating. I was impressed and will be back! Only downside was that i saw incentive for 5 star reviews, i think it was 10% off an appetizer for a review. Google reviews should not be incentivized, its actually apart of googles policies. This place should be more confident in the service provided and not feel the need to get incentivized reviews.

The food was delicious! My mom and I came to try this place out and each got the beef bulgogi and a side of rice. FYI the beef bulgogi comes in generous portions. You could definitely share it with two people. I also got the cheese sticks as an appetizer which were delicious freshly made! The menu is pretty small, but the quality of the food they serve is 10 out of 10.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the place wasnt busy and service was really fast! We got corn cheese, fried oysters, shack shack fries, and snowing cheese/swicy chicken. My favourite was definitely the swicy chicken since it wasnt too spicy which was perfect for me :)

We ordered kimchi fried pork belly with rice , beef bulgogi, and Korean fried chicken with rice. All dishes are very delirious , especially the kimchi fried pork belly is very flavorful the pork belly is crispy ,it s our favorite dish. The stuff is very friendly, service is excellent. Price is very reasonable. We will recommend you to try.

Ne Ne chicken could be better if the food was more spicy but overall I would recommend it because the cheese sticks were also really good but the chairs could be more comfortable.

Upon first glance at the NeNe Chicken menu, I was underwhelmed. They don t seem to have as many options as other Korean fried chicken places that I ve been to. Two big examples: they don t have many sauce options for the chicken and they don t have any combo deals for one - side has to be ordered separately. After talking to the server Adam about the different options for the chicken, I decided to go with the snowing chilli and wow this did not disappoint!!! The snowing chilli was the perfect combo of sweet and spicy but leaning slightly towards the spicy side. I usually prefer my friend chicken with sauce but was pleasantly surprised at with this sauce less option. It s Parmesan cheese and chilli powder mixed, the combination was perfect and this was a 5/5 for me. A friend I went with decided to get the hot bling, which ended up being kind of disappointing. The sauce seemed like it was the exact sauce that comes in the Samyang Bulkdak spicy instant noodle pack. This felt unoriginal to me and I wish they had at least one or two other spicy sauce options to choose from. They also didn t have any dipping sauce options aside from mayo or ketchup. I personally love mayo so I was made do with this. Other Korean bbq places do have various dipping sauce options, just don t expect that here at NeNe Chicken. The atmosphere at this NeNe Chicken was incredible! Some of their tables were built into these hut like structures which made for a cool experience. I felt like we had a bit more privacy which was nice. The server Adam was also incredibly nice! He greeted us with a friendly smile, he answered all our questions regarding the menu and he was super attentive to what we needed. Overall I m glad we came here. I would certainly come back to NeNe chicken, especially because of their snowing chilli fried chicken. Highly recommend.

Very good place to eat chicken wings

[SPRING 2024] Went here on a Monday afternoon with my dad to get some lunch. There are 5 rice dishes that have a discount from $17.5 to $13.5 at lunch from 12 pm to 3 pm each day which are the beef bulgogi with rice, tteokbokki (rice cake), kimchi fried rice, kimchi pork belly with rice, and boneless chicken with rice and you can choose a drink of your choice. We ordered the beef bulgogi rice and the boneless fried chicken rice and got two nestle ice teas. Originally, I wanted to order the japchae, but the japchae alone, without any meat and only veggies is already $18.5. If you want the angus beef, you have to add another $5 on top. Therefore, I substituted for the beef bulgogi rice which was on sale. The beef bulgogi really tasty and had good seasoning, along with stir fried white and green onions and carrots, which made the dish fulfilling. The boneless chicken was very crispy and good, too; however, the dish only contained chicken and rice. Thus it was lacking veggies. In the future, I would recommend that Nene Chicken include more veggies in all their rice dishes, or at least, have some veggie side dishes as well as a side of some soup to complement the main dish and make it more appetizing to eat. Also, it would be appreciated if they could include the angus beef with the japchae at its original price of $18.5, instead of having to pay an extra $5. Asides from the food, the service was great, as our waiter was very friendly and did his job diligently. The seating was comfortable, as it was big and spacious. Overall, I had a pretty enjoyable experience with Nene Chicken at Vaughan and will likely be coming back again. Although, I would love it if the owner/ chefs could take into account my suggestions for improvement :). [UPDATE - NOV 2024] - Dined in with my family on a early Saturday evening with my family. We ordered the regular soy garlic boneless chicken batch, curly fries, as well as the japchae without the beef since adding beef on top costed an extra $5. The service was great; however, the atmosphere is a bit tight to be honest, like the washroom is tiny and there s not much seating. Although, it makes sense, considering the smaller size of the shop. However, I was very disappointed this time around because the japchae was not up to my expectations at all and considering the price of the dish, too, it just seems very unfair and unappetizing. First off, the japchae alone with just the noodles and the veggies is already $18.95. That does not contain any meat or any other alternative protein at all, so that s a rip-off in my opinion, especially since the japchae was very oily and the veggies that were used were the same of that in the rice beef bulgogi dish. Traditional Korean Japchae is supposed to compose of shiitake mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, spinach, sliced carrots, and green onion. However, the japchae that I was served at Nene Chicken did not contain any shiitake mushrooms, sweet bell peppers nor spinach. And since meat is not included unless you pay extra, I would expect there to be at least some sliced eggs just for more protein and to make it worth the price of $18.95. However, there was nothing, just carbs and veggies which was very disappointing. The regular soy garlic chicken was also not to my standards and is lacking a lot, in comparison to Chicken Plus and yet the prices are about the same for both, but Chicken Plus even has some rice cakes included in their chicken. Also, I am not an endorser of Chicken Plus. I am just making comparisons based on the different Korean food placed I ve eaten as a citizen residing in Vaughan. The curly fries were pretty good, but I mean, you can t go wrong with fries. Overall, this was a very underwhelming experience and I will likely not be returning anytime soon, unless there are changes made to the menu and pricing because $18.95 for japchae with just the noodles being soaked in excess oil and spring onion/ carrots alone, is not worth it at all. Also, beware of the overly high rating, too, b/c basically if you leave a 5 star review, you ll get a discount.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at nene and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! If you re a fan of Korean fried chicken, this is a spot you can t miss. From the first bite, I knew I was in for something special. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. I tried a few different flavors, and each one was better than the last. The classic soy garlic was packed with flavor, and the spicy version had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste. The sauces are clearly made with care, offering a delicious balance of sweet, salty, and savory notes. The side dishes were just as impressive, with the kimchi and pickled radishes adding a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors of the chicken. The portions were generous, and the presentation was spot-on. On top of the amazing food, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations for both food and drink pairings. The restaurant itself had a great vibe clean, cozy, and perfect for a casual night out or even a quick takeout order. All in all, I can t recommend NENEenough. it was truly a pleasant surprise to find this hidden gem! i randomly came across nene chicken with my friend while we were in the area and we were so glad to have found it! we got the kimchi pork belly with rice and it was really cheap because of the weekday lunch special. we also got some fried chicken. the food was all very delicious! the service was also great, i m not sure what the waitress name was but she was very kind and helpful :) it was completely empty when we went inside so i wanted to leave a good review and hopefully boost this place so other people can hear about it too! definitely try this place if you like good food!

She was very helpful and made sure all the customers enjoyed the meals. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe and very clean. And the food, OMG everything tasted incredible and packed with flavour. I got a medium chicken in snow chili flavour with a side of cheese corn. The snow chili flavour was sooooo good and unique and I HIGHLY recommend. Im so glad I picked that flavour and now I want a bottle of that to take home and sprinkle on everything . NeNe Chicken is definitely my new fav Korean fried chicken joint in the GTA and I cant wait to come back and try their other menu items!
