This has got to be the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Cooks were quite slow, about 30 minutes for our ramen, though service was nice enough. Chicken karage was overly salted but decent I guess. The ramen however was absolutely disgusting. I’ve had chicken ramen before - the broth was as if you had blobs of grease watered down. The broth was at the same time watered down but also overly thick and creamy. My tolerance for “bad” ramen is quite high. I’ve enjoyed the worst of the worst Ajisens and the best of the best ramens in Japan. DO. NOT. EAT. THIS.
Midori Ramen is a ramen restaurant that specializes in chicken based broth. The chicken broth is very unique with smokey flavours, it's very rich with a nice creaminess. They serve a very nice bowl of ramen with fresh tasting ingredients. Service was quick and friendly throughout our dining experience.
This is the place for chicken-based broth! So delicious. I love this new cute place. Atmosphere is a bit empty because its new, but that means quick service! Highly recommend 😁
I've been trying various Ramen spots in the GTA, and I finally made it to Midori Ramen. The customer service was superb. Was able to be seated right away. The staff is friendly and not overbearing, and the food arrived in a reasonable time. I like the cruchiness of the chicken gyoza. The spiced mayo on top of it compliments it nicely. Would definitely order this again. The Ramen was good. I would definitely get it without the gobo on top next time. A tad to earthy with it one it for my liking. But no complaints otherwise. I would come again and recommend this place.
I had just gotten done shopping at the mall next-door and cannot decide on what to eat to save my life. So I drove around the plaza for a little bit and stumbled upon this place. I came in on a Friday around seven and was quickly seated. There was only one other table when I came in. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. I was kind of bummed they didn’t have beer at this location because a Sapporo would’ve paired very well with this Ramen. I had a hard time deciding on which Ramen I wanted because about three or four of them sounded good, but I decided on the spicy tan and added egg. The broth was good and creamy. It wasn’t spicy in my opinion usually my glasses will at least slide down my face from the heat;not so much. Was hoping for more bok choy but only got three leaves :(. But nonetheless, the taste was very good and I enjoyed the texture of the noodles hit the spot I really like the chewiness of them.
We tried the signature tori paitan, red spicy, and tori paitan shoyu, and all were good. We chose the first two because the set menu (available for 1, 2, and 4 people) had limited ramen options to choose from. The sets come with appetizers (choice of chicken karaage and gyoza) and drinks (standard cans of pop). The broth is flavourful, but on the creamy side (which may or not be a good thing based on preference). I liked how they had both pork and chicken chashu, and the sea lettuce was also unique compared to other places. Service was attentive and friendly, and we went during an off-peakish hour, so there wasn't a wait for a seat or for food. The plaza the restaurant is in has plenty of parking but it does get busy because of all the eateries there.
We tried the Original Tori Paitan and Truffle Tori Paitan. The original was pretty good, and the truffle one had a strong truffle flavour. The thin noodles fit my liking—neither too hard nor too soft. A little bit on the salty side, but most ramens are. The chicken was super tender, almost too tender to taste like real chicken. We also tried the appetizer sampler - Gyoza, Chicken Karaage, and Takoyaki. All were standard yummy. The purple yam fries were a pleasant surprise, especially the dipping sauce, which was sweet and sour, quite refreshing, just a bit pricey. Service was good. The place had sufficient space and looked clean too. Food (quality, creativity, consistency) - 4/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - NA/5 Ambience (interior design, cleanliness) - 3.5/5 Service (courtesy, knowledge, timeliness) - 4/5 Value (quality vs. price) - 4/5
This is my second time trying Midori Ramen and it was even better than the first time. Both the locations I visited had excellent service and they are always so clean and nicely decorated. The service was great and quick I was in and out within 35-45 mins. *if you like creamy broths this is the place for you.
Yummy chicken broth ramen! Very rich broth! The appetizer flight was fun and yummy! Service was good!
Took 40 minutes to make the most flavourless ramen of my life. Karaage Was good but 7 dollars for 3 pieces, NOT WORTH IT. Why was the lemon so small.
Great food & service, our server was great, some arrogant man at the table next to us was being a jrkoff & first complained about his table, then added 200 modifications to his order, then complained it was missing, then yapped loudly about how he wasnt tipping as a result. So I made sure to tip on his behalf. Treat restaurant staff with courtesy! This place is great and the next person I hear being unreasonable to a staff member is getting a bowl of ramen (thick noodles, add corn + extra garlic) chucked at their head!
If it takes you 20 minutes to make a bowl of ramen, then Id rather choose another restaurant.
Noodles were delicious, broth was a bit on the salty side. Had the pork belly and duck. I would probably rate more on the 3.5 side but no half marks.
I ordered the Red Spicy fire . It wasn t really spicy but had a kick to it. I like the creaminess of the broth with the heat. I would recommend the egg that typically comes when you order Ramen. Also make sure to order with egg noodles, that s a must!
Quiet, quick and tasty. The red spicy isn t spicy but tasty! I love that their servers are always very nice. I have never had a single bad service experience from this location :))) The music is very Japanese and so nice too! I didn t choose but they have some vegetarian options. I love thin noodle, but one thing could be better is having gluten free / vegan noodle options. It s not necessity for me but nice to have! Vegetarian options: There are two different ramen and few side dishes for vegetarian people. Unfortunately the noodle is not vegan. Parking: Most likely you can park right in front of the restaurant.
This place excels in every aspect. The ramen is to die for, no matter which one you get, the atmosphere along with the customer service never disappoints. Comfort place!
Ramen here is different as it uses chicken as the main focus for their broth and meat. Lighter touch with a rich aroma of chicken.
Delicious food, quick service! The purple yam fries were excellent and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dipping sauce.
Extremely poor service. Waited 40 minutes for three bowls, water was served 15 minutes in and no utensils given until requested and even when they were brought, we had a missing pair of chopsticks. Server was extremely careless, unapologetic and inattentive, would not recommend this location.
My friends and I had visited Midori last night for dinner. The restaurant s interior is minimal, and very clean. Upon entry of the restaurant we were greeted in a friendly and upbeat manner. The restaurant was really busy and full house at the time of our visit. I m quite surprise by the review below mentioning extremely poor service. As that s not what our group experienced. Even though, last night being that it was really busy for the restaurant. Our server was attentive, friendly, and informative. The server answered all of our questions because one member of our party doesn t eat pork, and we wanted to know what were our options to accommodate her. We didn t have any complaints from the service or the wait time of food. We all understood that the food was going to take a little bit longer. Based on the fact that it was dinner time, it was busy, and there were other tables that came before us that were ordering. We knew better to be understanding and have patience. Regardless I highly recommend this location. For the service, cleanliness, and quality of food. I highly suggest getting the Black Garlic. That s my favourite!
Truffle
Their broth is good. No too salty. Serving is ample and they have combo options for groups. Service is good and the ambience is ok. Highly recommended if youre craving ramen and youre in the area as well. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for the black garlic ramen. Ask the server for details.
Food is Ok but too pricy! Not enough portion for a $20 ramen. Ramen in North york popular location cost less than that. Wont come again
First time here and loved this place! Our waitress was very nice and took time to walk us through the menu. I got the original and my boyfriend had the truffle. His was definitely much more heavy but he enjoyed it! I preferred the original, still very rich but a bit lighter. Will be coming back!
Absolutely phenomenal ramen
The 3 kinds of appetizers is a good price but the black garlic ramen is too milky for my liking
Good food good service not much to say
Dietary restrictions: Easily avoid all pork even in the broth Food
The food was great! We tried the spicy ramen, but got garlic oil too.
Come for a bowl once a week. I must say I ve tried my fair share throughout Toronto and this competes with the best of them! Always received with kindness and punctuality. Must try for anyone who appreciates Ramen.
Delicious ramen! Really good portion for what you pay for as well. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying different menu items. Friendly service as the cherry on top!
Its fine ramen. A bit expensive for what you get but thats a lot of ramen places now.
From the moment I walked into Midori until the last spoonful of soup, my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The red spicy soup I had was a delightful burst of fresh and invigorating flavors. I commend the team at Midori for their exceptional work and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to all food enthusiasts. - Max Kamali
One of the best tasting ramen in GTA. I can eat here all day along.
Food was good but our server was so sweet and attentive
Ramen that really hits the spot. Really unique atmosphere at this Midori location! There are a lot of options on their menu, not only ramen! Although I didn t try much else, their noodles were great. Spicy tantan was quite good, it had all the bits and pieces you d expect from that dish and was executed very well. Large selection of toppings and ways to customize it. Pretty cool menu, and I would be excited to come back and try some more!
Ordered the red spicy and another time the spicy tan tan with an egg. Great flavours and choice of vegetables. Great portions. Quite creamy broth is very filling. Spices levels are conservative (I.e. mild is very mild). Found the thick noodles to still be relatively thin. To match the food is their amazing server that I had twice (forget her name) who makes the experience extra pleasant and lighthearted. Place was clean.
A few months ago, I saw that Midori had a promotional ramen: the Ghost Spicy. This is easily my absolutely favourite ramen dish I ve ever had. It was very spicy but not overwhelming or overpowering. The spices were properly infused into this ramen bowl and it was full of flavour. Words cannot describe how much I loved this bowl. After my meal, I easily felt that Midori is my favourite ramen spot. But felt that I can t make that judgement on one bowl that isn t even a permanent menu item. I went back to Midori a few weeks after and tried their Red Spicy ramen. This confirmed to me that Midori is the my undisputed ramen spot. On a side note, service was also exceptionally. The best service I ve received at a ramen restaurant.
I went here with friends after attending Canada s Wonderland Winterfest! We were a group of 6 and got seated at one of the big island tables. First off, the decor was so lovely and filled with luscious models of green spaces. I have been to Sansotei and Kinton before, but the atmosphere was nowhere as good as Midori s. Second, our waiter (Amir was his name I believe) was very kind with his service. He went above and beyond by anticipating our water needs before we even had to ask for extra water. At the same time, he made sure that all of my friends got their orders correctly (some of my friends are not fluent in English and forgot their orders). Overall, the food was pretty good too and it was awesome being able to see the kitchen staff preparing each order with the open concept design. Highly recommend everyone give this restaurant a try!
[visited 2024 January] I came in for lunch service on a weekend with my partner. We ordered the Duck Breast Tataki, Black Garlic Ramen and the Original Tori Paitan. The tataki is a sous vide duck breast with ponzu dipping sauce. This was really delicious but I thought the portion was a little small. This is a really refreshing dish and I really enjoyed it. I think it was a decent portion to share between two for a taste. The broth for the two ramens we got were light yet really creamy. It s perfect for the winter if you re craving something warm and hearty. We tried both the thin and thick noodles and definitely recommend the thick noodles! The chicken that came with the Original Tori Paitan was super tender and juicy, and the cha siu was also really tasty. The Original Tori Paitan came with a garnish which I believed to be crispy sweet potato skin (?), this gave a cool texture but I felt that it didn t add much to the overall flavour. The restaurant has a really nice interior, with little tabletop gardens set up at some tables. Overall so really enjoyed my experience here and will be back to try the other ramen dishes!
Food and service is great. Atmosphere is just normal, nothing special.
Ramen was OK, half the menu was sold out when we went on a Saturday afternoon. There was no alcohol yet either when we went. Just seemed like whatever we asked for, they didnt have it.
I had the pleasure of dining at Midori, and I must say, their black garlic ramen is a game changer. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a deep complexity that only black garlic can impart. Each sip was a delightful blend perfectly complementing the tender, perfectly cooked noodles. Will be back for sure.
The service and how often they check on you is what gives this place 5 stars
The chicken based Ramen broth was delicate and flavorful. The appetizers were all perfectly executed. I highly recommend this Ramen location you will be in for a treat! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Ramen available as well as vegetarian appetizers options Parking: Plaza parking
I picked vegetarian today. The broths are so creamy and delicious. The tofu nuggets fried so tasty. The fresh noodles is satisfying and suits the broth very well. Simple but very bright style restaurant and good service. I highly recommend this spot and would not hesitate to come back to try their other ramens.
Atmosphere is nice and clean. Went on off lunch hours so not much people there and the service was nice and attentive. I had their signature tori ramen and it s my first introduction to chicken ramen and I was not disappointed, creamy and flavourful not too salty like some tonkotsu and miso ramens. The takowasabi was pretty good flavour with a bit of a punch.
Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10
I found the ingredients didn t really live up to my expectations. The chicken broth was much to salty for my liking. Compared to other ramen restaurants in the city I feel there s way better quality and ingredients that come with other restaurants. For example the egg, it was just a regular egg, bland a boring. A little on the pricey side. This can easily set Two people back at roughly 70$. Would I return? Most likely not. Would I recommend? Not likely.
Food was flavourful, fresh and hot, but found the broth to be much saltier than what I m used to. Not sure if it s because it was a chicken broth vs the traditional pork broth. A vegetarian option was also on the menu They have a variety of different bowls with different toppings, you can also add items to your bowl! A good selection of appetizers that compliment the ramen as well
Great place, small menu, mostly ramen... havent tried the ramen but food was great, staff is new so not professional enough. Wait time is not that long, spacious enough.
I went as part of their soft opening. You can tell the staff is still learning, but the food and service was still great. Im looking forward to coming back once theyre running full steam.
This is a new location and I loved the interior decor. I got the duck shoyu ramen and it was delicious and creamy. Their appetizer flight was a great way to try their different apps, my favorite was their karage.
The food was great and the broth is rich and full of flavour. The two different appetizer flights were a great way to try a variety of appetizers without spending a lot. I ve been to a few other Midori locations before and the food at this location definitely had the best presentation.
The broth was really really good! Really creamy and savoury. The chicken and pork were so tender it just melted in your mouth. The chicken dumplings were surprisingly delicious and juicy! 10/10 would go again
Great ramen restaurant that just recently opened. They have many options with a variety of toppings and they have great appetizer options as well. We tried their gyoza, takoyaki and karage and it was all delicious. The ramen was good, and had great flavour as well.
Great ramen, very creamy soup. The duck breast appetizer was very tasty, but don t let the photo trick you - portion is a lot smaller than the picture
Wow. Finally midori ramen closer to home everyone. Fasten your seatbelts, we have been saved
Broth was too salty and the food was cold. This place values appearance over food quality. Would NOT recommend this place.
Delicious soups-I have been back twice. The broth was piping hot and packed with chicken flavor. I have never had chicken breast melt in my mouth like that before. The vegetarian soups are also delicious and well worth the visit. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Many choices
This restaurants are one of the best designs with great atmosphere. It was spacious and calm with no loud music or cacophony. The staff were not just Smiling but actually happy. And the food was great as always.
I got the red spicy bowl and the chicken karaage. The bowl was very flavourful, hints of spice and you can tell the chef made it with love. The meal overall left me feeling very satisfied. Staff is also bubbly and welcoming. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. Definitely will be back.
WOW!
A nice and cozy ramen bar. The service was great and i enjoyed the wooden decor. The broth on the ramen was creamy and super filing, worth a visit, to explore the type of ramen.
Their decor is fresh and new. Quaint cozy space and service is friendly. There s a good selection of ramens to choose from and they even offer kale noodles. The noodles can be thick or thin and there s also good amount of appetizers. Would suggest to try all three ramens out!
A small little ramen place that had big flavour. The soup base I found a bit too creamy for me- I actually thought cream was added. But apparently its just simmered slowly over a full day to get that texture, which is very impressive but ended up being a bit too much for me. Prices seemed a bit more than what I would have expected given the portion size as well. Over all still good food.
If youre in the mood for some delicious ramen, Midori Ramen is definitely worth checking out. Their rich broth is full of flavor and consistently delicious, no matter which location you visit. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. And if youre looking for a modern atmosphere to enjoy your meal in, Midori Ramens interior is sure to impress. All in all, Midori Ramen is a great spot for a satisfying meal that wont disappoint.
This place does not have good tasting Food and the quality of the noodles were not good, so as the chicken it just made me feel nauseous and smelt bad, also very over priced Food
I wanted to try the new grilled cheese ramen, but unfortunately I ran out of cheese so I had to go back to Buleis black garlic oil ramen. I like the thick, milky white chicken soup, which is not greasy and delicious. I even drank up the soup after finishing the meal. I like their snack combinations, including meat series and vegetarian series: Meat: Japanese fried chicken + octopus balls + fried dumplings Vegetarian: Fried purple fries + twig beans + fried tofu cubes
Visited during the Grand Opening on June 10/23 - lined up at 1030am and got in at about 12:30PM Went to take advantage of their B1G1 promotion during their Grand Opening. Theres nothing I can say short of YOU GOTTA EAT HERE. If you like Ramen or you find yourself a Ramen connoisseur you have to try the Ramen here. It is so delicious and creamy, packed with tons of flavour. The noodles are perfect. The atmosphere and service is on point. The pieces of meat may be small in comparison to other Ramen restaurants but the flavor and texture definitely makes up for it. Ive seen very few Ramen restaurants that offer Vegetarian Ramen so well done. My go-to is the signature tori paitan and the Takoyaki. Although my one criticism is that the price for the appetizers is a bit high compared to other Ramen restaurants. You get 3 maybe 4 pieces of Chicken Kaarage and 4 pieces of Takoyaki which cost $7.99 - so it is a tiny bit steep. But beyond price it tastes amazing! Midori has very quickly become my new fave Ramen place and I recommend everyone go check it out. I didnt like chicken broth before but Ive definitely been converted!
I wanted to try this location as this is new. So I went with my husband and ordered two bowls of ramen . We. Both were happy with the quality and taste of the food. After coming home within an hour we both felt sick. Our stomach got upset and had food poisoning. Either the meat quality was bad or something was wrong with the food temperatures. We both were sick for few days and loss appetite. Not going there again
Super yummy! Quick service! The staff is very friendly and efficient! Good ambiance at the restaurant!
Delicious and fast. Should be more generous with pork and chicken for the price.
Very rich broth, was pleasantly surprised by how flavourful it was, but also can get filling cause of the richness. All the toppings were great, really liked the gobo, sea grass, and the eggs in the original. The chicken shoyu was better than the pork and duck, which was surprising as well.
I love this location so much. I ve been lucky enough to come in 3 times in the last month and each time has been a great experience. The service is always super prompt and the servers are so friendly. Madison and Julie Ann have helped me on all 3 occasions and they have great energy and recommendations. Really enjoyed the appetizer flight (the chicken gyoza was my fave in this), the Red Spicy ramen, and the signature ramen. This is my new go-to spot.
Delicious food, amazing service! Atmosphere of the store was nice too. 10/10!
Decided to come try the vaughan Midori location. Out of all the locations I ve been to this by far is my favourite . Service and atmosphere are awesome! Great staff! I highly recommend the spicy tan tan! And Kale noodles! The chicken Gyoza are also to die for. Vegetarian options: Highly reccomend the Kale Noodles
Flavorful Ramen! Nice atmosphere and great staff
My family and I wanted to try out this new ramen restaurant that uses chicken broth instead of pork. We were pleasantly surprised! The broth was just as rice and creamy, perfectly seasoned! I was unsure of what to order, and the chef recommended the Spicy Tan Tan and she was right! The staff was friendly and amazing with my little guy. I will definately be a repeat customer
First time at the new location and nothing but good things to say! The truffle ramen is amazing, my go to always!
Food was amazing! Just like their downtown location. Not too much seating so there could be a wait if they re busy but we didn t have to. Definitely coming back. Their signature ramen dish is soooo good!!
Japanese name , Japanese owner, but absolutely not Japanese flavour ramen , so disappointed. Staff is polite though .
the food was good and the staff were very kind. the waitress with dark curly hair was very attentive and answered all my questions about the menu. thank you!
This place is delicious! The broth is very rich and flavourful. We had the signature Tori Paitan, the black garlic and the red spicy along with the karage chicken. The karage chicken had a hint of ginger flavour which was a nice added touch. Overall one of the best ramen places Ive tried in the area.
Must try and keep trying ramen shop with excellent customer service and flavourful food. Ordered the Red Spicy Ramen, and the Assorted Appetizer Tasting. It was our first time coming here with the recommendation of a friend, and the service from Madison and the gentleman co-worker at the service tables were superb . She described and went over the menu and made recommendations for the spice level; turned out great . My tolerance for spice is sensitive, so I opted for the Medium Level. The tasting appetizers were a good way of having a little of everything with that variety. There are a lot of options for Ramen in this plaza, but I would highly recommend this restaurant, and would come here again.
Been trying to find a good ramen place in Vaughan, and I think Ive found my new ramen place! I got the duck breast shoyu and my husband got the spice ramen and we shared an appetizer flight. Everything was delicious! The karaage is some of the better Ive had anywhere in Toronto, juicy chicken on the inside and a light crispy breading on the outside. And for the ramen, the broths are nice and creamy, the noodles are the perfect chew consistency for me, so good! Definitely will be coming back here.
Great taste! The broth was really rich and perfectly flavoured!
Already went twice in the same week Broth is really good and creamy, noodles were on point. Highly recommend the chicken over the pork. Food
Came here on Monday for the first time and I havent stopped thinking about it. All Im saying is... THE RAMEN IS DELICIOUS!! We got the original, red spicy and truffle... wow... each soup tasted SOO good and creamy! I would definitely come back!
Ordered the signature Tori Paitan ramen. The broth was nice. Youre not really getting much for what youre paying unfortunately. The decor is amazing however.
so delicious, my go to ramen place from now on !!
good quality ramen with a nice rich broth Vegetarian options: vegetarian ramen with vegetable broth that uses cauliflower Food : 4/5 |
Good overall but the Richmond hill location is way better.
The Signature Tori Paidan ramen with thick noodles was super yummy. And the karage was juicy, cooked well, and so flavourful! The restaurant itself has beautiful decor and is clean. The ladies working there were extremely friendly and had excellent customer service skills, and had great recommendations as well. Cant wait to try their other menu items!
Interior is aesthetically pleasing with tables decorated with faux bonsais. But the food itself was a tad disappointing. We got the seasonal/limited edition ramen and the broth was too salty for me. The egg that came with it was cooked well (soft boiled), but was not the typical braised egg you may see at other ramen places. Sliced pork belly was also too thin for my liking, there wasnt a bite to it. We got the sampler appetizer set and the karaage came in big balls - unique and still quite tasty. Vegetarian options: Menu items like tofu and vegetarian ramens Kid-friendliness: High chairs Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair door opener
Staff are super nice and friendly. Great vibes fast service delicious food! Karrage is filling. Duck ramen is my favorite
Love the vibe of the place and the Ramen was delicious, would have had another serving if we didnt have to be somewhere. Also had takoyaki for the first time ever and loved it. Definitely going to be a go to place for ramen. Food
Delicioso Ramen in vaughan
Amazing food, the duck ramen was incredible
Really excited to have a Midori nearby. Thought I wouldnt have to drive to the Richmond hill anymore. Food is good. But portions are small. This location never picks up their calls so you cannot on the phone. They force you to order via UberEats or skipthedishes where the same meals cost a lot more. Please pick up your phone!
Great ramen place, happy they opened a location in Vaughan
The texture of noodle is low quality and mushy. Will not eat ramen there again.
Nice ramen chain in Vaughan! Stays true to the chain with the same ramen flavours. Good service, and atmosphere is simplistic but clean. Some decor seems to be peeling or needs maintenance, but food is top notch and flavourful.
Like the decor and the food was good. Had to wait quite a while for food to come out though and felt it was on par with other good ramen spots in Toronto like Sansotei, Santouka, Konjiki, etc. But I wouldnt say it was a step above any of them.
Perfect spot for after shopping meal. Good quality apps as well as ramen. The soup base is very rich with complex layering of tastes. The service was quick and helpful. Very satisfied meal.
Very good Ramen place in a plaza with many options. Service was great.
I got the red spicy (spice level fire) with thin noodles and it was one of the best ramens I ve ever had. I ve never had chicken in ramen & this chicken was cooked perfectly & melted in your mouth. Definitely will be back again.
Great food, great atmosphere and staff, definitely one of the cleanest restaurants Ive had the pleasure of dining in
This location is underwhelming, the taste is not as rich and servers not as nice, the one in Richmond hill and Toronto are soooo much better. Don t recommend coming here, not worth your money. The other locations how ever are worth every cent
love the ramen, and appetizers, especially fried chicken!
Food
Yay! A location opened up in Vaughan!! If you re craving ramen, you need to come here! Amazing food and great service. Their meal set for two was for 2 bowls of ramen + either 2 karaage/gyoza + 2 drinks. So worth it!! Got the Signature & Black Garlic Food
We got the 2 vegetarian options and they were both really good.
Oh simply delicious. Although the portions are a bit small but the tastiness is very very high. And the restaurant is simply beautiful.
Great food, great
Takes the top spot for Ramen in vaughan. The broth was rich and creamy full of flavour. Black garlic is a must try. Service and atmosphere were wonderful as well. The food came out quickly and the staff was nice and polite
I tried their trademark Tori Buta Paitan ($19.49), but I was disappointed in the broth. The taste was off. While pork slices were good and the noodles were ok, Im never coming back to Midori for ramen.
Must try their chicken ramen!
We ordered both the thin and thick noodles, both had the perfect QQ chewiness. The broth was flavourful and you can tell that it was made with a lot of care over time
One of the best broths Ive ever tried. Been back 3 times now. Food
I ordered chicken karaage and the outside was burnt to a crisp but the inside was slightly raw. Had a freezer burn after taste. Waiter was a nice guy but could tell even he was nervous on the way the chicken looked whilst serving it to me. Ramen was not bad but it doesn t live up to the other Midori locations. Rarely leave reviews but this was disappointing
Nice chic interior design inside the restaurant but most importantly the food and service are quite wonderful. Great selections of Ramen type and good appetitzers. Chicken based broth is creamy white with great umami and right amount of saltiness. Maybe needed a tad citrus flavour to cut down the richness for my personal taste. One regret is the meat is on the stingy side though. All in all, definitely one of the best Ramen restaurants in GTA.
