Vietnam provides the core of this restaurant's informal Asian menu. Take out available.
Delicious Vietnamese restaurant with generous portion sizes. We loved the pho and bun cha. The service was a little slow but they told us beforehand, so we were OK with waiting. We would definitely visit again.
One of the most authentic Vietnamese spots around Toronto. The pho broth is tasty and the food is great value for money. The atmosphere is nice and airy. Also has one of the most complete condiment corners of any place I've been!
Visited on a Sunday evening and was immediately struck by the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Came here on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. The fried spring rolls were a standout—packed with juicy meat, they're an absolute must-try. Just a heads up, two rolls might fill you up, but trust me, it's worth indulging in four! Loved the attention to detail with condiments and utensils readily available, including Clorox wipes—a thoughtful touch. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in with a smile. While some dishes leaned towards the milder side, the freshness of the ingredients shone through. The meat and noodle soup base were particularly tasty, though a touch more seasoning would elevate the flavors even more. Looking forward to returning for another delightful dining experience!
Best Pho I have had in Vaughan 🤤 the broth is incredible! We also loved the deep fried spring rolls. Quick and friendly service, very reasonable prices and clean restaurant :)
Wow! I was very much impressed by the quantity that fits in these bowls! The photos don’t do it justice, but these bowls of soup were filled with meat and various toppings, definitely worth the price! The house special beef noodle soup (pho) was quite good, amazing flavour in the broth and truly an authentic taste. Plenty of high quality meats. Although the pho was amazing, the bun bo hue was a bit disappointing. Although it was also full of quality meats, I found it to be lacking the traditional components of the dish like pork jelly. The spice was also very minimal and didn’t taste much like the dish usually does. Nonetheless, clean and spacious atmosphere and plenty of toppings on the size as well, one of the best in Vaughan!
The best Bun Cha I’ve ever had! I travelled all the way here from downtown for food. Service: 10/10 - the staff is very nice and made us feel welcoming. Food: 10/10 - I love all the dishes here. The best dish I have ever had is Bun Cha Ha Noi. It is very authentic Vietnamese food and the taste is the same as it is in Vietnam. Price 10/10 - very affordable and reasonable price. The food portion is also good, more like family sharing food. The restaurant is also very clean all the time I visited. Plenty of free parking spots.
A very good Vietnamese restaurant in Vaughan. This is my second time to dine in this restaurant. My friends fly to Toronto to visit us and we bring them to this nearby restaurant. It is 8pm on a Friday night and are full, fortunately we take the last set of seats. The food is delicious, I especially like my vermicelli, B09 grilled beef & spring roll on vermicelli. The portion of beef is large and the grilled beef tastes very good. The spring roll is a pretty long one, taste okay but gives a little strange yellow look. Vermicelli only comes in one size, and I have to share almost half to my husband. I am extremely full after finishing it. The beef rice noodle soup also looks good, it has 4 sizes. Small size is good enough for lady if you also have side orders. Our side order is A02 fresh rolls with shrimp, pork, vegetable & vermicelli. The rice skin is chewy but not my favorite. Overall food tastes good, portion is big, seat is spacious and service is good and polite.
I recently visited Pho Friendly 18 and would like to share my experience. While the restaurant has spacious seating, I was disappointed to find that the food lacked the flavour I was hoping for. Despite the many positive reviews I had read prior to my visit, I found myself struggling to enjoy my meal. Despite this, I must commend the establishment on their comfortable and spacious seating arrangements. All in all, while my personal experience did not live up to my expectations, I encourage others to give Pho Friendly 18 a try and form their own opinions.
It was my first time eating at this restaurant today. My family and I decided to try out this restaurant because of their great reviews and they did not disappoint! We came near closing after some last minute Christmas shopping. The atmosphere is nice and clean. The food was yummy with generous potions and the service was amazing. The owner was very nice. I will definitely be coming back.
Tucked away but it s a hidden gem! Great food, good portion and the owner is nice. Must try is their special courses
Actually amazing Pho restaurant. Their broth is very delicious and their portion size is amazing too! A lot of meat. The spring rolls were seriously delicious too. Definitely going to become a regular here.
Impressively good and authentic Vietnamese food. As echoed in other reviews - bun cha Hà N i is really good. The fried shrimp tofu is especially delicious. Had the bun thit nuong (grilled meat vermicelli bowl) too which was excellent - the char they get is tasty. Every dish that my party ordered was great. Happy to say I ve found a viet restaurant here that is authentic and delicious. Caution: portions are pretty big!
I like the meats are so fresh. A huge bowl of noodle and meat. Nice to try it out
Amazing food not to sure about the friendly part. The man working was cold and rude. Asking him a question was almost a bother.
Really super delicious
Fast service, very flavorful, and big portions.
Great food, tasty & good quantity. Friendly and courteous service. Food
Awesome food!
Big portions.. They dont stinge out on ingredients. The price is amazing for the size of portion you get. Service is friendly as always. Our go to vietnamese restaurant when in Vaughan!
Today I went to eat, the staff was enthusiastic, the food was delicious. Will come back next time
Nothing outstanding, good food. I love the lighting in here Food : 4/5
I liked the place... the spring rolls... are delicious... the pho just a little more flavor... and this would be amazing... the guy was very kind and friendly... we will return soon...
A bit flat overall.. cant tell why exactly though.
We eat Pho Seafood and it was awesome, 100% authentic.
Best pho in Vaughan, very fast and friendly service! Always the same great quality no matter how many times I come
This has been our favourite pho to go to after wonderland. Updating this because we keep going back here. Still our favourite pho place in the city. We purposely drive up from downtown to Pho Friendly 18. Lots of meat. Best broth. Amazing flavour. Our kids also love the staff.
Visited on Friday during the lunchtime. The pho broth was amazing, Ive been to several pho restaurants in Toronto and this one is the best. They also have raw meat as a side dish to add to the soup. Fast and efficient service, we will be back.
I gave a very positive review 11 months ago when I first time here, after my first visit, I have been a regular customer in this restaurant. I almost eat here one or two times a week until the day before yesterday. I went to this restaurant in June 21 as usual order a small size well done rice soup because I didn t feel hungry but just want to sit down and have some thing to taste after work. I usually don t take receipt when check out. But this time after I paid, the lady charged me a medium price. I found out when I walked out the door of the restaurant. Then I went back inside and I knew she was watching me over the window. at the moment I walk back into the room, she pretended she just found out I had been over charged. In my opinion, it s impossible for her to make this kind of mistake without noticing, she didn t called me when I was on the way out until I stood outside of the window and checked my cell phone when the amount of money deducted showed on my notification. I believe she might thought I am an easy target because I seems never request a receipt so she can take a chance to over charge me without my knowledge. I will never ever go back eat here again with the dishonest staff. Suggest everyone check your bill when you pay.
We are regulars at this restaurant, and it s our favorite Vietnamese spot in Vaughan! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is friendly and prompt. The portion sizes are generous, and we always enjoy our experience at Pho Friendly 18! Highly recommend the Banh Xeo the batter is crispy and delicious, accompanied by fresh vegetables and herbs on the side. It pairs perfectly when dipped in the fish sauce
Soup was good. Large portions
Excellent pho and bun. Very generous sizes and very reasonably priced. Definitely will come again
I came here on July 13, I ordered 1 Pho and 1 BBQ vermicelli. Despite waiting, no one came to serve us or take our order. We had to call them multiple times. Finally, when someone came, I politely asked for a small bowl. I also wanted to have some extra fish sauce for my vermicelli but he hurried away. When he came back i asked him the second time. Immediately, he gave me a disapproving look and seemed unhappy. He still brought the fish sauce but warned me, Next time, wait until you know everything you need and then tell me once. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. We used to be regular customers, but after this experience, we will not be returning.
This place serves some of the best Pho Ive ever had! The staff is super friendly, and I especially love their iced coffee I keep coming back just for that!
great food great portion and great price!
Great place. Friendly service, good prices and large portions.
Food was really delicious, generous portion sizes and the restaurant is kept extremely clean.
Wasted money
On all accounts, WOW!! After a long day of travel, what a great find! Our waitress was so sweet! Her warm, kind smile was very welcoming, Pho Friendly Then the food was fast and hot and DELISHHHHH!! ALL 7 of us were very mpressed!! Thank you for a great start to our trip!!
This is a really good Vietnamese restaurant. The food is good and the portions are very filling. Pho has great flavour and there is quite a variety of meat options: ordinary beef and chicken, shrimp, to tripe and beef balls, fish balls and so on you can choose from. Its super close to Canadas wonderland and Vaughn Mills outlet and its a short cab ride if you want to get out of the heat of the day for lunch! Definitely a go to spot when down in this area. Ample parking and very easy to access from the highway or Jane St. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Lots of Pho that kids can handle Wheelchair accessibility: Washrooms are very clean and wide enough
This place is by far the best Pho restaurant around Toronto... The best price and the food is amazing (you should try the fried spring rolls omg)
We have been going to this restaurant once a month for the Bun Thit Nuong, Nem Nuong for 2. The portion is huge for 2 persons. We have left over to bring home every single time. They re very generous with veggies and herbs. We also like how spacious and high ceilings makes for a less noisy dining experience. Overall, we enjoy this restaurant and recommend it.
Good soup, good portions, generous amounts of meat. Their pho hits all the right spots and never fail to satisfy.
The food is quite good and staff is friendly but typical in the sense that you call if you need them. The food is quite authentic and portion is good. The pho dac biet has it all and good ingredients with some greens that I have not had in other places... the bun with beef, Spring rolls and shrimp sugar cane was also good. Definitely love to come back
Great food and great service
Great Vietnamese restaurant nestled close to Vaughan Mills. Gone here many times. Broth might be best in the area.
Best Vietnamese food I ve ever had. Fresh, great portions and quality. Our once a week treat. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!! Food : 5/5
Fast and friendly service, pho was fresh and full of flavour
My family usually went to a famous pho restaurant in Scarborough. Today this has become my best pho restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Naturally, the food was great and delicious. The head chef in charge of serving and kitchen was very friendly and brought water and extra plates for the children without us asking. In conclusion, if you want to have the pleasure of one of the best pho restaurants in the GTA, Go FOR IT!
Incredible, a gem! Finally, I have tasted perfection Vegetarian options: Tofu, seafood, etc.
Unbelievably Amazing Food So happy I found this restaurant
Still the greatest pho place after haven t been here for 2 years. Their pho portion is big, bun bo hue is great and never too salty. Service is great and washroom is also very clean. My go-to place when I don t know what to eat in Vaughn. Food
Best pho place in the GTA. Reasonable prices and big portions. Our go to place as a family that s been to 10+ pho places around the GTA. Nice and big, never feels cramped like some other pho restaurants. Will never not recommend here when someone asks for a great Vietnamese restaurant
Great pho, loved there well done beef and the soup
Best Pho in Canada. Hand down. I m always looking forward to visit this restaurant. They are doing it right! Very rare to see anyone running a food business so flawlessly. One hundred complaints to everyone!
I ve never been to a restaurant where we were treated so poorly. For a restaurant to be called Pho Friendly, they were anything but friendly. My family of 3 came around 1pm, and quickly ordered 3 dishes + 3 drinks. Service at that point was okay, but slow. By the time we had finished our food and went to pay, we had reminded them of the three drinks. We kindly stacked the dishes, and wiped the table so that it would be easy for them. 30 minutes later when we have paid and our table was cleared, the drinks still had not arrived. The male server with the gold hoop earrings saw that we were still there, so he rudely came up to us and aggressively said to my dad: what do you want? in Vietnamese. After going up to the cash register again to question about our drinks, the woman accused us of not writing down the quantity of drinks correctly, but quickly realized that she was looking at the wrong table order and corrected herself. We are empathetic towards a busy restaurant and understand that there are delays, but the tone and aggression when he approached us was very rude and tasteless. After finally receiving our drinks, our avocado shakes were nothing but ice, and could not taste any avocado. In addition to that the iced coffee had a considerably great amount of coffee grounds still in the drink. I ve never been to a vietnamese restaurant where service was this rude, and quality of food was this bad. I wished i had taken a photo of the food, because it was quite disappointing also. I hate to do this to a small vietnamese restaurant, but I hope this is not a representation for other vietnamese restaurants that actually honour great food and service. Absolutely disappointed in our service and food today.
Used to be our favourite spot to eat in 2021, came back today dec 26 2023, and made the huge mistake of placing an order for PICK UP rather than dining in as we did before. We placed our order of 3 meals and a strawberry smoothie around 5:45 and it said it would be ready for 6:40. We came at 6:35 and they said 5 more minutes, we waited until 6:55. They were empty except for 2 families that came in after us and they were served their food within 20min. The server was very rude when telling us just to wait. That was the least of our concerns. We got home and the seafood plate we ordered came with 95% veggies and sauce and 3 pieces of RAW shrimp, a tiny piece of crab, and half a fish meatball.. The rice was dried and crusted from sitting out too long, which made it inedible. My husband and mom had to ration them so they could both have a little bit of meat. The shrimp seemed to just been taken out of a freezer and tossed on top of the warm noodles. The smoothie was completely watered down to the point it just tasted like an unflavoured slushie. My meal of tofu was also flavourless and watery. We suspect this was because we didnt tip in the online order (for PICK UP). We always tip at least 20% when we dine in. Not because their service was good, but it was good enough. We paid $72 for frozen/raw, old and watered down food. Their service has been declining since we first ate there in 2021ish (which btw they didnt have any Covid protocols such as temp check, checking vaccine statuss, etc). And now it has hit rock bottom. If you pay $72 for 3 meals and a drink it should be at least cooked and come with whats advertised. Lost a loyal customer. Pic is of the frozen 3 shrimp/1 piece of crab/fish meatball my mom and husband had to ration.
Great Asian restaurant. We only order Vietnamese from the menu but, the have other choices. No regrets with Pho and spring rolls.
Best pho spot in Vaughan! Meat to Noodle ratio is perfect
I like it
We go here often as we can. The portions are super and quality is good too.
Staff here are so rude and tasteless. One of the workers yelled at us for waiting for our drinks that we ordered almost an hour ago. The food here was not great. Hope this restaurant does not represent the Vietnamese culture and food.
really tasty viet food here! everything i had was a hit! i got broken rice with chicken and pork and it was really good with huge portion. the grilled leaf wrapped beef was also delicious! prices here are a bit pricier than some other pho places though.
Clean, cool, fresh, fair portion, take credit card , raw beef is excellent
3.5/5 overall. Food: we ordered spring rolls, pho and rice dishes. Portions was generous and the pho had a good ratio between meat and noodles. Don t be in a rush though- they appeared to be a bit understaffed so it took a bit to get our drinks and overall service at the front was slow (food came pretty quickly). Prices are very reasonable, restaurant is spacious if you re looking for larger tables/more room.
Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with good service and quality ingredients at a fair price.
Food was very good and the quantity was good too
We ordered the house special pho and egg pizza. The beef soup base was very rich. All the ingredients tasted good. The basil that came with the pho was very fresh, unlike some Vietnamese restaurants. The only minor drawback was the rice noodles. They were good but not as good as another pho wed tried, comparatively speaking. The egg pizza was a surprise. The waitress told us several ways to eat it. Not only did it taste good but it was fun to consume it. The restaurant was clean with a relaxing atmosphere. Our waitresss attentiveness was just right - she was there when we needed her but gave us room to enjoy our food the rest of the time. Overall, it was a very good experience.
Great service. Good food. Good prices. Will visit again.
I dare you you to finish a bowl of pho soup by yourself!! rice rolls were nice and fresh too well supplied with utensils already on the table very professional staff clean washrooms with paper towels actually in the paper towel dispenser Parking: on a holiday, lots of spaces. restuarant located amongst office buildings
The bowls are not very pricy, super tasty and there s a variety of sauce options. The chicken broth vegetarian soup was very filling I couldn t even finish it. The fresh rolls with chicken were delicious and the service was great.
Great staff and great food. Highly recommended
Very good Pho and Vietnamese coffee!
it is big portions and good taste. we had been there for couple times. we would drive 40 minutes just to go there. it is our to go place. we tried different platters, pho, special noodles. very generous amount. yummy food. friendly staffs. please go there with a hungry tummy. You wont be disappointed Kid-friendliness: kids can have the bbq and rice, spring rolls..
May be we went when the cook was away. Food was ok at best. Rather tasteless. Service was poor. They give you tea and dont ask if you want anything to drink. They take your order and bring food at different times for everyone. Some were finished eating while others were still waiting on their food. Noone came to ask if food was ok. Cleared dishes without asking if we were finished. I have no idea how this place has such a high rating.
Amazing food! The portion is really big! Taste authentic Vietnamese style you can see how big the rice paper roll dish with those grilled meat and fresh herbs ! You can roll over 20pcs + ! will definitely go back to try more things! The boss is really nice and helpful as well just like the name pho friendly
This place is killer. Dont sleep on it! Generous portions, great food, and they have a bunch of offerings you wont find at other places like bun ca ha noi and bun dau mam tom. Really a standout, I cant recommend it enough.
Delicious food every time, large portions, friendly and kind staff. Highly recommend this place!!
Excellent Pho! I highly recommend it.
Best Bun Bo Hue (Hue style spicy noodle) in Vaughan. Never forget the authentic soup. Beef and pork were high quality. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly as their name.
I would give this restaurant 4.5 if I could. The service is super fast and the food was amazing. Also very affordable. Definitely would go back. We ordered a noodle dish, rice dish and cold spring rolls. Everything was great and we only paid $45! Kid-friendliness: Booster seats available
Good service, good food and good prices. Tucked away a little and ambiance is lacklustre. Would definitely go back.
Locals favorite, great selection, clean and delicious!
I wrote down don t over cook and they gave me this. When I returned this to them they told me to remove it by myself. Both side of chicken were so gross even I told them in advance. Sorry, one star or even less.
We always come here after shopping at Vaughn Mills. Great bowl of beef pho or bun bo hue. For the bun bo hue, I love that they offer 2 options: one with beef slices etc or the traditional version with pork hock and pigs blood. They use real avocado in the avocado shakes. Service is friendly and fast. Booth tables are large and spaced well apart, so youre not crammed next to another group. Really cant ask for more.
Very friendly waitress and gigantic portions. The food was delicious. I look forward to dining here again the next time Im in Vaughan.
The reviews don t lie! This place is sooooo good. Delicious & flavourful. 10/10 recommend!!!!!
Amazing service and better food!
Love the quality and portions of the meats in the pho and rice dishes at this restaurant. There are so many Vietnamese restaurants in the area its so easily to miss/overlook this hidden gem! I would recommend Pho Friendly 18 to folks that hasnt given it a try before - who knows, you may become a regular like me ;)
The beef pho is delicious but the coffee is too bitter.
Food excellent, nice place and very good price
Very cozy place. Never too crowded. Food prices very reasonable.
Edit: its been 3 years since my last review. Im still visiting this restaurant and it has still been consistently delicious. Pho broth is so deep in flavor and they do not cheap out on meats/noodles in their pho. Delicious tasting pho. The pho was filled with flavor and loaded with meats. Extremely satisfied with the food and with the service provided by our server. Im likely to return again when the pho cravings hit me in the future.
Very clean and good food. Service was kinda slow, but polite.
Love the portion and taste of pho/rice dishes here. Must try the appetizer platter (Bean curd skin with shrimp is surprisingly good). Will be coming back regularly.
Pretty good pho place. There are quite a bit of pho restaurants within the vicinity but this place is relatively decent if you re looking for virgin food.
Lots of fresh viet herbs and great authentic vietnamese cuisine ! Plenty of meat to noodle ratio with lots of hot soup!!
Awesome food and friendly service. Fast and reasonable prices. So tasty, will definitely visit again next time Im in Vaughan.
Pho but unfriendly place I had a server he was so bad service I couldn t ask him about food he wanted to beat me up..
Cozy and clean! Staff are nice. Food has big portions. Taste great
Good portions, tastes great! Service was a little slow, but they had signs around the store to let you know itll take long.
We ordered M01 which the picture showed beside it is a fried noodles with soup, and it turned out to be noodle soup. We pointed out that makes no sense at all,and the owner said there s a choice under the menu that you could choose dry or wet,but it s not easy to notice the small words under that menu. If we didn t write wet or dry,you should at least ask us.Feel so bad about that experience.
Bad service last week. Seem no hire more server Only a couple. Fighting in a kitchen Veg Salad is wet ( no drain well) Pho is tasteless .cold soup Disappointed dinner
Good food, huge portions, awesome flavour. Lacked any atmosphere inside. Pho and vermicelli with spring rolls and pork skewer very nice!
Well-maintained, family-owned restaurant serving delicious food.
As a Vietnamese person, I can say that this place is very authentic. My favourite dish from here is the Mi Kho Dac Biet!
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Vaughan!
Authentic Vietnamese food Value for money Location location location Spacious Clean Organized Friendly
As their name advocates, everyone here is so friendly! Servings were large and the pho broth was also quite fragrant compared to other viet restaurants in the area.
Great selection and delicious food in the Vaughan area.
Dirty plates Rude server and maybe owner. Disgusting! Never go back and never recommend to anyone.
I ask for no green onion, got no green onion
Great food! The pho I had here was 2nd best I had here in Toronto. I also tasted their Vermicelli with Grilled Chicken and it was good! Definitely one of my fave Vietnamese restaurants in GTA!
Excellent pho and vermicelli, with friendly staff. Nothing fancy, just what you need when you want some Viet food.
friendly services and great food
Usually I would have a XL pho in other restaurants, however I can t get it done with L pho here even though I am really hungry at this moment, that s amazing with the good service!
Great food perfect after Wonderland
Excellent food and service. One of the better Phos in town for sure.
Amazing service and FOOD
Understaffed and over exaggerated food. Only the prices were decent. We arrived on a saturday evening, they were understaffed. Seems like they had the family working only. Anyways, they were decently busy, however, there were tables that were not cleaned. There was only one person FOH. She did the host, order taking and serving. She had no time for cleaning the tables that finished. We were eventually seated. During our stay, other groups were faced with the same predicament of having to wait till the tables were cleaned.
Good food, in a slightly out of the way place
Very delicious! Large size with very cheap price!
used to be good
I dont live close by but it is a must whenever Im in the neighborhood. Pho friendly 18 makes the best bún bò hu , punching with flavor, super generous with all the meat. Their regular pho is delicious too. They are generous with the herbs. All the staff are super nice.
Pretty good!
I gave this a 5-star last year, but things have changed. The quality of beef is different and the broth isnt as good as it was.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years and often dine-in or pick up weekly. Food is always 10/10! We ve tried a variety of the menu and always enjoy everything we ve ordered. The restaurant has really great portion sizes and food quality. Thank you for being our favourite place, we always look forward to eating here, and hope you stay in business forever.
The foods are average. Services are ok.
I ve been to a few Vietnamese restaurants but this one is my fav! I got the chicken with rice, egg and crab. It was delicious!
This is the spot for great pho broth. Try the summer rolls
The owner of this restaurant is very kind, and their food is exceptionally clean, evidently from their visible kitchen. The food tastes delicious and they give generous portions! Check them out!
I ordeed bun dau cha muc mam to to go and got home the fry tofu were went bad and taste so sour. Never order or eat here again.
Probably my favourite place to get Viet food. Excellent vermicelli and rice portions. The vegetables are always crisp and crunchy and super fresh. The spring rolls are done with rice paper and are full of meat and so fresh and crispy. The meats are done to perfection and seasoned well. We got some complimentary pho broth and the flavour was so deep and rich. Viet iced coffee here isnt too strong but it tastes perfect. Bonus - they do pickled habaneros which I love.
Excellent! Very high quality pho. Choice meats and very fresh side items. Really, really impressed. I was really surprised. Lovely service Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly
Best pho ever
Best Pho in the City! Their broth is the best ive ever had! Come here on a weekly in the winter!
Portion is huge. Hands down the best pho in GTA.
We went inside and we were looking for a place to sit with my Family and we wanted to sit in the corner, they were not even busy so we were wondering if we could sit anywhere, this guy literally yelled at us to sit where he wanted us to sit. People were looking at us because of how loud his voice is. The restaurant is literally called Pho FRIENDLY yet the employee treated us like this. Do not recommend this restaurant. Very rude guy. Why hire a employee like this???? or if its the owner why own a restaurant if you treat your customer like this. VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!! If i could rate 0 or negative I would
Service was very friendly and inviting. Food was good. Ordered pho with rare beef and beef flank. Portions of meat were generous and the flank was a proper cut, and not too fatty. The iced coffee with condensed milk was a very delicious dessert coffee. Look forward to our next visit here. Also had quality booster seats, for those with kids
The food took an hour ,The owner yelled at my group of 5 people and told go somewhere else.NOT FRIENDLY like the name.Bunch of losers.
Terrible service, don t go !!!
Delicious pho restaurant which is extremely clean and spacious. Food portions are generous, the servers are attentive, and the price is very reasonable. If youre reading this and contemplating where to go for lunch or dinner, do yourself a favour and give this place a try.
Ate here a few times before. Ordered online today, which was a very easy process. Food was fresh and was a good portion too. Really satisfied and will be back.
Very good Pho restaurant. I love their beef broth, lots of beef and the portion was good. The first time came here with my husband, we are definitely will come again.
Bun rieu is bombs
Ive been going to this spot for lunch 2 or 3 times a month for the last year. Food tastes great and the portions are large.
Been twice this week and the food was very good. The XL pho was huge and enough to share for 2 kids. I also try grill pork rice and beef bun, it was good.
2022 Aug update. Food is still tasty but service is really lacking. At the end when they give us the bill, they don t even bother to calculate the total for us. ________________ Was wondering how come there s a pho in this weird plaza. Don t seem to have much foot traffic but on Google there s 400 plus reviews and 4.5 star. Decided to give it a try and were not disappoint. All of us agree its the best pho in Vaughan. Portion is huge! I wish they can offer smaller size. It s enough for 2 ppl for regular size pho. Love that they have Bun rieu as it s not available at most pho place and it s actually taste good! The coffee is super sweet. It s ok with me but for some of u may want to request less sweet. The take out box comes with dipping sauce too for our spring roll. So thoughtful!
The Best of the best. Only managed to try Pho, generous on meat and ingridents (still have meat at the end). Will definitely come back for their specials. Warm and attentive service. Vegetarian options: Vegan menu Kid-friendliness: Ton of boosters available, spacous
Delicious! Lots of beef in pho, lots of Vietnam varieties to choose from, more than typical pho places. Yummy butter chicken, spring roll, northern region noodle, etc. Great place to check out!
Easily the most beef Ive ever seen in a bowl of pho. The noodles and soup are great, and the fresh rolls are big and springy. The booths have pleasantly high privacy walls. Something to consider are the solid seats - beware if you dont have the assets to soften the experience. Staff isnt particularly nice, especially if you dont tip them enough.
Always so friendly and nice! Food is fresh and delicious. Good pricing.
Very happy with this place! Since 2022 started I felt that with the new price changes from most restaurants, I felt that the price and quality of most places I used to frequent has significantly changed for the worse. Luckily we stumbled on this place and i have to say this is the best pho I have had in years, but their other food is always very good! This is the first time since the pandemic that I have been satisfied with the service, meal quality/quantity and price all together! If you find this place and you like the cuisine, you must give it a try!
Was in the area and decided to try this spot for dinner. We were intrigued by the menu which has some interesting dishes that you dont often find in the east end of the GTA. We got a pork chop/shrimp in bean curd/fried egg rice and a vermicelli dish with grilled pork belly and fried tofu. The rice dish was pretty average but the shrimp paste in bean curd was really disappointing. We thought it was undercooked because the texture was mushy like wet bread and the waitress explained that its cooked but they had an issue with the supplier and that other customers have been complaining as well. Im sympathetic to their supply issues but wasnt sure what that explanation did for me in terms of still being served a food that they knew was inedible and problematic. There was some reluctance to offer any kind of solution but she comped the dish which I appreciate. The vermicelli dish (B25) was pretty good in terms of flavour and came with lots of fresh herbs and green but we found the thinly sliced pork belly to be a bit overcooked and tough. The menu also said it comes with shrimp paste (which is partly why I ordered it) but when it never came and when I asked the server she said it doesnt come with it and didnt give us any. Overall, a somewhat disappointing and forgettable meal.
Place has good food, but its a little dark in the restaurant. Overall service was like family style, but I go there for the food.
Amazing food and service.
Ordered homemade special pho, taste very good!
Recently tried Pho Friendly 18 for take out and was very impressed. Authentic pho that was perfect for the fall weather. Portions are generous and I highly recommend both the fresh and fried spring rolls. Staff was very nice when I picked up the food and everything was packaged securely for the ride home. 10/10 recommend.
Great tasting pho and spring rolls. A little pricey ($18 for XL pho and $8 for the spring rolls) but maybe it s just inflation.
We were shopping at Vaughan Mills and found this authentic Vietnamese restaurant nearby. It was late in the afternoon and very few were at the restaurant. We ordered a special rare beef pho with beef balls, a Bánh xèo (the pancake was crispy), a grilled pork / shrimp on sugar cane bun, spring rolls and a iced Vietnamese coffee. All the dishes ordered were very tasty with quality meat, generous portions. The coffee was the best I had at similar type restaurants. I would have rated it 5* if not for the mistake they made on the bill, a hand written bill as $95 but was supposed to be $59. We almost paid the wrong amount if my husband did not sound the alarm that the amount charged was not reasonable giving what we ordered and checked the bill. I hope this was just a stand alone mistake and we will give it another try and return for the food next time we are over at this side of the city.
everything is perfect!!!! no more word to say, love it :)))
RAWW CHICKEN!! This place does not know how to cook chicken. I go to this place for lunch. I got raw chicken in the fresh rolls this is 6th time.
Parking: Plenty of parking spots Food
This place obviously DOES NOT want to do business. I have never written a food review before. To Pho Unfriendly 18 all I can say is - Change your attitude manager/owner: have the decency to help out your employee & treat customers with due respect. - Clearly write out the receipts, instead of a lump sum on the receipt. Especially when you are charging service charge on top of tip without notifying customers. - Let the customer know if part of the meal is still coming Folks do not I repeat DO NOT be swayed by its name. This place is anything but friendly. While we noticed there were only less than a handful of tables sitted during peak lunch hours we decided to try it out and help out a local business. We sat down & ordered food. One singular dish came out in separate lengthy intervals. We thought wow this dish is hella expensive for the sheer amount. We finished it and after half an hour, the part two of a singular dish came out that we had already finished. What?? Well Ok... While there were less than a handful of tables occupied, we understood from the time they took, so we only asked for the bare minimum: a serving spoon that was missing in order to eat the dish & a singular teapot refill. After finishing the meal, we decided to go up to the counter to make it easier for the singular female server who was also the cashier and the manager/owner (who does not do anything) to pay. The bill came in one lump sum with no clear indication of the prices distribution (dish, tax, etc). We paid yet something wasnt right. Thanks to our Asian math we were able to calculate with a menu that we definitely paid more. We spoke to the female server/cashier & she was quite nice about it, however the manager finally did something (honestly thought he mightve been part of the restaurant or something) spoke rudely to us. After quite some time of trying just to understand what they charged us. The manager begrudgingly said it was an extra service charge on top of tips that only our table was made to pay & no other table (this is the what the heck part) because we asked too much. WOW..... what a character! Let me remind you all we asked was for a missing serving spoon & a single teapot refill.....
Came here on Saturday around 4:00pm, they are not busy. They have only one server and she is very friendly. There Pho soup is very tasty and the tomato soup is a surprise, we love it. We also order the appetizer fried squid cake which iny opinion is a must try. Parking is easy during our visit. This is one of the best Vietnamese Pho restaurant in thhe area. Parking: Lots of parking spots here.
Food is delicious, old guy at the front is rude
beef and noodles are so fresh delicious
Very nice people serving tasty food!
Good quality of Vietnamese food
Nice restaurant. Rare beef pho had WAY too much beef and not enough noodles. Was just okay.
A hidden restaurant in Vaughan. Not many people know about this place. Foods are good and price is reasonable
