Ive visited this place multiple times and am very satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendly service from the staff.

Terrible service and even way worse food. Please don t trust the reviews on this restaurant as I finally found out those fake 5 stars review are from their family and friends. When I went to eat that day the table was dirty and had flies flying around. Once the ordered food arrived it was so bad and the portion size was ridiculous. Please stay away and save your money and especially your time. DO NOT RECOMMEND at all!

Took around 30 minutes to get a coffee without the non-dairy milk I had asked for because it wouldve made the small americano too big. Had the americano taken away then brought back reheated with a side of cream (dairy). Then waited another 40 mins for a tortilla with cut vegetables in it which they called the vegan wrap. The plate came covered with their special sauce which was made of mayo (not vegan). I pointed out that mayo is made from egg and asked if the mayo was also in the wrap or just all over my plate. She said it was not in the wrap and left. All three meals and drinks my group ordered were terrible and not properly mixed. Do not called a wrap vegan if you smear egg all over the plate my wrap is on. Should not have paid. Do not eat here if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Staff negligent

The behavior of the staff was awful . The guy who works there just doing cheat chatting with female staffs over there laughing at people and when you ask for something they behave with bad attitude to you. I won t recommend this place to my friends and family

Came here while visiting some family. Got a pistachio tea latte and my sister got a latte. Both were delicious, and presented well. The latte even came with a little biscuit which was nice. Atmosphere was good, plenty of seating options as well as a couch. Great for a rainy day.

This place offers a lot of choices. You can have western breakfast/brunch or go with Persian options. The staff are very nice and helpful and the place is very well maintained and clean. The food is super delicious and comes in a generous portion. Try this place especially if you crave Kalleh Pache ! Update just few days ago we visited there again and got a Royal Sandwich which was so good and tasted like Vije sandwiches back in Tehran.

A perfect place to replenish your mood . The food is delicious plus the presentation was sooo nice . Had pistachio and almond latte with pistachio croissant, onion rings were soon yum and crispy. We visited Brisk Cafe for breakfast. However, there were a few issues that need improvement: 1. The interior was too warm, so we opted to sit outside. 2. Unfortunately, they were out of potatoes for the Classic Potato Plate, so we had to switch to the Persian Plate. 3. Service was slow water and extra bread came after multiple requests, and my dropped fork wasn t replaced. 4. We didn t receive a detailed bill when paying. We d like to return, but hope these concerns are addressed.

I m at a loss for words to describe how great this café is. The atmosphere, food, coffee, and cakes are exceptional. My daughter is a regular for their weekend specialty, kalleh pacheh, and she also loves their delicious pasta and burgers. coffees are awesome , chocolate cake, and saffron pistachio cake have unique flavours that I ve never found anywhere else. Thank you Brisk for the wonderful experience.

I ordered their most expensive sandwiches but, got disappointed. The zaban was nothing similar to a Persian sandwich and the special was too messy. They offered us free lemonade that was nice!

I recently tried the Kale Pache at Brist Cafe. Overall, it was quite good satisfying. However, I did notice that the dish I received wasn t quite like what s shown in their social media photos. The Kale Pache comes in full or half portions (the picture I ve posted is of the full portion), and you need to order bread separately, so keep that in mind when comparing prices with other places. It s a solid option, but manage your expectations based on their online images.

I ordered two cheese burgers , unbelievable crazy prices , $17 something for just a small burger . Tha burger doesn t have any special taste it was just a normal burger which can get from McDonalds . Omg can t believe how expensive and pricy . I don t recommend it at all

Great cafe and brunch place. I ve been here twice, once for brunch and got the Persian and English breakfasts. The portions were tasty and generous, we had to take some leftovers home. The special tea with the saffron rock candy was so good, too. The second visit I had the coffee and baklava which were really good. They have a small and a large baklava, and I really like the small one full of flavour and spice but not too sweet.

Ive tried the Turkish baklava and the Turkish coffee, which Id say is not Turkish at all. The coffee is too watery and the baklava was mainly pure sugar. The service is okay and the atmosphere is nice.

The service, location, atmosphere and general look of Brisk cafe was good. The quality of food and drinks was good but not so great, the pastries were not fresh. That s the only reason to go with 4 star.

Brisk Cafe is a total vibe! Cool art covers the walls, and their house-made bread is the real MVP - crusty outside, soft inside, and perfect for any sandwich. Speaking of sandwiches, we dove into the Kotlet (perfect, juicy breaded cutlet) and the tongue (amazingly savory and melt-in-your-mouth texture!). A delicious and artsy lunch spot for sure!

Unfortunately I have to write this review as I usually try to support small business and I always look for the positives to share. We bought two coffees yesterday ( Latte) and I have to say it was the worst coffee I had in my life . I am a coffee drinker and it is heartbreaking to pay for a coffee and get flavoured milk. ( this was a pure flavoured milk and not a coffee). To make things worse when we started sipping from the coffee , to our shock we got a bonus in the coffee. We had some rice granules that was in the cup . Ofcourse we threw the coffee away as it was so disgusting to keep going . The worse coffee ever .

I ve eaten at many places in my years this small cafe set a whole new standard of amazing. The veggie burger is literally world class. I d fly for four hours to bring someone special here . It s worth the effort! Not a lot of parking close by so plan to walk a ways in Vegetarian options: Amazing veggie options . Truly worth the effort!

What a terrible experience : - We politely made it clear that one of the dishes( Persian omelette) is not up to our standdards with regards to taste. - We left the food un-touched - We were denied any attention for the remainder of our time, or any follow up for any other replacement order, or any attention altogether.... - At the end, we had to argue with the staff for them to take that dish off our bill as they resisted to charge us for it.... Like holy cow! Is this experience reall ? I couldnt believe my eyes that we actually experienced something like this.

Had seen good reviews for this one on the plus side it was halal. Thought to try it out, The food was a bit bland ! There were no cutleries served along with the breakfast. Had to keep asking for everything like cutlery, water, tissues, salt and pepper. Would be great if it was already on the table sunce the server was caught with orders and preparation of beverages / snacks/ food. Other than that it was an okay experience overall not very impressed with the taste or service and felt a bit overpriced

Came here with about 10 people on a Saturday night. The 2-3 staff members were incredibly patient with us and did their absolute best. I had a pistachio latte (5/5), a red velvet cake (3/5, a little dry), and a saffron ice cream (4/5, very tasty). Others had the hot chocolate and lavender latte and really liked them too. Thank you so much for accommodating us and for your patience!

$16 is quite pricey for a waffle with two scoops of ice cream. Unfortunately, the waffle itself was not up to par. I suggest considering removing certain items from the menu if theyre not being served properly.

Terrible service! We came here because of good reviews. Turned out to be a huge mistake. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to take orders and then another 40 minutes for the food to come. No water and no napkins. We had to ask 3 times to finally get some milk for the coffee (we asked for cream but after having asking for 3 times, we decided just let it go) Iced latte is totally water down with a super short straw that I cannot use (per pic) We had to find napkins at other table and decided to go up to pay so we could get out of there as soon as possible. It s also not like they are busy - there were only 5 tables occupied. The food (sandwich and burger) is not bad but totally not worth the wait and bad service. Will not come back for sure.

Kale pache was extremely delicious, recommended to try.

The first time I tried Persian food. This is Ashresteh soup, I would never try any Persian item again. As you can see in the picture, I couldn t finish it. Extremely bad taste, the cafe is high rated, nice and clean, you can definitely try other items but this soup is waste of money. I wasted my money and time both, there is no parking nearby the store. There is no scope of comparison with Indian soups.

Brisk Cafe is one of the best cafes in Metro Vancouver that manage by very friendly people. The great and clean atmosphere with delicious dishes. I see a weird /unfair review from a person that compared the great Persian soup of this restaurant with Indian soup, because he didnt like the taste of the ingredients of Persian soup, he gave one star to this restaurant !!!! It happened a lot, I try different restaurants from different cultures and did not like taste of some of the foods because its different from what we use in Persian food but it doesnt mean that restaurant or food is not good and I should give them one star!!!! Try to be fair about the small business. I highly recommend Brisk Cafe to anyone who is looking for great food and a cozy cafe.

Came here and tried the ash reshteh, banana milk and Turkish coffee. The ash reshteh was the perfect comfort meal as it was so hearty and warm! The banana milk was the most perfect refreshing drink, and it gave me memories of how my grandma used to make. Excellent service as well as everyone working here was also so welcoming. We will definitely be back soon!

If I wanna be fair, 4 stars is my review (soft yes). The Kalepache was good and tasty. But the service was very slow, which wasnt pleasant, and it was difficult to find someone assisting you. I would also recommend them placing water on the table and selecting music based on the restaurant atmosphere (just suggestion). They also made a mistake in our bill, and it was the first time seeing a refund in cash without adding the tax percentage, which we already had paid. Usually, most restaurants fix such issues in the system to refund the wrong item+ associated tax to go back to your card automatically. If they improve these small things, I believe they can be a top rated 5-star restaurant.

Oh my god! This was the most delicious Kalepache ever. It was a bit expensive but totally worth it. We went to Bricks Cafe with a party of 12 people from Vancouver west area which took us 35 minutes to get there. We tried almost everything including Omelette, Helenas Bagel, and their exquisite cakes. Everything was super delicious and fresh, especially the cakes were from another world. One suggestion, perhaps, would be to think about keeping the food warm. The soup gets very cold very soon and having a hot surface table or a special candle heating device or something can make a huge difference. Thanks Brisk Cafe!

I stopped by here to pick up a latte before heading out on a road trip, I ordered the Macchiato Oat Latte. Wow!! This place makes great coffee!! My friend ordered an Americano, he said it was great coffee and he is a very particular coffee drinker. Thank you for making such great coffee!

One of a kind experience! Exceptional service and super yummy food! This place has it all. The staff are very polite and friendly! The owner is the most humble/kind person you may ever meet. The lady took my order, traditional Parisian, breakfast, and a cappuccino. She told me it might be a few minutes because there s a couple tables there, OK no problem. After half an hour, she still had not brought up my cappuccino, so I went in and said, it should not take this long to get a cappuccino. She says I ll be right out, 10 minutes later still no cappuccino I left. If they don t want to serve white people, they should just say that.

We enjoyed the visit and surprised that it was a Persian cafe. Tried the chocolate cake and Persian tea and loved it. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit!

I ve been there a bunch of times! The older gentleman who always makes my Americano in the morning was awesome! The place is so calm and friendly! It s perfect to do work in there or social group gathering in there for hours!

We got tea pot and baklava, baklavas were really bad, werent cooked properly. Even asked to change the dessert for something cheaper, they didnt respond in a good way, didnt do the refund too! Service wasnt good. The place had these little moths which were either trying to sit on our faces, or the treats!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Besides the fact that the owners are angels on earth and the sweetest people you will ever come across, the food, the quality, the care that goes into the preparation of the food and the absolute amazing prices. Everything here is phenomenal, just go here and thank me later. I can t believe that this place is right beside me in Coquitlam. Brisk cafe is THE BEST

The food is the type that you will be craving right after you eat it, do yourself a favor and GO get the imperial burger OR the beef tongue sandwich

Nice and cozy coffee. Edit: this comment was a year ago, I visit two days ago and I dont think Im visiting again. I wouldnt be exaggerating if I say I had the worst Turkish coffee in my life. The coffee cake was not as horrible, but I wouldnt try it again. I tried to convey my thoughts to the staff but it was met with denial. Overall, the service quality deteriorated significantly over a year. I hope they do something about it.

The best tea and the best sandwiches in the town! Must visit a place. Especially employees are so friendly and welcoming. It is also one of my favorite places to get the work done in Couqitlam.

I haven t had turkish cafe for long time because they didn t tast as well as I excpected since I tried it here I totally recommend that to you

It was my first try at this restaurant, i really liked it . Employees were polite and clean and organized. Quality of food service was outstanding. I strongly recommend this businesses for din in.

I have been going to this restaurant since day one the food was good, the portions were good, the prices were good and the ambiance was good. Overall a little nice restaurant. Since the ownership changed everything started to go downhill. The prices raised with no additional value. The amount of meat in their sandwiches decreased and overall the quality of the restaurant and food has gone down. Unfortunately this is the trend I have seen with many Iranian restaurants. Over time they decrease the quality to make more money and this kills the business. Too bad we are losing this one too.

The food is so delicious, and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend Addasi, a traditional Iranian food, for breakfast. For Iranians who live in Coquitlam and find it too far to go to West Vancouver for kalepache, I would suggest trying kalapch in Brisk Cafe.

I used to love this place and recommended it a lot but now it is absolutely disgusting. THEY USE PROCESSED CHEESE

Food is good. Service is awful. No water or napkin. 40 minutes wait. Low staff. No order on serving food. Coffee and drink came last. They brought each food when it got ready. We as a family ate alone as they were serving one food each five minutes.

I love coming to Brisk Cafe. If you are a tea drinker and love good food this is a place for you! One of my friends brought me to this cafe a year ago to try their Persian tea and baklava. Since I have been coming there quite often by myself to work or with many other of my friends. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, so willing to help and accommodate to needs of everyone who comes.

This is a little gem! The atmosphere is very unique and inviting. Great selection of Persian bites. Service is friendly. Ive been here twice now and was pleasantly surprised both times. Will certainly be going back. Worth the visit. Dietary restrictions: They were very cooperative and listened carefully to make sure the food met our restrictions. Parking: Limited parking in front of the business. You can find street parking on the street next to it but its paid parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.

This coffeeshops kookoo-sabzi and beef tongue sandwiches along with a pot of tea took us on a delightful journey of nostalgia with its incredibly satisfying taste. The baristas cheerful demeanor on a rainy Sunday night was the perfect complement to the cozy ambiance, instantly brightening the mood. A must-visit for both exceptional food and heartwarming service!
