Chinese place offering a wide selection of traditional dim sum in a relaxed, elegant dining room.
Delicious food but service was a letdown. We arrived in time for our reservation but no one was at the front to bring us in so we had to go into the restaurant itself to tell them that there are customers waiting at the entrance. We also got scolded by one of the servers for leaving the teacup lid open as were trying to let out a bit of steam so it wouldn’t be so hot to drink the tea straight away. Food wise, we came for the dim sum and everything tasted. My favourite was definitely the shrimp with eggplant. The seafood congee was also flavourful but it was a bit lacking in the seafood. Overall, it came to less than $100 for 4 people before tips for a weekday lunch. Be sure to make reservations as it was very busy for a regular weekday lunch time.
We booked the private room for my parents anniversary lunch. We had 3 tables with 8 people per table and I think that was the ideal configuration. We had a 10 course banquet menu that included peking duck and king crab. I worked with the manager, Carol for our event and she was extremely helpful. My sister is gluten free and Carol was able to accommodate by creating a 3 course menu for her. On the day of the event, we were able to arrive early to set up some decorations and discuss the flow of the event with the Alex, one of the servers for our event. Each dish was fresh and delicious. The king crab is really something- so sweet and tender. The service during the meal was impeccable. Carol, Alex and another server (sorry! I didn't get his name) were just amazing- so attentive and checked in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly. Everyone remarked at how great the food and service was. Thank you for making our event so memorable!
Had dim sum here today. Food was decent however service was slow. Had tour regular type of dim sum and portion size is average.
Had a reservation for 12:00pm and wasn't given a table till 12:30pm. Typical service of what you'd expect from a traditional dim sum restaurant. It's hard to flag someone down after you've ordered if you want drinks or hot sauce. Or anything really. Food was delicious. Everything came out hot except the Taro birds nest. That seemed like it wasn't as fresh. Service for food was quick. As soon as you order, food starts coming out quickly. Lots of free parking. Was harder to find the restaurant if you haven't been to the mall before. I would go again.
We ordered the sautéed beef with Chinese broccoli, fried rice with pork and shrimp, and cream corn soup with minced chicken. Our favorite was the deep-fried crab claw with shrimp paste—it was unbelievably good! The portions were incredibly generous and could last for days. The service was exceptional; our server went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience and made excellent dish recommendations. The place is very fancy but offers affordable prices.
Not bad; they have all my staples, but most things I found to be a bit blander compared to other dim sum restaurants (notably the Wu Gok). But keeping in mind that this particular location is really convenient for parking or transiting to. If I’m just looking for low-hassle dim sum and don’t live in Vancouver, I’d definitely come back. I will also add, though the other typical items were on the blander side for my liking, the Egg yolk lava steamed bun was sublime - they did that one dish so so well, I’d say better than the average restaurant I can go to for it.
We’ve been to Lee Garden several times now, and their food is always consistent. We always make a reservation as we’ve seen people line up outside to wait. Service is quick, and the food is flavorful. We’re happy with the portions, the food is a bit pricier than other places.
Some dishes were tasty, some were just okay. Foods were served quickly shortly after order. Restaurant has very convenient location with lots of parking at the mall. Nice decoration and very clean, we love the atmosphere. It's definitely a great place for family gathering. The restaurant is packed on the weekend, better to make a reservation especially when you come with a big group.
If you are craving for MSG this is the place to go. The floor manager ignored those who are not their frequent customers. It is an old dirty outdated restaurant
The food standard seems dropped. I noticed the crowd size has significantly reduced. Hope it can improve.
Im Caucasian and not a big fan of Chinese food, I have been to many Chinese food restaurants throughout Vancouver due to a previous relationship with lots of family obligations. My go-to dishes are spicey green beans and honey garlic ribs. This place is amazing. I tried so many dishes and they were all fantastic. It was a Christmas party and we were in a private room. This service was as amazing as the food. We had King Crab, duck , pork chops in plum sauce, which I refered to as cotton candies pork chops, I wouldnt have thought those two flavors would go together but it was amazing. Its in Henderson mall, my gps had me going in circles trying to find it , so making it simple for you its inside the mall. ENJOY!!
The parking space is easy to find, and the taste is decent! The service is also good!
Always consistent food and service quality. Had their spicy chili crab with vermicelli. Quite flavorful.
New review as follow, I will keep the old one here also. We return as my dad wanted to eat dim sum lunch here. We waited for 10mins only as the hostess indicated 15mins. Wait time was accurate vs what we had in the past few times. We returned again for lunch with reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. Much more pleasant experience. OLD REVIEW - We are not their regular customer so we didn t get a table for an hour; hostess indicated table will be ready in 20mins. Problem was that the restaurant was half empty. Feels like they don t want our business.
Absolutely fantastic overall
The price remains the same and the quality remains the same. It s pretty good. I give it five stars for this reason. However, the quantity of some snacks has been reduced. I hope you ll pay attention!
The food was good but staff were surly and cold. I did not like the atmosphere there because i did do not feel welcome to the restaurant.
I went there the day before yesterday. My friend made an appointment at 6 oclock. Because I lived far away, I arrived at 5.30 and sat at the door waiting. As a result, the lobby manager came over and asked me if I had made an appointment with someone? What time is it? What needed to be done? After I replied, he asked me to come inside. He poured me tea first and asked me to finish the work. I felt warm in my heart. After a while, my friend arrived. Not long after I sat down, another manager suddenly came over and asked, Is it a white car? It was said that there was a car in the parking lot that did not close the gas cap. After asking in detail, it turned out to be a friends car. I quickly went out and tightened it. I thought it was very careful. There are many cars. Thank you very much. Two people ordered three dishes, and finally got a pancake with red bean paste filling, which was very delicious! Thank you again Such service will definitely come again!
Very cheap and delicious
I came for dinner two times and this is the first time I have lunch here. The food was social a lot Chinese restaurant better than here but I came because my family choose it. Make sure you have reservations because usually have to wait. Only one thing I like it here is a lot of parking .
The quality of food is good and steadily .
Went here for tea with a friend. The food tasted pretty good. It was the cashier named Hailey who looked like a dead mother. We didn t owe her any money , so she just threw it over to the billing friend. There will never be a next time! Everyone, avoid lightning! ! ! ! !
Terrible customer service ever. I wouldn t recommend going in here at all. This restaurant is in lacks of proper server training for her staff. When we got seated at a table, the waitress Fanny impatiently greeted us by asking what we want for tea and we responded with the one we want but she started getting irritated for no reason. She showcased what a RBF was like from a waitress whose job should be serving and helping customers. She only responded to only one of our requests the whole time and didn t even bother to check with us at all. Great job Fanny I hope you and your family get treated the same way when walking into a Chinese restaurant. Food wise: very mediocre, 1000% of their food are premade at other Dim Sum factory. Nothing special and I personally didn t find the food was made with high quality and deliver good taste. Just Keep serving your old hk customers.
This is our go to Chinese restaurant for family dinners when we are in Coquitlam. They have a good set menu options and the dishes are tasty.
Pricy but still the best spot! Parking: Free parking garage Food : 5/5 |
Service is good; all staff listen to your request, and try to help. Quality of the food is satisfactory (except for the fried donut). The front desk could have been more friendly and welcoming.
They have improved a lot due to hiring new kitchen staffs
Went there for my anniversary and ordered a live lobster. I swear that they swapped it on us. I was so close to confront them about it but didn t want to ruin my anniversary so we will not go back to them. And if anyone think about order live seafood from them. Be aware how they can cheat on you.
Tried to go here for Dim Sum, turns out they don t serve it past 3pm. For a restaurant website that advertises an entire dim sum section you d expect there to be a disclaimer stating it s only until 3pm instead of arriving and rude waitress saying you can t order.
Went in December for my birthday dinner and had ordered one of the courses. When I had got home I realized that they never served one of the dishes. When calling to complain after, the employee hung up on us because they said they were busy twice. They were very rude and had bad customer service.
Everything is good, but the price is a bit high.
Great food. Bang for buck is ok.
Very formal and great atmosphere. Food was amazing as well Kid-friendliness: They can provide high chairs when needed Food : 5/5 |
Typical mid end Chinese restaurant
Traditional Chinese restaurant in the Henderson mall. Fresh crab and lobster on special for Chinese New year menus. Good service, good quality food. They also give you the dessert of the day which was red bean soup.
Go to place for dim sum in coquitlam. Usually quite busy, place starts getting quieter around 1-2pm. Would recommend har gow, siumai, spare pork ribs, and beef rice roll (the classics). Chicken feet here is good as well. Most dishes are $10 each and comes with 4 juicy pieces to share. Service is alright, they will speak to you in chinese. Ive been here twice and some orders take over 30+ minutes to come.
Haven t been for around 3 months, went yesterday. 2 dishes portions were obviously smaller than before. Stir-fried green beans, salt and pepper squid
The quality of 5 dim sums we ordered today were kind of deteriorating as compared to our last visit in July. Not sure if the dim sums are now being supplied through a central kitchen. It did ruin our appetite, and we decided not to try their King Crab set dinner for our upcoming gathering. Seems the Kingsway outlet is keeping the quality.
Dim sum was good and the stir fry prawns and scallop flat noodle dish were delicious. Just a bit cramped but overall enjoyed eating here.
Also besy
Not cheap - but outstanding food! Dim sum = yum Food
The receptionist at front desk was mismanaged with bad attitude. I booked a table the day before, but waited about half an hour. Some people arrived later, but got the service first. I give the front desk -3 stars. However, the food is pretty delicious, so I give it five stars. Totally, 2 stars.
One of the best dimsum in tri-cities but very pricey... ~$10/dimsum dish
Lots to different dim sum varieties, reminds me of Hong Kong restaurants for dim sum
Food was very tasty. Good value for the cost. Parking: Parking available on the roof. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs available.
Dimsum here is great! This place is a family favorite. Dimsum comes out quick and everything is always hot and tasty. Sometimes service can take time, but theyre always fully booked and most restaurants are short staffed right now. Wheelchair accessibility: Roof top parking has access to elevator
Will not honour reservations and overbooks massively making you wait even with a reservation
The food was great, everyone enjoyed it and the service was very pleasant.
Literally the worse place ever. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. The staffs are so impolite and rude, they all spoke chinese even though I wasn t chinese. They also gave us the thing we asked for after we asked them 3 times. It was like begging I also accidentally pressed no tip and they came back and said YOU NEED TO GIVE US THE TIP. They looked very mad. They also banned us one time saying that they don t have space for us. We said we would wait then, but they said no you can t wait here even though there was a waiting area on the corner.
Tasty food and good service considering it was busy time of a day with lunch hour.
Good food fresh dim sum. No charge for tea.
Great dim sum. Very tasty.
Went in for dimsum and we added on a dessert at the end. Made us wait half an hour and when we asked them to just cancel the dessert as we needed to leave, they took away the bill so we couldn t pay until the dessert finally came. They also blamed us for ordering the dessert too late . It was literally a pudding that we ve ordered dozens of times in the past and it always took less than 5 minutes to prepare. before. Absolutely ridiculous service.
foods really good but the hospitality and service ruins my appetite. booked a reservation however everyones left to wait atleast 30 mins. they overbook to try to get as many ppl in and out as possible resulting in long wait times even for those who have reserved. extremely hectic and a new waiting system is needed because people crowd and crowd around the front desk.
I think it s expensive and thin!
Okay dimsum, if you can get it, lol. Confirmed my Skip delivery order on the evening of April 14, then cancelled 45 minutes later.
Clean, delicious, friendly, easy parking. So glad to have Lee Garden as an option in the area! Food is so great, for dim sum and dinner!
Their food is delicious with great service. One of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Coquitlam!
Best place for Dim sum in Coquitlam.
Shrinkflation has come to this place. Prices have gone up while portions have gone down. Still tasty, but 2 people, 5 dim sum dishes was $50. Thats more expensive than Cactus Club - and this place isnt as good as that place.
My family members totally 6 peoples when sat down into a table already booked, the table was only set for 5 people s, wait until 25 minutes no servers contact us, they just walked beside our table and even did not look at us until we yielded to a girl server, who s attitude and response was so tough when we asked about the use of the VIP card for dinner. We were so disappointed and decided will never come again to this restaurant for dinner.
I called to make an appointment, but was asked to wait, and disappeared for five minutes without saying a word. You can just not answer the call if you are busy. What kind of reception would you do if you left the guest alone? Can we train our employees first?
Great local dim sum spot. Service is pretty good, food comes quickly. They don t skimp on ingredients and not too greasy, as far as dim sum goes.
We celebrated Mothers Day dinner at the restaurant with the pre set king crabs combos. The portion and taste was very good. The service is quick and friendly
Reasonable price, very yummy dishes
Food was okay. The server was rude to my mom who had a concern with the vegetarian dish and the waitress at the end had the audacity to ask for a bigger tip.
$30 pp easy. Decent portions and the taste is there. However, don t be expecting old school prices in this neighbourhood. Outside of the original Kirin that was here, expect it to be busy. Nothing to write home about but also nothing to complain.
Great dim sum
Good Consistent food Reservations highly recommended for dimsum on weekends.. Or go before or after peak hours. Service is good and tables are spacious enough.
It s a large traditional Chinese restaurant and it gets quite busy during lunch hours on weekends because of dimsum. We made a reservation but we sat down at our table 30 minutes later. We didn t order a lot but the food was pretty decent. My favourite was the egg plant and shrimp paste which was rich and savoury but not overpowering with flavour. I also liked the fried squid tentacles. They re known for their dimsum but I recommend that you try other ones and also come with a Chinese friend who knows the language and the food because it can be quite overwhelming for the first time customers.
Updated review for Lee Garden. I would highly recommend dim sums here. They are not overly marinated and the taste is on point. The only thing I can fault a little will be the thicker skin found on the salted egg custard bun. Service is good as well. Call in to reserve in advance.
I ordered dim sum for takeout, and the pork in the pork dumplings were completely raw. Pink and gamey. I had partially eaten one, chewing like an idiot for a good minute wondering why I was gnawing on something with the texture of rubber. Not a fun Friday night experience. The food that was actually cooked was fine. The sticky rice was rather dry and probably could have contained more of the filling, but was flavorful. The seams of the Black Truffle & Mushroom dumplings had opened up somewhat, so the presentation could have been better. But overall, they were chewy and tasty.
The staff is too busy to take orders. I asked for water and spoke to 3 people, but only 1 person brought me water. Because I noticed... Its difficult to order Maybe its because theyre busy, but their faces are so angry that I think theyll pretend to eat. Ling cod congee has too many bones and is difficult to eat. I just wish I had fish meat Still, the food is pretty good.
Dim sum for lunch and Chinese dinner for the evening Parking: Better to park on the third floor roof parking the second floor can be very difficult to find parking! Food : 5/5 |
Their sponge cake is excellent, the rest is okay. not a lot of options for a Dim Sum place. Service is really awful, long waiting time for food to be served. They have very few staff and everyone is too busy to care.
Decent place for dim sum. A bit expensive. Service was quick and food taxty
Enjoyed spicy tofu, rice roll with crispy fish, dumplings
Went for dim.sum.with a friend. Large dishes compared to what we usually see. Fast and efficient staff.
Most delicious food I have had in a while. Every dish.
For a small town this place is a big name and it didn t disappoint. Stick with the dim sum doe
Extremely expensive. They are more expensive than Neptune nearby and Neptune is higher quality. Staff are surly and unhelpful. A wrong item came and they had 0 interest in fixing it for us. Saying once it touches the table, they cant take it back. We tried to tell the peon that delivered it but she didnt care or listen and just left. So when we got someone that could do something about it, they said it has already been served. Not ever coming back. Deal with your issues/staff.
Easily one of the best dim sums Ive had since the closing down of ming yut lao in Richmond. Friendly staff and agreeable prices. Unfortunately dim sum has been getting more and more expensive but this place tries it best to stay economical
good food good service
Good food, smaller portions to what I am used to. It took just over 38min to get our food after ordering. Food was decent, a bit tastier then what I have had at different places but I have also had better but overall taste it as good. The portion size was smaller then what I am accustomed to, especially for the price. Service wasnt as good as I thought it would be considering they had 5 people working and only about 8 tables to serve. We had to flag servers down to order food, refill the tea, ask for water, ask for knife and fork. I am used to them looking out for at the very least, tea refill if we have the lid off the tea pot but it might be different in Vancouver. But waiting over 38min for our food after ordered was boggling to us. We are used to getting two dishes served to us and then a little wait for the others to trickle over, no more then 15min wait for food to come out. They also have the robot that comes out with the food, that thing needs to slow down or have better sensors and have noise that it is moving. Saw one person back into it cause they didnt know it was going by and then someone had to dodge it as it was moving because it was going over some odd bumps in the carpet but the machine didnt slow down when the guy go in front of it so it hit his heel. Ive seen better quality robot servers that would have picked all of that up and make noise/music so you know its moving.
This place is always busy in lunch time, their dumplings are the best in city. They are the reason why this mall can still survive.
Zhike is never at the counter at the door. I had to wait for 10 minutes to find Zhike to check in. I found a senior executive named Wallace (I dont know if he was the manager) and told him that your boss was there. He said that you need to make an appointment to see your boss. He said he could help me. Then I told him that Zhike was never at the counter. I wanted to see Zhike for something, but I could never wait. He said Zhike was very busy. Then I ll ask more people if I m busy. Then he said that I made a reservation for 1:00 and it was only 1:15 now. If you cant wait for 15 minutes, then you dont have to drink tea. Then I asked for an appointment with his boss, and he said that my boss wont meet you. That is to say, I am just an insignificant diner and I am not worthy of an appointment with your boss. Personally, I think there is something wrong with everything the senior executive said. It makes diners very uncomfortable.
For the price, the serving is very small.
Compared with the Richmond area, this restaurant definitely has a comfortable environment and is not noisy. The products are guaranteed and the price is mid-to-high. It can compete with Kirin Restaurant!
BEST OF WORST!!!
Delicious Chinese restaurant
I lived in Greater Vancouver over 30 yrs been to many Chinese restaurants but this was my worst experience ever. Went there on Thanksgiving weekend Sunday was quite busy for sure. Took 15 mins to take my order from the start. I ordered soup, fried rice, crab with crispy noodles, scallop, pea leaf. First time seeing that they gave out fried rice first however, this was fine cause kids were hungry. After fried rice took like 20 mins to give out the soup and crab. The soup was the saltiest hot and sour soup i ever had and crab didnt come with enough sauce to soak the noodles. I asked why does this not have enought sauce and they said I have to ask for it. Isnt this common sense? Litterally the noodle was still crispy even after 40 mins later. Also $40 just for the noodle add on. Took so long inbetween every order some of my food was already cold when I recieved my last order. Pea leaf didnt had any taste to it. I complained all this and no apologies but they offered me dessert which never came. This was my first revisit after new owner and I can say I would never ever go back here for sure.
Nice dim sum place !
Excellent seafood, good ambiance, friendly service, popular dimsum place with the locals on the weekend.
fantastic food here...
Love the dim sum at this place. Been many times. The staff are always awesome, food is great and the price is reasonable
Today s experience was beyond frustrating. We were seated promptly at 12:09 and placed our order, but by 12:30, not a single dish had arrived. When I approached server #1, she nonchalantly dismissed our concerns, stating that waiting 30 minutes was normal without bothering to check on our order. At 12:39, server #2 didn t help either. Instead of acknowledging the delay due to staff shortages, she argued that a 30-minute wait was acceptable ( ) and insisted we wait longer. To top it off, our siu mai was carelessly slammed onto our table just five minutes later. An entire hour passed, and our deep-fried buns remained nowhere in sight. Frustrated beyond belief, we decided to settle the bill without bothering to ask further. Shockingly, the cashier initially doubted our complaint about the missing item, only verifying it after going to the kitchen. This place not only lacks basic customer service but also disregards fundamental respect towards customers. The tea was a mess - using a regular water pitcher for tea leaves caused constant spillage. Their negligence reflects poorly on their commitment to quality service. Furthermore, the argumentative attitude exhibited by the staff during such extensive wait times is unacceptable. This declining standard of service and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. Needless to say, will never be returning back to this place again. So unprofessional, so inauthentic chinese restaurant!
Great dimsum. Used to be a premier spot for dimsum and dinners, easy to see why. Still fantastic! Highly rated
Delicious, perfect for brunch, and delicious meals too!
Alright
Sandpot lamb dish was the highlight. Restaurant was so busy
Service was good, prices are very high compared to other dim sum restaurants. Everything tasted good, some items were a bit greasier than usual.
More expensive prices than the average restaurant with a similar menu. Service and table settings is above average quality.
Gao Guilin s first choice for drinking tea The crowds are everywhere because the quality of dim sum is all above.
Their dimsum dishes taste fresh and have good taste. The service is what you would expect at dimsum restaurant but at least the food came out quite fast. I am not sure whether they got a new chef, but I feel like their ingredients are much fresher than before the start of the pandemic.
Delicious food and great service. Cant ask for more.
Food taste is not same as always.. I had gorgeous food here last time visited so I expected same quality visited today. But shu mai was little bit fishy and noodle with beef and vegetables was no tastes.. Only deep fried squid was good as last time.
Go to for dim sum in the Tricity area
Love their dim sum very authentic and tasty. But they overbook on family day Monday Ive to wait more than 30 mins to get in. Not very pleased
So sad they are closed! It was the best Chinese restaurant in the city and many customers go there for dim sum or dinner for friends and families gathering .
Closed and will be renamed Lei Garden Seafood Restaurant
Very rude staff. If you dont speak chinese they will rush you and be annoyed with you. That seems very rude. She will interrupt you while you are talking, swipe menu away, and speak in a very loud voice (like yelling). Food was good but some was wrong (because lady would not listen or help us understand). Will not be returning
The food was amazing but the servers ignored us the entire dinner and only dropped food off.
Simpler menu options after its recent reno. Staffs are super nice.
Why are there still reviews and pictures from the old Regal Restaurant? ?
The new store has opened, the dim sum is delicious, the dishes are diverse and taste good, it is worth recommending
I like the fish rice wrap its different n delicious because it has dried orange skin. It makes a lot of difference. Hope keep up your food standard. We will support. Overall food is great. Nowadays price is quite standard among all other restaurants. Dim Sum is not cheap at all. As long as it is delicious I am willing to pay. With the addition of tangerine peel, the overall flavor is much more fragrant. Compared with the usual mix of just a pile of flour mixed with some fish paste, it obviously shows that this teahouse is sincere in its production. I hope Lei Garden will work hard and make you the icon of Coquitlam. There is a market in Coquitlam.
Clean, tidy and comfortable.
good dims
Worse services
New Lee Garden. No plain congee even tho they have other flavoured congees. Nope cannot order it. Also they have steam rice rolls but cannot order soy sauce fried rice rolls. Disappointing
Good food at a reasonable price.
The worst reception ever. Busy restaurant so there will be line up but that s all good. Skipped wait list and made customers waited for more than an hour. We had to keep confirming with them so they realized they forgot to call our number.
The reservation system is ridiculous. Making reservation is useless because they dont really respect that and they still put you in the walk-in list. Either you go as soon as it opens or you go for the late lunch hour like 2pm. Otherwise the food is not bad especially the noodles and fried rice.
Stream fish quality is the best in Coquitlam and tri city
Good BBQ duck good service
First time here since it was rebranded. Had dinner and experienced one of the most chaotic and disorganized restaurant experience. Started off with 30 minute wait for my reservation. Witnessed shocking attitudes and aggression between management and staff in front of a large group of customers. Would have left and never came back if I wasnt hungry. Dishes were either cooked in advance or not cooked at a high temperature like a in wok. Portion size is small especially the meat.
Dinner is outstanding; but dimsum is so so...
If youre looking for a decent dim sum meal and dont mind a little bit of a language barrier with the staff, Lee Garden Seafood Restaurant is worth checking out. Just be aware that youll need to wave down a server to get their attention - and be prepared for some surprises with the menu.
Great food good portions
Tastes great! Great service!
A time-honored brand, authentic Hong Kong-style tea drinking, with large portions and good taste!
Had a Chinese Banquet here. The dishes they served varied in tastiness. Some were amazing and others were soso. Of note, their homemade Chinese desserts like green bean pastry, red bean glutinous sesame ball, and red bean soup were very good. The lobster tasted super fresh, sweet, and crisp. Their fish maw soup was also quite amazing. They do classic Cantonese Chinese fishes very well. However, other dishes like vegetables were quite average and bitter. The fish tasted stale.... I suspect the fish was dead for a while because we saw lots of dead fish in their fish tank. Service was typical Chinese restaurant service.
Fresh produce. Reasonable price
Bit pricey but best Dim Sum and service in the area
I havent tried the food yet, but I waited 1 hour with reservation. That explains the 3 stars
Like all others had, we stood and waited over 30min with a reservation for dim sum. No apologies at all. It had never happened when Grand Palace was here. Foods were good but the price went up crazy. I used to pay 60 to 70 for dim sum for three of us with Grand Palace, then now over 100+. We wont be coming back.
Always a great experience here whether it s for lunch dim sum or dinner here. Tonight we had the Peking duck and king crab set dinner. Everything was delicious! Sorry only took pictures of the duck and crab. Highly recommend it s out family s go to for birthdays and celebrations.
Finally visited for the first time with the recommendation from my colleague!I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered tonight . Portions are great and was cooked authentically well!
I ve already made a reservation, but I still have to wait in line for a long time. What s the point of making a reservation?
Its friendly, clean, and delicious
The Dim-sum at Lee Garden is delicious, and top notch would recommend this place!
Steamed beef tendon is sour! But the fried Chencun noodles are delicious!
Waiting: The lady at the door made us wait outside the restaurant after registering the number of people we were eating. We waited for 30 minutes and the waiting area was already empty. When I went in again, she seemed to remember. Service: very bad service. They threw their plates on the table, turned their heads and left without saying a word. Dont try to find waiters, they will pretend not to see. Even when they serve you the wrong dish. Food: Although the price is a bit high, the taste is good. One star is for the food. Very poor service, good food.Overall, I dont recommend this restaurant if you want a pleasant dining environment.
The service is terrible!!! I was here for dinner with my family. One of the noodle dishes smelled and tasted weird. After we let them know their reaction was very rude and still charged us for the dish. There was no apology! Go to the burnaby location instead.
They changed ownership recently. The food tastes good. I like their truffle fried rice. Standard prices. Cleanliness is not bad. They installed auto paper towel dispensers in the bathroom now. Overall, its a good place for dim sum. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs available Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is pretty big, can easily make room for wheelchairs.
Love this place for a quick bite or a full on dining experience. The shrimp spring roll is my favourite, best Ive ever tried!
The portion is too small, the taste is average, the price is slightly expensive, and there is no new decoration
One of the best in Coquitlam or Tricities if you are not going out to Richmond. We visited with a party of 4.
My friends and I love to chomp and chow down. We picked this place for dinner and I m glad we did. The portions are massive and the food delicious. I ordered Sui mai, spare ribs and shrimp spring roll. A great place to dine.
There are many varieties of dim sum to try.
Amazing Seafood and service. Highly recommend.
Dimsum and dinner is great at Lee Garden. Prices are a bit higher but the quality is worth it.
Impeccable service for our birthday dinner, and good food, especially the Peking Duck. Will be coming again and again!
Worst management in the area. Reservation is useless. Whoever knows them can get in first. Waiting time for 30 minutes with reservation is normal. Food is just average. Worse than when it was called . No coming back.
Too bad I can t give no star review. Poor management
Dim sum Cantonese place: overall great flavour--the balance of umame and sweet that brings out the flavour of the mostly seafood and pork items you will find at a dim sum place. Dishes were mostly served very fresh: the fried tofu skin roll, ha gow(shrimp dumpling) were fresh. The shrimp was very crunchy or al dente and sweet and cooked perfectly. Yes there were nothing but whole shrimps and not ground up ones in the ha gow Fried spicy squid tentacles were perfectly seasoned and fresh but a but a bit cold. Otherwise we had the fried fish paste rice roll which was good and full of stuffing. Overall very good. I prefer it to Neptune which is big on presentation but does not deliver on flavor nor quality ingredients.
Friends took us out, the food was amazing, will definitely go back.
The cashier is so arrogant with so bad service
Service so bad, only served the customer who spent more money. We waiting for 40 minutes for nothing. The others who came late than us but got the food faster. No explanation. Never come back.
Maybe the Burnaby branch is more worth the price .Flavor is good, but quality & freshness are subpar given the price. The food is on the greasy side compared to Neptune.
We ordered a tofu scallop plate, the tofu was sour. Other plate were small quantity, and tasteless.
Best dim sum spot in the Tri-Cities. Good service. Food is consistently good.
Good variety of dim sum. Friendly service. Table settings not too crowded. Recommend reservation on weekends. Parking: Covered parking usually full during meal hours. Lots of rooftop parking spots and street paid packing lot.
For dim sum, my favorites are Pan fried pork and chives & pan fried eggplant with shrimp. Ordered 6 dim sum dishes including dissert, ended up packing some left over. Food
Their pikin duck is good. The other foods are so so.
Have a wonderful dinner there with my parents. Friendly staff and willing to go extra mile to help customers. Family friendly restaurant for dinner
Dimsum is good
Kid-friendliness: The waiters attitude was very good.
