We started with a souvlaki skewer and a dream! OPA! is a Greek word used to express happiness, and evokes the joy and celebration of feasting with family and friends. Since we opened our first location over 20 years ago, everything we’ve done has been driven by the philosophy of OPA! The OPA! experience combines fresh Mediterranean cuisine with the friendly customer service we've become known for. We’re a quick-service Greek restaurant, but that just refers to the time it takes to serve our lovingly-made dishes. From the first bite, you’ll want to slow down and enjoy the moment with friends and family. We don’t just want you to love your meal; we want to have made a positive difference in your day.
Well I was excited for my pita and salad. Got home....first bite.....pulled a long dark hair out of my mouth. This is disgusting.
Decent flavour (chicken and beef skewers) but way too many onions in the salad! If this is the normal amount at Opa, I won’t be ordering again.
I recently ordered the OPA vegetarian wrap and fries combo. Literally nothing in it besides 1 teaspoon of cheese and half potato. Fries were just normal. A lot of ice in drinks. Not coming back.
Fast food Greek food, taste good but it's not the same as going to a actual Greek restaurant. Great service by the people that work there.
Their Olympus Bowl $11.55 is a joke. Please do not order unless you want five small pieces of lamb with a mini portions of chopped tomato, jalapeño and red onion on overcooked rice thats not flavored either. And there was a small sauce to eat these bland food together. Obviously the sauce is not enough of course…
“I recently went to the Opa restaurant in Coquitlam Centre for a meal and noticed several insects in the food. I wonder how many I might have eaten without realizing. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they responded very poorly and said if I was unhappy, they would just refund my money. I definitely do not recommend this store to anyone.”
I was expecting to be much better...I ordered mega platter lamb & shrimp. The lamb was tasty but shrimp had no taste, there were too much rice and not delicious at all !!! Please better your quality.
My husband and I went to the mall today. I was craving for some Greek food so I decided to give this a try, I wish I didn't. Rice was abit hard and cold, potato was hard uncooked, I couldn't even poke it with a fork. I ordered the beef platter, the cashier asked if I wanted tzatziki for .35 cents, she never mentioned that 1 we're included with my meal, so of course I had an extra one. I don't recommend this place. Sorry ***emailed corporate and no reply***
Shoutout to the girl that gave me 6 olives on my greek salad today (usually 2 or 3), youre awesome and I will be back :)
It has great customer service and also Roz remembers me and my order and was super friendly and helpful (if manger see this give raise) what makes me want to come and eat here more often also the food and amount of food is amazing I recommend
I really love the food but its kind of bad for cross contamination if you are vegetarian. I always get falafel pita but i see them touching the meat to the falafel all the time. I know some people might not mind this but i get grossed out eating something thats touched a dead animal. I think the staff are a little rushed and unorganized which makes me a bit uneasy. Wish they would be better about the cross contamination Vegetarian options: Falafel is good but cross contamination makes me uneasy
Got the opa plate. It was a very measly amount of rice which surprised me, and it had a tiny chicken skewer maybe just 70% filled. Never again, its not worth the $15. Only positive to this place is that the credit card machine doesnt beg you for a tip before you get your food.
Just ordered an Olympus Chicken bowl to go. I got home and noticed there were only 3.5 chunks of chicken. Thats maybe a half skewer, if Im being generous - I generally like this location, but after a few questionable orders, I now must wonder about the quality to price ratio, especially when there are various other options in the food court. Consider how hungry you are when ordering from here.
We love Opa this location us awesome
Lamb was tough as an old pair of work boots left out in the rain. Salad was VG. Over priced.
I got food poisoning from the calamari!
Just had this for lunch today. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Best calamari I ve ever had.
I visited this place to quickly grab lunch. I paid an additional 0.35 cents for extra Tzatziki sauce. Interestingly, when the Caucasian man behind me requested extra Tzatziki in his pita, the person assisting us had no problem accommodating his request. However, when I received my order, I noticed that I had only been given one container. Politely, I asked if I could have a second container. To my surprise, the staff member raised her voice and exclaimed, Maam, we charge for extra sauce! Its worth noting that I had already paid for the extra sauce, and it seemed unfair that she had no issue giving it to the Caucasian man without him paying for it. As someone of East Indian descent, I find it disheartening to encounter such instances of racism within our own community. I believe its important for the establishment to educate their employees on providing fair and equal treatment to all customers.
The people that work here are always very rude and unhappy.. specially the cook lady that makes the wraps. At first i gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking you never know what people are going through maybe they re just having a bad day, but when it s every time and seems like they hate their jobs, it s makes people not wanna go there!
Today I paid $29. My calamaris dish was half empty.I asked for a combo for my son but I paid not for a combo.
The food is great, they calamari, tzatziki sauce, Pita bread is so good. The staff are efficient, pleasant and accomodating.Customer service is always great. I recommend this place.
This is my go to OPA location. Wonderful staff throughout the years, very impressive quality of freshness and ingredients.

I had ordered a pita with gyros, but unfortunately I am very disappointed. If you know a real gyros pita, you know that this one is not a real one. My meat didnt come from the rotisserie as is usually the case. The meat was grilled with oil. The bread was way too thick. Green lettuce was used. Usually, cabbage salad is used. There were no olives. If youve ever been to Greece, you know that this is not a real gyros pita.
Its been months and they still have a problem with their vegetables and potatoes. Vegetables are constantly either not ripe enough, or the lettuce is old and brown. Potatoes are often not fully cooked. All of these issues can pose health risks to customers. Never ordering a salad from this specific chain again. Its literally not hard to fully cook potatoes!!
Absolutely disgusting to eat. Haven t eaten here in a while and never again. Food quality is at the lowest level. Looks like this food was made days if not weeks in advance and been reheated several times. You can t except much from a food court but this is a new level low. Thanks Opa.
My experience with the service was extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The food tasted incredibly unpleasant, almost like it had been left out for a very long time. Unfortunately, even a hungry stray wouldnt eat it. When I returned the food, the employees response lacked any apology and was accompanied by an arrogant grin. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience.
This Opa is the best location I have ever visited to. They serve Amazing food with good quality and quantity. Their food always looks so Fresh and Yummy. The staff members are very polite and professional. I am eating here from past 5 years and never been disappointed by any factor. I highly recommend this place. Love it! Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options
This is Amazing. The food is delicious and fresh. very impressing customer service, I highly recommend this place. Vegetarian options: suitable for vegetarians as well.
What atmosphere can you expect from a vendor in a food court? I used to frequent this OPA until my last experience. I typically order a lamb souvlaki wrap with two skewers. The first lamb skewer was normal but the girl got the second skewer from somewhere else and it didnt resemble lamb and sure didnt taste like lamb. It was so bad I threw it away and wrote a letter to the owner that my experience was disgusting. I never heard back from the owner(s) and I will NEVER order from OPA in Coquitlam Center ever again. Reg Boaler (Yuck!) Parking: BFD they have a parking lot because they are in a shopping mall.
AVOID, New staff clearly arent trained with any sort of food safe, clarified to the same worker (Harman) twice about a sea food allergy when ordering a chicken meal. Harman used same spot on the grill, same cooking instruments as handling shrimp. Had to get it remade and the manager was not sympathetic. Also asked for no tzatziki and jalapenos and Harman had to remake it and almost put both on again where I had to interrupt to stop her. Ridiculous and unsafe
Greek salad and pita wraps are worth to eat. I tried OPA platter as well which was properly loaded with stuff. Staff provides surprassed guests experience. Overall amazing service.
Very much delicioso mmm mmm mm
This place is my go to. Love the food. Always nice and hot and fresh
I just love Greek food so much and every time I go to mall I had to have Opa. Its so Flavorful and healthy option.
I ve been to many Opa places and they were all great, except this place is the far worst place I have ever been to. Ordered opa Platter and the rice was soo soggy and clustered, vegetables weren t that fresh and kinda soggy too and I only had 3 breads. Shouldn t you get four breads because you cut the circle bread into four pieces? Where is the other piece of bread??? Too bad I didn t take a picture before I ate. I didn t even finish the food because they were gross. I also felt that the employees were kind of racist or they just have a bad customer service but I asked for to go, and they didn t even give me a bag or napkin so I asked for a napkin and the girl employee was looking at me like, here it is, please leave kind of attitude and the cashier who was taking orders couldn t receive a proper order. I actually wanted a ceasar salad, but she didn t even ask. But guess what, she asked if I wanted double skewers for three dollars, and kept asking like I didn t understand her. I said I just want single skewers with lamb like three times, she was like you want chicken? And she was like, no, no I mean you can order chicken and lamb. No! I want single lamb skewer!!! Why do you have to be so annoying when I m trying to be nice to you. And that s how you guys treat your customers who s trying to be nice? Trying to annoy customers for that extra 3 dollars huh. Well, you guys absoloutely convinced me not to come back so save your money and time and don t come here. I m never going back.
I only get a chicken pita wrap whenever I come here and it always tastes good. On one occasion they messed up my order but staff was really good with handling the situation and I eventually got what I asked for will most likely be returning
Great food, good portions.
Great chicken Olympus bowls of french fry..
Was given uncooked potatoes twice. This is very dangerous and terribly unprofessional, customers can get food poisoning from this. Food was good otherwise, but I hope they learn how to cook properly.
I love Greek food
Used to be great food. The portions continue to shrink, however the price goes up.
I ordered a meal and the fries were wayyyyy over oily. They we re soggy and disgusting so I asked for a different batch and the worker said no that s what you get .
Very rich.
Spent $20 on salad and calamari and a souvlaki skewer. My calamari was disgusting. It was freezer burnt and dry - like eating wax paper. What a waste.
Honestly get it together. Only one employee on during lunch rush and she made me stand there and wait for 5 minutes I ended up just walking away. Guess u hate getting customers.
Perzon taking orders at 3 pm Saturday was some of the worst service by far. Believe the name was suskpreet... couldnt even make eye contact with me and wouldnt listen when I spoke...
Great restaurant dont goto the 1 owned in pitt meadows though that 1 is not sanitary at all
Its actually not bad. Its not gourmet or anything, but for $10 fast food its definitely much better than McDonalds.
Made to order, very fresh.
My favorite is the fry bowl. Always good. Calamari with Greek salad really good. Didnt care for the platter but customer service is always great. I recommend this place
Good food and service
My favorite choice in the food court. The staffs are friendly.
Meat is tasty but veggies are consistently not ripe, very green.
Great management and customer service must go there and eat fresh food because owner is always there to check there staff and food quality if any one have complain he is always resolve he take care of customer like a family
Love the chicken platter. Awesome.
My favourite OPA! location has to be the one in Coquitlam Centre! The hard-working staff are always pleasant, efficient, and accommodating. The food is always top quality and delicious. 10/10 would recommend!
Good food
Honestly, the best location with an amazing service. Food is always fresh, greatly seasoned and the girls that work there are always so nice. I have changed my mind about the food I have picked few times while they were in the middle of making it and they have always been so open to changing it without making a fuss about it. My go to OPA! Place.
Yum!
It is ok
It is a good to taste Greek cuisine with reasonable price
Delicious food
Not bad. Good complete set of spicy meal.
Price and service is alright.
Surprisingly good greek food for cheap and quick. Is there better Greek out there? Sure. But will it be at fast-food speed and prices? Nope. Opa fills that gap nicely.
Greek good
Always hit this place when we go the food fair at the Coquitlam Center!
If you like Greek food, this is the must! I can especially recommend dishes including lamb. I wonder how to make it so delicious. Staves are kind in general. One of them, a man with glasses is greatly kind.
Mmmmmmm
This was a great experience for me as I have never been before. The service is great, courteous and the prices fit for the portion you receive. When I go back to the mainland I will go again.
Very decent food here. The tzatziki is so good and the calamari. Prices are decent too, highly recommend it.
Portions are getting smaller for calamari I just recieved one almost half than I usually do .I wouldnt mind an increase in price if the portions stayed the same and consistent.
Nice place to eat ..
I have eaten here many times. Yesterday I had the calamari but I wasnt very pleased. It was undercooked and had an odd flavor. I didnt exchange it because I was on my break. Ive had this experience with the lamb as well. Out of all the food places in the mall, it seems to be the safest bet.
Like the food here
Wonderful greek food
Truly abhorrent calamari that is 60% flour. Dont visit this place.
The people working here were super fast and efficient, food tasted good too.
For fast food greek, not bad.
Very fast and convenient, could include more meat.
The staff is so friendly and quick. They are very professional.
Amazing amazing food. The lamb wrap is my absolute favourite. The fries are also delicious and fresh. The tzatziki sauce is so savoury and goes well with all their food. You can taste the great quality of this food. It may be a little more expensive than other fast food chains, but definitely for good reason.
I love the food here, the tzatziki sauce, pita bread, calamari and their salad, i love all of it olives with no pits please. And the ladies work fast, even if they have a long line up they can handle it well and still manage to smile. Keep it up.
What you expect from Opa.
Lineup was long and first thing I noticed was the two girls worked together as a team to get everyone served as fast as possible. Great job by Abigale! Keep it up and Ill keep coming back for more.
My favorite food in the food court.
