Welcome to Sushi Mori Coquitlam, where tradition meets innovation in a delightful fusion of flavors and ambiance. Nestled in the heart of Coquitlam, BC, our restaurant is dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience that combines the best of Japanese culinary traditions with contemporary twists.
Beautiful flowering trees (artificial) with a layout that minimizes ambient noise so you can easily have a conversation without having to talk over neighbouring tables. I ordered the Lady Mango roll, and the roll was under a salad with mango pieces.
I’ve taken many guests to dine here and many are astounded by the cherry blossom trees inside the restaurant. The menu is very comprehensive and food quality and portions is pleasing for the price. Expect $20 to $30 per person but I think you will leave happy.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were very friendly. The food is good but we found it was a bit pricier than other places. While the staff were very kind, we didn’t get a tea refill for quite some time. Overall, the sushi was delicious and fresh, we’d come back again.
Great food and a very cozy atmosphere. The service was good, the only thing we didn't enjoy was the size of the menu. Some people might like it, but for us the menu was way too big, kinda confusing sometimes.
We had a lovely dinner at Sushi Mori. The rolls are quite big and everyone left feeling full. The atmosphere is lovely and would be nice for a romantic dinner, but three kids will take the romance out of any restaurant experience. Staff were friendly and prompt. Huge menu.
Food was so good. Me and my friend both had Bento box and gosh, the presentation! It was so beautifully presented also taste was really good too.
Our first time here and it was a good one. Loved the food and the service was great too. A tad late though for our food to come but they were very busy on a Saturday night. Liked the ambiance in the resto, thanks to all the Cherry Blossoms. We will surely be back :)
This sushi restaurant offers a rich taste and beautiful harmony based on fresh ingredients and meticulous techniques. The delightful flavors and delicate cooking methods were very satisfying, and the luxurious atmosphere and friendly service created a perfect dining experience. Especially manager Jake was very kind. Their ordering devices were also very intuitive and simple. Overall, this place will be remembered as one of my favorite sushi restaurants nowadays.
I am not sure if it was because the restaurant was closing (it was 8pm and closing at 9pm) but the food was not prepared with care. I ordered the dragon, crunch and spicy bomb roll. They had a thick layer of rice around each roll and the fillings were poorly constructed. My rolls kept falling apart. They were also very similar tasting with some subtle differences. The aburi sashimi and spicy sashimi were good. I used to come here all the time, and I brought my sister for the first time for her birthday and was disappointed.
Love this place, nicely decorated and great food. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food is perfectly prepared and super yum! Try this place if you are around.
The food was extrodinary, I have never had a better tuna roll, miso soup, or sockeye salmon nigiri at any other restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, as there are sakura trees everywhere, making the restaurant feel surreal. The service was great, not the best service, but it was satisfactory. I would highly recommend eating here, as it is very high quality and relaxing. 14/15 stars. Parking: Parking is nice, and you can often find a parking spot without problems. Kid-friendliness: It is indeed kid friendly, as I myself am a child and I frequently visit this restaurant after school to have lunch. Wheelchair accessibility: Its quite wheelchair accesible, as the building inside doesnt have any stairs or areas where you must climb.
Sushi Mori is my favorite place to eat in or take out. The service is one of the best. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I would highly reccomend Sushi Mori. Thank you for making our experience one of a kind each time we come in. Dietary restrictions: They offer soybean paper
I love this sushi restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing for dates the food is great too. Definitely check it out!
Awful experience. We ordered two rolls and a spicy tuna sashimi. Although our rolls were great they came 10 - 15 minutes apart (it was not busy) when we finally got the sashimi it was frozen. Not just very cold but frozen to the point of an audible crunch when biting. We let our server know and she took the dish away, then the manager came out and proceeded to tell us that it is supposed to be that way because if they defrost it too much it will be mushy. 1. Your food should NEVER be served frozen 2. Do not argue with a customer and try to force them to just accept the dish To have this man leave us alone I had to say I will not eat that so he finally walked away. No offer to bring us something else or anything. Then we proceeded to wait another 15 minutes until I had to flag someone down to bring us our bill. They did remove the sashimi from our bill so I appreciated that however I can t believe the poor level of customer service.
Best sushi in Coquitlam
They constantly forget orders when you order take-out. Not the first time, but showed up and said they didnt have the order. Essentially they skipped our order and then told us another 30 minutes to make it when we ordered it hours ahead. I would not recommend take-out from them.
Sushi Mori is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants Ive been to! The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and every dish is beautifully presented. The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Whether youre a sushi lover or trying it for the first time, Sushi Mori offers an amazing selection that caters to everyone. I highly recommend this place for an authentic and delicious sushi experience!
Super cute inside and menu is pretty big. Service is always good and the food is always fresh. I highly recommend going and trying their sashimi, nigiri and bliss roll.
Had a great time with my family! Service and food were amazing.
They have an amazing service and delicious food!
I love sushi here. They have a good variety and all fresh. Decor is just fantastic and cozy. They have plates to share which are more than enough for 2 ppl.
Worst cutting skill ever. Never thought that a sashimi with poor knife skills can make the whole experience so different. Or I just never met someplace have this low-level knife skill. Enjoy your sashimi brick. Besides that , the portion ratio, the rice.... dont even want to start talking about it. TERRIBLE
Good food and service and beautiful interior design.
Kim the manager was sooo friendly and nice, he came to help us to choose a sushi.
the place (6 30 to 8) is very quiet, nice atmosphere with background music. staff are friendly. food is so good, i went with a big group and favorites were the mango salad and lady mango rolll.
Atmosphere was good, stuff was friendly I love sushi. But the salmon and seafood in this restaurant wasn t fresh and it was fishy I told the stuff about it, they changed it directly it was nice of them, unfortunately it was the same. Sorry to say I will never try it again.
Food wasn t that great. The taste didn t really seem like very pleasant i eat a lot of sushi. You can feel the difference in the quality.
Come in 12mins before a 5pm special ended and literally didnt get served till 5:01pm. The place was dead quiet and normally theyre immediately on it but it was a huge slap to the face and blatantly obvious they were avoiding serving with so few tables. It just felt weird. It took 40mins to get some avocado rolls for christ sake! Just a huge let down for our regular sushi joint. And my son cut his hand on a sharp staple on their plexi glass panel.
Went here at around 830pm on a weekend. We got 3 rolls to share as a snack. The sushi rolls were expensive (average $20/roll) and taste is pretty average. Not bad, but not that great. We ordered 2 aburi rolls, which had jalapeno slices on them (normal), but the seeds were not removed, making them very spicy. The dynamite roll had lettuce in it which felt very much like a filler. Service felt slow even though it wasnt busy at that time. If youre indecisive, the menu will overwhelm you, but on the flip side, theyll probably have something for everyone.
Food is on the more expensive size, portion sizes could have been better for the price. We got 2 different combos, but they did not come with miso soup. Servers and atmosphere was great though.
Ive both dined in and had take out. They have an authentic Japanese feeling environment with a pleasant variety of flavours and textures including vegetarian options. Not just the usual. The service is polite and non-intimidating as they seem to treat everyone with equal kindness and patience. If you ask for extra of something they take it seriously and you arent left wondering if they forgot. Always a good choice. Vegetarian options: There are regular rolls and specialty larger rolls. Different than most places.
I had really more expectation from their name to get more quality food. But I think they prepare foods in hurry.
Service was friendly and accommodating. They gave us lots of tea. Was a great experience
Very friendly and responsive to customers
Our go-to diner with sublime interior for authentic Japanese food with consistently excellent service.
The atmosphere was great and the food was yummy.
Friendly staff, calm atmosphere and good tasting food. Would recommend to anybody.
This is a delightful sushi place with some inventive menu items and fusion pieces. The food and service are consistently good. And the large booth accommodate larger groups and some nice privacy. A family favourite!
One of the best local sushi place you can go. Pretty authentic japanese vibe, good sushi. Food
Best sushi that I tried, great experience Kid-friendliness: Good service Food : 4/5 |
Very unique atmosphere, booths Provide a nice private area. Good good!
many choices of food
Great food
Really nice sushi
The anbience is excellent for anything as of goijg out with friends. Family, or even to impress a first date. Its a higher end restaurant to relatively more expensive.
Food good, service good, atmosphere good. Highly recommend.
I ve been comming here for years and it is hands down my favourite place to get some sushi.
My go to sushi place in the area! Always yummy!
Good food, very scrumptious
Came here after a hike and wow oh wow was it delish definitely filled up our appetites. Good bang for our buck
Ambience is perfect for a date. Food looks promising and can order off a tablet np.
Consistent and tasty food in a traditional atmosphere.
$30 gets you a bowl of Ramen in downtown. For $30+tax you get a full set of this bento box, no rice, cold noodle appetizer, and miso soup. This place is underrated!!! We always go here for lunch after a hike at coquitlam crunch Food
Sushi was ok and had a nice service
Wanted to say sorry to this restaurant as I was confused with another one at Surrey that I actually went to.
Yum!
Great service
Do not come to 9pm if you are more than 9 in your party .last call 9:15? Please say that on your website!!! Food
Great atmosphere, the trees are beautiful the lo-fi music hits just right and the computer ordering takes the hum n ha out of what you want.
Lovely people Kid-friendliness: Lots of room Food : 5/5 |
very low customer service by making the customer wait for so long time without proper explanation or anything for a take-out order.
Beautiful place, lovely food and atmosphere, the most beautiful sushi restaurant
very efficient and amazing !!
I like it
What a pretty restaurant. The foods a little pricey but you get great service and really nice little tatami rooms or booths that gives a measure of privacy. This is my third time here, bringing new friends and family each time. Will continue to come back when I can.
Great Sushi, great service. Will recommend highly
Great place to enjoy a fresh sushi with fiends. The food is fresh and tasty, the service is good and the fake cherry trees make a nice atmosphere. Would go back again.
I ve been here many times and it is a pretty good restaurant
Big big selection of sushi, sashimi, rolls and much more. We shared so its great for big groups of people
I couldnt have asked more: the food, the staff and the full menu made it all a great experience. Will be back for sure!
Love the new iPads, staff has always been great been going here for years
awesome food, very good table service, friendly environment Kid-friendliness: kids have a sweet tooth, and they like the tempura Food : 5/5 |
I love Sushi Mori coquitlam location. Wonderful restaurant, food is really good. Especially they have high-tech ordering system.
Update: You can t deny that the inside of this location is beautiful. However, the food not so much. For the price and lack of service, you can find much better sushi a few blocks in any direction. We ordered their shrimp dumpling appetizer (called Creamy Shrimp on their menu) and it came with the shrimp cold and completely raw inside. They did remake it for us, but they didn t comp it to make up for their error. Which I found odd being that it was a pretty bad mistake. The sushi pieces were small and lacked ingredients and their sashimi was quite thin in comparison. Overall, disappointing and will not return.
First time visiting Sushi Mori, so glad I came here. Fell in love with the atmosphere immediately and the food really blew me away. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. This would be high up in my go to places for some excellent sushi.
Food was horrible when I got home so called and asked what they could do , told me to drive back and they could give me a refund. Get here, they cannot give the refund. Wasted time and gas for nothing.
Amazing cherry blossom trees with perfectly matched background music Foods are like art and yum. I highly recommend volcano rolls. Also so kind staff especially Manager Jake was so kind and welcoming.
Ordered pickup for two people, around 55$ in total. Quality was poor and we did not even finish all the food. It was not enjoyable and for 55$ and a half hour wait it was a waste. I ve eaten here before and it s been decent but this just had no redeeming qualities other than the miso soup.
great food!!! excellent service!!
Really good food recommend getting take out
Quite disappointing with this restaurant with a good location and large rooms inside. Food are so so , portions average . It would have to do better with competitions around.
Probably the worst sushi I had in my life. Ordered a few nigiris and a rolls. The nigiri rice was warm, and the salmon on top of it was warm as well. Slightly warmer than room temperature. I dont know how you can mess up a simple recipe like a salmon nigiri. Would never go here again. If you hate someone, bring them here.
Dynamite roll with lettuce was werid and didnt stay together well.
The fresh and large sushi was impressive.
Excellent food and service! The server Anna is very cheerful, patient, and polite. She makes the dining atmosphere great. She remembers me which makes me feel a warm welcome. Anna is very quick with service and always making sure needs and wants are met. Many thumbs up to her! Anna s wonderful service is one of the reasons I revisit the restaurant in addition to the delicious food.
Weve always loved this place, ever been there so many times and the service has always been good. This last time we went they were using tablets at the tables to place your order and I found it made the service so much slower. Trying to get a refill for my tea was painful. Maybe they were just having an off day and it was pretty busy but it seems like theyre trying to replace servers with technology and its making things worse.
good food
Good service, good food
Have been coming here for a while and had an especially great time today! Jake s service was on point! Thanks for taking care of us today Parking: Lots of space! Easy access off the highway
My favourite sushi spot. Super nice inside and the food is always great! Nonetheless, jake is the real reason I keep coming back!!
The ambience is great food and service are blast! Parking: Spacious free parking Food : 5/5 |
Great atmosphere and a well priced lunch bento box.
Well priced, good quality and atmosphere
This is our go to place in Coquitlam! It s so cute inside, and the service is amazing.
Good portion with good price
This place is amazing! I come here all the time with my friends and family. Super tasty food and polite staff. Definitely recommend if in the area
This place serves great food and is in a great location! I love the cherry blossoms inside and you feel like you re in another world when you enter. I have eaten here many times and will continue to come back, thanks Sushi Mori!
Today I ordered takeout today and didnt leave a tip. But it s my right, why should I leave a tip if I m eating takeaway?! As a result, I waited for my order instead of 15 minutes - 40 minutes! Is a mockery! I asked to call the manager, but they refused, the waiter did not pay attention to me! This is terrible service!
I have been going to Sushi Mori at Port Moody for over 15 years. Their food is always consistent and delicious! Parking: Plenty of parking at the parking lot. Kid-friendliness: They have kid s meal on the menu.
Great :)
Friendliest service and amazing food! Win win!
Spicy tuna don tastes good with great presentation.
amazing
My first experience ever with lettuce in sushi rolls. Both rolls I purchased - dynamite and salmon tempura were half filled with lettuce. I was surprised and disappointed.
Wow I enjoyed my experience. The food tasted delicious I highly recommend you go here. The atmosphere was amazing. Food : 5/5 |
We went to Sushi Mori for a late lunch on a Tuesday and the place wasnt so busy. We had great service and good food especially for my 2 hangry babies. We ordered the bento box chicken, and a couple of sushi rolls (I cant remember which ones) but all tasted good (see our last photo with everything devoured and 2 happy babies) The food took longer than expected especially with the amount of customers that were eating at the time but it might also be because were already hangry at the time lol. All in all, great restaurant and awesome atmosphere with the trees and the seating, it feels like youre in Japan. Parking: Plenty of parking slots available Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and booster seat available Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible ramp going to the restaurant available and theres a couple of tables available for wheelchairs
Food is sooooo authentic and delicious all the stuff were excellent!! I highly recommended this place!! Thank you
It s sushi! Nothing out of the ordinary, but then again I didn t order anything out of the ordinary. Got one spicy tuna & salmon roll as well as the smoked salmon roll. Portions are good in my opinion, price is not bad. It s a HUGE menu btw! Service is great, really friendly, and the ambience is very nice as well.
I recently ate there . Service and staffs is very friendly, quick. Price is reasonable. But quality of the food not that great. I order Spicy scallop roll, scallop so fishy, not fresh. I feel like frozen taste smell. Same thing with shirm, grilled scalop salad , so fishy , even they grilled Mango sunomono salad so disappointed. The vermicelli so hard, chewy. Just crunch roll, spicy salmon sashimi is ok. Overrall, hope ingredients getting better. Vibe, asmostphere is great.
Went in today for late lunch, most of the food was pretty good but the Yakisoba was unbelievable salty due to very little noodles and veggies. We could only eat the tofu on the top and couldn t eat any noodles. We told the server about it but they did not offer to redo one for us which was pretty disappointing.
The vegetarian menu is not strict vegetarian! Unagi sauce contains fish sauce, the teriyaki don sauce also contains fish sauce. Hey Sushi Mori take note that you are falsely advertising on your vegetarian menu! Update: this isn t anything to do with strict vegetarian standards, it is basic. Meat, meat byproducts are not vegetarian, these items should be removed for a vegetarian only menu, or change the recipe not to include meat or meat byproducts, easy enough to do! Vegetarian options: Be careful and ask if all there items on the vegetarian menu are actually vegetarian ;-) because they are not.
This is our go to place for sushi! Always fantastic.
Beautiful place, very good rolls and udon, great hospitality.
Pretty good sushi, cool interior decorating of the restaurant. My server Anna was amazing!
It was my very first visit to Sushi Mori and it was good, the menu is massive, maybe even to big as it would take a multitude of visits to scratch the surface, however, our waitress Anna, on only her 3rd shift, proved to be the nicest and friendliest waitress in the business, she could teach every waitress in the industry on how to treat your customers and have them come back to any establishment, very good service, exemplary!
I had an exceptional dining experience at Sushi Mori Restaurant. The ambiance is truly captivating, featuring a beautiful Japanese architecture-inspired setting with a simulated cherry blossom garden. The atmosphere at the location of the restaurant adds to the overall appeal. The staff deserves commendation for their warm smiles, friendly demeanor, and Eastern hospitality. Their attentiveness enhances the dining experience, making it even more enjoyable. The meticulous preparation and presentation of the dishes showcase the culinary excellence of Sushi Mori. Each bite is a delightful journey of flavors, and the quality of the food is consistently impressive. The integration of Japanese architectural elements creates a serene and pleasant atmosphere, contributing to the overall charm of the restaurant. The simulated cherry blossom garden adds a touch of authenticity, making it a visually appealing spot. Having visited Sushi Mori multiple times, I can confidently say that it has become one of my favorite dining destinations. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an exquisite Japanese dining experience. The combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and outstanding cuisine makes Sushi Mori a must-visit establishment. I look forward to returning to savor more of their delectable offerings.
An average sushi restaurant with very stoic customer service and very very average food. In the last 2 years they have reduced the amount of food and especially sashimi which they hide in a lot of salad. Staff also very unhelpful.
Food quality has really gone downhill over the past few years. The lack of care at every stage of preparation is apparent. Really disappointing. This used to be my go-to sushi restaurant, but I dont think Ill be returning.
Came here for lunch and there was plenty of seating. It is family friendly and service was great. The decor and atmosphere is very relaxing and extra cute with the cherry blossom trees! The rolls came out fast and our fave was the magma roll which wasn t too spicy and lots of flavour. The snow Atlantic was massive. Next time I ll just order half roll. The spicy pork bowl was not dry and very filling.
Had high hopes as this place looked good. Unfortunately the rolls were stale, tasteless and dry. As pictured, the Dynamite roll was completely dry and old shrimp tempura was used. A dynamite roll should come with mayo, avocado also..this had nothing. Other dishes ordered we also tasteless and stale -- off tasting. Overall, overpriced for poor quality food.
Very tasty sushi
Very good food and really nice atmosphere
The food was good. We had the lunch special and a few rolls from the menu. Server wasn t very attentive, and we had to get her attention to order and to get the bill on the way out. Food
This is our usual date night spot. Great selection, nice staff, love the sakura (cherry blossom) decor. Try the brie cheese karaage, very unique. Service is above and beyond.
Love the selection and atmosphere.
Average
Vegetarian options: Quality ingredients and very tasty Food
All around a great experience. Love the cherry blossoms
My favorite sushi restaurant in the lower mainland. The quality of their sashimi is second to none. The service is prompt and friendly. A very clean establishment.
(New review): Went there after a year or so. The food was great and tasted fresh as before. The Tempura tasted great but it got a bit smaller in size than last time. Otherwise very fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and good service, clean washrooms as always. It seems to me like they did add more lamps to the washroom. Overall 5 stars and absolutely recommended (Older review)One of my most important criteria for 5 stars is the WASHROOM! Quite clean but dark and weakly lit!! Couple more potent lamps would do the work here definitely. Otherwise nice decoration, friendly stuff and good food with affordable prices. Their Tampura blowed my mind I definitely recommend this restaurant for a Sushi night.
Great sushi! Very clean place and the Ambience is great. Staff were very nice as well.
The dining experience was truly UNPARALLELED! Every dish showcased a remarkable blend of flavors, expertly crafted and presented with precision. What really set this evening apart was the outstanding service and the genuine politeness of the staff. They went the extra mile to ensure every detail met and exceeded expectations. Tonights dinner was a delight, and Im eagerly anticipating my next visit to relish this exceptional combination of culinary excellence and impeccable service.
Poor food quality - got my stomach hurt. When I arrived to pick up the order - the restaurant had a bad fishy smell inside - big red flag. Service is quite good though. But will not come to this place anymore.
Great food, love the ambiance! Beautiful cherry blossom trees everywhere. Food is really fresh and well prepared. They have Oyster Bay Sauvignon blanc...my favourite!
Really tasty , I mean really tasty food ! What a nice surprise! We had several rolls, salmon, icecream ... Everything was really tasty !
We randomly stopped by the restaurant last Saturday. We noticed it was quite busy and figured it must be good. We entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted by staff and seated. The restaurant is clean and elegant and from the decor with it makes you feel as though you are in a Japanese garden with Cherry blossom trees all around you. The restaurant is spacious and has lots of seating some of which is in the more traditional style others abee booths and larger seating areas for bigger parties. We ordered several different types of rolls and some of the other offerings. All of the items we ordered were great and service was prompt and the servers were courteous and friendly. Prices are not bad either and there is ample parking outside the restaurant. COVID protocols are being followed here and I will definitely be coming back again and would recommend a visit to anyone looking for a great sushi restaurant.
Nice ambience, friendly attentive staff. Really enjoyed the food.
Nice place to enjoy good japanese food with fair price and good taste. Vegetarian options: They have veggie roll and vegetable tempura etc. Food : 4/5 |
The taste of the food was very stale not fresh at all, and i got charged alot
Everything awesome and recommend to anyone
very reasonable price. food portion is big. yummy and delicious Japanese food and with some Korean fusions styles. love to go again with friends and family. Food : 5/5 |
Nice Japanese atmosphere. Friendly and fast service. Priced appropriately. Thanks
Excellent food and nice environment. The portions are huge, and the quality is amazing. There is tons of variety, which makes it sometimes chaotic to decide, but once you find your favorite dish, thats your way to go everytime Vegetarian options: Havent tried, but for sure, there are options Parking: Havent had any issue finding park Kid-friendliness: I go all the time with my kids, and they love to play with the chopsticks
Service and quality have gone very downhill last 2 months....just had dinner there for a last chance as it was good in the past but enough is enough....service was brutal and food was the worst it has been. Too bad but gonna have to find a new place in the tri cities.
Food was pretty good and portions are big. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and it wasnt very busy yet service was slow and lacking. Ordered 3 lunch sets- one of them being a kids Bento. It would have been nice if that one came out first as children have less patience. Servers were not overly friendly. One of them looked like she didnt really want to be there. My biggest annoyance is the fact that one of the workers (seems to be the manager as she was on her laptop at the restaurant) had to use the wheelchair friendly washroom instead of the regular womens one. The wheelchair friendly one had the kids change table. My baby had a diaper blowout and was very upset but we had to wait for her to come out. No apologies after she came out. The womens washroom was not occupied and like I said the restaurant was not busy. Maybe just 4 tables Also the floors were incredibly slippery
Havent been here in a few years and... It seems that I have been missing out. Saturday night, the restaurant was full (made sense), I only waited a few minutes before being seated. Great atmosphere, and I really liked the design. The only thing I didnt like was the flies, which is funny because I saw them zap a few flies with the electric paddle. Everything that I ordered tasted delicious! From the light battered and deep fried tempuras to the fresh sashimi. Lovely flavors from the salmon. Chicken Yakiudon was good but not great. (Needed more sauce) **The best in terms of flavor for me was actually the salad with the red beet, avocado, and slightly seared tuna!!** Great attentive service! I was checked up numerous times throughout my dining experience. Nice spot for a date night or a meal with family and friends!
I love sushi, however, not at this place. Not as tasty as it normally is the seating for large group, whats not comfortable?
Gooe food but Service is slow
I was really excited to try this restaurant. The interior and the trees really make the place. The interior designers did a great job! Food was good but service took a little long. Maybe because it was the weekend. Overall, I liked it! I recommend the tofu and veggie, Yaki Udon. They have kids menu too. I will definitely go back and visit again
Service is Zero. Nada. 0/10. Didnt get a refill, my throat is dry like the Sahara desert as Im writing this at the resturant. Foods good though.
Beautiful interior in a large store And friendly staff The food was really delicious too I had a good time haha Thank you^^ I would recommend going here If you are in area and care to have a wonderful Sushi experience, go to Sushi Mori Coquitlam
fresh and good portion top 3 best of the city no doubt Food
Expensive for what it is. I know lower mainland prices are going up but yikes. One meal, no leftovers, not worth $30-$40 per person.
Standard Japanese restaurant. A wide variety of special rolls but nothing really stood out about the food.
There was a mouse running around the tables. We left. August 10th, 2023, 8 PM.
We were here a few times food was actually good but today we were very disappointed food was not tasty at all :(
I like this place for the variety available and the quality of the food. The atmosphere is really nice as it cherry blossom trees inside so it gives the feeling that youre sitting outdoors. I recommend their spicy sunflower roll and aburi salmon oshi, those are my favorites!
Great food and service
Ordered takeout on Sept 11, ordered a California roll and some other items and was hoping the reviews would live up to expectations. However, the California roll was disgusting. Tasted like rotten fish and the typical crab meat was substituted for crab sticks with no communication from the restaurant. Terrible food and experience, will not eat here and do not recommend anyone else to.
Great vegetarian and vegan options. they offer wild salmon - highly recommend upgrading to it in every roll.
I used to love this place but hadnt ordered from it in a few years after a bad experience. Decided to give it another shot. The dynamite roll we got yesterday was the worst I have ever had. Insane amount of lettuce, tiniest amount of avocado and the prawn tempura was mostly tempura. To top it all off the roll was so loose it was falling apart. I have had better dynamite rolls from gas stations.
Lovely place and service :) For me, personally food was ok but the portions are big! Food
Food was not good as other places and price was so much higher than other sushi places
Massive quantity of delicious food. Service is leisurely so be patient. Very polite and friendly servers though. Chicken teriyaki and sushi rolls are the best weve had in town. Tempura is crispy without being greasy. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options here including tofu teriyaki.
It was a birthday celebration, and we didnt choose the wrong place. The only thing I couldnt help but notice was the scarce amount of times that we were checked up on, having our teas refilled etc, but it was apparent that they were suffering from a staffing shortage. But despite this shortage, it didnt affect the service that we did have nor did it affect the quality of the food. Overall an enjoyable experience that I would do again.
Very nice and cozy place to have dinner with Family or friends , have a great menu and the prices are good , so happy to having all my delicious food, absolutely recommended thank you guys. Vegetarian options: I saw they have lots of food for Vegetarian . Parking: All the time I can park close to restaurant.
Mori sushi portion sizes have gone down significantly when you order via pickup or through uber eats. Their chopped scallop nigiri used to be double the size.
Awesome staff and great service. I love the food and restaurant also.
I love this place! Great sushi, and the cherry blossoms atmosphere is one of a kind! 5 out of 5 white boy thumbs up
Restaurant shows open until 10pm. However, they close the kitchen at 9:30. Terrible experience when you drive all the way there becuase you cannot help the craving for sushi and they wont serve you. Lose my business forever.
