We went to try their hot stone bowl set that has been advertised online (through their instagram and TikTok) as well as their current menu to have a variety of side dishes. We ordered the fried Mandu to start and that was very good. For mains, I ordered the bulgogi hot bowl set and my partner ordered the spicy pork hot bowl set. The main bowls were delicious for both sets. However, they advertise this to be with a variety of banchans (Korean side dishes) and to be honest..I was excited for the banchans. To my disappointment, it came with the absolute bare minimum- kimchi, bean spout salad (you can get these for free at literally any traditionally korean restaurant), and cold jeon. I think the salad was just to fill the tray. The “daily soup” was also disappointing; there were literally just slivers of radish and fish cakes. I was expecting something more substantial, even something like 된장찌개. Maybe they felt pity for this sad tray of banchans bc they put a random bottle of yakult on there as well. I really hope that the restaurant takes this review into account and goes back to serving what they advertise online and on their menu. Please see the sad reality vs online ads of their hot stone bowl sets. Just so sad and disappointing :(
After dining here several times, I definitely owe this place a review. The food here has been excellent every time. Their meat for Korean BBQ is always fresh, marbled, and of the top quality. I had an Anago (eel) combo meal this time, and portions are massive. The eel was tender and super flavourful. The banchan was plentiful and the selection was great. The yogurt was a nice touch as well. I enjoy dining here and would not hesitate to come back again.
Paid parking. It's hard to find the retail parking entrance. They should put a big sign about it. So that way customer won't spend extra time to find it. This place was pretty clean, but overall, I won't go back to this place. Bean sprout on the side dish was the most delicious at this time. Fried chicken : The batter was too thick. It was a bit hard and too tender to give it a bite. Chicken wasn't seasoned properly. I found 3 pieces of fried chicken skin out of about 10-12 pieces. Kimchi Fried Rice : This fried rice was too oily. I see an extra amount of oil at the bottom of the plate. Found some burnt kimchi pieces, too. Beef Kalguksu : Beef was soft, but that is all. Nothing to impressive, and I left most of the food.
Solid kbbq in Coquitlam. The meat was fresh, and the side dishes were good. We got our food within minutes of ordering, but the stove had to be kept on a very low setting and it took a while for the meat to cook. We didn’t mind it, though, because we used the time to chat and enjoy the side dishes. Service was decent, as the staff responded right away to the call button. However, the thermos for the hot water was too small for the entire table, and it had to be refilled a few times. The location is somewhat confusing. From the parking lot, we had to walk past 4 locked doors to the restaurant before finally reaching the correct one. We almost thought that the restaurant was closed and left for something else.
I had heard so many positive comments about the lunch set here, so I finally had the chance to visit on a weekday. From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent. I was seated right away, and throughout the meal, the staff checked in regularly to ensure everything was to my liking and even offered refills on the side dishes. The hot stone rice bowl set menu was especially tempting, with a variety of options including grilled fish, beef short ribs, vegetarian dishes, and even Korean soy-marinated raw crab and shrimp—dishes that were hard to resist. Each hot stone rice bowl set comes with flavorful Korean side dishes and a daily soup, which is always one of the highlights of Korean cuisine. On this visit, I was offered a spicy beef and silky tofu soup, which was both rich in flavor and incredibly comforting. For the main course, I enjoyed a whole crab and two prawns. To make it easier, they provided disposable gloves for handling the crab shell. Curious about the best way to enjoy the meal, I asked the server for a recommendation. She suggested removing the crab meat, mixing it with the hot, steaming rice, adding an egg yolk and flying fish roe, and then topping it all off with toasted seaweed. The result was fantastic—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying! Overall, the experience was a perfect blend of great food, attentive service, and a memorable meal.
We enjoyed the Kosoo Combo C for 2, which included Beef Short Rib, Marinated Beef Short Rib, and Marinated Pork Galbi. The experience was great with ample side dishes and the ease of ordering via screen. Service was efficient, and though it was a bit pricey, we left feeling fully satisfied. Plus, it's just a 7-minute walk from Lincoln Station, making it very accessible. I highly recommend this place!
Great place for Korean BBQ in Coquitlam. Ordered the Kosoo Combo B for 2 and it was more than enough for my wife and I. The Marinated LA Galbi was sooo tender and tasty. We found the Marinated Rib Fingers a little on the chewy side for us. The Original Boneless Chicken was OK. Tender and crisp but not much flavour to it. Got scared away when the Soy Garlic Boneless Chicken said “mildly spicy”. 😂 I can’t handle anything spicy (even mild) 🤣 They were kind enough to give my wife a side of Kosoo Sweet Chili Sauce for the chicken. 👍 Word to myself: Don’t sit next to the window in the summertime during sunset. The sun coming through the window was pretty hot. Even hotter when you’re doing BBQ. 😂 Will definitely be coming back.
A decent experience. Korean-style on-table ordering tablets. The lunch BBQ sets are actually a pretty good deal, but the soups they come with fell a bit flat. The side dishes are unlimited but also tasted a bit too mass produced. The service was great though and super responsive. The servers helped us navigate the menus and give us the best value which was much appreciated. Overall food was a bit meh but the meat was good at a good, value price point. Rice is NOT included in the lunch BBQ set so that’s where they kind of get you.
There is no free parking for the restaurant. It is a bit expensive. The meat is not bad. But the kimchi pancake js salty. The oyster noodles soup is like corn soup not the seafood soup or bone soup.
Commuted long to visit this location because it came up on the Instagram reel that they were offering a $15. When we asked about it, the waiter said it was no longer available and that the influencer must have reloaded an old video? Ended up paying $7 more for what was advertised as $15 which is fine but the principle is not clear. I just checked the website and it says $15 ??? Especially if I could have gone elsewhere closer to home for the same hot stone set meal. Staff are nice and attentive but we felt played to have even come all the way to Coquitlam. Parking is also paid if you park in the lot.
Very artificial-tasting lunch combo overall.
Worst ever food I had in town - We had to waste a lot of food as we couldnt eat it. Maybe its our fault as we are not used to Korean food. Anyway wasted 85 CAD
The best rice I ever had in Vancouver. Combo for 2 ppl is more than enough amount and good quality. We will definitely be coming back sometimes! Food : 5/5
Sorry never had a chance to get pictures. This was Awesome in every way, All the many foods and multiple little dishes, BANCHAN s which were replenished promptly a few times. I particularly liked the 2 dried squids. And the quail eggs. Everything was so good and comforting. And the lunch deal is a steal. Thanks so much.
Even though i like Kosoo and im going to robson branch every time, in this branch food was very disappointing. We ordered kimchi stew and ox tail soup. Kimchi stew was supposed to have pork belly, but they only put maybe 3 small pieces and they were all fats. And the ox tail soup tasted like nothing actually. it did not had any flavor and we had to ask for salt and pepper which we could get after 10 mins even tho restaurant was not crowded. And i also do not understand how the price can be same with the other branches but portions are very different.
We got cheese chicken platter and on weekdays its only $32. For two it was way more than enough. Super delicious. They were out of eggs so they gave us Gyoza instead
We recently visited this restaurant with a group of six, hoping for a great evening but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. Firstly, we were surprised by an automatic 18% gratuity charge for our party, which might have been acceptable if the service justified it. However, the service was lacking in every respect. Our server had a poor attitude when handling our food, barely engaging with us. Despite multiple empty plates and glasses at our table, the staff was more focused on chatting amongst themselves than tending to us. We had to wait for basic things like water and tea refills, which never came. Additionally, the lighting in the restaurant was uncomfortably dim after 7 pm, making it difficult to enjoy our food or even see it properly. Overall, we left feeling that the mandatory tip and dim atmosphere didn t match the quality or service we experienced. I would think twice before returning.
Our server was very nice and courteous! He even pointed out and recommended the specials to us!
Food is okay, we liked the eel and the beef but the intestines tasted weird even Im a fan of intestine. It would be nice if they have big tables or connecting tables for big groups. We have 8ppl but have to sit on separate tables.
Side dishes and soup were salty. The meat tray looks quite old. The pork belly was too fatty with very little meet, the meat didnt have the flavor I expected. Rice is not included in the BBQ dish, which seems strange since it is a common side dish in Korean BBQ meals. Overall, this was the worst BBQ experience Ive ever had.I was really hoping for a great meal, but was disappointed. I dont think I will return.
The servers are friendly and the variety of side dishes is good. The amount is quite large. However, I ordered soft tofu stew and got soybean paste stew. I still tried to eat it, but the stew was sour, probably because the tofu was spoiled. I also added rice, but there was some browned rice mixed in at the bottom of the rice container. When I asked, the answer was that it was the last rice, so I was embarrassed, but I just passed it on. I hope these problems are improved next time.
Kosoo is currently offering lunchtime Korean BBQ menu at 20% off(as of Nov 2024.) Or their all day steel-pot rice combo with 9 refillable side dishes is one my favorites. The staff was kind and attentive unless they are busy. But they are constantly doing something even refilling side dishes several times. They are not slacking and kind. You can order on a screen installed at each table and there is a bell to press when you need a help. The only downside is there is no free parking lot for the building. You can either park at shopping mall around or free street parking.
Food is good.
The Korean male server that was working on the evening of Saturday Sept 28th 2024 is a gem. My bf accidentally hit his fork on the bowl and it went flying along with some rice and meat and it hit the table behind us. The lady sitting there was really upset and the male server was trying to calm her down. We apologized to him as it was an accident and the table space was a bit tight. He was really understanding. Food was good too.
The male server was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food is really tasteless and I wonder why the quality has decreased so much. First of all, all the side dishes were bland. The only thing I could eat was a little bit of kimchi if I put a lot of seasoning on it. The garlic sprouts looked like raw vegetables, and the side dishes, including bean sprouts, oden, and seaweed stems, all seemed to have been seasoned. Both the rib liver and pork belly were below expectations, and it didnt seem like they seasoned the meat at all, so even the quality of the meat was low. The meat smells After eating, I felt bloated and uncomfortable all day long. I used up all the points I saved, and I dont think Ill go anymore. It was a place I enjoyed using, but I am very disappointed.
Amazing place! Tried it out for the first time and ordered Combo C for two people. We were pleasantly surprised with the quantity of food that came out. For the amount of money we paid, I highly recommend!
Food was really good and different than the usual Korean food you can find.Banchan was good..service was a little lacking but everything else made up for it.
All my friends and I were impressed with the food and the service. We will certainly come here again.
Booked the private room for a birthday. Food and service were phenomenal!
Came on a weekday evening for the weekday specials. It wasn t too busy. Food would be better if it wasn t too sweet. Even the kimchi was too sweet. The service was fast and friendly. There is paid underground parking on Lincoln street. Or the Henderson mall parking across the street is free after 6pm.
Nice place for a party
Our first time and we were amazed. Our server was so kind to walk us through everything and answer all our dumb questions without making us feel dumb :). At first we were nervous about the price but once we realized the amount of food that came included it was a really good deal! We ordered combo B for two and three of us ate and had leftovers. We have our new favorite restaurant!
Place is the best!!! They played timeless and it was the most wonderful experience of my life !!!
NO service basically -No toilet paper, no paper towel - you need to order from the provided screen by yourself - they dont check on their customers - you pour your own tea, and they dont care if it runs out - bad experience, never come again
We didn t try the bbq but the soup and kimchi fried rice. The food was great and the servers were very pleasant. Parking is a bit of a hassle though due to the road work. Good find.
Its alright. One of the waitress was giving attitude and it was very unpleasant.
The food was ok but the service was quite disappointing. 90% no service + 10% slow service. Won t go back again.
Pork belly is so delicious.
The rice had a sour smell as if it had been soaked in water for a long time, the soybean paste stew was a bit tasteless, and the service was unpleasant and it was the worst restaurant. When I went last June, the chef came out and apologized and made me rice and stew again, but it was the same, and it was the same again when I went in August.
Great food and service!
Overall, the food was not very tasty. Also, the attitude of the female server was unpleasant. She tried not to look at us when I rang the bell. It might have been because there were 9 of us, so the automatic tip was 18%.I will not go there again.
Delicious~delicious
Tried the one in downtown and liked it very much, so decided to go to Coquitlam to try out their original store. I am not disappointed, the menu here is different and the place is bigger, yet the food is still delicious and the service is top notch. Highly recommend
The food overall was a little sweet, but the servers were friendly and delicious. I think it would have been better if the raw yukhoe naengmyeon had been a little less sweet! Other than that, theres a lot of yukhoeyang and its good
Fantastic side dishes included with the combo sets. Quality meat.
Really liked the cold noodles that we ordered. Food is always great, we have tried them a few times to satisfy a craving for Korean. Service could be better. Location is a bit inconvenient from a parking point of view. The number of paid parking around, can quickly transition ones frame of mind from annoying to frustration to eff it, lets go somewhere else.
There is no service except ordering food, and the tables and plates are not cleaned. Its really acceptable to ask guests to pay 18% tip when making reservations for six people. The food is of average quality and expensive. All the soup is very salty.
They changed the ordering method to tablet but charged the minimum tip option from 18%. There is not much service other than having your food being delivered to your table. Tablet ordering should stay in all you can eat type of restaurant or food court. Not in a barbecue restaurant.
Im having lunch with family and we tried the beef tartare. It has a nice big presentation in a deep bowl and comes with seaweed, processed cheese, and apple slices for palette cleansing. It was quite enjoyable, being juicy and fresh. The staff were very helpful and patient when I asked for details about it. There was also marinated raw crab that Id like to make note of. It was fresh and delicious. We will come back again.
Service is fine and staff are friendly. However, we were quite disappointed with the food we ordered, especially the original fried chicken that was utterly flavorless (we even suspected that they must have forgotten to add any seasoning).
Decent bbq.
They told us to wait for 40 minutes, and then 40 minutes later they told us it would take another 40 minutes.
So like my friend wanted steak,AND there was a picture of steak on the menu while not even having steak on the menu fr (he wanted a normal ribeye steak!) Overall, food was good and music was AMAZING but the menu itself was capping because it said 20 to 30 dollars per person while a normal meal for one person cost 45 dollars. Good restaurant ,reviewed by a eleven year old.
I wanted to eat meat for a long time, so I ordered Combo B. Except for the pork belly, the seasoned items were too sweet, so I was a little disappointed as they seemed to be aimed at foreigners rather than Koreans. Parking is also inconvenient, so I am hesitant to come again next time. I didnt feel good because the staff pretended not to hear me even when I told them that they were trying to take away the leftover food in a place where it was clearly visible that they were so busy.
Highly recommend their Rose Chicken Platter as the portion is generous and tastes delicious!!
Best food, amazing staff, friendly and cleanliness is great, i highly suggest this place best food
Went here yesterday night at around 9:40-10:00pm. I forgot to grab his (worker) name but he had cool earrings. He was a wonderful employee. He was kind, friendly and very helpful! always coming back if we needed anything. The bbq was so delicious and flavourful! I love how theres many options of side dishes! I enjoy my time there. Id definitely come back! :)
Food is amazing
I like that you can order just one BBQ dish instead of the minimum two orders required at most Korean BBQ places. However, the portion sizes are inconsistent, as the BBQ meat we received this time was significantly smaller than the previous two visits. Meat quality also went down Also, their menu should be clearer. It should specify that the 10 side dishes, 1 soup, and 1 green onion salad that come with the Korean BBQ are per table, not per order. My friends and I only received one soup after adding additional BBQ orders. The $3 portion of rice was also quite small, smaller than a typical rice bowl, so I recommend opting for the hot stone rice at $4 instead. Lastly, make sure to mention the loyalty program QR code at the time of payment, as they do not prompt you for it.
Finally writing this review but I had come here during the Holidays during dinner time. The service was appalling and we ended up getting very sick. The time and day we came was not particularly busy, but upon entering the servers refused to greet us or make any eye contact with us or anyone waiting. We put our names on the online waitlist, but there were clearly tables available. The servers continued to walk back and forth without making any eye contact. They were laughing and chatting with each other. We waited about 35 minutes before they sat us down at a table that I noticed was already empty for most of the time we were waiting. The server slapped down a menu, ran away, and when we ordered she suddenly told us it was the lunch menu and that we couldn t order from it. She spoke impolitely and made it sound as if we had done something wrong when the server was the one who gave us the wrong menu. We waited for our food for a long time and it seemed that customers who came and ordered after us were getting food first. We asked about our order and the guy said uhhh I check then never came back. When it was time to grab the bill, we waited 30 minutes and had to remind 3 different servers about the bill because they kept saying sure but never came back with the bill. We even let them know but they were not apologetic or attentive. Again it was not busy. Worst service I have ever received. The guy could tell we were upset but seemed to think it was funny. The worst part was we both got very sick with stomach illness after eating here that ruined the New Year week.
The food was okay but the service wasnt there. Severs were talking to each other and laughing all the time while my meat was burnt. So I had to cook by myself. They didnt even turn on the burner, so I had to do it. Side dishes were empty, the water bottle was empty, but no one asked anything. It could be better than this.
Great food with price. Excellent services from all waiters.
The cuts of meat are very good, I like that the banchan is refillable. The barbeque also comes with a soup, the soft tofu is especially good. In my experience, one barbeque combo is enough for 2 people as long as you order rice, which doesnt come with it Vegetarian options: why are you even here if youre vegetarian Parking: There is no parking, as it is located right on the street, however you can park across the street in the lot at Henderson.
Far from my place but its worth it. Kindly server and unique menu food for Korean.
The food was super delicious, lots of side dishes. Friendly servers, will be back again soon
I live in Seattle and I went there yesterday. The food was so delicious and they were so friendly. This is a place I want to go to often if its in my neighborhood. How about opening in Lynnwood?
Went for dinner Had to wait 25 minutes before getting the table. There were more than 2 tables already checked out , but nobody care to clean the table , they just keep us waiting for too long before they cleaned and clear the table for us. Don t want to go again. Food
Worth to eat, nice staff
The chicken is the worst Ive had in Vancouver. It felt like it was covered in pepper and chewing rubber, perhaps to cover up the smell of old chicken. My friend who went with me eats trashy food well; If he leaves it behind... It was really bad The cockle bibimbap was plentiful and delicious, and the kimchi pancake was ok. I think the table next to me ordered seasoned BBQ, but it had a foul smell of old meat, so it came out quickly.
Staff was friendly and informative, food was delicious, was a great experience. I will definitely return,
Celebrated Fathers Day here
My first time at Kosoo enjoyed the Korean BBQ. Well marinated meat. The side dishes included tasty little eggs!
The great quality and very reasonably priced korean restaurant. Highly recommend
Soy sauce crab, cockle bibimbap, seasoned crab, everything was delicious.
The food was so delicious and the staff were so friendly~~
Great taste!
I really enjoyed the soy sauce crab marinated crab and pork belly combo. The staff were also very friendly.
I had soy sauce crab sauce and it was so delicious. The event price was good and the taste was better than expected. I highly recommend it. Parking: underground
It was so delicious. In particular, the price is very good and I am very satisfied with this level of quality for this price. Highly recommended ^^
Its the best restaurant in Vancouver. Its a taste youll want to eat again and again.
Fantastic service and very tasty soy marinated crabs! A must try.
Delicious Korean food
Delicious quality foods! Highly recommended. Various dishes as well. So many choices!
Yummy food. Was very filling!
Loved this kbbq place! Free refills on so many different kinds of sides, and lettuce. Fried chicken was a large portion, and overall amazing taste!
The cold noodles were not hand-made, the broth was small, and the rib soup was okay. I went to Calamari because it was said to be a good restaurant, but I was very disappointed.
The soy sauce crab sauce was so delicious that I came back! The crab meat is soft and delicious. I wish the staff could just tell me how to eat it deliciously ^^
I saw it on Facebook and found it in New West, and it tasted exactly the same as the one I had in Korea. It was a good thing I came from far away. Ill have to come again next time with my golf friends. Ill have to spread the word about it. Good luck.
I knew it was a Korean restaurant before, but I went there because there was an event. Personally, its one of the top five marinated crab stews Ive ever tasted. The ingredients themselves were fresh. I dont regret it^^
The price was good and the food tasted good! I ate well.
I think the food is too sweet for our tastes.
We ordered the set menu good for 2.. (100$) and extra pork belly.. it comes with free soup, we choose the soybean paste.. the soup is really good it has beef strips inside, and also it comes with chives pancake and a lot of side dishes(refillable too).. the serving size is quite big, so we ended up not finishing everything.. this is gonna be our go to kbbq for now. Our server is really nice and always smiling .
I often come here to eat soy sauce crab, but I came right away because I heard there was an event~^^ The soy sauce crab is delicious as expected~ It was my first time trying seasoned crab and it was too sweet Personally, I recommend soy sauce crab~~
I had soy sauce crab sauce and seasoned crab sauce and it was really delicious! The service is good, the price is reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice. I recommend it.
I had the pleasure of lunch at Kosoo today and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was charming and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was simply outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chefs skill and creativity. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend Kosoo to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon!
After getting sick, I felt refreshed by the visit.^^ The taste was great
This was my first time visiting the Go Soo Coquitlam branch, and the visuals were nice and it was good value for money for a meal~~ Thankfully, I had a good meal~
Very tasty. Just right spiciness. Excellent Beef quality
Gossipocha and Coquijeom food are all delicious. I ate cockle bibimbap, marinated crab, and makchang, and it was so salty. This is a place I want to come again next time. The food is all good. I ate cockle bibimbap, festival crab, and makchang. It was so delicious. A place I want to go again in the future
Tasty foods and very nice staffs here.
Soy sauce crab and seasoned crab were so neat and delicious. The soy sauce crab sauce was more delicious than the seasoning. The boneless seasoned chicken is also plentiful.
Came here for the marinated crab for some cousins visiting out of province. Didn t realize we made it in time for the last day of the promotion! 50% off is a steal and the food was amazing. 10/10 would come again, the other restaurants are missing out for not serving the marinated crab.
Didn t try BBQ so this might be unfair to them. Had the Hot Bowl Rice and KFC. Rice was acceptable but how hard is white rice and steamed protein. The fried chicken had way too much batter and no sauce, so it tasted like an oily fried doughball. The korean sides were also mediocre/bad kimchi is ok, but potato, bean sprouts and all the other sides were either too salty or no flavor. Tbf the prices for lunch were decent. May try the bbq next time but will not be back for the other food.
People should know that this place gives a discount on your bill for leaving a google review and Facebook review, the server checks your review before discount is applied so I do not feel people are being honest when reviewing. Probably why they have so many good reviews for really sub par food. The seafood was below Vancouver standards and did not taste fresh. Raw crab was extremely fishy (previously frozen fishy) the clams were also not fresh. Beef Tar tar had zero flavour. Fried eel was dry and full of oil. This is the worst Korean restaurant i have been to and far below standards for Vancouver. Extremely disappointing experience
Everything is great. Quality food ,great service with smile. nothing to complain about here ! Thanks for everything. Food : 5/5 |
Not tasty at all!
This is the first time I see a GST of more than 5%. Is it legal?
Do NOT park in the building! Whatever you do, dont park in the attached building. You will get a ticket if youre even a minute late and the parking system they use doesnt allow you to extend your parking stay without having to physically go back to the parking lot. Theres a guy that literally waits for you to be late and pounces on your car. All of the cars parked in the lot got tickets. We were 5 mins late... I know... our fault. But we thought we could extend the time online (like every other online parking system). So by the time we figured we couldnt extend, it was too late. Park across the street in the city lot instead. Food was ok.... some meats better than others. The ban chan dishes werent that great and service was kinda slow and inconsistent.
it is delicious Even though it was busy, the servers were friendly. Willing to visit again even without discount
I stopped by because I ate it a few days ago and it reminded me of it. I recommend the cockle bibimbap because it is really generous and delicious. The seasoning of the red pepper paste pork belly was so delicious that I ate it with rice. I enjoyed it so much. I intend to visit again.
food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice!
The deal is very much worth it, you can get so much for so little, I would definitely recommend kosoo Coquitlam or any other branches tbh. But you should definitely check this place with their fantastic deal !
Served and upcharged the wrong items despite the staff using the ordering iPad so it wasnt miscommunication. Some staff were also rude and didnt acknowledge us at all
Very good staff & food We ordered almost all menu and everything was satisfied. Especially the promotional menu were great Food
Cockle bibimbap is so delicious
The cockle bibimbap was so delicious that I came back again haha. I also like yukhoe, so I came back to eat it. Recommended.
Great promotion going on! Food is amazing, Ellen our server was amazing with her positivity and great hospitality
The meals are quite delicious and the portions are large! The three of us ordered Kosoo Combo B, which includes beef, pork, tofu soup, leek pancakes, and cream mushrooms~very delicious!
Soups are delicious but lunch combos are pretty bad. The worst part is pay parking. Really? This is Coquitlam not downtown Vancouver. Ridiculous.
Great customer service. Food is great
Food was really good and promotion was amazing as well. Food quality and presentation was very good.
The best Korean soy marinated crab here!
A lot of side dishes were added. The meal for two was very filling. The meat tasted great. The service was great.
Friendly staff and nice food
I ate soy sauce crab sauce, raw meat, and tripe hotpot! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, so I had a pleasant dinner!
I went for the lunch special. Its plentiful and delicious. Thank you for doing the cilantro special.
The food was very delicious and the service was good. Thank you!
Its a taste that makes me want to visit again. The red pepper paste pork belly is especially delicious.
Soy crab was terrific! Ellen, our server was friendly . Service was great. Food : 4/5
I came here to eat two days in a row. I highly recommend the raw beef and soy sauce crab sauce.
The raw fish was a little salty, but the soy sauce crab sauce was very tasty and the cockle bibimbap was also delicious. The staff are friendly and we eat well. :)
It was really awesome food! Be honest, Kosoo is the number 1 Korean restaurant in Vancouver ! Lovely
Went here at 4:00PM and just in time to order from the lunch menu. Had an amazing time and food tasted great! Ordered the soy-marinated anago lunch box set and loved everything on it!
A korean restaurant like so many others. The ambience: a hall, many benches, many tables, a large room. Nothing special. The food is ordered online on the computer. The drinks are ordered from the service. At least the food ordered is fresh and prepared. However, there were major problems with serving the food. It took over an hour from the first dish to the last, because the kitchen was apparently overloaded.
Fairly god pricing for the portions, went with a friend and you can eat until full for only $15 depending on what meat you order. Huge steal compared to lots of other K-bbq places. I recommend the LA galbi, its one of the cheapest meats on the menu yet has the most meat out of everything we ordered and was very good. Last time we went it was 5*, but unfortunately when i went there a few times afterwards it seems that service and quality has downgraded. Marinated meat was still great but the lettuce I was served was wilted and so bitter I spat it out. The service was slow every time I went to eat here. On many occasions we asked for bowls of rice since its not on the ordering machine, and had to wait extremely long as well as flagging down waiters to get it (10-20 minutes).
Easygoing, great food, wonderful experience overall.
Good food & great service. Authentic Korean cuisine & fusion. Definitely come back again! Food : 5/5
You don t find this much variety of food in this quality anywhere else. I am from Vancouver but I love coming to Coquitlam to enjoy these food! They are tasty and there is a menu for every age, from young (tteokbboki, fried chicken) to old (soul food like galbitang).

Great food and great service
The food was great and the servers were very friendly. Love the BBQ and the Soft Tofu soup!! I will visit again soon!
The parking for this restaurant is on the side off Lincoln and its a paid parking lot with security often watching. We came for lunch and they have some very good deal lunch set. We ordered two lunch sets. I never tried their soy marinated crab so I ordered that set. Their mini dishes were very good. One warning is that the marinated crab is raw and you have to use your hands to eat it. You may want to YouTube on how to eat it. It may not be a good idea to order it on a date. Parking: You have to scan the QR code in the wall of the parking garage to pay for parking. Theres a security guard walking around checking.
It s plentiful and delicious.
Wonderful service and very high quality foods. You can experience true tasty of Korean food with very good price!
Service and foods are sooo good! Try marinated raw crab!! Food
Gejang is so delicious! The portion was bigger than I expected and I ate it all in one go!! Thank you so much~
Each visit here is consistently delightful! You can tell theyve really put thought into crafting their menu. The food is tasty with plenty of variety, and the staff are welcoming. Cant wait to come back!! Cilantro always makes me feel good every time I visit! I think the menu was carefully thought out and developed. The food is delicious and I like that I can choose from a variety of choices depending on what I want to eat that day Especially the people working are really friendly! Ill be going again soon :) I enjoyed the soy sauce crab sauce so much today that I didnt have any pictures, so Im posting a picture of the full meal I took the last time I ordered it! The menu composition of the soy sauce crab sauce menu that was being promoted was really good!
Thanks to the promo, I ate it at a cheap price and it was delicious :) I also ordered crab, but I ate so much that I cant take a picture. The raw meat was also really fresh and delicious!
So much enjoyed the GanJangGyeJang and other foods.
I enjoyed the soy sauce crab sauce so much! The servers were friendly and the portions were plentiful.
Wow! This raw crab is amazing. I recommend the spicy one. Also, rice combos are amazing value. I only wish it was close to my home. Prepare to find the parking since the restaurant does not have dedicated parking.
I had cockle pot rice and it was really delicious!!!!!!
Good price and tasty food
Very nice food and service, highly recommend!
It wasnt a busy time when I visited and there were plenty of seats, but it took 20 minutes to be seated. There werent many customers, but I ordered food and waited for another 40 minutes. The employees dont care about the customers. The food is average for my taste. Its been about 5 hours now, and my stomach hurts so much, as did the group I went with.
Just the taste of crab that I wanted! I recommend it (Spicy pork belly is also delicious )
First time but really good Korean food! Recommend
Great place for family dinner. Food was delicious. We had oyster and short rib hot stone bowls. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, very authentic!
Visited here for the first time. The staff were very friendly with a fast service. The prices for food was resonable and they have a lot of variety of banchan. We enjoyed our visit here and hope to come back to try some other dishes and BBQ.
Such a great food! Came for lunch with my girlfriend and ordered special marinated Shrimp and crab. Such a savory taste and great service! Definitely coming back soon!
We ve been wanting to come to this BBQ place for a while. We came here when it was a hot pot place and then a HK cafe and now a Korean BBQ. Finally we found time to try their lunch. We ordered a beef finger and pork jowl. The price was $20 per plate. It came with many banchan including marinated raw squid and quill eggs which were very tasty. The meat came and it was a very good portion for $20. We had left overs. The meat also came with garlic, lettuce and hot pepper. They also have lunch special with oysters, clams, and bulgogi ranging from $15~$20. Service: The servers were very friendly. We came back for a second time and this time there were more servers than before.
Great food great service!
The food was so delicious and the service was great. I definitely recommend it!!
Great food great atmosphere, highly recommended!
Atmosphere was great and restaurant is relaxing. Air quality was great as well, good ventilation. BBQ meat was great (quality and quantity). Banchan variety and quality was the best. Rice was a bit dry, soy bean soup could be better, same with their pancake. Overall good experience.
I ordered cold noodles and tripe. The cold noodle soup was good, and the cold noodle broth was so weak that I paid $17 for it, but it tasted much better at other restaurants. The biggest disappointment was the tripe. Just write it. Every time I ate one by one, it tasted bitter. If the product is not cleaned properly and contains impurities, it will taste bitter. I wont go again...
