Good food, fresh, good portion, clean and good to go there as family or a group of friends. A little bit pricy.

Wonderful place, delicious food. We ordered 3 dishes; Bambada signature steamed seafood pot (we ordered the small size, but it was big enough for 4 people), Clam bibimbap (a must!), and a Spicy tako salad (the most delicious dressing). My husband and I had a blast. Thank you to all the involved!

if there is one more time I bite sands, I will sue you for that. This is very basic. What if, if you break someones tooth with the sand? Clean 200 % with your clams. If not, you dont sell. I will take it for today for now from the kind server.

I visited for my birthday and it was delicious, so I took out clam bibimbap and ate it. The signature dish, steamed clams, was so large that 4 people couldnt eat it all, and the raw meat and grilled scallops with cheese were also delicious. The servers are friendly and the owner is friendly!!

I ordered one of the lunch set menus and it was enough food for three people! Its a seafood stew, but the soup is The clam bibimbap is red, but the spicy ones are also good. There was fish cutlet in the set, so I was like, wow?! But it was delicious.

Whenever you crave a Korean style seafood feast, you shouldnt gorget about this place! No words needed, but the best! Parking: A lot. Kid-friendliness: Its not a problem to bring kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Very Spacious.

We ordered their set meal for $88, which includes: clam bibimbap, small seafood pot, and fried fish steak. 3 side dishes were given. Added another special of fried scallops. - Clam bibimbap The rice is warm and the portion is generous! The two of them had half a portion left. The clams are served with leeks and chrysanthemum mixed with sesame oil and Korean hot sauce. It s really good with seaweed slices! Seafood hotpot Seriously, there s a lot of seafood! There are abalone, mussels, squid, shrimp, clams, and chrysanthemum! But abalone is not gutted, which I can t accept. The overall soup is a bit smelly~ Im not used to it, so I dont recommend this. Fried fish steak, fried scallops I highly recommend these two types of fried food from their store, they are so crispy! And the sauce that goes with it. I really want to eat it after one bite. In the end, I even finished eating the dregs. - Generally speaking, the seafood pot is not recommended, it is too fishy! If you re not used to cold rice, don t order clam bibimbap because it s still warm when served! I think the fried food is good! Still love to drink barley tea~

Worth coming many times

It took 45 minutes for the food to come out from when we were seated at the table. If you cant get the food out of the kitchen quickly, I think it would be better to turn the table halfway now. As for food, the only ingredients included in the raw fish dish are dried fish and boiled octopus. I think it would be better to change the menu name to boiled octopus and raw fish. The taste is above average.

This is one of the best place to visit for any occasions. Recently, I had my birthday party there and ordered many different kinds of dishes. The food was amazing; seafood was so fresh and the presentation was great! All of my friends loved it and wed definitely come here again.

We didnt expect the cold soup to come with shaved ice. It is winter now, and they could have warned us beforehand or the food being offered only in summer or on menu write icy soup instead. Other than that, everything was good. The service was fast. The premise is spacious and clean.

After eating all the clams, the kalguksu (noodle soup) and the sujebi were so delicious. The clam fried rice was also so delicious. The kids enjoyed it too. The staff was also very friendly.

Fresh & delicious seafood + professional staffs

I ordered steamed seafood, fish cutlet, clam bibimbap and fried oysters. The food was mediocre at most. The portion was pretty good. the abalone was not prepared correctly and they dont let you know what to remove before you eat. So, dont forget to remove its tongue and teeth before you eat them. Also, dont forget to remove some parts of conch. They dont tell you what to remove for this one either. The taste was just ok. Fish cutlet was really good though. Crunch, moist and delicious. Fried oysters were good. But not as good as fish cutlet. It was missing some flavours. Clam bibimbap was very bland.

Service was good and pretty worth but the taste was mid, and I didnt really feel full after for some reason.

Thank you to Bambada owner and staff. We felt like we were at a Korean restaurant in Jeju Island or Yeosu, with excellent food and great service. We were able to share a happy family dinner time with amazing Korean seafood .

One of my favorite Korean restaurants! Fresh ingredients, great service and huggy portions at a reasonable price. I ve been coming to this restaurant since they opened, and they have been constantly great. We ll definitely go back. It has been consistently delicious since opening and the service is also very good. The servers are all friendly and constantly check to see if you need anything, and of course the food is very delicious. May you prosper!

If you crave seafood, this place has a lot to offer in Korean style. Great food with nice presentations, attentive and friendly service. Cant say the prices are all affordable, but definitely worth it.

We had the small seafood platter (they said it was for 3-4 adults) and it had plenty of seafood - clams, mussels, prawns, conch, abalone and topped with crown daisy s. in addition, our group ordered their clam bibimbap which was a super fun experience wrapping it on seaweed.

Update 20240412: The clam bibimbap and seafood hotpot are good for the first-timer, but actually some of the other items really hit the spot, especially with soju. The stir-fried hagfish ( ) is really good. Previous: Pretty unique in terms of Korean food options in the city. Lots of seafood. The clam bibimbap is quite large and the seafood hotpot is packed with clams, mussels, two abalones, two shrimp and two whelks (for the size small). The soup is delicious and has a nice spicy finish. Will definitely come again to try their other dishes. Not cheap but 100% worth the experience.

The menu was all delicious and the side dishes were good. I ordered two Seokhwa-jjim first and it was so good that I ordered an additional one. The clam-jjim soup was really delicious, but it was a shame because it got soft when I added the noodles.

It is hard to find the restaurants which serve fresh sea foods around this area. As we ate at Bambada, we all were satisfied with the freshness of sea foods. All family members including my daughter were happy with foods and the quiet atmosphere. We will be regulars!!

In short, it could be seen as a clean seafood Korean restaurant. The atmosphere is so clean and spicy that it makes you want to drink soju even during the day. It is not a residential area or a shopping mall, so it is quiet during the day but is expected to be very crowded in the evening. Since they are open until 11 oclock, most sales seem to be made at night.

This place is real! Incredible portions and care put into the food. Its not the typical msg stuff. The menu is made of real ingredients. I highly recommend!

Their inferior is nicely done - simple and modern. Dining area is pretty clean. They have great food variety. Their prices is a bit high but the ingredients and portions make up for it. They also have a good drinks menu. The servers are friendly and they did check on us several times. They are known for their seafood hotpot. For 4 adults, we ordered the small to sample it along with 4 other dishes. The small had plenty. It is a bit spicy because of the broth - it had jalapenos in there. We also ordered the clam bibimbap, beef yukhoe, tako salad and a fried fish with fries. The tako salad is pretty spicy as well as they seem to use quite a bit of gochujang and gochugaru in there but so tasty. We had a bit of leftovers to take home. Definitely a try and Ill be visiting again to try other items. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and non spicy food options but are mostly deep fried.

The food wasnt bad, but I couldnt help it because the sand kept chewing on the clams. Actually, I felt like it was a waste of money to have all the clams left over from the seafood stew. It seems like clams are the main menu, but is there any way to do this?

We ordered lunch combo A which includes one seafood hotpot, one clam bibimbap and one fish cutlet. The clam bibimbap and the fish cutlet taste ok, but seafood inside the pot were not very fresh, especially the shrimp. I can tasted they use the frozen shrimp. The final price after tax was 101.5 which is not worthy for the food quality .

We went for a family dinner (5 adults and a baby) last night after participating in their Instagram event (free lobster for the first 10 reservations of the signature steamed seafood pot). I honestly didnt expect much and thought the lobster would be just a small add-on to the meal, but I was really surprised at how big and fresh the lobster was! My baby enjoyed getting to meet the lobster too :) The seafood pot itself was enjoyable as all the seafood was fresh and the broth was delicious as well. The 5 of us ate to our hearts content and added 4 servings of the Seafood pot noodles, which I would highly recommend as it was the perfect way to finish the meal. The restaurant was very clean, and I loved that we could enjoy our meal in a semi-private room. The servers were very friendly and worked diligently to satisfy all the customers, even though it was a busy night and all tables were full. All in all, I was extremely happy with the experience and will be back to try some of the other menu items in the future. Thank you Bambada!

Seafood was so fresh, tasty, and the portions were generous! They have a clam bibimbap that you wouldn t typically find elsewhere, highly recommended!

Made a last minute reservation for New Year s Eve dinner (really glad they replied my Instagram message). Got the small signature steamed seafood pot. Huge portion with lots of seafood in a flavorful (slight spicy) broth. Highly recommend it. Also got the seafood sot bap and spicy seafood ramen. They were ok, nothing really stood out. Overall a great experience. Definitely worth a visit.

I heard a lot that the food was delicious, but I couldnt use it because the timing wasnt right. I stopped by because I heard it was open for lunch this time. The signature dish, steamed seafood clams, was as delicious as they said. The freshness of the seafood felt like eating it in Korea. The servers response was also very good. I plan to go again soon. I had a good time. PS: The fried oysters were also delicious.

Place is famous for its seafood pots and it was fun to try and experience. We ordered the big box ($135) because we re seafood lovers and wanted to see what it included. The broth was absolutely delicious, so was the seafood: but I don t think it s worth $135. In the big box, you get 4 abalones, 2 oysters, 2 scallops, a few shrimps, a few sea snails, and the rest were claims and mussels. I wish there was more equal variety because you re mainly paying for claims and mussels - some of which were clearly frozen. Would recommend you go for the smaller spot ($45) as you get almost the same things (you can just add things you might like, such as oysters. Service also needs some improvement - it s quite slow and while they re nice, they weren t very attentive. All in all, very hyped up place, but fun to try.

Very cozy place with delicious seafood! I had their spicy fish roe soup (which tastes way better if you ask for vinegar to add into the soup), fish cutlet, and clam bibimbap. Generous portions and very satisfying. Fish cutlet was super crispy. Pretty good quality seafood, albiet quite small, and the clams were a little sandy. I was surprised by the lack of sauces they offered. Service was friendly, but not as attentive. We had the bell to ring for assistance and sometimes it would take more than 1 ring to get someone over as it gets quite busy. Recommended to call for a reservation. Yesterday, after a lot of research, I finally ate seafood clam stew and raw fish in the sea at night. First of all, the food came out in 30 minutes. They said it was because there were so many customers, so I just understood and moved on. But...you need to pay more attention to removing the shellfish in the seafood stew. I chewed about 3 out of 5. I fully understand that it is difficult to get 100% relief, and even considering that it is a restaurant, the sand was chewed up a bit. And I think there was too little raw fish in the raw fish. The bowl was large and had a lot of vegetables, but it was too little for $38.

If you love korean food and seafood, this is the place for you. The portions are big and meant to be shared. Only got to try the clam bibimbap was delicious! I shared it with another person and took home half of it for another 2 servings of lunch. They do not hold out on the clams at all. We will be back to try the hotpot and bossum looked amazing. Only comment is the services as it was lack luster kids whos more interested in their phone or hair. Also, if you did not make any resos for dinner on a weekend, be prepared to wait. We waited 45 min and still think it was worth it. The couple right after us was still waiting by the time we left as the reso bookings were coming in.

Super yummy dinner! We ordered the clam bibimbap, seafood pot and the deep fried fish with fries. There was soooo much seafood packed in all the dishes - especially the seafood pot which had a really delicious, light and refreshing broth. My favourite was the calm bibimbap and I liked how they served seaweed with it too. Side dishes were good and our server was really friendly. There was also a button on the table so you can call your server as you needed. Slightly on the pricey side for a meal but its definitely a must-try place to check out in Coquitlam. Parking: Parking at the front, parking lot shared with other businesses on the lot.

Very delicious, my husband and I were very impressed with the amount of seafood in the seafood pot and the clam bibimbap was my favourite. Update: Came here again a week later which tells you this is definitely a place to come for tasty Korean food.

The food is excellent with dishes that you not see in a typical Korean restaurant. I especially appreciate the quality of the Spicy Seafood Ramen. The broth tastes custom made. I suspect with the stock from their many steamed seafood dishes. If you are looking for something more filling the Clam Bimbimbap is a great choice. Their version is one not seen in any other Korean restaurant in the Lower Mainland.

Yesterday, after playing golf, it was too hot, so I was searching for raw fish, so I went to eat it, but the moment the side dishes came out, I had a gut feeling that I had come to the wrong place. Kimchi, pickled radish, seasoned broccoli... What was it when they told me to sprinkle some vinegar on it and eat it rotten? The moment you take a bite and think about the sweet and sour soup, you wonder what it tastes like. Theres a lot of mugwort in the sashimi Its just a vinegar-based soup full of mugwort scent and thats it... The seafood pot rice is just an abalone and a few clams It was a waste of money, so I ate it all the time. Even if I make it with cold noodle broth, it would be more delicious than this. According to the review, Dont be fooled. I really think you need to research the taste of food.

Called to make a reservation but they said they don t take reservations for 2 people. Told me it wouldn t be busy at 5pm. Drove all the way there as a walk-in customer and got turned away because they re full booked and can t guarantee a spot even if I waited. Then why don t you tell me this on the phone? Horrible!

I went to this place without expectations because I heard there were likes and dislikes. I regretted why I came now. Lunch Combo A is highly recommended. ^^ The food was flawless, clean, plentiful, and delicious. I hope there will be a lot of publicity around. I thought it was a restaurant that was too good to be left alone. It is said that the lunch combo also applies on weekends.

Food was spectacular from start to finish. Every dish was fresh, well prepared, and plated well; it goes without saying, but it tasted great as well! Andrews staff is so kind. Excellent service. Extremely great location where a lot of tourist hot spots are in a 10 minute walk away. Quite and large rooms. Subway is located 5 minutes walking alway. Stuff is great. Every request is immediately fulfilled.

The seafood clam stew, clam bibimbap, and fish cutlet were all delicious. At lunch, four women ate our fill, and we want to go again. (There was quite a wait in the evening.)

The clam bibimbap was really good. I liked it a lot. Steamed seafood hot pot was overall not bad but the mussel was super fishy. I assume that the mussel was not probably fresh or rinsed properly. It was good overall though. Id like to try next time definitely.

Great experience! Got the small seafood pot, clam bibimbap and fried chicken with fries. All tasted delicious. We were impressed by how much clams were in the bibimbap, and it was flavoured well. It came with seaweed as well, which was fun to eat with. The hot pot was delicious, seafood was fresh, and the broth had so much seafood flavour, it was very comforting. I liked the amount of garlic and the hint of spiciness. Chicken was good and juicy too.

I rarely eat such delicious food abroad, and I am very happy. Since this is my first time here, I ordered a small amount. I believe I will order more next time and I will share it with you then. This is a seafood restaurant and the ingredients used are of high freshness. I ordered a plate of grilled oysters, which tasted very fresh and juicy, and another plate of fried seafood, which will make you eat several more bowls of rice. It is recommended that if it is a weekend holiday, please book a table in advance because it is almost full during dining time.

The seafood was amazing! I ordered clam bibimbab was fantastic and signature mulhoe was also as well. The only thing I did not find pleasant was the service. It seemed as if they had been working 24hr shift and wanted to go home.

Servers seemed unpleasant to serve food. Clam Bibimbap was very good. I want to try it again but when I think about the unfriendly service I will have to reconsider.

On the last day of my trip to Vancouver, I ve planned to visit Bambada, after seeing all the Instagram posts about them. After checking the business hour from Google and comfortably arrived two hours before closing time, only to find out that they are closed . The server told me that we cannot dine in or order to take out. I mean, I ve been a branch manager at one of the bigger chain restaurants, and this could only mean that they started closing from much earlier. It was a sunny day in Vancouver and there weren t a snowstorm, earthquake, zombie apocalypse or any other emergencies. They were closing just because it was a slow day. I don t know how long they will last with this kind mentality, but I was very disappointed to say the least.

* Mulhoe - My kids couldnt forget the taste they had in Korea, so we had to cancel when they asked if it was seafood or beef when ordering. I ordered seafood, cabbage, crown crown, cilantro? Anyway, there are a lot of vegetables and two slushies. They say to adjust the seasoning by sprinkling it with red pepper paste. First of all, the seafood contains squid, octopus(?), and some raw fish, but since it is frozen, it is crunchy when you chew it and you cant taste it at all. The noodles that came with it, I dont know how long they were boiled and left out, but they remain stiff even when mixed in broth. Its so unfair that I paid over 30 for something like this. *Seafood Ttukbaegi - The taste is so good and the seafood is so good *Clam bibimbap (?) - Just add sesame oil, red pepper paste, and seaweed and mix it to make a taste that anyone can make. * Overall review - You should never order raw fish, everything else is mediocre or below average, I will never order it again.

The clam bibimbap was delicious, and the raw fish had almost no roe or oysters and only a lot of clams. And the raw fish soup had only a lot of vegetables and too little raw fish... There really isnt even an amount of sashimi (in the 10-20 dollar range) at a sushi restaurant. Number 5 Ive been here more than once, but its always the same, the bowl is too big and there isnt too much sashimi. Its not raw fish, its water vegetable. Its too expensive for the price. Its not cheap either... I dont often leave reviews, but I think this one isnt right.

Their claim to be a Korean seafood restaurant does not disappoint. The clam bibimbap was outstanding. All of the shellfish was excellent, as one would expect with Coquitlams proximity to great shellfishing. The restaurant is unassuming and very casual. If you are not familiar with Korean food, dont shy away from this place. They will walk you through what to expect, and there is a range of food from entey level to fully-committed. If you like seafood, this is a must try.

Service and restaurant cleanness made up for the food. Given it was marketed as a Korean seafood restaurant, expectation of course was high for their main dish. However, only the clams and mussels were of good quality. All guests agreed the abalone had a weird smell and the octopus was rubbery. The bossam was 80% fat. The highlight was the pickled radish. Totally not worth the $40.

We came at around 7:30PM and there was no wait. We got the clam bibimbap ($30.00), wing and fries ($20.00) and cheese potato pancake ($21.00). We thought the food was okay. Nothing amazing. The clam bibimbap felt under-seasoned. Lots of clams but needs a bit more spice. The wings and fries were crispy but not juicy enough. The cheese potato pancake okonomoyaki didnt stick together well and was hard to serve. Overall the food was mediocre. Not worth the drive out to Coquitlam. The price wasnt too expensive and the portions are quite large. The service is pretty fast

I really like this seafood place. The food is super yummy, and its one of my favorites. I always enjoy eating there because everything tastes so good.

Went to the restaurant with 5 friends so we were given a booth. The interior was very clean and well decorated simply. The waitress was quite attentive and the dishes were unique which I didnt get to try in Canada previously. Will be back again to dine in.

Amazing Korean style seafood.. tried their signature seafood pot and it was amazing, clams, mussel, prawns, squid n abalone too.. remember to add noodles in the end into the pot with the soup... definitely will return to try the other items in that menu.

Today, I drove 40 kilometers to a place introduced by an acquaintance (she strongly recommended it). Even as I go, why am I doing this? I went with that. I really enjoyed it. Clam fried rice, raw raw fish, and seafood stew? Clam soup? I ordered 3 like that. As recommended by an acquaintance, I was satisfied with the taste and quantity. I dont know when the next time will be, but I will definitely visit again. My daughter wanted to eat Korean raw fish, so we went there, and she was very satisfied with the three menu items above. I became a good father. The price seems cheap compared to the taste/quantity. Be sure to visit.

It was my first visit with my family. I was very satisfied with the delicious meal in a quiet and friendly atmosphere. It was more generous than I expected, and thank you for giving me the pleasure of eating this kind of food in Vancouver.

The food is amzing and the service is great. We were welcome by the host and seated within minute. The restaurant was almost full. The reno is contemporary but comfy, bright and clean. We ordered the big box signature seafood platter, honey tomatoes and a bottle of plum wine. The seafood were fresh and the serving was as advertised. And needless to say that they are so tasty. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!

Even though the food came out, the plates werent even set. It wasnt until long after I spoke that he got ready. Although the order wasnt right, I enjoyed the clam bibimbap and steamed seafood dishes. Food was good but pricey and awful service.

Only the plating was very flashy.. The quality was 0.1. Compared to this, the price was too outrageous.. I think the price should be lowered or the quality should be increased..

Very light Korean steamed seafood, delicious and filling, suitable for family dinners. The chicken gizzards are usually a bit chewy, and my friends who mixed them with the cold noodles said they were delicious, but I thought they were just average. There are vegetables and sashimi in it.

All the food is delicious~ The seafood stew is delicious and the setting is also a work of art I came here for a company dinner and all the staff loved it. Im happy to have such a good Korean restaurant in Vancouver. However, I wish they were open for lunch as well. I want to eat it for lunch too >.<

Wow, this place is real. From today, this is my favorite house.

A little different from other Korean restaurants. Our clam bimbimbab was a bit cold when served. The seafood hot pot is a must order! Fresh and delicious. Pairs well with a few shots of soju and rainy season over a few anecdotes. We will definitely come back.

Honestly.. it s good but I think it s a hype more than a meal? The flavors were bland for me.. wish they had options to make the broth spicier? ( . ) All in all price is okay for a lot of seafood lovers. Worth a try!! We had fries on the side as well and also their stone pot rice as well.

Steamed seafood with low quality, my friends and I had tasted a ton of sand. The intestines of abalone were not removed. Other foods are just normal Korean dishes, would not recommend.

Came here for the Korean style seafood pot after hearing about the hype, and it s definitely worth trying at least once if you re a seafood fan. We ordered the smaller size on the recommendation of the waitress since there s only the two of us, and the portion is just right since we also ordered the calamari and the Yukhoe (raw beef tartare). Seafood pot is obviously the highlight, with clams, mussels, squid and abalone. The broth itself is light and savoury, but it starts to feel salty the more you drink/as it starts to get cooler. The yukhoe feels fresh and refreshing, not overly seasoned. Calamari is alright; big portions for the price, but nothing that would blow you out of the world. If I were to go back again, I d probably skip both and just get the bigger version of the seafood pot instead.

The price is a bit expensive
