1190 Pinetree Wy #112, Coquitlam, BC V3B 0J5, Canada
Funky option for Korean fare including variations on fried chicken, served in a loftlike setting.
This was my first time dining at Oz and it did not disappoint! The overall experience was fantastic. We ordered the dduckochi and cheese balls and they were both delicious. The bibimbap and katsu platter were very good as well and super filling. You definitely get your moneys worth here. It also has a wonderful atmosphere and feeling inside that is cozy and quiet but still lively. I will definitely be coming back again soon!
This is a hidden gem by Coquitlam centre. Really cool atmosphere and great food. Only reason I cannot give 5 stars is some foods we ordered were way too spicy like the teokbokki (rice cake) - if you’re not Korean or you’re not used to eating super spicy, it can be hard to eat. I recommend sticking to other dishes like their fried chicken or katsu and japchae (glass noodles) which were super flavourful. Overall, a great restaurant to hang out at with friends and it’s opened until midnight.
i’m a tough 5 star pleaser and this OZ got me! they had the best soontofu soup I’ve ever tasted. they served it hot as you can see, NO MSG after taste, and when I asked for no veggie, they just know. I am filled not w preservatives other restaurants does w their food. I am legit stuffed and fully satisfied w the taste and freshness. keep it up you guys! won’t be surprised if after this review, they’ll order lots of tofu! Thanks OZ Sunday (08/25/24) team!⭐️
Korean food here was a bit unimpressive. Maybe because the restaurant didn’t specialize in any particular Korean cuisine and they had a bunch of different items so ultimately, nothing really stood out for me. It was quite busy when we went and they do not take reservations after 6 pm. Luckily, we got the last table available when we went at 7 pm and it was quite convenient to sit at even for a wheelchair user. We were given the menu, water, and the small side dishes. We were able to order relatively quickly and dishes came out one by one and temperature was right. We ordered kimchi pancake, pork bone soup, and two kinds of Korean fried chicken which were just perfect to feed for adults. Prices were reasonable.
I use to live in this area and frequented this place often. I remember trying it for the first time 5 years ago and fell in love with their hot pot soups. Coming back here to have a meal with friends was nostalgic. We enjoyed the food as always and would recommend this to anyone looking for some Korean food in the coquitlam area.
Loved this place! Staff was kind, food was DELICIOUS and great quality. Some of the best tasting tofu I’ve ever had - they even threw in some Korean fried pancakes for free, since we asked them to remove meat! Would 100% reccomend.
Consistently great fried chicken that is moist and nicely seasoned. We usually get the chicken platter, and add some sides. Service is brisk and friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky, you might have to hunt around to find a spot.
Came here on a Sunday mid afternoon post hike. Wasn’t too busy and our party of 3 was able to be seated immediately. We were able to order off their lunch special menu (forgot to take a picture) which offered a variety of choices from their regular menu at a discounted price or in a “combo” feature (good value). Food met my expectations and was decent, however it wasn’t over the top amazing. Think: homey comfort food, and it delivered on point. They even provided us a complementary seafood pancake (감사합니다!) Staff were friendly and food came quickly. Atmosphere was as good as a mid afternoon would feel. Would have to come back in the evening to get a better assessment. Overall, would recommend a stop by if you’re in the area and craving some Korean comfort food.
The best option en the zone
Good food..good service
Very delicious food
Oz is our favourite Korean Cuisine! Amazing presentation + taste & very kind staff. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality experience to remember.
Dumpling soup is to die for. Fried chickens good! Theyre always keeping their menu fresh. Have never been disappointed and have converted many friends and family to Oz believers.
very good fried chicken would recommend
My girlfriend and I went in on Octobee 11th. I got the donkatsu curry she got the donkatsu combo. It tasted good but when we got home we both experienced the worst diarehea of our entire lives. She had to miss work today because of this. Fairly certain we both got food poisoning.
Tteokbokki is the best, honey butter chicken is awesome
Worst experience possible, came with a group of 4 people food tasted okay. Over all un satisfied until later that night every person got violently ill. With severe food poisoning. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Servers were nice but that does make food poisoning any better already had to miss work and probably going to be a second day of work missed
One of my favourite Korean Fried Chicken places. Their Padak (green onion fried chicken) is absolutely the best!
Still delicious after 7 years! Best Korean Fried Chicken around Favorite is the Padak Boneless Chicken and Butter Garlic Boneless Chicken! The Katsu is good, just wish the meat was a bit thicker and the batter was a bit more crispy Very friendly service!
Love their chicken, the spicy one is my favorite.
The atmosphere is very cozy. The food was fresh and tasty. There are GF options. The server was very friendly and inviting. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
I enjoyed it^^
Really liked the food here! Haven t had any Korean cuisine for a long time and I really enjoyed the restaurant!
Spicy Seafood Rice Cakes paired with a side of cheese balls & seaweed rolls!
Food was delicious and authentic. All dishes came at same time and there was barely enough room on the small table. It would be nice to have dishes spaced out. The restaurant was nice and cozy. Food
Great place to have dinner in Coquitlam
Fresh but a little soft this time, quick lunch with great service
This is a restaurant I often visit when I go to Coquitlam Center. When you feel like having a beer, its close to the skytrain station, so its a great place to visit without a car, and its also great to take a leisurely stroll around Lafarge Lake after a hearty meal. My favorite menu here is the assorted pork cutlet. It is softer, crispier, and more delicious than any other pork cutlet restaurant. When I eat fried food, I thought of spicy food, so I ordered tteokbokki and it was delicious. And friendly staff and owner!! Its the best. The sweet and sour pork served as a service was also very delicious! ah!! The chicken here is delicious too! Unfortunately, I cant find a picture of the chicken. This is a place I completely recommend.
Delicious food and great service! Love the fact that theyre open until midnight 7 days a week. Awesome place to dine with friends, enjoy a beer and some delicious eats.
Delicious dishes with reasonable price. I would recommend Padak chicken if you can only order one dish!! It was so good!
Delicious Korean Cuisine. All plates are very well served. The flavour are very tasty. Salad also delicious. I really recommend. Some family suggestion: -Fish Don Katsu -Chicken Platter
It is the Korean restaurant serving fried chicken and other cozy Korean food on the corner across from Pappa rotti s. They had a variety of fried chicken flavors. I got half orders for the original with cheese powder and one with light soy sauce and onions which were safe, nonspicy choices but still good. I also like their sweet chili flavor which is more saucy. The seafood tofu soup is spicy and delicious. The katsu combo was nice to try the different types with my favorite being the fish tonkatsu. The fish was very soft and was perfectly made. Not a huge amount of side dishes were given but was full enough from the several items we ordered.
The food was probably microwaved. Inconsistently hot, some elements were hot and others were cold. The smell of the space is musty. The first table we sat at was directly in front of the bathroom doors, less than a meter away, which was extremely unappetizing. We were moved to a table that was in the entrance, facing what looked like a laundry room (which led into the kitchen?) There was a lot of noise coming from a machine. The music was blaring. We should have walked out and left but I wanted to give the food a chance. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences at a restaurant, ever. Will not return.
Amazing experience dining here. The place is very accessible. The food is great, serving sizes are adequate, and the atmosphere is awesome. They have a variety of menu selections to choose from. A must visit for sure.
Good food and good service
Poor take out food. The beef bulgogi don soup tasted too sweet, no rice was included (forgotten), the miso soup tasted terrible (literally tasted like cigarette smoke), and the rice in the cheese don katsu was very little and old. It was ordered at 11:10 pm, very clear they were clearing out remaining rice, and didn t include the rice for the beef bulgogi don on purpose. Portions were incredibly small, paid $38 total, worth $10 to be honest. Never come here again.
The one thing I love about Oz is its opening hours. It is the one proper restaurant that is open late (12 am) in Coquitlam. However, service at times can be quite slow. Among my few visits to Oz, I had the opportunity to try the pork tenderloin katsu don and the regular, sweet chili, honey butter, and soy fried chicken. The pork tenderloin katsu was delicious. It had a crispy exterior and the even distribution of fat throughout the tenderloin part of the pork created a really juicy cutlet. On the other hand, the house-made sweet katsu don sauce was delicious along with the rice, but I found the rice portion a tad bit too small for the amount of sauce and pork given. Also, the boneless Korean fried chicken in Oz is crispy, delicious, flavorful, and makes the perfect late night snack. The one thing I wish would change about the menu is the ability to get small sizes for all the various flavors rather than the few selected ones on the menu. I found myself ordering a large to share with a friend and still being unable to finish it. Overall, I was not quite a fan of the honey butter fried chicken, as I found the sauce quite bland and mediocre, but I would recommend the sweet chili and the soy fried chicken any day. All in all, if you are not in a hurry and do not mind occasionally waiting extended periods for food to come, Oz is a great place to dine in.
Great fish katsu, really crispy and not oily. Great pairings when ordering the combo. The takoyaki and miso soup were great addition. Not a big fan of the fish cakes but my wife loved them so if you re a fan of fish cakes I d recommend them. The fish donkatsu is also a definite recommendation if your looking for a more bigger portion the sauce they use is really great mixture with the rice and the veggies are also cooked to really well not raw. But would ask for some tartar sauce to dip the fish into.
The Chili Chicken here is sooo good! I recommend the half and half chicken for sure.
Great food and great quality - would recommend this place to anyone looking to have Korean fried chicken.
Love their foods.
Food is good. Service is awesome. Yena is the best server and so attentive.
Avoid his place at all cost. We paid $62 uber eats and it was a ridiculously small amount of food. $12 for the tiniest about of fries too. What a joke. Uber eats wont credit me back anything and its really unfair. The quality of the chicken wasnt good either and cheap store bought sauces. The amount of picked radish, tiny. Avoid this place!!!! Gogo chicken is the spot.
The place is very nice, the service excellent and the food delicious.
Lightest and juiciest fried chicken in Coquitlam!
Recommend if you walk around Lafarge Lake Winter lights! Hot soup with rice is the best choice in winter time!
Great place. Chicken was awesome! Reasonably priced. We had a big group and tried most of the items on the menu. Serve was great.
The food was good and the service was great
Fun and quaint Korean food. Buzzing all the time Parking: Not too convenient. Food : 5/5 |
Hands down the best korean fried chicken in Coquitlam (since JTL hasnt been operating since June 2022). The padak chicken is my favorite here (green onion in a sweet sauce sauce) as the chicken comes out tender and not just the right amount of batter for some crunch. Took away a star as the spicy pork bone soup just did not deliver. I had to review it as I did order it as well. You literally just get pork bone and soup with no potatoes or even a strand of cabbage. The saving grace was there was quite a bit of meat in the one serving. Saved it as leftover and added potatoes and served with kimchi. With that, the only side dishes they serve is the pickled daikon and cabbage salad (unlimited). Would definitely recommend the fried chicken anytime of the week, just not the pork bone soup (go to Wang Ga Ma for this....so good).
The food here is delicious. If I could fill up a pool with the sweet and spicy sauce Id swim in it.
One of my familys favourite restaurants havent ordered anything I wouldnt fully recommend.
First time trying this place, got the katsu combo and the onion sauce fried chicken. Love the fried crisp, good flavors and well balanced meal. Staff were friendly and overall price was reasonable. A little bit hard to find parking, but was worth it after a cold day meal
Taste Good!
Amazing food and great service! Oz is by far favourite place to get Korean chicken and all of the staff are extremely friendly and frequently check on us to make sure we are happy
Food and service at OZ is always great. Their fried chicken is very good, not greasy at all. They have large portions for their other dishes, such as their tteokbokki which is delicious!
Parking: Free parking at the back with code access 1171 Food
3.5/5 stars. I liked the KFC it was very similar to Ajuker chicken style but mabe even better because oz has more chicken and less batter. They offer drinks on their menu and a decent atmosphere to chill with friends and drink and eat Korean style.
Good Chicken same as the original KFC.. lol (Korean Fried Chicken) not the other one.. they suck.
We ate at Oz Korean Cuisine for the first time, and I thought it wasnt too bad. It was not the most crispy Korean chicken Ive had, but it was a good meal all together. Their food was more on the spicier end. Even my friend who enjoys spicy food thought it was very spicy. Parking is hard to find around the area. And the service could be better. The servers dont go to you until you call for them, so we sat around for a while, trying to get to go containers and the bill. Guess thats the downside of being seated in an area not visible to the employees
Good service with good quality It s a very cozy place.
I went here about a month ago to get lunch. I was happy to see lunch specials it was huge. I ordered Hot Pot and Bibimbap Combo it came with 4 side dishes and soup. This included tofu, radish, pork ribs, fried chicken with salad. It was quite a surprise seeing food coming out fast. Pork rib was grilled with torch, fried chicken was pretty good and radish came in plenty of amount. Everything seemed perfect until Sundubu came out. I asked for less spicy soup which came out as medium spicy for my liking. My gut is SO sensitive with spicy food. I felt sick after eating the soup because it was overpowering and too spicy. Other than that, I couldn t finish everything so I packed leftover for work lunch. I ll try other stuff on the menu just that their food was too spicy. How I wish I didn t have upset stomach for a spicy food.
Love this place! Food is always on point and I love the fact its open late in case you have a craving for chicken in the middle of the night.
Yikes. Used to come here all the time before covid, havent been in about a year, but def not how I remember. the seafood pancake was as good as how I remember. the yangnyeom chicken was soft. Not crispy or crunchy at all. I was really surprised. Ozs fried chicken used to be our go-to Korean food and Korean crispy fried chicken restaurant. today we ordered half and half and the normal one was also not as crispy/flavourful as I remember. with an increasing number of Korean fried chicken restaurants near by that are really good I guess Oz is kind of falling off or shifting focus to their Korean food. Korean food was great.
They have good value lunch special. Portion and quality are very good.
Fried chicken half/half combo was delicious and a good amount for two people to split. It comes with side salads and pickled radish.
I am a regular at oz, however lately I have been disappointed in the quality of some of the items. Such as the soontofu and fried chicken. Multiple times I have noticed there is hair in my food items. I did not want to complain because I think it s a one time thing, but I am writing this review to hopefully let oz know that they should improve their hygiene procedures
One of the tastier Korean style fried chicken places that Ive tried. Excellent food. Everything is crispy and fresh and never disappoints. Highly recommend trying this place if youre in the area and its open very late most days.
Careful. Gave us an extreme anaphylactic level extreme reaction since the bulgolgi soup did not state the main ingredient on zucchini on the menu we literally ran to our car and thankfully found and injected an epi pen in front of everyone. To my appall, not one staff member had the empathy or awareness to see if anything was okay. Later on, we had to spend the entire night in the hospital not to mention we found a sharp black hair in the middle of our rice. Once we addressed the issue, they said oh and proceeded the give us our entire bill. We were in a rush and left, but it was a very traumatic experience.
Green onion chicken is delicious Order it large.
Excellent quality food and superb customer service. My favourite place!
Craving fried chicken to take out to enjoy the warm weather at LaFarge Lake. Ordered the boneless half and half chicken Didnt have to wait too long. Arrived steaming hot and had a wonderful aroma. Hot, crispy outside while the inside was really tender and moist. There were a lot of peices. Theres no shortage of korean chicken in the Tri-Cities. I have no problem with saying this is one of the better .places.
The worst experience ever. Ive gone to this restaurant for the first time. I saw a hair in the food when I was eating it!!!!!! I wish I took a picture of it to share here!
Some of the staff behave badly with the customers and also there is no parking.
Tried this on the recommendation of a friend and glad we did. The Cheese Ball and Chicken were both amazing. So delicious and flavourful. Additionally all of the sides that come with the chicken were equally delicious.
I visited Oz Coquitlam and I ordered the Katsu combo. The portion was generous and the food quality was amazing. The staff was friendly and when I asked for hot sauce, I was provided with the request without hesitation. The takoyaki was out of this world. I am coming back as you are officially on my favorite Korean restaurant list.
I was taken aback by the poor attitude displayed by the restaurant staff and the inadequate parking facilities.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was abysmal and the staff were rude. The server was completely unprofessional and treated us with disrespect. The food was mediocre at best, and the portions were tiny. The prices were way too high for what was offered. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The chicken was so crispy and the seasoning of the tteokbokki and jjolmyeon was just the way I like it, so I loved it!
Authentic Korean food. Their ddukboki is pretty spicy. Love their spicy fried chicken and soft tofu soup. Their cheese cutlet is also really good.
Ordered via UberEats and got a small sized regular chicken for free. Wow the size of this is so small. It should be around half the large size but it is about 1/4. Not sure if they do this normal for small sizes or they give less for the free item. The regular chicken taste good. It has a mustard dipping sauce which was a nice touch compared to other korean fried chicken places. The yangnyeom was lacking in flavor. We had the large size and it was a good portion The bibimbap was so tiny. It was so disappointing because it didnt even fill up half the container. Not worth to get this item here. I would stick to original flavor or try other flavors.
The food and price were decent. Used UberEats for a promotional free fried chicken. Tastes more home cooked than traditional Korean fried chicken.
Very good service and food
They have great padak(fried chicken with green onions topping).
Great Korean food but the place is small, busy and noisy. Prefer the takeout.
Ordered the fried chicken half and half. Its one of my favourite dishes, but be aware you dont get to choose which flavours. It comes with a side of pickled radishes and coleslaw. And the prices are a bit cheaper than other kfc places. Parking: No parking available nearby. Paid street parking is available about a block away.
Always quality food & decent service. One of our go to places for comfort Korean food in Coquitlam!
the food was delicious highly recommend the ddukbokki with cheese!! its spicy to perfection and it comes with dumplings, fried seaweed rolls, and eggs. Also, recommend the padak chicken!!
The soup base was nice as usual but there is absolutely no veggies and potato in the dish. Not the best pork bone soup I had.
The food at these korean restaurant is very freshly prepared. The prices are in the middle segment. However, the restaurant is nothing very special and the restaurant is much too dark for me personally. However, the service is very friendly and courteous.
Loved the chickens.
I have tried Oz Korean Cuisine and really liked it (especially padak fried chicken) but this review is mainly for how they treat their customer. Last night, shortly after ordering, we had to cancel our order due to an emergency , and the Oz team were very understanding regarding our situation. Thanks OZ team, Big respect.
Took the nieces and nephews here for lunch again. We were here in summer last year. Still a great place great food, great service, great value for the money!
The fried chicken is good. Particularly a fan of butter garlic flavor. Sadly the seafood pancake was out of stock. Personally not a fan of the other food.
Soondobu soup here is delicious, but portions are pretty small. The pork donkatsu had a nice, crispy batter outside but the meat was very dry.
Had the kimchi fried rice was so good good food and fast
Solid local Korean food, but dishes are hit or miss. Been here several times. Their fried chicken is inconsistent; sometimes the skin is thin and crispy and there s a good amount of meat, but other times the skin is hard, has too much batter and there s too little meat. Their stir-fry pork belly rice was good, but their bibimbap was very barebones and disappointing. The katsu-don had good crispy cutlet, but not enough rice. I liked their cheese ball and seaweed roll appetizers though.
Probably the best value for delicious fried chicken
Really good Korean fried chicken! I love getting the bulgogi rice bowls and ordering a large platter to share!
I went on a trip to Canada with a friend and I wanted to eat Korean food, so I looked for it and it caught my eye, so I went to eat it without much expectation. I ordered kimchi stew and kimchi stir-fried udon and it tasted better than what I had in Korea. I didnt know that I would think of Korean food when I went abroad, but as I traveled for a long time, I started thinking about Korean food desperately. On the first day, I ate kimchi stew and on the second day, I ate soybean paste stew, slowed down my pace, and completed the trip safely until the end. I will definitely stop by next time I go to Vancouver. Good luck ^^ Vegetarian options: There are many vegetable dishes in Korean restaurants, so vegetarians can also eat well. Parking: There are many parking spaces behind the restaurant.
The amount you see in the picture is worth $43. It costs $43.. haha. Its a lot to eat alone.. but its too much. +(add) A friend of mine ordered the same thing (seafood tteokbokki + fried squid) a few days later and it cost $28? It is said that it was about that level. Where did the extra $15 come from on the day I ordered it? I definitely called the store that day and asked if $43 was the correct price, and the employee said $43 was the correct price.
Delicious food at reasonable price. Food orders are made really quickly
I was recommended to try the Spicy rice cake ( ) with extra cheese and it didnt disappoint!! I also tried its seafood variation and it was even better. The half-size boneless fried chicken that came as a UberEats promo, was perfect - it was soft and delicious. Personally I woundt add extra side seaweed fries, its probably not worth $6~8 for the portion. Personally I think its on a slightly pricy but will definitely take my friends and guests if they ever wanted to try something Korean.
Got the Chicken Katsu Don with cheese added on top. Chicken was flavourful but I would definitely recommend against the cheese since it made the dish very heavy. I remember having a bad stomach ache that was only corrected by a visit to the washroom. Just not a very positive experience unfortunately. Parking: Paid parking lot, park and ride, close to the skytrain station nearby.
tastes good
Kimchi hotpot was delicious! The fried chicken was so good! Crispy, hot, juicy! Awesome!
We came in here as a bigger group (11 people) and asked if we could sit at the longer row of tables, the waitress/hostess said no and put us at two separate tables. We asked one more time and she sighed and said fine. Then once we started getting up to move she told us she won t take separate bills so one of us will have to pay for the whole group. We are all students have have that kind of money. We tried to explain but she wouldn t budge. We decided to leave and go get Donair at X-press donair around the corner - they were so friendly and we left so full of good food! What a turn around!! Not really impressed with Oz. I was excited to try the food but the service was not friendly.
The kimchi fried rice was yummy and filling! So far my favourite place for kimchi fried rice
Given 3 stars because of the amazing food, service was slow and not too much concerned about the customer experience. The floor was managed by young people, not sure if you can expect much, but nonetheless, still a restaurant and you expect to be served as in one.
It locates in a very convient location near Skytrain stations and high rising residential buildings. When the foods taste good, there are less side dishes served than other Korean Restaurants.
Tried their chicken platter and it was delicious. Also we tried their half and half... the sweet chili sauce was super. Nice cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Must try.
I ordered their Katsu Don, which tasted very good and the service was also very good. I heard that their fried chicken is very good, I might try it another day.
2 children and 4 adults ate, the employees were friendly and the food was delicious.
one of few places open late in coquitlam. fried chicken is always great, and the other appetizers and dishes are good too. half and half is the best!
Would come back for the fried chicken. The bulgolgi and ban chan were good, but not really memorable. Nice decor. Parking on street, metered. Good for groups and casual dining. Not much for vegetarians.
I have dined in and take out a few times from here. The fried chicken is the best. I usually go half and half - sweet chilly and original I think. I have also tried few other items but besides fried chicken I usually order kimchi fried rice.
Never disappointed coming to OZ. Seriously delicious food and decent prices.
My favourite Korean restaurant, usually a bit of a wait for dine in.
I couldnt help but take a few more bites before writing a review. Half half. Recommended. The fried chicken is delicious and the price is very affordable. Worth trying.
Great dishes with authentic Korean taste
Great food!
The chicken was good but the beef bulgogi was literally inedible. I had to spit it out and when the waitress asked is everything was good I was honest and told her no. She went back to the kitchen and then told me they said they cooked it properly....so not sure what problem that solves but it definitely didnt solve mine. I didnt eat any of the meat and just had rice for lunch
This place a must to go. The chicken, the package meal is beyond extraordinary. Great servers and great place. Highly recommended.
I love the food and the service on this place.
Great food, very attentive waitress,
very good
The portion is small and not so tasty. But the customer service is great!
Goog price and tasty fried chickens!! Kid-friendliness: High chair available. Friendly staff. Parking space for stroller. Great
Enjoyed this place very much! The portion sizes are huge! I would go here again
Nice casual pub style korean chicken place with good selection of korean fried chicken and other dishes. I liked their assorted katsu as well (of course, being a fried food place). Tteokbokki was great with cheese and calamari toppings. It was on a tad bit on the spicy side for me. Green onion and the sweet soy sauce went so well together with the chicken
Recommend visiting this restaurant with friends or family. Dont come alone. Their portion is huge.
I took 5 kids that are 10 years old down to 6 years old here for lunch and it was fabulous, high quality food! We really enjoyed the French fries, pork gyoza, fried octopus balls, and fried chicken. The service was excellent. Thanks for a memorable lunch, Oz!
Everything was extremely tasty. Great service as well! I highly recommend the snowy Korean fried chicken
Excellent! Ordered two dishes of chicken and cold noodles. The fried chicken was probably the best I had; crisp, juicy, but not greasy. There were lots of fresh vegetables in the sides. The place is open late convenient for Northern Coquitlam residents and it has a nice vibe on the inside.
Surprisingly good. We were planning to bike back to Lougheed area for Korean food, since its more known as a Korean hub. But we were hungry after Traboulay trail so we went here. We liked everything we ordered. Service was good as well. We are not in the area so not sure when we can be back, but definitely we will spread the words about this place.
My hubby and I have eaten here multiple times and the food never disappoints.
was good! had the dabak, katsu and the spicey cold noodle. all were pretty darn good! service was pleasant. cant complain! will come back. great job!
We love this place good customer service and the food is good!
They were really nice and the portions were big
Very juice chicken, highly recommended
Good chicken. Worth eating once in a while. But the other stuff on their menu seem a bit pricey for the quality and portion.
Ok for a quick family dinner.
The tenderloin pork cutlet was really delicious and soft. The taste of Dakgalbi was somewhat different from Korea, but it was still edible.
Fantastic as always. Always an essential part of our spa day
Omg. The korean chicken combo here is so delicious.
Does it cost to smile? Terrible service.
Has really good chicken, beer and soups. Good price for what you get. Staff are nice and place is clean. Wait and seating time is pretty fast and the food and service overall is really good. I recommend going if you like korean fried chicken!
Good food, good price. It gets pretty busy so come early, and parking is very limited as well. Food
SO FREAKING GOOD GO HERE IF YOU LIKE CHICKEN
Do NOT take out just eat in for better experience!
High quality. Friendly services
Fried chicken is delicious! Servers are ok. Can be better tho. Tried the pork bone soup, highly recommended as a hangover medicine!
Because there are oysters in the jjamppong, the soup is richer and more delicious. I highly recommend it. Seasoned chicken half and half fried chicken I also packed kimchi fried rice and it was really delicious.
Good value, especially compared to the area.
Quality Korean fast food at good prices. Only complained is fried food does hey a bit tiring but their breading and tenderness is phenomenal.
The food is fantastic. Even my picky eater loves it. Its now a family favourite. I have ordered a few times and everything is great.
Had the snow cheese and the soy garlic. The snow cheese tastes like macaroni powder but the chicken was good overall. The tteokbokki was more spicy than other places but was still my favourite thing to eat here.
I always go here with my friends! Their food is delicious. If you come in a large group, you should order the Katsu Platter or Chicken Platter, as it honestly makes the ordering process much easier. The service is great too, as well as the atmosphere. I like that the lights are a bit dimmed down because it creates a bit of a cozy feeling. Strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious traditional Korean food!
Best Korean fried chicken I ve had. Tried the onion cream - unique! And the Dduckbokki was a nice spice with cheese. And the donkatsu was perfectly breaded and fried. We did cheese and tenderloin.
Its a small little place. We had Half and half dish. The sweet chilli chicken is my favorite. it was delicious and is a must try. I have already been there twice. People and service is good there. 30$ with tip. I highly recommend OZ.
I had dinner here with friends in July. We ordered the chicken platter to share and it did not disappoint! We also ordered side dishes of rice. The server was amazing, making sure we had what we needed but not rushing us as we sat and talked after finishing our meal. Our meal was so good that I ended up coming back for lunch the next day with my daughters.
I went in while looking for a restaurant to eat dinner and it was so delicious!! The staff is friendly too. The chicken was especially delicious Recommend chickens It was so good!! You should try the cream onion chicken. It won t be disappointed! Definitely I will be back.
Delicious Korean food and fried chicken. The portions are large. It is recommended to dine with more than three people. You can order different dishes. The rice cakes are marked with a chili pepper but it is a bit too spicy. It is recommended to add cheese. If you cut the green onions of the padak fried chicken, It would be better to be more detailed; it is not easy to park near the restaurant, there are only paid parking spaces on the roadside, otherwise you have to park at the mall and then walk over.
Wicked good Korean food, the spicy chicken soup is just drool worthy, fried chicken is awesome, japchai is also amazing and so is the kimchi fried rice
