This time we ordered chicken quesadilla with yam fries, dragon bowl, crispy fried chicken burger, blackened chicken with bacon Alfredo pasta and crispy ginger beef. Taste was great. All the dipping sauces were good too.

My steak was cold and under cooked , it was super busy but at the end of the day when Im paying 60$ for a steak it needs to be hot and perfect

Never disappoints, local and easy to get to. Good food selection and drinks as well.

One of my favorite places to visit in Coquitlam! The only suggestion I have is to consider updating the menu soon. Ive been coming for many years, and the menu has stayed the same. Looking forward to seeing some fresh options. Cheers! Food

Visiting Vancouver from Ontario Canada..staying at vrbo in Coquitlam..found Browns Socialhouse during online search.. Was perfect for us..had steak and pasta first time..went back a second time and had steak and pasta and steak frites.. so good.. happy we found this spot! Great service and friendly staff..went around 3 and 4 in afternoon..not very busy..nice and quiet.

Awesome place for a hang out! Good food and drinks. Crispy cauliflower is my fav here!

I go to this location all the time and I love it. Every server Ive had here has been exceptionally friendly, the atmosphere is perfect, and the food is always great. Its a perfect place to unwind.

They seemed short staffed, so its hard to say if this is the norm. It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. Another 15 minutes to put in our order. The smokehouse burger was delicious. The fries are not great - sort of crispy, but so saturated in grease it makes for an unpleasant experience. The Bellini is a frozen drink (not what I expected, and the menu doesnt specify that either), but it was pretty tasty. Their old fashioned is pretty good, and they make it strong, so 3 stars instead of 2. We probably wont be back. Maybe your experience will be better.

Their social hour (3-6pm & 9-Close) is my FAVOURITEEEE. Discounted appys and drinks always taste good, but even better when you re at Browns.

Much more affordable than Cactus Club and within walking distance from Coquitlam Centre. Good happy hour and great fried chicken ramen! I wish they served proper pints though. Patio isnt that great with smokers right on the street, but it is one of the only ones in the area.

Had steak here with family, was good. Clean building and bathroom, friendly staff. Would definitely return. Ty

Good place to watch a game. The food is really good. I especially enjoy the nachos, pasta and drinks. My Mom loves the Thai chicken soup.

Ordered delivery and it was awesome.

Went here for drinks after an event, group of 8 of us. We got a table without issue, however it took a while for us to have our order taken. Plus, the food (which was great and arrived timely) arrived first before any of our drinks arrived at the table - we waited 30 minutes for beers. There was no shortage of wait staff.

Good place for happy hour...drink choices and a couple of appies. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My daughter & I had one of the bowls, no yogurt placed on top. My daughter said the chicken was burnt, Waitress was very pleasant. I was pleased that the music wasnt blaring like before. Vegetarian options: I had the tofu vegie dish. Very good.

Its Browns. The food is always excellent. Service was amazing. Many are not aware of the free underground parking available for customers. Rated 4 stars as no tap feature for payment. Only options to insert or swipe . Pay by phone feature not available.

The meals were good, I had the Dragon Bowl with crispy tofu and it was fantastic. We found the noise level very high and it is a very crowded restaurant. The tables are as close together as possible. They were sorting and polishing cutlery then tossing them in a bin right beside us! Rude and noisy. Would go to another location to eat because I think the food was good, but not this location because of the careless regard for customers, noise and crowding. We had an issue with our order tonight and the Manager/Owner named Michael was absolutely no help. He blamed the entire mistake on Skip the Dishes but it wasn t their fault at all. The restaurant made the wrong meal and he took no responsibility for the mistake.

I go there for the nachos and dynamite sushi salad. Its comfortable, has a variety of food options and drinks are reasonable. Oh - and the ores cheesecake jar is delish

I was disappointed by the taste and presentation of the food I tried on Friday evening. May drink wasn t good either! I literally had couple bites and left the remaining. I ve Tri same dish in other locations, it was much better.

Steaks were semi cold , chicken wings look over cooked or left overs heated up. Veggies over cooked as well . Service was ok but food not great .

Amazing date night for me and my girlfriend

We loved our experience & food, while celebrating a friend s birthday at this place! Our servers were amazing and most of all, Emily was absolutely incredible and kind when serving us. The food is great and fresh, the management is very well and overall a 10/10 experience!

Been there last week, great cozy place but this time ordered hot chicken wings it was different than before, it was not crispy and all the wings were bloody so disgusting, the waiter asked me how is ur food at start which I didnt start yet and I said its ok also their POS Machine Tips start at 25% - %20 which encourages ppl to add that much at the end which u simply could choose other, percentage and add %10 or a fixed amountnt.

My brother and I went for dinner, got greeted and sat at a booth. Our server was Leah, very energetic and fun, was a pleasure, she made the whole experience! Food was great! Will be back!

Our server lady was awesome. Polite attentive let us have our privacy Wheelchair accessibility: I had my wheeled walker and was able to eat at the table with it.

Food was fine, but a little pricey for what you get. Service wasnt bad, just wasnt great. Servers barely checked in to see if we needed anything and it took a very long time to get things like a dessert menu, or the bill to be paid. It wasnt even that busy. Atmosphere was okay if you like really dark interiors. Overall: not bad, but not great

Browns is very consistent no matter which one you go to. Love their Thai chicken soup and the calamari with deep fried jalapeños are delicious. Never had a bad experience with Browns from all over Alberta to the Lower Mainland in BC Kid-friendliness: We had kids with us and there were no issues having them.

I have been coming to Browns for years and it is still good. The food is good an priced accordingly. It is a comfortable place to have a drink or a meal. The menu is a little stale. In fact, since COVID, they reduced the options and theres nothing interesting or new for years now. The service is fine. Again, still a good place to eat and drink. I recommend the French dip or steak frites.

Weve been going to this location ever since we moved to the neighborhood. Inconsistent food but good most of the time. We decided to not go back for a while after our last visit on May 12. Anytime we get the chubby waitress in glasses, the service is horrible... Shes always slow so we see our food sitting on the counter for 10-15 minutes while shes nowhere to be found and she repeatedly forgets the order she just took so comes back multiple times. Really, in situations like this, the tips should be $0 but during the last happy hour visit, we still tipped $20 for the chefs and instead of self-reflecting, she shows her coworker the receipt and openly complains about the tips she did not deserve in the first place. Were generous tippers (20% by default, 25-30% when the service is amazing), too, so this rare incident left a bad taste in our mouths.

Super personable, friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff (trying to avoid egg, dairy, gluten, and orange). Emily and Leah were especially great in helping me find some options that worked. Thanks all! Things that would make it a 5 star: more information on their website for those with allergies and sensitivities (such as dairy), better wine options, having gluten-free soy sauce as an option or making their soy sauce all gluten free, offering vegan cheeses as an add on. Dietary restrictions: They were able to accomodate me trying to avoid egg, dairy, gluten, orange, cranberry and nuts (options with minimal adjustments: cowboy chicken salad without feta or croutons or burger with ketchup, bacon, and a gluten free bun and an adjusted side salad) but Browns could easily have more allergy friendly options or substitutes and ingredient information on the website to help plan. Parking: Paid lot and street parking around, street parking can get busy / full

Nothing special just another chain.

We usually order for take out. This evening I had a great chat with the Manager Michael. I forgot to tell him he has the best calamari in the area. Our meals are alway hot by the time we get home and the taste of the food is exceptional. I guess this is why we keep on coming back time after time. Dietary restrictions: Being diabetic I look for meals that will help to stabilize my glucose levels. Parking: I able able to find a spot close to the restaurant.

Good food and great selection

Stefano was really good and was a lot of fun to have. He was telling us about his theory s and meaning to life. I would definitely comeback to listen to his philosophies and political stances.

Absolutely love the food options love that they could customize it as per your instructions. The waitress was extremely nice and she went out of the way for exceptional service. The vibe is very cheerful and makes you want to stay longer, except it closes by 12! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan option are plenty. They are willing to work with you on your choice of foods.

I liked this location. The fries we had with our fish were almost burned- yet good. The service was great. Our waitress was super kind. The atmosphere- on the quieter side with tvs on. I recommend this place.

Browns Socialhouse Coquitlam was good! I had a fantastic time with my friend and the food was perfect. The inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and friendly service made our visit truly memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Highly recommended for a delicious meal and a great time with friends!

The food was very good and service excellent. However, do not try to use e-gift cards here. We had $120 of gift cards to use but when we came to pay the bill were told they could not currently accept them due to an issue with their system. That left me with an unexpected $135 bill. Not the staffs fault (they were excellent) but the company that sells the gift cards through the Browns website were no help, just saying all sales were final and to use the cards in a different restaurant or online.

Been there a few times now to have a pint and a bite after the gym. The service is rushed and noticed they were serving flat drinks that evening, will be going to Cactus Club from now on.

We love brunch on Saturday because is not busy, and the food comes quick to your table, they open 11 am and we always book a reservation but never found it busy, after 12 pm start to get busy even the bar side. We love steak and eggs, avocado toast or any pouched breakfast. Find more attractive this place for brunch/breakfast rather lunch or dinner.

the only thing that I do not like about this (and cactus club too) is that they only offer 12oz beers as opposed to somewhere like redrobin restaurants that offer a 20oz beer (as well as 14oz which is standard sleeve size). 12oz is such a bad number that 1 beer is almost never enough so you almost always end up ordering 2 beers at minimum.

We had home delivery this time, but any Browns I have eaten have always been great!

A rare dog friendly patio. Although it s small so I ve only been during quiet times. Not sure why Browns in Guildford doesn t allow dogs.

The food is great, their kitchen seem to be overloaded on Friday nights though. Wait times are long. But they dont compromise the quality of their food.

These days I m visiting here almost once a week One of its advantages is the variety of drinks, making it a great place to go with friends. In particular, the YAM FRIES is my favorite, it s really well prepared and the match the chipotle sauce is fantastic. Plus, all staffs are extremely friendly.

food is good. its a basic overpriced chain - but it delivers what you would expect. the bartender/manager here is super friendly and sweet. the clientele that seems to frequent this location seems more down-to-earth than their other locations.

Pretty good, cozy spot, good staff. Thanks to the 2pm bartender guy who serves me a Disaronno when I stop by with the Chopper.

Went there for a casual dinner with my wife. Asked for lemon water, got served plain water. Had to ask for lemon 3 times before it arrived on our table. Ordered nachos but no side plates were given. Had to ask for those as well. Then ordered butter chicken (substitute with Tofu and cauliflower) but got served chicken. Yet, the server had the attitude of not coming to table and apologized. Got attended by other server who then offered to order something else. Got Alfredo pasta and it was all dry and tasteless. Had to just leave with 100% dissatisfaction. Worse browns we have even been. Never going again.

I was there with a friend of mine on Sunday (Nov 6), our servent was sick, cold or whatever doesnt matter i asked her nicely why she showed up when she is sick .. she did not andwer but i am sure that she was not happy to be there and she was told to get to work even she was sick i did not say anything to her and we order our mesl but i wont go there anymore cause i dont feel safe there

Great place to grab drinks and appetizers during their social hour (3pm-6pm and 9pm-close). Darker ambiance and light music. Very chill spot to have a drink and catch up with a friend. They have both booth style seating and table style seating. Waitress was very attentive and came over multiple times to check up on us.

Over all I love browns . But the Coquitlam location was pretty bad . The waitress was super nice and on top of things but the food I ordered was discusting . I have ordered this same thing at other locations and its soooo good . But at the Coquitlam location I found it flavourless , put together like somthing u would get at mcdonalds only difference ur paying 15.95 for this burger . I ate half and just left it there didnt even take it home . The blonde manager was very rude when I told her it was discusting . And Im over all upset considering I live right above this browns and I dont feel like going back Ill drive somewhere else if I want browns Update , I was went there one day after work , I didnt even go up to my place yet , I had a burger and water, my card wasnt working when it came to pay , she profiled me so bad, and demanded my cell phone, over a 20$ meal , I said no I need this for work , so she took my divers license , mean while I live in the high rise up stairs . But Im native and she thought the worst of me , I came back the next day with cash and I was expecting an apology but I didnt get one, it was the way she treated me , it seemed like she thought she was better because she was blond and white .. she was very racist thing is I went there all the time but the time I go there and wasnt dressed up or didnt have any makeup on and in work clothes , and I wasnt the only person in work clothes there .. it was sad ,

Very happy with Browns, food scrumptious, order take out for 17:15 and it was ready on time. Next time we will definitely make it a dine in experience. Thank you for your amazing service
