Ordered takeout from this location a few times. Every time their chicken is still nice and crispy after surviving the car ride home. Our favourite is the snow onion chicken, but if you like spicy I would recommend their garlic spicy chicken for a nice kick.

Come to this place relatively frequently as we prefer their chicken over others! Ordered take out recently and they included some fries on the house with our order. Thanks for the gesture!

Overrated Korean Fried chicken.

Rhe best KFC Ive had in the tri cities! Seasoning is perfect, chicken is tender and crispy, cheeky tebokki is absolutely delicious. We had the variety platter and although my friend has some food allergies, the server was able to help us decide which dishes would be safe and was able to instruct the kitchen as well. Friendly, informative, and attentive service too, we Will be coming back for this again.

Food is good, But TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their staff should be in check as one literally said at 11:55pm, 5 mins before closing, Could you please wait outside while your friend comes out from the washroom?! She was racist and rude.

Really disappointed with the service even though the food was awesome, we came an hour before closing and from the beginning the waitress kept rushing us, we still tried to be as nice as possible and ordered and ate as fast as we could even though the food arrived 15 minutes before closing. However she asked us to leave even before the restaurant closing time, one of our friends was still inside the washroom but we still complied. Overall it was an unpleasant experience and would not go back to this branch.

I love Korean chicken and found this place on Google. After reading the reviews, I thought I would give this place a try. I got my food delivered and was a little disappointed. Not only was the food cold, but there was quite a bit of batter in the CM Fried Chicken. For the price, I expected more meat. I also bought the spicy and ginger soy chicken, those were pretty good. We also got the spicy rice cakes, which tasted pretty bland. They were cold, undercooked with hardly no sauce. I dont recommend this place if youre looking for good korean chicken.

Best deep fried chicken, Ive ever had.

I ordered half the seasoning, but the portion was so small and only the chicken pieces were visible, so I thought it was a joke. How many pieces are there? Its too much to do. Everything is wrapped in batter so the meat doesnt get chewed. I thought there was fried chicken skin. Im leaving a review because Im so upset after eating it. Ordered the curry and soy garlic green onion fried chicken, it was crispy, moist and super flavourful. Restaurant and restrooms are clean. Service is exceptional! Pricing is good value for what you get. I would come back and recommend for your Korean fried chicken cravings.

Ordered this Soy Sauce Green Onion fried chicken from DoorDash. Very crispy battered chicken topped with savoury soy sauce and the onion adds a bit of spice to it. A little bit too sweet for us but it s totally fine and up to personal preference. Thanks for making us nice late night snacks :) will order again

Had a friend recommend CM Chicken and I wanted to treat my mom for international womens day, so what a great reason to try! I ordered through SkipTheDishes for pickup and the order was made accordingly and promtly. I got there and pickup was quick and easy. When I got home the chicken was piping hot and oh so crispy! We ordered the soy garlic boneless (sauce on side) and original bone-in. The batter is light and doesnt feel oily at all, while still providing great crunch to each bite. I didnt notice it being listed as spicy, but the delicious soy garlic sauce did pack some spice to it. Portions are reasonable for the price and packaging is well thought through (extra aluminum foil on the bottom to prevent oil soaking through, not that there was much oil from the chicken). Overall a great experience, hope to try dine in next time!

Parboiled Whole Squid: the dish came with a small salad, and the squid was fresh and parboiled perfectly. Garlic Soy Chicken (Boneless, small): I really liked this garlic-soy glaze. It s sweet and salty (in my opinion) and the chicken is tender and crunchy. Well made. Service: the servers were excellent. They asked me if I needed a pair of chopsticks, asked if everything was okay, and provided extra napkins when I needed it without me asking. It was a great experience. Thank you CM chicken!

The food was really fresh and very tasty. Even the pickled radish that I usually leave for the wife was really good. I asked for another serving. We had the half order of cheese monster and half order of spicy garlic, both boneless. We also had the rice cake skewers. We arrived during the happy hour and were given a side of cheese fries for free, they were also very tasty and perfectly fried. The servings were large and we couldnt finish it all in one sitting. The staff were very polite and accommodating. They even brought us some hot water to warm our babies bottle when ours had gone cold. Thankfully our little one stayed quiet and didnt annoy the other guests. The location is well spaced and has a modern feel. They also have physical menu which I appreciate. Music wasn t playing loud and I could talk to my wife without issues.

By far the best chicken in Coquitlam! I always forget to take a photo since I want to inhale it right away. Food always comes out super fast and is extremely fresh. Delicious Korean fried chicken and they have a deal going on for free snow fries if you order between 2:00-5:00 pm. I ordered a takeout curry fried chicken half size at the restaurant and the take out box was full of fried chicken and every bite was very flavourful. It took only 15 minutes to pick up the chicken after working. It wasn t very busy inside the restaurant when I went on Tuesday evening. There is plenty of parking as it s located within a plaza.

Im on an ongoing quest to find some of the best Korean fried chicken in the lower mainland and CM Chicken is DELICIOUS! Definitely in my top 3 choices. We got the 5 type variety combo and we enjoyed each and every single one. Of all the options from the variety combo, our favourite flavours were the Snow Onion and Spicy Garlic chicken. The Snow Onion one was so full of flavour and the sauce was wonderful, and it didnt downplay the texture. It isnt the normal pile of snow cheese that you might expect from other Korean fried chicken places, so I prefer CM Chickens version! The Spicy Garlic closely resembled the yangyum options that youd find at other fried chicken joints. It had a lovely dynamic flavour and was such a treat to have. Between two people, the variety pack was way more than we needed, and we both took home leftovers. In terms of texture, it is light, flaky, not too heavy on the batter, and the right amount of crunch. I found myself nibbling on the little crumbs left behind. Even after taking home leftovers it was still pretty darn good. As an added bonus, it was happy hour and normally they give you free fries, but our combo already had fries - so they offered us the choice of rice cake skewers instead, which we gratefully accepted. They were a bit chewier than I hoped but still delicious nonetheless - plus it was free! The staff were attentive and friendly. We came in right after a large booking left so it took a few min to get a spot ready, but it was understandable and they worked quickly to get us a spot. The atmosphere is pleasant; not too obnoxious, not too loud. Also as an added bonus - and Ive never come across this at another Korean fried chicken restaurant - they gave us our own plates and mini tongs at the start to pick from the big platter of chicken! I have never come across mini tongs so that was cool. 11/10 would come back again to demolish more chicken.

My girlfriend and I went here on a Sunday evening because of all the amazing reviews but unfortunately it wasn t as good as we expected The Food: Ordered Korean army stew and 1/2 order of snow + spicy garlic chicken and thought it was quite pricey but we ordered anyways. The chicken was crispy but half of it was batter and was also cold/warm (I assume the sauce was refrigerated) and the korean army stew made both of us extremely bloated until the next day (I eat this frequently and normally it doesn t). The Service: Additionally, although we were 1 of the only 2 groups eating at the time (later more customers came), the servers never checked on us. We had to go up to the front counter to request things twice (e.g., water and napkins). Maybe this is a one-off bad experience but ours was such.

I praise the owner of Chungmung Chicken for allowing me to experience the authentic taste of chicken that touches the heart of this Busan man.

I am so glad to have found this place. We ordered their Snow Onion chicken, Garlic Spicy Chicken, and rice cake skewers. The chicken was perfectly fried, crunchy on the outside with moist chicken inside. The accompanying sauces were perfect. It was so SO good. The server was thoughtful enough to also give us a side of their spicy sauce and it was a perfect dip for the snow chicken and fries. Service was great. We look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant was very clean, had great service, and most importantly, the food was delicious! I had their snow onion chicken (my favourite), spicy rice cake, fries, and oden soup, which were all really good. I liked how the chicken was unique compared to other places, and they felt very fresh. I am definitely coming back and I cant wait to try their other menus!

I ordered 3 recommended menu items and ate them. The seasoned chicken was delicious, but I dipped the fried chicken in white sauce and it was so delicious that it reminded me of Korea. I think Ill have to wait in line to eat, so I recommend going often in advance. Check the opening times in advance.

The store is very new and clean. My hubby and I went there around 7:45-8:00pm at night. No other customer was there, except seeing some people coming in for take outs. They have the physical menu and online menu that can be scanned or tapped. The server speaks English. We ordered the Snow Onion Chicken and Garlic Spicy Chicken. It comes with a small plate of sour white radish. The portion is in good size and the chickens are very crispy. It will be better if it s served with beer. Will order again for different flavours and they also offer combo plates for 3-4 people to enjoy. Parking: Be aware of some parking space is available for only 30 minutes, but the marking on floor can barely see.

The food is tasty and good value for your money ..too bad the service isn t as good unless you re Asian as I ve gone four times and this is how I feel not being Asian! The restaurant was 90% Asian and not that there is a problem with that, yet I didn t appreciate making to feel as if I was an outsider. When I asked questions to the server, who has served me three times out of the four, about the menu she didn t know anything and couldn t make any suggestions and came across as annoyed for me asking! I was ordering takeout and I asked her how long it would take and everything she said was way longer than it actually takes and to be honest, that could turn any customer off from ordering takeout, considering there are many other great restaurants within the same area. In the end, I had to ask her to check with the kitchen, and the chef said the order would take half the time than she said it would! No apologies or anything. And then as she was taking my order, dropped me when a young Asian woman walked up to the counter to pay her bill!! How rude and again no apologies or explanations. It s too bad and unacceptable as they should serve all their customers equally and with respect and politeness. When I asked the server for her name as they don t wear nameplates, she refused to say her name and when I asked for the manager s name, she replied that they don t have a manager. WOW!! I m writing this review as my intentions are for the owner to know about a few of the poor staff s attitudes and how this particular staff young woman doesn t care about the owner s customers. The food is good and tasty, yet if you re not Asian or with someone Asian it ll be a gamble about the service! I wish them the very best of luck!

This is my 3rd visit. My favorite chickens are snow onion and lemon green onion. I think the toppings take away the greasy taste of the fries. Tteokbokki and salted fried food are a perfect match. We also take this out and give it to children as snacks. They changed from opening at 4 oclock to opening at 2 oclock. I think its better. The store was clean and nice, and the servers were friendly. I will try other menu items and write another review.

I ordered the triple combo, which allows me to try a variety of flavors. It was nice to have tteokbokki too. I was able to enjoy the spicy, sweet, and soy sauce flavors of the crispy chicken mixed with the seasoning. It was even better when eaten with onions. The steamed egg custard was delicious~~

I have had all sorts of Korean Fried Chicken from Vancouver to Surrey. And this by far, is the best Fried Chicken I have had in a long time. The Terra Beer was also so good, pairs with the chicken really well. So worth the drive from Surrey. If you are looking to get your moneys worth and get your cravings sated thoroughly, this is the place to be.
