Usually a fan of Joey, but this location was a let down. Came for a business lunch. 10 minute wait for a table, even though the place was only about 50% full. Then after the 4 of us ordered, food took close to an hour to come, and it seemed like it had been sitting around for a bit.

Lighting was a little dark. The time clock should have been 30 minutes later.

Our waitress Ailin was so kind and generous. I enjoyed my time here and I will be definitely be back here.

Shaelyn & Madysen provided superior service and the night was amazing.

Me and my group had a great time, it was our company party and Shaelyn was our server and was fantastic, she worked hard and kept up with our orders, very pleased. FYI the food was amazing!

Our server was named Island and she was really kind and attentive. The food was great and they gave us extras for waiting - champagne - top notch service!

Her attentiveness and cheerful demeanor made the evening even more memorable. Updated Review: Returned here for another work function. I ordered the same dish as last time but this most of the group ordered dessert. we had the apple pie. although I would never order this on my own only because of the price (insane ) it was tasty. The only negative whike we were getting eating our dessert they basically reminded us / asked us to kind of go as there was a limit to being there which I thought was extremely rude and unbelievable given the fact we were easily a $500.00 - $600.00 table if not more (large table with several appetizers and all main courses plus beverages and wine and the aforementioned dessert which was $15.00+ a pop.) they could have left us alone for another 30 mins or so at that point we would have been done. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Went there for a work lunch. we were seated quickly. food and atmosphere were great!

We had a memorable evening at Joey Coquitlam celebrating my grandmother s 93rd birthday. We were greeted with glasses of champagne and a warm welcome, which set the perfect tone for the night. Our server, Lexi B., was sweet and attentive, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. To start, we shared the roasted corn guacamole and mini mushrooms, both of which were great. For drinks, I ordered the She Pretty, and she truly was both pretty and delicious. My mum had the Cajun blackened chicken and thought it was incredible, as always. My great-aunt and boyfriend both chose the herb-crusted salmon, which they thoroughly enjoyed. My grandma, the birthday beauty, opted for the steak and ravioli duo. While the ravioli was delicious, the steak was sadly quite chewy, which was disappointing. I went with the crispy tofu paired with a side of their famous crispy mashed potatoes. The potatoes were fantastic as always, but the tofu was so spicy I couldn t eat it. It s frustrating when vegetarian dishes are overpowered by heat it feels unnecessary, especially when there are so many ways to enhance plant-based flavors without masking them. For dessert, we shared a trio of treats: the baked apple pie, which was fabulous, the chocolate cake, which was rich and indulgent, and the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was absolutely scrumptious. The standout, though, was the warm Italian donuts the staff brought out for my grandmother, complete with a candle and a handwritten Happy 93rd Birthday! card. It was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that made her feel celebrated and loved. Thank you, Joey Coquitlam, for making her special day even more unforgettable! Vegetarian options: While they do offer variety of vegetarian options, many dishes are heavily spiced, which might not appeal to everyone. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance and easy parking available right out front. Its a convenient option for those requiring mobility support.

First time dinning here. Enjoyed every part of it. Food was really good. I got the Steak and Sushi with the Seared Salmon. Definitely reccomend! The wife got the Steak and Shrimp Rav. Also good but I we both choose the Steak and Sushi over it. The Miso Mushroom we started with with extremely good and perfectly done. Over all, we definitely enjoyed our dining experience here at Joey Coquitlam and our server Brock made the whole experience better by continuing to refill waters right away and checking in with his polite and good customer service. We will be back for sure!

We were treated like a VIP for a birthday family eat-out. The complimentary champagne was a nice touch right off the bat. The service was great with each waiting staff weve met trying to demonstrate that they care about our dining experience. One of our steaks was too well-done for a medium and lets just say the staff compensated us more than we were entitled to, to the point that we felt ashamed. Kudos to them for trying to go above and beyond for the customer. Its a rarity these days.

While I do enjoy the drinks here, I rarely come for the food, as I ve consistently had disappointing experiences with its quality. Additionally, I strongly recommend checking your receipt against your order. This is the third time I ve found discrepancies between what I ordered and what was billed. While the staff were friendly and accommodating during the first and most recent occasions, the second time was a completely different story. It turned into a difficult argument to prove their mistake, which made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable. Attention to detail and consistent customer service would significantly improve the overall experience.

This is a prime example of businesses gone wrong !! We used to go here often and service used to be good. Food used to be good and although on the higher end of pricing it was always worth it.... Not today!! Many members of my family chose this place to have my mother-in-laws 98th birthdaylunch there. It was an absolute disaster and they ruined our experience, which is unfortunate when it is such an important person in our life that were doing this for... The service was pathetic and dirty dishes sat on the table during the whole time that we were there and nobody came to clear the table and we had to ask for the table to be cleared and we had to take the dirty Plates off the table... glasses were being knocked over because there were so many of them on the table. And those never got cleared. One glass broke and they didnt even take the pieces of glass off the table. When we were ready to go, we had to ask for the bill which took approximately 15 minutes . And I had to get-up-and-go and ask for the manager who was nicely talking to the hostess joking around and having a good time instead of helping the server who was doing our table.and totally overwhelmed. Bottom line.. once beaten twice shy !! never again, !! if you have an important occasion that you want to make sure that it goes smoothly and turns out nice.... Dont choose this place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. !!

Came here for a quiet dinner on a Sunday for my wife s birthday. Food was good but writing this review to highlight our server. Madysen was so personable and very kind. Madysen was super helpful and genuine and deserves a lot of praise. Even though she was super busy she was never frazzled and did an amazing job.

I had such a wonderful experience at Joeys today with my friends. The service was fantastic, we were immediately seated and the staff were so friendly and kind, getting orders in quickly. I highly recommend coming here for a fun afternoon with friends and I will be coming back especially with how lovely we were treated by the bar manager Jai!

My fiancé and I have recently engaged. The whole front of house staff signed a card for us, we were astonished. GM Brittney offered us a bottle of sparkling wine and two managers, Jai & Jessie, made sure everything was perfect and congratulated us. I WOULD LIKE TO SHUT OUT our server, MADYSEN! She made us feel welcomed and served us with genuine care throughout the night. Looking forward to come back here for more occasions and even just casual dine out for great service and food.

Just average. Everything was overpriced and the amount was small. Service was good but not worth it. Also no calamari or nachos on the menu or jugs of beer (which for a pub style is WEIIRD)

We always go Tuesdays for the wonderful staff. We always sit in the lounge and the Bar Manager Jai always makes us feel welcome. The bar team makes great drinks and are always friendly.

What an amazing experience we had this evening. We had a group of ten and our server Terra was the best! She was very attentive from the moment we sat down to when we left. Definitely will be back for sure. Also the complementary sparkling wine was a bonus. Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu. Good portions and my son loves the spaghetti

One of Joeys better locations. Foods pretty good, drinks could be a tad less sweet but not a biggie. Service was excellent though, even on a busy weekend night, super attentive. Akila was our server, respect the hustle!
