I remember when this Mr Mikes Used to Be its flagship restaurant. Was a little disappointed that they didnt have the apple martini that I used to have eons ago. Fortunately the bacon mushroom burger Frys and gravy were still outstanding.

Good quality food at reasonable prices. Location is convenient with plenty of free parking nearby.

So many people just dont know what theyre missing by never having had a Mike Burger. Theyre like no other burger out there! Big juicy beef Patty, that special Mike sauce with cheddar stuffed in a french loaf... Amazing. my family gets together at the Coquitlam location every year to celebrate in memory my dads birthday as this was his favorite restaurant. Its always clean, always very friendly and prompt service, and always delicious. Great food for a great price.

Burgers and chicken tenders are good. Plates can be quite hot, so be careful as they dont usually inform you of this. Servers are friendly, but service can be a tad slow sometimes. Ive never seen it busy in there, usually only 2 or 3 tables occupied. I will be back, and I do recommend

First time there and have driven past it for years. Food was awesome with happy hour specials for all palates including my daughters (she is in her picky stage). Our server was wonderful as were all the others that checked in on us throughout the meal. Enough food to take some home for layer too. Will be back

I cant give any more information as we were sitting at our table for half an hour and nobody even came to check on us once. Very disappointed as we used to come here all the time and loved it. After watching several people get seated and served almost immediately, I finally had enough and we decided to leave. We let them know on our way out. This is likely going to affect whether or not I go back. We didnt even get an opportunity to flag down a server from another table because they left the other tables so quickly they didnt see us.

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had. To start, we had to wait for a booster seat for my 2-year-old. Despite making eye contact with the server several times, she completely ignored us. After several minutes, I had to flag down the manager, who finally agreed to bring a booster seat, though the lack of urgency was frustrating. Once seated, we were greeted by a server chewing gum hardly the level of professionalism I expect. When the food arrived, it was disappointing. The kids sliders were served on hard ciabatta buns, making them almost inedible. The kids menu options were subpar at best. Our steaks were overcooked, tough, and not prepared as we d requested, though we didn t complain out of hunger. To top it off, the order was wrong. We originally came here because The Keg was closed, but after this experience, we will never return. I m honestly surprised this place has been in business for as long as it has.

I eat here weekly and I just think their foods the best their prices are fair and the service is wonderful thank you. Dolores Parking: Coquitlam restaurant has unlimited free parking as well as handicap

This is our go to place when were feeling like having a decent steak or a burger. Sure, its no Keg but the food has been consistent and generally on the mark for the price level. Occasionally, it can get loud some nights in the lounge and that, combined with the omnipresent muzak, unwelcomingly spills over into the dining room. The servers have always been cheery, helpful and honest with their mistakes so thats a big plus in our dining experience.

My husband and I were at Mr. Mikes a few weeks ago and want to mention how wonderful our waitress was. I do not remember her name but her necklace said Kiki. Definitely 5 star service. Update: Went to Mr Mikes about a month and half ago and it was quiet not their usual rush time. We were the only ones in the lounge besides 2 ladies/girls at the bar. They were extremely loud and laughed that the people in the restaurant section could hear. I looked at my husband and we just rolled our eyes. It was very rude. But was shocked when they finished they got up and put their plates and cutlery in the back and were behind the bar. I realized they were staff members that must have finished their shift. I was shocked that the manager that was doing his paperwork in the corner did not mentioned them to be quieter. it was very disruptive and working in a restaurant they should know better than to disrupt the other people in the restaurant. The service was good, the food was the same but a lot more $$$ than it use to be but that is the same everywhere you go now but the atmosphere was a 0 due to the girls at the bar. I have not been back.

Now this place was surprisingly still great after all these years! I went there twice - once for a steak, once for their happy hour. Neither disappointed me. Awesome food, awesome happy hour (try their lobster dip.....omg good). Cheap beer too!

Was a nice place. Seat was ripped which was odd in such an otherwise well looked after place. Chicken bites were dry and over cooked. The margarita had an odd taste. But the service was good, ribs were great and the place was clean.

Best way to break a fast!

I remember a time when I really liked Mr. Mikes and their food. Not so much now since most of the aspects of their chain has declined significantly.

Ordered Sirloin steak and expected it to be small which it was but at least it could have been delicious but nope, this steak was unseasoned and way too chewy for a medium rare. Ordered a lime slushie margarita and the amount of salt in the drink made it unpalatable. We heard it was a bartender in training so I can t harp on her that bad but come on this is a steakhouse , and you guys don t have good steak.

I did not love the food personally. It was extremely salty and too much spices for my taste. The ingredients didn t seemed fresh for some reason. However the staff was friendly and accommodating, even though it was late and they were 35mins from closing. It wasn t a bad experience, is just the food I think is not for me

Appetizer was good. The steak tasted Good, but they dont know how to cook the steak the way customer order. The vegetables on the side tasted not good. I feel the Restaurant has gone down from when I was there before.

Service was ok- We were a table of 12 eaters and unfortunately the Kickass Chicken Salad was not. Running thin dressing not at all what I receive from every other Mr Mikes. My understanding is it should consistent at all locations. I was looking forward to it all day. Extremely disappointed. Also at that location they serve Liptons Tea products. They are inexpensive and flavorless. Especially when you get the wrong one. Camomile is not Mint.. Struggle was real. I will stick to Farro Power Bowl at White Spot. #mrmikeschilliwackonly

the atmosphere is very nice, and the service is sweet. But the food is quite disappointing. The amount of food is much smaller than other same style restaurants. I ordered a medium rare steak, but it came as a medium well. My friend ordered a beef dip, but the sandwich was very small. Me and my friend paid a total of $75, but neither of us was satisfied with the food. We are not big stomach eater. The waitress heard us and brought some fris which is very nice. But probably wont come again.

Waitress was nice. Chicken Tenders were one of the worst Chicken Tenders I have ever eaten in my life. I have eaten many bad Chicken Tenders, and these Chicken Tenders have just taken first place for being the worst Chicken Tenders. Cheesecake was nice. Fries were nice. Those Chicken Tenders are unforgivable.

Wasn t enjoyable. The chicken tenders were all dough no chicken, no flavour in their burgers, the cheesecake wasn t the best, even the mashed potatoes weren t ideal. Overall disappointed. The servers were nice, but they had forgotten two items from our order. One star. Do better.

We came for dinner. I really enjoyed my meal, steak was cooked just right, and everything I had was great. My wife and daughters both didnt like their meal, but they said the fries were good., I tried a piece of the chicken, and was also dissatisfied., the burger tasted like a cheap frozen patty. I would expect better from a steakhouse. Very expensive. Way overpriced for such a bland, casual meal, nothing fancy here. Should have went to the keg.

We celebrated by nephews birthday here and the staff were amazing. Made sure we had everything we need, cutleries, highchair, and a free dessert for my nephew and my daughter. - Food was good - Price is a bit on the expensive side - The portions are reasonable - Plenty of free parking available in the parking lot Would recommend eating at Mr Mikes in the future for special occasions. Just stopped by for lunch again yesterday. Our server was very nice and friendly. We had the bruchetta to start with and it was awesome. I had the bacon Mike Burger and fries and was very impressed with the quality, my meal arrived at our table nice and hot. Well definitely be back. It was not bad, but for the price I expected more. Steak and salad was not better than Ive eaten around the area for 60% the price. There are much better options in the same price range (60 per person, no drinks).

My family dined in last night. The food tasted great, as always. My concern is their new portion sizing and increased cost with smaller portions. My shaved beef sandwich was only half a beef shaved sandwich. I thought at first it was a lunch portion, Unfortunately, it was not. Then I bit into it, and there was a hair. It was quickly replaced, and they did comp it. $23. Even though it had kettle chips which would have made it an extra $4 on top of the $23. When it came time to pay the first lowest automated tipping option is 18%!!!!! Do they not pay a minimum wage? I asked head office and they didnt say no. They just said sorry you didnt like your experience. We will use this information to do better. Sorry we lost your business, Have a great day. I didnt complain to our server as she was amazing and very apologetic. We also tipped well as Its not her fault Mr. Mikes has forgotten about their customers. Mr. Mikes you can do better.

Save your money! Service staff are great, the food, not so much! Ordered rib eye grass fed steak medium rare. It came medium and was super tough. When I brought it to the managers attention, he argued about it, even though according to their own menu pictorial, it was not done medium rare. The second steak, which took 20 mins to arrive, was better but still tough. These cows must have had a hard life because both cuts were difficult to cut into and even harder to chew and had very little taste. Again, the manager argued with us when we brought it to his attention. He stated our steaks were redone in 10 minutes... Sir, we timed you! The vegetables that came with the meal were sparse, 3 of the skinnier stalks of asparagus (wilted and soaked in what I assume was butter/oil) Ive seen in my life, and 5 chunks of sweet potatoes. On the positive, the wait staff was friendly and apologetic for the quality of food. If youre looking for a good steak I highly suggest you go somewhere else. Youre not going to get that here.

The steak was too dry!! It wasnt seasoned very well too. I ordered a Shrimpin Sirloin Medium well and I struggled to finish it cos it was too dry and I dont want to waste food. But I had enough and didnt finish it. The server even offered me a to go box but I said no Im good. My fiance ordered a Traditional Sirloin Medium Rare and again DRY! It wasnt even medium rare. The veggies that came with it are also dry and over cooked.

I have gone to Mr.Mikes all my life and unfortunately this was one of my most disappointing visits to date. We went on Valentines day as a special treat and could only get late reservations, which was fine. I ordered a new york steak (Med) with panko shrimp and fries, and my husband went for the rib eye (rare) traditional style. Both steaks were woefully undercooked. Mine was rare and if the rib eye had mooed I wouldnt have been surprised. Almost blue rare. The shrimp never arrived either, though I paid for it. Not sure if there is new management there but I seriously doubt I will be visiting again anytime soon. The waitress was pretty good minus not noticing that I didnt get my shrimp. I was so thrown by the steak I didnt click until I got home and was frying my leftover steak. Not happy to have to cook our food after paying well over 100 bucks for it.

Always have loved the Coquitlam Mr Mikes. Girlfriends and I go there whenever we can and they never disappoint with the food and the service. We arrived early for their specials and shared and enjoyed the Bruschetta, Spinach & Artichoke dip and Quesadilla Have a Great Christmas We will see you in the New Year

I want to say how good it was but I cant. The two stars are for our waitress as she was excellent. I ordered the mushroom caps and the skookumchuck chicken burger, they put a tiny drizzle of the pesto aioli on the first couple bites and the rest was void of sauce. It took me a bit to realize I didnt even get asagio cheese, the mushrooms had to be the tiniest little things i have ever seen. My partner ordered the cajun chicken fettuccine pomodoro and it had no flavor at all and the tiny few chicken bites were rubbery, he had a two bites and simply sat there drinking diet coke. My daughter had a New York steak and lobster, she brought most of it home insisting she would eat it later, and her husband whom she just married that same day got crispy panko shrimp and a ribeye steak dip, they said the shrimp were fine and my son in law ate up his little sandwich and was looking around for more food. We used to like it here and I really hope that it will be great again!

The atmosphere is only 1 point down cuz the open concept makes it hard to hear your table when there is another large party. Other than that, enjoyed the get together we had.

Good to see that menu s are changing to suit diners with different approaches to diet. The Keto option for steaks is a solid choice although they miss the mark slightly on the carb load. Remove the onions and tomatoes from the salad and you get closer. Service is outstanding at this location and the steaks were cooked as ordered.

Really good service, our waitresss name was Danni ( I think) and she was so helpful and kind. Prices were reasonable and the food was fabulous . I would definitely recommend going there for lunch. And we had New York Cheesecake for dessert. Really, really tasty .

My friend and I were there earlier this evening and we did not enjoy it. It has steakhouse in the name but I ve had better steaks at non steakhouses and paid less for beer there. $8 for a corona is a little ridiculous when I always pay $6-$6.50 everywhere else. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger and it was a round patty on a rectangle roll which she did not enjoy. The bacon was cooked odd and barely had any taste and the fries were all over the place. My steak was cooked perfectly but they pretty much put the herb and garlic butter on the side of the plate next to the steak instead of on top and the steak didn t taste seasoned at all. I think it s safe to say we won t be going back.

It should be called a burger house because they do not know how to cook steak, and that remark is based on more than one tome eating steak there. Burgers are top notch, steak it tough chewy and never cooked appropriately, the worst thing is is they literally have a steak guide in the menu on how it should look when cooked.

Oh my, we havent been to Mr. Mikes in years, so glad we came for lunch today! My husband had the Bacon Mushroom burger with fries. He loved it, the burger was really good and so were the fries. I had the Rib Eye Steak dip and upgraded the fries to onion rings. It was the BEST steak dip Ive ever had in any restaurant! And, Ive had lots, steak sandwiches are my go-to dish to order! The waitress we had was very efficient and friendly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, nice atmosphere. Cant wait to go there again. Be there soon!!

We came to celebrate a birthday and tried the stuffed mushrooms. It was pretty good. I wanted some steak since it was a steakhouse so decided on the steak salad. My steak was medium rare but it was tough and had lots of tendons parts which was inedible. The seasoning on the steak was great but the salad was extra saucy. Our waitress, I think her name was shaylee was very friendly and super accommodating as some of the party was a little bit more high maintenance and had too much to drink. I brought a cake in and she was getting it ready for us with plates even without me asking. Price point and quality doesn t align so personally I wouldn t visit again. But the service was excellent.

Just stopped in for a bday drink and had the absolute pleasure to have service from shaleigh . This girl is an absolute gem! Personality plus and a fantastic server . I d come back just to be in her presence! The floor manager/ supervisor on shift was incredible too. Personable, funny and made me feel totally welcomed ( you don t always get that as a solo diner honestly) Awesome experience.

Our waiter Gray was so amazing! He made us feel like family. And the absolutely DELICIOUS MEAL!!! Definitely 2 thumbs up!!

We always love me Mikes. I have tried many menu items, and have never been disappointed. We do feel a little rushed when we go there, but overall, great food and atmosphere.

Went to the Cactus Club, but the wait for a table was an hour and a half, so we went to Mr. Mikes instead. Our waiter was very personable, and the service was excellent. Nice assortment of items to choose from on the menu at a reasonable price.

We had seats that allowed us to hear each other talk the appy hour specials were a great deal it was a Birthday so they gave free cake which was best Ive ever had.

Fairly good service. Food comes quick when ordered but sometimes, you dont see the server for awhile once food arrives. if you want a refill or another drink, more napkins, etc. Also when you are done, it can take awhile until the server comes with the bill. When they finally do come with the bill, I am ready to pay and go. They dont bring the debit machine with them. Oh, do you need the machine? you have to wait another few minutes for them to come back with the machine, but in the meantime, they go check on other tables. If the recommendation is to pay with a card and not cash, we should not have to wait for the machine. The one thing I will say is Mr. Mikes has the best sticky toffee pudding out there. Yummm!! No other restaurant compares. Dietary restrictions: My girlfriend is celiac. Im curious what the gluten-free options are.

Everything on the menu tastes great. Burgers and steak are excellent, highly recommend the Chinatown Stirfry. Beers on tap are refreshing, especially the Big Horn Lager.

Amazing service by Teesh!! Appreciated how attentive he was. Our group was there for hours chatting away. Teesh was patient and funny! I liked that he was frequently checking in on our group to make sure we were enjoying our meal. He advised us on different food options and helped us when we had doubts on how much to order. The food was great but more importantly I enjoyed the overall experience thanks to teesh. Will definitely be coming back.

Decided to have dinner at Mr. Mikes a few days ago. One thing I can say is WOW! The food was excellent and the service is even better. We were served by Daniela. She was super sweet and attentive. Since we had never been there, we were not familiar with the menu. Daniela took the time to go over the menu in detail and offer suggestions. All of her suggestions were extremely tasty. I have been to many restaurants but have never had such great service. She has a warm and friendly demeanor. I didnt realize how late we stayed due to the relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back! I will always make sure to ask to served by Daniela.

We went to celebrate a 65th birthday and our entire family was very impressed with our entire experience. Our server was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The food & service were just excellent. Pros: the 3 appetizers we ordered were all terrific & cooked perfect. The hostess & waitress were both very friendly, wonderful people. We had 2 people in our group order the platters and they were good with exception to the overcooked ribs. Restaurant is clean with lots of parking. Cons: this is a steakhouse but they cannot cook steak properly, out of 4 orders only one was cooked properly- the rest were overcooked. The vegetables (carrots & broccoli) were both very undercooked & so crunchy no one ate them. Multiple items were missing from the orders such as onion rings, dips, and shrimp. The waitress asked the manager to come to our table but with all the time it took it was not worth getting the steaks recooked (and sending stuff back to the kitchen scares me). The kitchen staff must not be experienced or they do not pay attention to detail. The manager did refund our table for one steak- we had 6 people and paid $260 and we will not return to this location, it was a birthday celebration that was ruined. Also the dessert menu is on the drink menu so if you want dessert but are a recovering alcoholic you must look at it all.

Great stuffed mushroom appetizer. The specials were typical bar food. The garlic bread bun was a nice touch with the burger.

Came there for the 3rd time in 6 months and each time the food gets worse. I just came from work to meet a friend for dinner. She was running late and I was starving so I ordered the spin dip. Awful! The chips were stale and the dip so greesy. Did not finish. I cant bring myself to bother the waitresss. She was so awesome (Sydney). The last time I was in I ordered the grilled chicken and it had no flavour and the broccoli was brown and the carrots mushy. Steak before that and the steak over cooked and the vegetables the same soggy and brown. It would be fine if it was a one off but this is 3 times in a row. I wont be back.

I read menus ahead to make sure I can order something friendly to my diet. Mr. Mikes has a variety of foods for others, and salad for me. Dietary restrictions: Kickass chicken salad for the win.

Dismally dissatisfying. It s seems that the portion sizes have an inverse relationship to price. Smallest portions I can remember, but the highest prices. Next up, service. First it was wait wait wait while the staff socialized with each other, then our robot server decided to take our order and take our order. No personality at all, just a robot. The food itself blah. Nothing special at all. Dinner at home would have tasted better. 3-stars is a gift. Bill paid, now we re off to something better.

It was date night so my husband and I decided to go somewhere different. I have been going here since I was a kid. It is not that good. The lobster dunk is really good except I had to get new chips because they were stail to start off. We both had steak, shrimp and veggies. The steak was decent, potatoes out of a box, shrimp meh. Honestly, for the price not worth it. Good, staff and management, except at the end where you were asked to make a donation to a certain fund raiser.

Value for money its alright, its a lower priced option (from a $ value) for the classic steakhouse and pub fare. We had the quesadilla, bruschetta, and steak + mac and cheese. They were all cooked competently, but I would have liked to see a bigger portion for each. There were 2 onion rings and a couple of veggies only. That being said, the mac and cheese was a good amount so I will give them credit on that. Being a weekend it was quiet, and thank you for not blasting the music. Not sure if that is the case at night or when its Friday

Been here twice. First time was amazing. Very busy. Good food as the steak was very well prepared. 2nd time was good, yet, not as good as the first. Going for the three, see which way this will go. Annnnd den...been here several times now and its always excellent. Shout out to the kitchen. And Lacey the server.

They just opened for the day, we were the 1st customer for the day. We ordered sirloin steak with the traditional add on and added 3 jumbo shrimps . Food was ok. Cant really rave about the food as portions are small considering the price. Atmosphere is great with friendly staff.

Mr. Mikes is a great place to hang and get a very good burger or steak, I order the bavon mushroom Mike burger and am never disappointed! Service is good, bathrooms clean, price point is accurate for what you receive. Whenever I can, I hit this restaurant anywhere in the Lower mainland.

Our favourite steakhouse in the area.

I was at this restaurant celebrating my daughter s birthday on November 30th. The service was very good as well as most of the food, however my wife ordered the filet mignon (if she is having steak this is her favorite) and was very disappointed, it tasted funny. It was sent back, and they brought out another one 10 minutes later, only to be further disappointed. She took one bite and could not swallow it. It tasted worse than the first one and was sent back. When the manager asked her if she wanted something else, she said no she was no longer hungry, her appetite was lost. When our bill arrived, the steak was on our bill, we had to ask to have it removed. When the manager arrived with the corrected bill, he mentioned that he spoke with the cook and was informed that the steak was in fact off and that they had thrown out the rest of the case. We live in Mission and it s about a 40-minute drive home. About 5 minutes into the drive home my wife started to get sick to her stomach. She was sick the whole drive home and well into the early morning. She was not able to enjoy the rest of the birthday celebrations at home, we were going to have cake and presents for my daughter. The next day she called the restaurant to tell the manager that she had been physically ill all night and was told I m very sorry about that, I will call the supplier . We have been going to Mr. Mikes in Langley for years and have never had this experience. We went to the Coquitlam restaurant because we had recently moved to Mission and felt that it was closer for us. I would like to add that after the rotten stake was taken off our bill of $200 + I still gave a $50 tip. Very disappointed and not likely to return to the Coquitlam location. The only reason the stars are as much as they are is because the service was good.
