Sushi and Teriyaki in Coquitlam Sushi town
Been going to sushi town for years and love it! Food comes out super quick and is yummy, and the service is great. Highly recommend this place and they have the best potato croquette!
Sushi Town in Coquitlam is a fantastic spot for delicious Japanese food at great prices. The menu has a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, and creative rolls, all served in generous portions. The quality of the food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes that make each visit a treat. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for both small gatherings and family meals. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a pleasant dining experience. Whether you're a sushi lover or just looking to try something new, Sushi Town is a must-visit for a satisfying meal!
Long time Sushi Town customer, it’s always been very good, no complaints. However on this visit, all the portions are noticeably smaller. Awesome Roll definitely not awesome this visit. Definitely less fish on top, and at $14.95 we feel ripped off. Salmon nigiri, noticeably less salmon, and some of the rice not cooked properly. After many years and dollars spent in this restaurant, we won’t be coming back. Very disappointed.
Great food and great service. Staff were very friendly. It took a minute to realize that orders were taken from the tablets on the table. Very easy after that was figured out.
Came on a Saturday with my cousins. Very much enjoyed. Great location by Coquitlam centre. Awesome roll was actually awesome. Glad we tried it. Mango roll is also a favorite. Sometimes the computer i-pad system to order food needs to be charged and thus have to order by server sometimes. Can be confusing for new customers. Maybe charge all the iPad's at night to help improve efficiency. Was great experience. Server was kind to refill hot water and tea regularly. I recommend.
The best chef of the sushi town restaurants. 👌 The standout chef makes this branch exceptional. I highly recommend dining here. We ordered the spicy chicken bites, chicken karaage, and beef teriyaki, and each dish was fantastic. Just a heads-up: if you visit late, sushi might not be available as they switch to a late-night menu.
Very crowded on a Sunday evening, fortunately we had a reservation. That said, we were competing with a bustling take out business in addition to the other patrons in the restaurant for kitchen time. It took quite a while to get our order taken and although food started to arrive almost immediately we started to wonder if some things had missed being recorded (they hadn’t, it was just a long time start to finish). Noteworthy is that hot food arrived first, strangely the salad was delivered last. Timing issues aside, the quality of food was very good.
Amazing service from our server, Yoon!! Great sushi 🍣 tasts fresh and delicious. Really nice and clean restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Washrooms are clean and have child change table. Wheelchair accessible washroom and parking. Plenty of parking available. Prices are reasonable. They are a must check out place!!
Our go to sushi place for over ten years. Love the fantastic roll
Service was sooo bad! 2 other tables and our table had to ask for the bill and they seemed annoyed when I asked for the bill bad service will not be coming back!
Fresh foods always
Food was great, but unfortunetely the service wasnt good. Im not sure why they seem annoyed when you use the call button... they didnt stop by other then to take our orders 1 time and drinks 1 time. Then are annoyed by us calling a waiter to order more drinks. Dont have a call button then. Vegetarian options: Menu seems flexible, with vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: They seem willing to accommodate to dietary needs Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Ripped me off on a delivery order
Stopped in here for lunch one afternoon. Great value for the price. Had a lunch box that came with beef teriyaki, assorted tempura, chicken karaage, a california roll, salad, miso soup and tuna tataki for $21.00. Service was friendly. Would go back.
I ordered 3 green salad with my sushi portion was so small and wasn t fresh at all they increased the price with less portion size
The best sushi restaurant in British Columbia.
It was good.
The place is clean and the staff is very positive
Food is good
super affordable sushi that s tasty!
I have been coming to sushi town for years and unfortunately, the service has really declined in the last six months. It s really unfortunate as this has always been my go to, but the quality of the food is down, the service is terrible and we have started to go elsewhere. Such a shame.
Its so quality fancy sushi for a reasonable price. Never had bad service.
Just don t bother. The service was abysmal.
SO SO SO AWESOME!! The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The atmosphere is so nice and so cozy! The staff are nice and welcoming, very helpful! 10/10 this restaurant cooked AND ate.
New and updated . Order by screen, quick service .it can have more personal touch . Lunch trays are my favourite.
Food was good and the screens for ordering were neat.
Honestly my girlfriend ordered take out today . I always loved their seafood salad but I feel they portion is not only half its size from what it ised to be...there was literally very little seafood. Not to mention when I went to pick up the order the lady made it seem like there was no order made.
Fantastic service, but have inflation prices and portions. They even have the stickers over menu retracting items they offered. Solid but skimp.
Ipads for ordering are really convient. Overall a great experience.
Having recently installed tablets at each table, you have the option to interact with the servers or not. Whichever you choose, the service is prompt and reliable. The food was fantastic and prepared amazingly quick. 10/10, will definitely be dining here again!
What a poor service. Order didnt go through from tablet properly. There is no reason to give some tips. The fried shrimp was too cold and the fish smelled fishy.
The food was amazing, the service a bit slow.
My absolute favourite sushi place in the Tricities. I eat here at least twice a month. Takeout and dine in are both great quality, the portions are good and good value for money. Delicious every time!! I especially like the oshi aburi, and they recently added more varieties of these. Happy!!
This place is the goat
Food is to die for the staff are very nice and pleasant it is clean and tidy very good by far my favorite sushi place
super nice food and reasonable price for sure
Food is amazing here, highly recommend their Alaska roll. They made a mistake and messed up my order and took care of it and even included a free drink and miso soup for the inconvenience. Great service.
Yummy yummy Today my son took me out to eat delicious sushi. 130cad for 6 people.
I like their Roll & Sashimi as it usually made of fresh things and taste great and there prices is a little bit higher than average range.
Old place but good food
Used to be my favorite restaurant (price and taste) but they make so MANY mistakes!!!!! I usually order through uber. So many times, spicy Korean style Sashimi was missing tamago. Today I ordered 19 piece sashimi set but it came with only 15 (missing 4 amaebi) Really, why is this omitted so often...? I thought once or twice that I was human and could make a mistake. At this point, there are more customers who dont check carefully, so I think theyre leaving it out on purpose. Its not even You Can It, so why are you doing business like that? I feel really bad that they are trying to trick me by leaving out only the smallest sweet shrimp from the 19-point sashimi.
I just placed an order of prawn tempura online. There should be 8 pieces for that order. However, I ve only got six. Called them back but with no apology for their mistake.
Great food and nice staff. My only complaint food be the price, but that goes for anywhere these days. Food
It s truly sad to see this place go downhill these past few years. The service was super limited and the prices are not that affordable. The sushi rolls were falling apart and the rice was wet and overwhelming. They even substituted cucumber in all rolls to make up for other ingredients :,(
good food, good service, lots of parking. uni bowl was great. the ramen was... good effort. Food
Always very tasty,, quick and fast service.. A must try
Sushi Town offers good quality food with very generous portions. Either their dishes are bigger portions at similar prices compared to other sushi restaurants around; or regular portions at slightly cheaper prices. If you order a certain dollar amount of food at lunch time, they offer TacoYaki at $2. Their lunch combos are offered at good prices as well. FYI, Teriyaki Chickens skin seems to be deep- fried rather than grilled texture. I prefer the crispiness of the skin of the chicken, but just wanted to mention in case some people prefer the regular grilled feel of it. If you visit the restaurant when they first open at the opening hour, I would recommend to dress warm. I feel slightly cold inside, but it feels warmer if you go in the afternoon or at night. Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall sharing with a coffee shop, Domino pizza, pharmacy, pet food store, a financial institute, etc. There are plenty of parking spots available and about 8 spots right in front of the restaurant.
Taste, but super small portions and mochi went absolutely frozen which impossible to bite.
Its one of our favorite Sushi places in town. Their sashimi is always fresh and they have a variety of rolls.
Ordered masago cream udon on Uber Eat. On Uber Eat, sometimes it can be a hit or miss. Sushi Town definitely did not cheap out on the ingredient for Uber Eat delivery. The masago cream udon was very creamy and tasty. The portion of the masago was generous, even came with a few scallops.
The Best around!! We re becoming regulars just because they are hands down the best in all categories. The Spicey salmon Don can t be beat - trust me my hubbys tried other places. Their beef teriyaki is scrumptious - the cabbage is sooo good and the cut of meat is perfect. Plus it comes piping hot. They have switched over now to iPad ordering at your table. Works well. Very clean and they are all so nice. Of course we ll be back soon!!
I always love coming here. Ive never had a bad experience before and this is our go-to sushi place. I always order salmon nigiri, ebi nigiri, hokkigai nigiri, and a salmon roll. Their tempura and sashimi are great too! Food
I highly recommend this Sushi Town among all other branches. The environment is very peaceful, very modern and the food is amazingly delicious. Dont forget Alaska roll! You will love it.
Ordered lots of food . Sashimi. Spicy scallop roll . Nigiri. Tempura. Teriyaki chicken. Gyoza. Yakisoba noodles. Only Tempura. noodles. Gyoza and Teriyaki chicken spicy scallop roll came and it took 30 min. Asked for bill minus all the food that never came and left. They have a stupid computer Order tablet at the table. If Im using that Im not tipping. And I didnt. I seen lots of wrong orders going to tables that never ordered it. Im 100% sure I will not go back. Why because Im sitting on the toilet 20min after eating there.. writing this review. Very disappointing. I see the owner only replies to good reviews. Well lets see if you reply to this review.
Food good. Portions good size. Only hiccup was the table ordering system which didnt work today.
Great sushi, great service
I love this sushi place. Vegetarian options: I love the green salad. The dressing is amazing Parking: I park in front of the restaurant every time and never had a problem finding parking Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and boosters and are very helpful when requesting these.
Great food and service. Plenty of parking spots. I highly recommend this location.
Awesome place to eat sushi, friendly atmosphere and delicious sushi.
Changing my mind about this place after 5 years! It used to be super fresh and healthy, now its mostly deepfried and greasy! I think its my last time here. Food : 1/5
Decent quality at aforable price I approve
I don t think I have ever seen a sushi roll so small. No filling what so ever and the rolls are the size of a loonie. Don t waste your money like we did
I ask the server to remove the cucumber from the rolls, Because my mom has stomach issue with cucumber. But they still put it inside.
Amazing quality been going here for 10+ years
This restaurant is not professional. They don t know how to cook Japanese food at all. I ordered a chicken katsu don. and they served me a fried chicken. After I corrected them, 20 minutes later, they gave me the fried chicken on rice. See the picture. Let me know if you think this is the chicken katsu don. The restaurant ruined my new Year day.
The best Sushi I ever have for many years, especially the Alaska Roll and BC Roll, really fresh salmon sashimi, friendly waitress, another thing I would like to recommend is their washrooms are so clean, not like some restaurants, you don t have any appetite after walk out from it. Highly recommended!
Just had lunch at Sushi Town after a long time. Our server Rain made the visit so delightful and offered lovely service and suggestions. The quality of the food we ordered was great. The only reason we gave the food 4 stars is that prices have increased quite significantly, while portion sizes are half what they used to be, especially for the sashimi. Otherwise, we would definitely go back, especially to see Rain!
To go sushi place for years :)
I didnt like the servers vibes and what i ordered.
My weekly sushi spot for lunch for over 2 years now. Food quality is always consistent and tastes excellent. Never had an issue with their service and they are very accommodating of any special request.
Food is great but this place is always busy. Need to be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes at busy times
Always a line up. Good sushi for this neck of the woods. Korean owned and operated. Our sushi craving go to restaurant. That was 3 years ago. Since then - quality and service has slipped. Combined with the price increase (which on its own would have been acceptable) - its no longer a great experience; dine in or take out. They dont even have spoons or forks for udon (which our littlest one eat). 2 out of 3 times the unagi (eel) will be subpar and have bones - making them inedible. Typically the rolls are executed haphazardly and loosely - making consumption a messy affair. The basics: tuna and salmon rolls are a disgrace as they are made with discarded extras that are lumped up and stuffed in the middle of the roll. This should have been the standard and yardstick. To add to all that the washrooms are atrocious. And flagging down a server requires great effort. Skip this one if youre looking for a new spot. Unless things change consider a switch if this has been your go to. Too bad. We used to love this place. Im giving them a bonus star for nostalgias sake.
Jane was wonderful and she was very helpful.
Always our favorite place to go. New lunch boxes - to die for! Hostess/server Rain is super fun & accomodating.
One of my favorite sushi restaurant in Coquitlam area. The food is good but the service is kinda hit & miss. They usually have long line during busy time so I usually do take out. - Agedashi tofu: crispy tofu & delicious sauce. The tofu pieces were quite big - Gomae: good peanut sauce to complement the spinach - Spicy salmon & tuna sashimi: sashimi tasted fresh and the spicy sauce is my favorite! Great balance of sweet & salty but it is quite spicy. The fish pieces used to be bigger but the portion is still good for the price. - Awesome roll: my favorite roll! It is loaded with salmon, masago & crab meat and the sauce is just YUM! It is pricy but worth it! - Mangodaise roll: the mango mayo sauce is delicious! The mango inside the roll gives some sweetness to the roll. - Inari: good big pieces
Sushi is good, love the Gomae Salad, prices are reasonable staff are polite and service is good. Restaurant is clean.
Really kind staff, average food. Comforting place to eat.
Ever since Covid, now theyve cut back on their Toro sashimi, by half! If I was sitting inside, I wouldve brought it up. Awesome roll still delicious bug stay away from Toro, paying more for not just a little less, a LOT less. I actually believed they forgot half of it
Last night dine in will be my last in this place. Their prices have gone up so much and their sushi rolls are tiny (sizes are half their competitor). Their tako is a joke, it is a thumbnail size and rice was crumbling for almost $4 each. No way. And lastly, 15% tip is the default on their machine. Like in your face, you pay 15% more. Their service is still good but I just cannot justify the price with the size of food portion and poor quality of their food anymore. Goodbye after 5 years of coming to your place. You need to improve your food and get it back to where it was.
Friendly staff with Yummy food that comes out quickly. Miso soup would be better with firm tofu, but overall good and will always come back
I ordered two avocado rolls, which actually contained cucumber and mayo, which I did not like. Additionally, all the avocados were damaged and browned, even though I picked them up right away. I threw them straight into the trash. I will not be back here anymore and would not recommend this place to anyone.
This is by far my favorite place to get sushi. The service is awesome, and the food is top tier.
Been going here for years, always generous portions and fast service. huge menu and reasonable prices keep us coming back
Great service and food
I like this place better than other suchi restaurants.
Kind waiter and delicious Sushi
Good food and good value
Try the salmon and tuna rolls , and if you dine in during lunch time they have a $3.00 limited beer in can special.
One of the best sushi restaurants in town. Super delicious foods at a very reasonable price. Been here many many times. We just love it.
Rice was bland and dry. Seaweed was soggy. Cant believe it was handmade. TNT sushi is better.
We came to this location numerous times to give them a few chances, especially since some of my family members like other sushi town locations Katsu but its been a negative experience each time. My family eats sushi every week and have tried many restaurants and I never seen a restaurant be so stingy with their tuna. I ordered tuna roll and a few of my rolls barely had any tuna in them. One didnt have any at all when I opened it up! It was nothing more but a rice roll. They are also inconsistent with taste with a lot of their foods from my experience. However, they have good service. I hope they will improve in the future.
Entire restaurant three waiters only. Two of them they just start working in that day. Very Long waiting time. The waiter very very very rude. The Prices vary high lots of rice not enough fish . I pay $80 plus the tip and I go out still hungry. Food
Price & taste are good, but customer service bad. Restaurant need more waitress & Waiter.
Service is pretty bad. Only couple of servers for entire place. Food is average at best.
The female waitresses here are very unfriendly. The bowl I received as an extra had a lot of foreign substances on it, so I asked for a replacement, but they took it without an answer and told me there was no change! Even when serving food! Even when children ask for cold water because they want to drink it, they just tap a glass of water without answering! I guess I really didnt want to go to work today. Even though they were part-time workers, I felt very bad.
Quick for take out and good food too.
Its probably the best sushi place Ive been to around the area and great to see no more fishy smell when you go in ....
This sushi is so banging i started crying 11/10
Grand dining experience! I went back again for the first time since the pandemic & it was lovely!! Go!
The sushi is not tasty, it falls apart and there is no soy sauce on it!
Amazing food, and great service.
Come here to eat with my family. We sat down for 20 mins and no server has ever come. We have to raise our hand so many times and finally some of them has come . After ordering our foods , i was gonna order sth to go. One of the server come and let us know the last call will be at 8:45pm. I look at my phone and it was 8:44pm. I asked her if i can have 2 mins to call my husband and ask what he wants? She looks at the watch and reply to me : it 8:44pm , u have 1 min - As soon as our foods ready, she brought it out but she couldn t hand it softly.. they missed my orders and i have tried to ask and no one was around
Food was good, except the fried tofu was a bit hard.
Came for sushi yesterday. I feel like there has been an improve in service which is a good thing. Heard that they will be introducing new menus soon so I will probably come back to check it out. But I did feel like some rolls were falling apart when eating. Their teriyaki is the best though.
There was this super nice lady server I really enjoyed. Was really enthusiastic about their new menu. Tried their new creamy jumbo shrimp by her recommendation and I really loved it.
After trying couple of famous sushi restaurants.. that s my favorite!! Amazing and friendly service..super delicious food. The best in BC !!! Will definitely come back and will recommend it to everyone.
Poor service. Long waiting!
Placed online order and surprised to see that it will be ready in 50 minutes. Went in to the restaurant on supposed time but had to wait extra 20 mins. We were so hungry by the time we got home and eat the sushi. But even with our hunger, we still noticed that this is not a good quality sushi. They must have used jasmine rice with so much water coz what we ate is not made of sushi rice at all. The flavor is lacking. Ingredients, over riped and over cooked. I m not really picky with my sushi and I m not into making negative reviews online but this was really a bad experience that I made time to write this.
Decent, but not excellent. Quality is good, prep and presentation solid.
We decided to have an early dinner and visited Sushi Town for the first time. Service was great, food was yummy, and price was reasonable. Red Dragon and Town sushi were our faves. We will definitely go back and try different ones
Plentiful portions and freshness at an attractive price point make Sushi Town the king of budget sushi. Even the service is decent these days, but we still prefer take out
The food was delicious, but they didnt have enough servers so they didnt even refill my car and I had to wait too long to get what I needed. What always disappoints me every time I visit is that even though it is a sushi restaurant, it still smells a bit fishy.
20 min before acknowledged in an empty restaurant No tuna tataki... really Having to ask for Wasabi and ginger Never refilling water, actually walked past our table and turned their back When getting Bill, didnt give us a bill just the debit machine... total was kinda high...asked for bill... was over charged... Asked for revised bill... again brings debit machine... still too high... asked again to see the bill.... said she would have to get the manager to adjust... how did she come up with the amount for the debit machine... and it was still wrong...
Always my go to go sushi place! The place is clean but always cold. Lol but overall I love the food. Never disappoint me!
We ve been going to Sushi Town for years and ordered for delivery tonight. Sushi is all about consistency, and it was a huge let down did ownership change? Were we unlucky and got the interns sushi chefs? What happened? The sushi rice was mushy, I mean like glutinous rice, and the salmon sashimi (this one is diced and comes with a gojuchang sauce) was half the portion we d usually get in the restaurant. Lastly the BC Roll which I considered best around because they packed it with salmon skin is now reduced to pollock filler. All the rolls were also smaller, and the wasabi was a weird greenish hue. Not the usual pistachio green, I m talking is this radioactive? To me all these are signs they re cutting corners or there s a change of ownership. It s really disappointing as a long time customer (6+ years). I hope this is a one off - especially during Covid we did a ton of take out from here and it was always fantastic.
Family favourite - their spicy salmon sashimi. Best around town. Tried elsewhere, always seem to circle back here for their spicy salmon.
One of my favorite sushi restaurants. Service is good but need some improvement. Food is always good here.
Good quality and low price Vegetarian options: Vegetarian set meal available Parking: Convenient parking
I always enjoyed sushi town. Enjoyed the one in Burnaby and enjoy the one here. The awesome roll is a classic! Food : 4/5
The most delicious sushi i ever eat. Best service, will back again to eat more..
This is The Third time in pick up orders, that part of order is missing and every-time has to credit to the next order! The issue, they don t take serious and deliver missing orders to their local residents! Please check your orders every time!
This place has gone from a great place to bad and now worse. Today we ordered Korean Style Ishi Yaki. Halfway through this dish a big fly was there. It was disgusting. No apology, nothing. I hope the food safe BC authorities check the standard of their kitchen. I am sure the kitchen is not up to food safe standards. We also got wrong orders that we had not asked for.
My daughter, who has a very picky taste, has been frequently visiting Sushi Town lately. She has fallen in love with their yaki udon made with mentaiko. Im glad she has found a new dish that captures her taste buds. Also, my husband enjoys the fresh salmon sashimi, pumpkin croquettes, and shrimp tempura here. I love Sushi Town for providing satisfaction to our family with their amazing foods and pleasing service!
Added - I am happy to say I spoke with Chloe at Sushi Town and they are have already started working on a gluten free menu and assured me that there will be no cross contamination. I will make sure to be one of the first people to try it. Thank you Sushi Town for accommodating allergies Initial review - For anyone who is Celiac. Called to confirm what I could order and they advised it is not a gluten free kitchen and does not recommend ordering food from. Lady did not sound very educated on what has Gluten and what they can do to make it gluten free. Very sad.
Food portion, food quality and taste are all dropped significantly, service is not great, I don t think they had enough servers and so the customers have to suffer for slow service and forgotten orders etc. I will not go back again! Sad day! Reply to restaurant: I m not sure how you can find my information if I am a walk in customer they never take our names, they only ever ask how many?! Thanks for trying tho :)
The service was horrible. It feels like they hate us. They ignore so much we had to shout and wait for atleast 10 minutes to even notice us.
I am only giving this place restaurant 2 stars. I have been frequenting Sushi Town for years and have never had an issue with them. I have been for in-person, pickup, and delivery. Their food has always been decent and flavorful, with the food coming out on time. Sometimes there is a bit of a longer wait because its busy. However, in the past 4 months, their service has really gone down the drain. I have ordered from them 3 separate times and in each of the last 3 times, they cancelled my order 10 minutes before it was supposed to arrive (through Uber Eats). I dont know whether it was because they get bombarded with too many other peoples orders at once, but it is extremely frustrating to think your food is going to come and then scrambling to find an alternative 10 minutes before it is supposed to arrive. One of those times my Uber delivery driver actually went to the restaurant to pickup, and they told him they had cancelled my order. He then messaged me in confusion and anger assuming I had cancelled it myself and obviously I too was confused with what was going on. Nobody was informed on what was going on. I likely wont be ordering them again. Too unreliable and pretty poor service when they are canceling orders and not communicating well. There are a lot of sushi restaurants in Coquitlam that will actually get you the food you order.
I was a bit disappointed with my recent visit to this sushi place. I ordered yam tempura as an appetizer, but it arrived late, which meant I couldnt enjoy it before my sushi. When I requested to return the sushi for the fried one instead of the California rolls, they said it wasnt possible. The delay and inability to change my order left me a bit frustrated. The sushi itself was decent, but the overall experience could have been better.
Great food and service is good too. But washrooms need to get updated. Washroom is not clean.
This popular sushi chain restaurant offers consistency across its locations through high standards of ingredients, preparation techniques and service. This space achieves a polished yet relaxed ambiance through its clean, modern design. Menu standouts like the [FANTASTIC ROLL] showcase the chefs skill at artfully constructed rolls. Its an excellent choice for happy hour, when prices are reduced but quality remains uncompromised. Our server maintained a professional yet welcoming demeanor throughout our meal. I would recommend visiting for both the quality sushi and pleasant dining experience. Is it the best sushi in Vancouver no. However it is among the best within 20 km. Parking: I have never not gotten a parking spot. Wheelchair accessibility: Technically accessible however a little difficult
Ordered online via their website. They said it would be ready in 15 min. I arrived at the pickup time and still waited an additional 25 min at the restaurant. This has now happened twice to me. I also notice that prices have come up.
Thanksgiving dinner, the food was great but the service was terrible. There was a female employee there? Its a really horrible, rude attitude. This restaurant used to be one of my familys favorite places. The staff was kind and friendly, but there are things that have changed. I dont care about employees, but as a customer, communication and service are important. Its just horrible
The sushi was good and our food came out relatively quickly.
Very interesting experience. Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit them again
Went for lunch during a weekend. We got there just as they were opening. The restaurant filled up quite rapidly which was impressive. Prices were fair. I had the Spicy Tuna combo and my wife had the salmon combo. She said her meal was very good. My spicy tuna rolls were good but my there was too much sauce on the salad portion of the meal. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.
Wow so yummy!! Services are also nice!! I had a good time with my old friend! Thanks
Super nice service :) The server with a mask was super helpful with the menu. They have the best sp tuna and salmon sashimi around. Their chicken katsu is quite big for the price. A little loud though I wish it was a little quieter.
What they advertise spicy rolls, the spice is very mild and tastes very bland
Food are not freshly made, Salads are prepared before and totally looking and testing not fresh at all! Service was good, ginger was dry out, Will not go there again! Food : 1/5 |
I really dont like sushi, but this is the only place that I eat sushi and every single one of there food are delicious
I tried their takeout sushi, and it was a hit! The gyoza and udon were good, but the tuna sashimi was fresh and delicious. The real winner was the tuna tataki roll - absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended for a quick sushi craving fix
Really good food and clean
Food is a bit better than service, but still not really worth your money.
Normally their take out dishes are good however time to time they miss side items (ginger / wasabi) and ingredients dont smell fresh. This could be just for take out.. Please maintain consisteny. Food
Always consistent. My go to if craving for some affordable sushi in the tri-cities!
Great sushi, great atmosphere, great prices.. What more could you ask for!! Best sushi Ive had in a long time and portion sizes were large
I rarely leave a bad review, however..... I ordered a $55.00 ( including a buy one get one dynamite roll) combo meal and had it delivered via Uber eats (Nov 24, 2023). When I opened the containers, I could smell plastic and grease. I thought it might be the bag leaving a bad smell, so I put the sushi on a clean plate and the plastic smell seemed to subside, but when I started eating a few pieces I could taste plastic!!! The dynamite rolls not only tasted of plastic but stale grease as well. The other pieces I tried from the various selections didnt have any flavour at all (bland), aside from plastic. Perhaps the take out containers are not food safe? This was hands down the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a sushi meal......I can still taste the plastic/grease even after trying to brush it out of my mouth. Disgusting! Sushi down the toilet. In the case of a rebuttal to this review by the restaurant; I do not want another opportunity to try your food. Unfortunately, I will never consume it again. Only a refund would be appropriate......
This is a sushi restaurant I often go to!!! The taste is good and the price is great!!! The representative roll and the kids are very satisfied if we order the lunch set menu!! The lunch set is less than $10... Udon, fried shrimp, and rolls are all great! I always stop by when I have to go to Coquitlam Center. Every time I go, this is the sushi restaurant that I am most satisfied with for the price.
Ordered on Uber Eats. I asked for a special request because of my dietary restrictions they went above and beyond to cater to my needs! Thank you!
Been here a few times lately and Ive been happy with the food and service! Good local sushi place with friendly staff and great food for a reasonable price!
Great place for affordable sushi. I love their spicy salmon sashimi and awesome roll. Service can vary depending on the server but overall it is decent. Great place to come with kids.
Sushi town is the only place I go when we come to Vancouver to get sushi. The food is always top-notch, and service is awesome. I will always keep on going
Lunch special is really special
This place used to be great but after covid the quality here has gotten incredibily bad
