Newly decreased seating and lighting is uninviting. Bauhaus interior is reminiscent of Soviet Era Brutalism. No more refills, just grab your gruel through the drive through. Not even affordable anymore. Not the McDonald's you grew up with. No playplace, birthday parties or GameCubes. Only sadness. I guess even the smiles aren't free here anymore.
Worst MacDonalds service I’ve ever had! Sat in line-up for 25 minutes. One line was moving and the other wasn’t so I pulled ahead, ordered at the window, and spoke to the manager at the pick up window. After several more minutes waiting the manager apologized. When I got my food, it was wrong. I ordered a double Big Mac with added bacon and I got a plane double cheeseburger that was cold and no fit to eat. Not a good feeling after being on the road all day 👍.
When we did a pick-up order, we waited a long time for our food, and when it finally came, they got a bunch of things wrong. They forgot to give me fries, and to add tomato and bacon that we payed extra for. As well, we got 2 happy meals, and they gave us the same toys. My niece and nephew were disappointed. This isn't an isolated incident. Every time I go here, the staff are very unfriendly and look like they're bored. They never smile and they make you feel unwelcome- as if you are an inconvenience for getting them to do their job. Would not recommend.
The staff aren't trained properly on how to make the food or take orders, always getting new manager's that rarely know to meet the standards, or they just don't know what to do, everything been going down hill throughout the years, and it's just going to get worse before it gets better, and that's if it's ever going to get better.
Me and my family order a 20 dollar order and they charged us around 40 and we said that’s not right and they made us pay extra so we paid with card and it took the money and they were saying it didn’t work so we had to pay again and they were very disrespectful and rude about it and they took 60 extra dollars from us when they already had got the money for the order but was saying it didn’t work so I won’t be going to that McDonald’s again because there’s problems almost every time i go there I order 2 meals and i only got 1 they closed to renovate but maybe they should focus on renovating their workers cuz clearly they suck at there job..!??
It's so beautiful Store but now it's so different inside and that's great but the service isn't that great. Fast food is the worst for taking and receiving that mic or can't understand what each one is saying ...it well get better in time ...still going there .thank you
8:25 pm today. One person handling cash and food service at last window at this location. Served customers ahead of us that way. We went to window no customer service person seen in 2nd window so we advanced to last window. Sonja asked young lady are you handling cash and food ....yes she said, other girl not there. We asked to speak to manager, he was difficult saying it was our fault. Pointed out Sonja to another staff member drawing her further more into the situation. Saying we should have stayed at other window we waited but due to confusion with construction barrier hard to know what to do. Sonjas has been going to this establishment for 41 years, due to this embarrassment will not be back. Manager was rude and needs training in customer relations. On the headset, he admonished other window personnel to stay at the first window to obtain payments from now on. No one serving food should handle cash...so dirty. This was the only point we wanted to make to Alvin the manager.
Awful. Waited for our food for 30m. Food was made and girl left it sit ON THE COUNTER as she was waiting for rest of the items to complete the order. We asked how much longer is the wait and girl just said "idk" and left. We asked for fresh fries. Girl took fries back, intead of throwing them in the garbage, she threw them back in a bucket, mixed with a bit of fresh fries and served them again. So fries that we touched with dirty hands to check the temperature were mixed with rest of the fries and will be reserved? Seriously!? Obviously, food was cold. Huge chunks of onion on the burger.

Its under renovation, but answering machine said in store dining. Its not, staff did not care. Food was great.

It s not the service or business it s self. It s the owner who allows an employee to have a vehicle with a ak 47 rifle on the side of there car. The park it right in from of the business. The owner and manager should do something about it, not appropriate for a business with so many kids around.

Cashier was unable to make change for two small coffees from a $20 bill, even after I questioned her about the cost of the coffee.

Always messing up orders even when going back they will still give you the wrong thing. They wont offer anything for the inconvenience. Its actually ridiculous how their service is, its disgusting behavior, always double/triple check your order before leaving.
Its unfortunate that all items are not on the menu 24 hours. I just went through drive through and was not able to get a sundae. They said they turned the machine off and do not serve it at this hour.
MacDonalds Corner Brook, stopped there on our way to Conne River. It was a much needed meal . I had a Big Mac meal and Mike had a nugget meal , Shawn had a cheese burger.
Your order number shows complete and then you have to wait another 5 minutes.
Every time I go here they mess up my simplest of orders, ie Med Grimace Shake - I get strawberry, ask for no cheese - I get cheese, ask for Quarter Pounder BLT - they charge me for a Quarter Pounder with lettuce, tomato, and bacon which in fact costs more than a BLT menu item.

I order quite a lot from McDonald s and it s usually a decent experience. You get what you expect. I went to McDonald s this evening and had the must unpleasant visit. I went through the drive and the order screens weren t working I ordered my simple order and had trouble hearing the person taking my order. When I went up to the first window to pay for my order I made sure that my order was correct, and I made a mistake with my order and I was apologetic and fixed the order and payed, then went to the second window to receive my order. The lady at the last window gave me my order and I let her know it was completely wrong. She then asked me can you just take it? . And my order was for someone else not for me. So I said um, no is it alright if I get my correct order? . She then snatched back the order and slammed the door. If I was rude to her I would completely understand the way she acted but like I wasn t and still. She was very saucy, when she then gave me my drinks they weren t even filled. But I didn t say anything. And I said thank you so much, have a nice evening she then replied with a simple yup . Anyways that s the end of the spill. And I tried calling McDonald s no answer. I promise I m not a Karen. Thanks.
Clean restaurant; drive -thru is fairly quick; mobile order can at times be slow. Check your orders, sometimes items are missing
My friend was served today at confederation Dr. by a young man named Brandon, he was so kind and polite I had to write this so he will get acknowledged. He deserves to be noticed by the way he treats his customers. You are such a kind person and we need more like you Brandon.

Busy place
3 times in a row they didn t add the bacon to my burger which I pay $2.50 for each time and everytime i go in to exchange it and get it fixed the staff wants to argue with me instead of just simply fixing the order, im sick of the terrible service at this mcdonalds
This place is a joke. Cannot get a single order right!! Will not be dining or taking out from here ever again. Never recommend!

Food was cold.. both Burger and fries . Havent been there in forever, But this being a busy Christmas season it was easier grabbing something fast.. Visited twice in the last month and had the same experience both times... Will definitely be a while before / if I return to that location.
This McDonalds is always clean, with courteous staff...have never had a bad experience here!
Tried the drive-through again for breakfast. Another disaster. The man at the window did not have our order even remotely right (we were the only person in line) and he didnt have any idea how to correct it. Turns out this was he same individual who messed up my order so badly the last tie the shift manager came to the window and asked me to come inside. Unreal. The management and staff are absolutely incompetent at this location and they are getting worse. Once again had to drive away without my order due to untrained staff.
Cold fries
the workers here are horrible, i was waiting around 25 minutes for 4 bacon and eggers with an empty drive through. never coming here again, ridiculous

Awful. The I pretty sure new worker took about 15 per customer to just get a simple order done. When it was our turn to order a medium black coffee and a coffee frappe we waited another 20 for the drinks. When we left we realized we got a small coffee frappe and some how a triple triple half and half not even remotely close.

MICHAEL THE MANAGER IS HORRIBLE. I witnessed him yell at 3 staff members within 2 minutes. He was rude and unprofessional. I tried to speak with him and tell him it s not right to yell at the staff, especially in front of the customer and then he yelled at me. Should not be the manager here or anywhere.
Its McDonalds, so I dont expect much from it. There drinks are watered down too often, the food is average for what youre paying for. You get what you pay for and McDonalds is convient but not quality food in my opinion. I give it a 5/10. Parking: Usually always crowded. Kid-friendliness: Theres a room for playing but it sucks. Wheelchair accessibility: Its there but if the drive through is full its a pain to squeeze through with a wheelchair.
Not open 24 hours. Drove through early on June 3 only to be told they had no food and were closing up.

Asked for something cold and sweet not knowing what I wanted. They delivered with excellent service. However, atmosphere feels a little stiff. Decor hasnt changed in years.

They have a double drive thru and I waited 15 minutes by the speaker in the second drive thru while cars kept going through the first drive thru and it wasn t that busy. I had to leave as they would not answer the speaker. Poor service.
McDonalds by the Plaza has a good atmosphere, great service and delicious food (when it comes to unhealthy options). Yum! Not far off of the TCH so its a quick meal for travellers passing by.
Where to start. I dont think I have ever waited so long for food from a McDonalds. Food was cold when it arrived and after a 25 minute wait I was then told the hot drinks machine was not working. Have used this place many times before but it has gotten worse every time. I will not be going back again.

Ive been sitting at the drivethru exit for 20 minutes waiting for my order. Ive stopped two employees and told them Im waiting and Ill Ive gotten are blank stares and half nods.
A good place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Views over the town and harbour are stunning.

Been to a lot of differet McDonalds over the years but this one has the best view by far.
Under no circumstances whatsoever should you trust the night staff with any mobile order. They close and lock the doors and shut down the drive thru and sit there eating your food, and theres no way to get a refund.

Went inside to order .was fast .. used coupon for 2 can dine .plus McNuggets. Order was for 3 people . I unpacked the bag when I got home They missed MY order of McChicken. was handed the bag of food the quickly and left the store. Should have pulled everything in the bag out before leaving to make sure it was all there I could understand if it was busy inside the restaurant but it wasn t (drive thru swamped). Tried calling the restaurant ..no one picking up ..goes to voicemail only ..been trying for an hour. Not willing to burn MY gas going back up there .hoping to reach someone and have it delivered. We ll see.

Its just ok. Its McDonalds after all. When youre eating a burger out of a cardboard box, there really isnt anything great to say!! I really wish they would stop cooking their patties with the onion on them, its nasty.

Says open 24 7 but that s a lie. 8 of us came through at 12:45 and they had garbage cans in the drive through to block it off. You can t trust the hours posted. They close at 12 when the dining room closes. I called to inquire because there were people inside but nobody answered the phone.

Absolutely by far worst customer service I have ever received. Im not feeling well, and wanted to grab something quick for lunch while I am at work. I ordered a big mac with the coupon through the McDonalds app. It auto-selected the walmart location, by the time I got there (5 mins) the app stopped working and I couldnt pull up my order. As I was trying to get it to work on my phone, the girl simply stood there with her arms crossed asking me what the order number was and stating that they never received it. After experiencing her attitude with crossed arms, etc. I decided it wasnt worth my time and I would go to the other location s minutes down the road - surely they would be able to help. I waited in their long line up and when I got to the speaker I was trying to explain what happened, and was cut off by the employee who exclaimed yeah, the app isnt working, weve had other issues with that today. ...... so, I said right, thats what I was getting at, the app isnt working, but I would still like to place my order and have the coupon ordered. I was told they couldnt do that. I said its not my fault the app isnt working, and she retorted that it also wasnt her fault. I exclaimed thats not what I was suggesting, but since their app isnt working I think they should still honour the price. She wouldnt. So, I asked to speak with a supervisor. He gave me the same story, and even lied to me to say that he couldnt do anything as far as discounting the meal from their cash system (which I have worked with many cash systems in my life, and not one of them doesnt have some kind of feature in order to address situations like this.) and that there was nothing he could do. I spent an hour on my lunch break, trying to order a meal from McDonalds app that wasnt working and none of the McDonalds would honour the price of their own coupon despite the issue being their fault. Total lack of appreciation for customers, and their time. WORST customer service I have received in an extremely long time and I will ensure that everyone is aware of how awful this location is.

They treat student employee harsh and rude. There are 40-50 staffs at same time inside small place of corner brook plaza and students meet with many accidents everyday. Totally inhuman. Im shocked how such fast food services are not visited by human rights of of Canada
